1. I have always been against war. I cannot accept killing people as a solution to any problem. But war is about killing people, massive killing. How humanity can still accept war as a solution to conflicts between nations is unthinkable.

2. It is even more unthinkable when there are other ways of solving the problem. And these other ways are less lethal and less destructive. The cost would also be much lower.

3. What are the other ways? Man is endowed with the capability to think. These other ways involve negotiation, arbitration or a court of law. With the capacity to think men can weigh the pros and cons of the solution.

4. Clearly peaceful negotiation is the best way to resolve conflicts.
