If as you say, the United States of America is the the sole super-power. Then, it is in her own best national interest in the exercising of her security and peace for her hinterland that her representatives are fully cognisant of her world hegemony which includes not only all the countries which have diplomatic relations with her, but also important and strategic digits like Israel, Taiwan, South Korea and some Singaporeans hope, Singapore too.
The United States relationships in the Middle East were complicated enough before 9/11. The geo-politics of the post-Cold War period brought a brief respite.
But this was only the tip of a history of the Jews which went back a very long way back for 2,000 years. From then on, the Jews made themselves generally useful and beneficial to the leaders of the lands in which they settled in.
It was morally wrong for the British who at a moment of weakness just gave up their Mandate on Palestine since the end of the World War 1 with the knowledge of the Balfour Declaration of 1922. vide. Wikipedia. With the vacuum of power so created, powerful Jewish forces moved in to fill the gap and the Palestinians were dispossessed. This was after the horrific World War 2. Then, not much thought was given to the options which might arise in the future e.g. geo-politics, oil, the Cold War, human rights, globalization etc. There were no ‘think-tanks’ then.
By the time of the emergence of Israel as a full fledged independent state sponsored by the United States in 1948, the West was fully indebted to the Jews who were of service to them during the 2 World Wars. The word ‘oil’ was not an important word in the vocabulary yet because colonialism was still riding high in the late 1940s.
The British ( they had some anxious moments ) would have bungled in Malaya as well if not for the magnanimity, humanity and multi-culturaltism attitudes of the Royal Sultans, UMNO and Dato Onn Jaafar and others towards the non-Malays who in turn were understanding of their wherewithal. Saya dapati suasana hari raya sudah dapat dirasai di pusat2 beli belah di ibu kota. Berbeza dengan tahun sebelumnya, tahun ini lebih meriah dengan dekorasi yang lebih cantik. Jika sebelum kita lihat kebanyakkan pusat beli belah ini kurang memberi sambutan untuk hari raya, tetapi tahun ini agak memuaskan. Saya rasa inilah antara initiative kecil yang boleh dilakukan untuk menggalakkan perpaduan. Janganlah kerana orang Melayu kurang bershopping di KLCC, maka sambutan dikurangkan (pada saya ini adalah tersangat racist!)

2) Corruption ( as if no other countries is worst than Malaysia, in this respect. Even USA is practising corruption. In USA political contribution is legal but then there is no such thing as free lunch, is it? The fact remains that corruption is next to prostitution that have existed since the beginning of the world and will not be easy to eradicate).
3) Freedom of speech & discent, ( We allow but it must be with social responsibility. What kind of freedom they have in mind? law of the jungle?).

You are right that every American Presidential candidate go over each other to please the Jews and Israel. This thing is more evident in the last fifty years or so. With the daily quarrels between the Palestinians and the Israelis which are shown on the media in America, the people of that country start to view the Arabs in the more negative ways.
The Jews took advantage of this and exert more pressure on the American Government with their media influences and money. The Jews was successful in making the Americans believe that they are the bastion of stability in the Middle East and a trusted allay who can help America whenever they need. While no Arab countries could offer the same including Saudi Arabia. Also the conservatives in America view Israel as a God-Given real estate, and they are very strong groups that the candidates need to be on their side.
We should not forget that Barack Obama was strongly supported by the Jewish money in the last election of which he won. Traditionally the Jews in America vote Democratic and this time I think that Obama will win again. Obama as President is surrounded with Jewish advisers and his first politcal appointee when becoming President was a Jew and his chief campaign manager is also a Jew.
But I believe in the future the Americans will come to their senses and will not be afraid to say no to Israel. Now we are beginning to hear some voices that condemn Israel among the politicians in that country.

It would seem to me that your appeal here is more addressing the Malaysian Electorate now, telling them how great the Malaysian people are in their considerations when it comes to their own elections which are due soon now, something that is of course totally right and also fair to comment on, but it could be done something less pathetic, couldn’t it?
Malaysians are a mature people and the voters know the strength and weaknesses of their politicians and their system – no need to confront or confuse them with equations that are really neither here nor there to them.
Malaysians really couldn’t care less whether the U.S. needs approval from Israel even if this were so which I will advocate that it isn’t. Israel has strong ties with the U.S., their common goal is to further Peace in the region which someone will hopefully soon be able to achieve, for at the rate they are currently all going soon there will be no-one left to discuss peace with anymore for they will have destroyed themselves mutually.
How pathetic it is that Mankind will never learn from all the wars they have fought in the past – learn that dialog is always preferable to armed confrontation. Not even Golda Meir, their former Woman-Prime-Minister, was able to have this accepted in that region.
