Flip-Flop
Shortly after withdrawing subsidy for oil, the Government announced that salaries for Government servants would be paid twice a month.
Now the Government has announced it would continue to pay salaries once a month.
One can almost hear the flip followed by the flop.
Good morning Tun Dr M. How are you nowadays. Ini merupakan kali pertama saya melayari dan memberi komen di ruangan blog Tun. Saya berasal dari Sabah dan telah mengikuti perkembangan dan perjalanan Tun semenjak 1981 hingga sekarang dan pada tahun Tun memmegang jawatan PM masa itu saya masih di tingkatan 1.
Tun, pertanyaan saya adalah :
1. Apakah situasi kerajaan kita sekarang kerana masa ini ianya sangat-sangat mengeliru dan bagaimana masa depan Malaysia

Salam hormat. Flip Flop policy and flopped decicions made by Government. Decisions by the Government should be based on issues and needs of the people. Kakitangan Kerajaan tidak pernah meminta gaji dibayar dua kali sebulan, sebaliknya meminta gaji dan elaun sara hidup dikaji berikutan dengan kenaikan harga petrol dan barang-barang.
The Government should formulate clear-cut policies based on issues and public needs. I do not see any policy with specific objectives, outlining plan of actions and implementation strategies. Yang ada, policy statement like PEMBANGUNAN MODAL INSAN dan ISLAM HADHARI. Sebagai contoh, semasa YABhg Tun mula mengambil alih Kerajaan, banyak Dasar dasar Kerajaan telah diperkenalkan. Walaupun tidak disebut dasar pembangunan insan, pelaksanaan Dasar Pandang Ke Timur, Mengambil contoh Works Ethics orang Jepun dan Korea, Penerapan Nilai-nilai Islam dalam Pentadbiran, Bersih, Cekap dan Amanah dan Kepimpinan Melalui Teladan adalah strategi-strategi ke arah Pembangunan Modal Insan. Begitu juga dengan dasar-dasar yang lain adalah jelas seperti Pelan Induk Perindustrian, Dasar Pembangunan Industri Berat, Dasar Pertanian Negara dsb.nya. Dasar-dasar tersebut mempunyai matlamat dan pelan tindakan/pelaksanaan . Kekesanannya bergantung kepada pelaksana dan rakyat yang menerima faedah dari Dasar tersebut.
Malangnya, kalau kita bertanya pegawai pegawai Kerajaan yang melaksanakan dasar dasar Kerajaan samada mereka faham pembangunan modal insan, Islam Hadhari, saya rasa majoriti tidak faham. Policy Statement is not enough kalau tidak dinyatakan dengan jelas.
Yang jelas, melaksanakan dasar flip flop…

you say the Govt flip flopped on the subject of their proposal of paying fortnightly vs monthly.
The proposal was to mitigate the situation where employees who had no proper financial management did not spend their entire’s month wage without appropriate budgeting.
While the idea for fotnightly payments is a good one, it wasn’t deemed viable by the Unions, so based on feedback, the Govt decided to retract. That goes to show the Govt is willing to listen and accept feedback.
More than what can be said when you were at helm. Your ridiculing the Govt is a joke. Why don’t you become productive with your criticisms instead of poking fun at a Govt that is willing to evaluate all ideas, not just their own.

Sebenarnya kita tak bencikan Pak Lah. Tetapi hakikatnya ialah beliau lemah dan tiada kemahiran dalam memimpin. Kita perlukan kepimpinan yang kalau tidak sebagus Tun Perak atau Tun Mahathir pun biarlah ia sebijak Tun Daim. Mahir mencari duit dan mahir membelanjakan duit agar rakyat hidup selesa.
Pemimpin juga perlu mempunyai pemikiran yang tajam dan bijak, barulah pemimpin tersebut dihormati oleh lawan ataupun kawan.
Keputusan perlulah dibuat secara teliti dan kemas. Bukan hari ini buat keputusan, esoknya rombak semula. Ini secara tidak lansung mencermin pendirian seseorang pemimpin yang lemah.
Pemimpin perlu ingat bahawa kesilapan dalam membuat keputusan akan menderitakan rakyat jelata.

Beliau membuat atau mencadangkan sesuatu tanpa kejian yang menyeluruh.Bagi saya orang yang mencadangkan kepada DSAAB hanyalah seorang yang tidak cerdik akalnya, malah tujuannya hanya glamour semata-mata. Lainlah kalu gaji pengarah, gaji je dah rm7-8 ribu, campur duit luar lagi(contraktor bagi)atau gaji menteri yang menjangkau rm50K+++, JANGAN PIKIR TEMPOLOK SENDIRI,PIKIRLAH TEMPOLOK ORANG LAIN JUGA…Dari bagi gaji 2x sbln, lebih baik naik kan COLA, Jika ekonomi dh pulih, kerajaan boleh mansuhkan COLA tu, atau wujudkan elaun pengangkutan ke, dimana elaun ni bila-bila masa boleh di naik ATAU diturunkan atau dimansuhkan, kalu naik gaji, ia dh jadi tetap, mcmana pun kena byr, tak kira ekonomi dh pulih atau tidak, macamana boleh jd pemimpin kalu benda simple pun x dpt pikir…
It is not nice move. This practice will further wasting the people money. You have to pay the bank for commision for salary payment twice as compare to current practice once.

nowadays its hard to predict what would happen to malaysians. it seems that everything was done with a minimal thought of the consequences to the rakyat. we need leaders who think about rakyat first not those who think about themselves first. being a leader is actually the heaviest responsibility of all. he or she would be judge by god thoroughly. does he or she being just and kind to the rakyat.
in my opinion there is none in the list of present leaders who actually could lead, who actually has a good and honest heart. be it in the government or opposition. in this time of crisis they should get together and find solution to ease the burden felt by the rakyat not bickering about their personal life which is actually a plain waste of time.
our beloved prophet said that once you accept the role as a leader, one of your legs is already in hell. so… for those who wish to be a leader, do your job according to the will of god… not according to the will of lust…or family…or wife…

But sinced we can’t cry over spilled milk,can Tun actually give us all a firm final hint in the main stream media and others( make sure this time Tun think thoroughly and not later say you have made a mistake again ah. ) who is the right person in our country at present actually able to lead the nation so we can give the fullest support to him or her when needed.
In other words, to cut short,”WHO IS YOUR PRESENT PREFERED CHOICE” ?

Wastage of governmentâs money is the problem statement for the
Research Department to carry out.
Governmentâs money is always, never fully accounted for. One reason is because there are so many government servants and there are so many chains of command. The loopholes are everywhere. Even the Ketua Jabatan is not spared from committing a suspicious financial act.
For the Accounts Department, it will be burdened with more calculations if the salary is paid twice a month. More calculations mean more confusion and more mistakes. Somebody will be paid more. Somebody will be paid less.
As for the flip flop thing, it started since the beginning. There was an order telling the public buses not to move at night. The order was overturned. The call to stop corruption. Till today, somebody somewhere is till corrupting.
Is the present Prime Ministerâs website any good ? Millions of Malaysians write in; each their own individual complaints. Can the P.M. do anything ? Nothing is the answer because making this one happy will make that one unhappy. It is a human nature. In the end, the employees in the Prime Minister department can only read the complaints, keep quiet, pretend they never exist and thatâs it.

kalau memang gaji rm100 sebulan.. nak bahagi2 berapa kali dalam sebulan pun.. jumlah tetap rm100 bukanya boleh berubah jadi banyak. ada ke patut, idea gaji diberi dua kali sebulan boleh mengurangkan beban rakyat. tak masuk akal. diorg ini pandai matematik ke?. kalau tak pandai biar saya ajarrrr…. rm50 x 2(kali sebulan)= rm100… rm100x1 = rm100..
kalau orang kaya dan bergaji besar lain la.. 5 bulan gaji kami baru sama dengan sebualan gaji mereka.. diorg ni mana faham dengan kami yang gaji kecil.

My question is, why the gov’t always tell the public that they dont have enough money for this and that?
The recent gov’t like what you have mentioned there “the Government has announced it would continue to pay salaries once a month” but before that they promised to pay twice right?
It makes the public feel curious why the gov’t is playing this kind of nonsense joke with us. Like at first warm our heart up then within a second, splash us with cold water. Thats kind of joke isnt funny at all/entertain.
It also happened on the price of oil last month, at first Pak Lah announced that there wont be any rise of petrol’s prices here but what happened on the next days?
The same thing also happened to the contruction of bridge replacing the causeway of singapore and Johor.
These things, let me feel very curious and wondering about the quality of our current leader, Pak Lah. Even a 17year old girl like me could sensed that, what about others and especially those foreigners?

Firstly , the issue discussed over here is how weak is the government in doing proper planning before implementing a thing.It’s not about sin or whatever you may call it.

The federal government is making a rush suggestion in that salaries for Government servants would be paid twice a month. Now the Government has announced it would continue to pay salaries once a month. The situation is due to the angered civil servant.
It is a good thing that the federal government did not change it. It was just a suggestion only anyway.

Kita mendengar mengenai hal kenaikkan gaji kakitangan awam (kerajaan) sememangnya memberangsangkan kepada mereka. Tapi bagaimanakah pula halnya rakyat yg lain yg berkerja dalam sektor swasta? Had gaji siling tidak dinaikkan dan nasib kami tetap begitu jugak. Sekarang ini kerajaan membenarkan pula kakitangannya berniaga. Kakitangan kerajaan ini banyak pula dijaga sehinggakan membenarkan mereka menyekat periuk nasi orang yg hanya bergantung kepada hasil niaga sedangkan kakitangan kerajaan ini mempunyai gaji bulanan mereka. Adakah tindakan ini memberikan keadilan kepada rakyat yg tidak berkerja dengan kerajaan? Jawapan saya TIDAK. Mengapa mahu menyekat periuk nasi orang lain hanya kerana mahukan “orang-orang” kerajaan ini yg sememangnya tidak semuanya menyokong kerajaan dapat hidup senang? Bagaimanakah pula halnya kepada rakyat yg hanya bergantung kepada hasil jualan ini? Siapakah yg akan membantu mereka?

Langkah terbaik ialah melaksanakan penubuhan sebuah badan seperti MTEN yang telah berjaya membantu Kerajaan semasa berhadapan dengan krisis tahun 1997. Melalui MTEN, kerajaan akan dapat membuat keputusan yang tepat apabila satu-satu isu dibangkitkan kerana ada banyak kepala yang duduk bersama dan berbincang. Malahan ada kumpulan media yang membuat kenyataan-kenyataan penting dan perlu kepada rakyat.
Malangnya, Kerajaan kini tidak mahu mengikut konsep yang sama. Kenyataan dibuat untuk populariti tanpa meneydari bahawa kenyataan itu mukin akan makan diri. Inilah yang berlaku sekarang ini. Cakap dulu baru fikir kemudian. Flip. Flop.

Dear Dr.M. With due respect to you Tun Dr.M,my observation over the years on government administration and decision making, a flip flop is nothing new to me. It happens even during your reign. However the flip and flop decision during your reign were not made by you but by a few stupid ministers. For example the Home Ministry at that time. I cite an example like the decision on foreign workers. One moment the minister freeze on intake and in another short moment he relaxed the intake. This happens not once but not less than three times by the same Minister. It is their hobby to call a press conference after that and get cheap publicity to show off his power and to show the public that he is doing his work without thinking porperly on what he said and the outcome of his decision. In short he is just a stupid fool and a clown. I said this because whatever decisions made by our government not only observed by Malaysian but the whole world especially our very “friendly bloodbrother”neighbour who will laugh at us. Worst of all it will reflect on the entire government administration.
Unfortunately,the present government under Pak Lah has flip flop too often. Flip flop not only by ministers but also by himself. Flip flop has become too rampant. This indicates the decisions made has not been studied very thoroughly. Short sighted decision making. Short sighted decision makers are really stupid fools. They don’t deserve to sit there as ministers or Prime Minister because they have been entrusted to govern the nation. How come such fools could be there.
The only person I’ve seen and I believe most Malaysian will agree suitable to lead Malaysia is my dearest brother Tun Dr.M You are in so far the only incumbent who is capable to deal properly with most strain situation and you who know how to deal with uncompromising neghbours or even the BIG GUNS. In short you’ve got the GUTS unlike the present government a COWARDS.

Bila menteri yang buat keputusan, tentulah mereka tidak berani membuat keputusan yang berisiko dan berjangka panjang. Bila kesan baiknya tidak nampak serta merta…rakyat akan salahkan mereka.
Jadi…Org yang paling layak untuk buat keputusan Strategik dan jangka panjang ialah PM sendiri. Sekurang-kurangnya dalam keadaan tidak popular…Seseorang PM masih punya masa 4 tahun lebih untuk yakinkan rakyat. Jika Projek itu berjaya mengatasi masalah Rakyat…Semua orang akan terima walaupun pada peringkat awalnya mereka menentang. Seperti juga Projek Jambatan Pulau Pinang yang pertama dulu…Ramai yang menentang pada awalnya. Tapi selepas Dermaga Feri runtuh dan Jambatan itu satu-satunya alternative yang ada..maka suara-suara sumbang itu pun lenyap.
Keputusan penting dan Strategik..biarlah PM yang buat, jangan kerana takut tidak popular dan salah langkah…PM biarkan saja Menteri buat keputusan penting tanpa sebarang kawalan. Surely we all will get more on the flip flop decisions in short future or perhaps another 5 years? What good these decisions could bring to our nation? A good leader doesn’t mean he has to be right all the time but he definitely has to be right most of the time otherwise he can’t and shouldn’t lead at all because his leadership will only bring more harms than good to people.
Nobody in Malaysia could thus far replace you or even close to your excellent leadership Tun Dr. Mahathir. But what should we do now to get rid of the present weak government?

Actually some of us who’ve worked or working overseas understand why the flip-flopping moron said he wanted to pay salaries fortnightly since the petrol subsidies been cut..yadda..yadda
Most people on here and in Malaysia do not really know that One Year equals 52 weeks (not 48, as normal extrapolation will lead us to believe, since the ’31’ days/month aren’t accounted for)and if paid fortnightly or once every two weeks or twice a month, a said person will get a month’s pay extra compared to if said person is to be paid monthly.
Eg : MYR2000/Month. Split into fortnightly = MYR 1000/2 weeks. Now at 52 weeks, he/she gets MYR 26000/year. If paid a monthly salary as per the current norm, he/she gets MYR 24000/year. There’s a MYR2000 extra (or a month’s salary). Now, that’s why most companies (and even the Singapore Govt…)says that the workers shall get a ‘minimum’ One Month’s BONUS at the end of every fiscal year….! That One Month Bonus actually is a ‘salary’ and not a bonus…..
DSAAB most prolly thought he can swing/alleviate the rakyat’s woes by giving them extra per annum via this method, but lo and behold, the Flip-Flop mechanism by way of his adviser(s) would’ve intervened and reminded him that “…buat apa bayaq lebih kat rakyat tu… Depa tak tau apsal hang nak bagi 2 minggu sekali, baik tak payah…kita jimat sikit duit, nanti hang boleh upgrade pi Airbus A380..!…” and he subsequently shelved the plans and Flopped/reverted back to the normal monthly accrues.
Aircrafts were the first to utilize Flip Flop circuit boards in their on-board computers and in cars, for the auto gearbox niways, they’re called ‘Fuzzy-Logic’ (now in washing machines too..!). Basically, them Flip Flop/Fuzzy Logic circuits are very basic forms of ‘Artificial Intelligence’ that ‘decides’ on what optimum settings should be used in lieu of the pre-set ones by the user. In the case of DSAAB, he being the user does not even understand the ‘hardware’ in the first place, so, it’s of no surprise that he allows the mechanisms to ‘override’ him, anytime/anyplace/anywhere……!
I’m in China now and as I read the online news from NST/Utusan/Star, it’s quite demoralizing to read that MY is rife with ‘drama’ that can actually make it onto HBO’s script-writer’s desk. Murder, Sodomy, Conspiracies…..all involving the nation’s leaders, and all involving politics. Sad, real sad.

Anak sdr sys pernah mengutarakan bgm nanti anak cucu beliau utk meneruskan kehidupan dibumi bertuah ini, tkt nanti jd seperti philipine, indonesia atau india…x ckp mkn, tido bwh jambatan, hidup merempat..alangkah sedihnye…anak muda yg baru berumur 24thn berfikiran seperti ini, bermakna beliau memikirkan long term….

When I discussed about what you bolgged on the economy, a friend of mine said that your enemies calimed that you do not allow dissent among your Cabinet. The truth is that they cannot match your keen intelligence – you reached a decison based on facts, while others based on “feelings”. You are proactive others reactive.
Reminds me of the time you warned investors about being to keen to invest in service companies – you rightly pointed out that the productive (industrial and agri-based industry is also important).
Again, you are proven right: democracy ala the west is not a suitable model for Malaysia! Look at the imported model of democracy in Iraq. It seems a contradiction – I fear for democracy when people abouse freedom. We will revert to Hobbs’ “state of nature” as in your article about the social contract.

4. Kalau TUN dapat bina EMPAYAR PETRONAS, Proton, bangunan KLCC, KL Tower, KLIA, LITAR SEPANG, bangunan pentadbiran PUTRAJAYA, PICC, LIMA, STAR dan PUTRA LRT (sekarang kepunyaan RAPID), MONOREL dan bermacam lagi yang boleh disebut dan tulis di sini dalam 22 tahun pentadbiran.
5. Tiada satu pun yang saya boleh tulis hasil perbelanjaan Pak Lah dalam 5 tahun.
6. Setelah kesilapan demi kesilapan yang dilakukan oleh pentadbiran kerajaan sekarang, tibalah masanya Pak Lah letak jawatan.

I just hope the powers that be read your blog. You were too modest when you said that you are not an economist. Even the IMF and world renown economists acknowledge you as a “sifu” when it comes to economics.
The problem with the present administration is not because it is a “flip-flop” but just a “FLOP”. head in the sand approach can be seen by the assurance given by AAB.
DSAI is up to his old tricks (accusing the government of trying to poison him, affecting him with aids, beating him to near death: what a theatric performance, he is innocent etc), etc- it seems that both parties are using the same tactics. His supporters are blind to this fact – please be sensible. As for DSAI’s international supporters – what do you expect: sodomy is not a crime there and of course there are same sex marraiges!!! I wonder how same sex male couples perform their “conjugal” duties!
DSAI has nothing to say about the report against him except blaming others. I wonder why there are no fair minded person to defend the hapless victim (Saiful – imagine DSAI has 4 powerful lawyers vs no one for Saiful – Karpal Singh should represent him; but he preferred a Mongolian, not a Malay!), just like there are no fair minded persons to defend the first victim who is just a driver!!! As a predator, DSAI sure knows how to pick his victim.
Again, I would like to commend you on the excellent economic analysis and observations concerning the present government.

The indecisive action by the Government; the battle of the ministers for the purpose of taking each other down; still are not going to solve anything and this worsens the situation. We the people are witnessing the biggest drama in the history of Malaysia’s politic scenario. It’s sad.
The flip-flop of the Government in giving the salary to the government workers, for my opinion, is not going to solve their financial situation. The government can help them in managing their financial and spendings wiser.

Puting LEDS at the colector’s output, making it emit blinking lights. My small little girl enjoy the sight of it. The circuit can also be build using 555 timer Integrated Circuit. The circuit plays important roles in computer operation. You need to study Boolen Algebra to analyse it.

Yes, our PM is known to be flip flop PM. But part of the reasons why we have the current government is because you “Tun” does not groom potential leaders to inherit the tradition of excellency. Without good leaders, we are always in flip flop situation. Besides all the good things that you have done, one of the biggest mistakes on your side is not grooming “future PM” (of course Anwar case is one of it). As a result, we are experiencing “vacuum” in quality goverment. We need good leader/PM for better Malaysia.

Dear Tun,
This is a reflection of gross laziness on the part of Pak Lah to really take pain to study in-depth the implication of whatever policies the government put forward to the rakyat before making any official announcement. A good example of Pak Lah’s unforgivable diplomatic boo-boo was by instructing Azmi to go to China to apologise personally to the Chinese government regarding the case of a Chinese citizen woman being ill-treated inside the police lock up. What an embarrassing diplomatic move he had done when it was found later that the woman was actually a Malaysian. I think he is rather too relax and feel good all the time. HE IS A DREAMER. If this flip flop decisions continue to be the norm I think Pak Lah is just not fit at all to be our Prime Minister anymore. He should resign. Another simple reason for this flip flop is because Pak Lah always depends too much on his official and “backdoor” advisors to feed him with all the “raw” information available at his disposal without being able to digest intelligently to find the best option to act accordingly, without being continuously caught in a flip flop action.
I think at his age Pak Lah’s mental absorbtion of what is happening surrouding him has already reached the peak and is fast becoming saturated and declining.This is especially true when you look at him physically. He looks very fragile and SLEEPY !!

I have really no confidence whatsoever in what the government do now.I dare to bet that the next flip flop issue is the cancellation of government function in hotels.
As mentioned by Datuk Seri Azalina Othman, the cancellation of government event in hotels are hurting the hoteliers.Now they are making noice and as usual , the government will tackle every issue that was arised. Common AAB , what is your stand and strategy right now ? This is a proof that reducing the fuel subsidy action was taken whithout thinking on the whole macro economy.The windfall tax implementation on small and medium company may also been review as brought up by Dato Muhiydin ( Sorry , If I spell out incorrectly ). This will be another flip and flop decision by the governmnet.
The purpose of reviewing and rearranging the fuel subsidy as claimed was to direct the subsidy to the one who needed more. This is not happening at all. The rebate of Rm 625 to a limited of 5 cars clearly subsidying the reach people more as they would get a maximum of Rm 3125 !
Now the hoteliers and supplier make noise and also the small and medium company.I will sure the government will submit to their request as they provide the government income . However , are the hoteliers and businessman are feeling the crunch of the increase in the cost or living more or the wage earner which form the majority of the population. What is the rationale of rearranging the fuel subsidy is about then ? What is the objective as claimed by the government.All total bullshit. They only care on their own interest only.

When the announcement first came about the double half-pay arrangements for govt servants, i was thinking to myself what does it tell us about its benefit.
1) Does it mean that if you pay once per month the money will dry up faster? That means we look down upon the govt servants as bad financial planners.
2) Does it mean that if you pay it in 2 parts they will have more money? Certainly not, it is just the same in the end. So it must mean that they run out faster at the end of the month and have to wait for the half point to get the other half. This means just telling them not to spend so much at one go.
Point is, they are almost dry. They have debts and loans to pay. Some even go to loan sharks. They are mostly on credit living. Cars, houses, education for kids, self-education, leisure, etc, etc.
I think why the flop happens is because the cost to implement is higher than the present system of paying just once. Obviously you have to change the payroll system and the printing of slips and statements and reconcilation. It will be a nightmare. I know because i was a payroll programmer before. A sudden change is a nightmare.
But the clear flop sound of it is when the PM who first announced it did not come clean when the flop was reannounced. I dont think it was him that announced the flop on prime time TV as when he flipped. The quiet allowance of flops is not leadership.
During the previous PM days, he confronted crises head-on, research till the ends of the earth and made the most blantant statements that can be and stand by them. Either the world goes or Dr. Mahathir goes. He did braved the storms of 1997 for us and today we are all still standing, Pak Lah and co included.
The least we can do is ask Dr. M to rejoin the cabinet as a senior minister and make the necessary surgery room changes. Hope he has the best ansthesia when he cuts the head off.

Why Pak Lah flip-flops more? Always do the tactical and not the fundamental decisions?
Why does it matter who flips and flops the most? Pak Lah is politician, its what he does.
The larger issue that we must face here is that there is a time when it makes good sense for a leader to change his mind, for the good of the country, based on a change in the environment. And then again there are times when changing your decision shows your innermost character. The Malaysian people should take note. Flip-flops will rattle the confidence of both foreign and local investors. If it can happen today, what is there to assure that it will not happen again?

Saya dah lama mengikuti perkembangan blog chedet tapi belum berkesempatan untuk menyatakan pandangan, cadangan dan komen dan ini adalah kali pertama saya membuat komen.
Semenjak Pak Lah memegang jawatan PM pelbagai pihak membuat perbandingan dan spekulasi cara pemerintahan Che Det dan Pak Lah. Pada zaman Che Det setiap spekulasi buruk bertukar menjadi sebaliknya manakala Pak Lah spekulasi menjadi nyata. Janji Che Det pada rakyat hampir kesemuanya dipenuhi manakala Pak Lah janji tinggal janji dan menjadi dendam serta benci. Setiap program, kempen dan aktiviti yang cuba dilakukan oleh Pak Lah semua menjurus kepada spekulasi menjadi nyata. Che Det sudah keluar dari UMNO bagaimana untuk Che Det untuk memulihkan kembali UMNO/melayu dengan program, kempen, strategi dan pemikiran kreatif Che Det yang begitu brilliant yang mana orang lain tidak mungkin dapat melihat dari segi jangka pendek dan jangka panjang.
Saya amat berharap supaya Che Det dapat memberi kami harapan dan tindakan supaya rakyat nampak apa yang sepatutnya mereka lakukan untuk mengembalikan suasana politik yang ditadbir urus dengan berkesan semasa pemerintahan Che Det. I’m afraid at the end the people of our beloved country will suffer and this would lead to instability our country. The problem now is, who would be able to lead all of us. We’re in need of a true leader now, not someone who do things other people tell him to do, not someone who using press for their own interest, not someone who want to make a comeback into politics after being out of prison nor the one who had lot of scandals and certainly not the “Kami Sokong” type.
We’re so fortunate to have you during the Asian currency crisis, if not for you sound and stern decision most certainly we’re now in the grip of foreigners. Although selfish as it may sound but the country really need your wisdom now more then ever.
Please tell the leaders of today that they need to reconcile their differences be it with you, within party or with other party. One more thing, please tell them to listen to you. Majority people of M’sian had endorsed your leadership ability. So please tell them to listen to what you had to say or else we’re afraid that the Government would again make flip flop decisions.

Perkara yang kecil macam tu pun tak boleh handle dengan teliti. Inikan pula masalah ekonomi negara. Sebelum buat pengumuman nak bayar gaji 2 kali sebulan tu, tak boleh ker diaorang survey dulu…untuk memastikan perlakasanaan itu dipersetujui oleh penjawat awam atau tidak. Ini tidak, dah umum…lepas tu orang kata tak suka, umumkan pula tak jadi. Nampak sangat keputusan yang dibuat kerajaan sekarang ni bukan hasil dari musyawarah, tapi ikut sedap sendiri saja. Mungkin juga ikut kata tuan-tuan penasihat yang sebenarnya langsung tidak menjalankan kerja dengan teliti. Hentam kromo saja..
Memang saya dah hilang keyakinan dengan sebarang keputusan yang dibuat kerajaan sekarang. Lagi banyak flip-flop, lagi hilang keyakinan rakyat pada kerajaan yang menerajui pentadbiran negara. Jangan ingat perkara kecil rakyat pandang remeh, tapi sebab perkara kecil inilah, hilang terus keyakinan. Kalau perkara kecil tak boleh nak handle, apa lagi perkara yang besar-besar…contohnya dah banyak yang kita nampak sebelum ini. Isu jambatan bengkok pun sama. Ishhhh…dah muakkkk lah!!!

Previously the govt announce to cut ministers entertainment allowance 10%, but now increasing the allowance for JUSA. How can this be? They should increase the allowance for those at lower scheme, as those who are really affected by the petrol price increase. The JUSA is not the group affected by the petrol hike, but now given increment for the entertainment allowance.. So much for the perbelanjaan berhemah..

I truly wonder what all the religious knowledge had taught him.
He is a liar and an unfaithful human being(no doubt about that), he’s more lazy than the 10 PWD guys who waste 8-hours to replace a leaking waterpipe, he’s late for almost every function unless good looking bimbos are also invited, he doesn’t give a damn about what is happening to fellow Muslims in Palestine/Iraq/Afghanistan n etc and he is on holiday while pretending to be the Prime Minister of Malaysia.

As you are one with years and years of experience, I would like to ask you, TDM, in the government, isn’t there a body or committee who sits down and fully discuss on the motions that they are going to propose in the parliament? Because it’s like you said, one day it’s flip and the other flop. This makes me feel that there’s lack of research on the part of the government as they have failed to monitor the changes of the oil price (which now the people have to pay dearly for). And it looks like any motion they propose are things that first pop up in their mind. Thus making them look flimsy and ultimately weak.
Is everybody busy politicking with one another that there’s no one running the country?
Tun, i wish to highlight to all regarding your wise comment on “oil speculation” yesterday, and all of us here would like to tell you that we really really miss this kind of “call” by the leader of the country. Ever since your absent from the government, we rarely heard about such comment from our leader, and most issues were left uncontested / uncommented / un-critisized , eventually left sinking into the deep ocean. With regards to Tunâs latest mention on the present gloomy US economic state, Tun did mention that the US may resort to something illegal in order to save themselves from the impending downfall, which I am certain would surpass the magnitude of the 1929 Wall Street crash. This something illegal I reckon maybe by way of going to war with Iran. (?). The US would stand to gain more in the long term as opposed to its short term losses (however incredible it may be) that may arise from this move. If the US has begun asking farmers in North Dakota to dig up their backyards in search for oil, it wonât be long before Uncle Sam mounts up the missiles for Tehran. This Uncle Sam is also responsible for getting more than 1 Million killed in their âWar on Terrorâ in Iraq, the very same Uncle Sam who had been made famous by their torture techniques in Guantanamo Bay and Abu Ghraib POW prison, the same Uncle Sam who had tore and defaced the pages of the holy al-Quran in Abu Ghraib POW Prison. Lets not forget the images of Iraqi prisoners being tortured and sexually humiliated by US troops at the Abu Ghraib prison near Baghdad. The photographs, which show American soldiersâmen and womenâsmiling, laughing or giving thumbs-up signs alongside naked Iraqi prisoners, expose the sadistic and brutal methods employed by American forces and provide more evidence of the catalog of war crimes being committed by US-led forces in Iraq. One of the pictures shows an Iraqi prisoner standing on a box with a hood over his head. Electric wires are attached to his hands. He was told that if he fell off the box he would be electrocuted. Another photograph is of naked male detainees stacked in a pyramid shape, one of the men has a religious slur written on his skin in English. In some pictures, prisoners are positioned to simulate sex with each other while US troops point and laugh. Its the same Uncle Sam that just a few days ago had warned Malaysia not to investigate or prosecute Anwar Ibrahim for his alleged latest sodomy charges. I am certain we can all draw our own conclusion on this. I believe America would resort to all sorts of tactics both legal and otherwise to ensure its survivability and the continual existence of the Jewish-Agenda. All this would greatly have impact on the worldâs economy. In the 1997 economic crisis we slept soundly at night as though nothing was really happening around us because we know that we had the best economic mind at the helm. Like pulling a warm blanket on a cold Sunday morning, we were secured knowing that Ayahanda Tun was in-charge of the country then. However, itâs not the same anymore today and no amount of blanket could make us cozy for long in this climate.

Salam Tun…Kita dah mual dengar flip flop kerajaan Pak Lah. Dan ia nya pasti akan berlaku lagi selagi kita semua rakyat tidak sebulat suara menjatuhkan pimpinan beliau. Terkini, saya curiga dengan Anwar Ibrahim. Adakah US telah banyak membiayai beliau dan adakah beliau bekerja untuk US? tatkala Anwar Ibrahim dihadapi dengan tuduhan liwat, US lantang bersuara cuba mempertahankan beliau. Seolah olah US takut Anwar tak dapat jadi PM. Kita rakyat harus berhati hati dalam percaturan ini. Jika benar dan kelihatan nya seperti Anwar ini orang suruhan US.

Ini yg saya memang kesalkan. Malah ucapan terima kasih presiden cuepacs kpd paklah pun saya tak tahu apakah kewajarannya. Benda semudah itu paklah tidak boleh berfikir. Menambahkan kekerapan pembayaran gaji tanpa meningkatkat gaji adalah satu perkerjaan sia-sia kerana meningkatkan kos kepada kerajaan dan juga pekerja.
Semasa mengumumkannya, paklah telah mengarahkan ianya dilaksanakan bermula haji Ogos. Tetapi sesudah di tentang beberapa pihak..muncul beberapa menteri yg mengatakan itu baru cadangan. Saya hanya menggelengkan kepala. Paklah berkata akan membantu cash flow kakitangan kerajaan. Bagi saya, paklah tak faham apa yg penting bila kita berkata tentang cash flow. Kita mementingkan net cash flow…bukannya kekerapan cash flow yg menghasilkan nilai yg sama…
Itulah tahap keupayaan pembuatan keputusan PM kita…malangnya!!!

You’re right about flip-flop. I’m guessing that some how the ‘internal’ organization is quite good at opposing some of ‘their’ views and managed to turn it around. It’s just poor management skill and little desire to study the process in details that makes this flip-flop apparent.

Since post PRU12, issues are dealt with on a piece-meal basis!
And as evidenced now, can confuse the rakyat more. Its a FLIP FLOP!
Three months after PRU12, I can’t see enough coming to the rakyat!
