A LAWLESS WORLD

This article originally appeared in the New Sunday Times, Nov 11, 2012

1.I don’t know whether it has been reported in Malaysian papers but the Israelis bombed an arms factory in Khartoum two weeks ago. This outrageous act is an example of Israeli disregard for international laws.

2.There is no war declared between Sudan and Israel. But that does not prevent Israel from bombing Sudan. As with the bombings of the Egyptian Airbase, Iraqi nuclear facilities, again without war being declared Israel feels entitled to bomb other countries in the pursuit of its own security. That the very real possibility of being bombed by Israel creates insecurity for other countries did not matter. Only Israeli security counts.

3.Israel alleges that arms were being supplied to the Palestinian, probably from Sudan. Whether that is true or not the fact remains that Israel itself is being supplied with all kinds of sophisticated weapons by the United States and Europe to be used as Israel thinks fit. Israel’s receipt of arms from foreign countries for its already powerful military forces is legitimate but the Palestinians may not receive arms to defend themselves so that the balance of terror must always be with Israel.

4.It even has nuclear weapons. Israeli military power obviously creates insecurity and terrifies the Arab countries. This is especially so as Israel has no compunction regarding bombing its neighbours at any time.

5.To ensure Israeli security, the powers that be allows Israel to break all international laws and norms of behaviour. Israeli navy illegally blockades Gaza, attacking relief ships in international waters and killing relief workers. An Israeli tractor deliberately ran over an American girl because she tried to stop the destruction of a Palestinian house. Israeli forces regularly fire rockets at Palestinians, Israel builds settlements on Palestinian land and erect high walls through Palestinian villages so as to cut off communications between Palestinian families.

6.Never in the history of nations has there been such a country as Israel. It disregards laws and its courts uphold criminal acts by its soldiers. It indulges in aggression and pre-emptive strikes without justification.

7.The world has to put up with Israeli lawlessness because it controls the most powerful nation in the world. Every candidate for Presidency or Congress must first declare support for Israel or lose their election.

8.It is as if criminals control and direct the police. There can be no security for people when the police take orders and sides with the criminals.

9.Modern civilisation is a mockery when a state such as Israel can do just what it likes against other countries. But then its minions do the same. They think nothing of assassinating people residing in other countries. They disposed off the bodies of their victims any way they like.

10.While mouthing pious words about freedom and the rule of law they apply sanctions against countries without approval of the United Nations. They believe they are justified in killing 500,000 children through sanctions in the pursuit of their Israel-inspired international policy.

11.When they apply sanctions against a country they force other countries to do the same. Failure to do so would be followed by threats to destroy the country’s economy and finances.

12. About any scientific discovery would be applied towards developing ever more fiendish weapons. The latest is based on the advances in remote controls. UAV or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles are used for assassination of individuals, bombing villages and spying.

13.Their marines are dropped into foreign countries to carry out attacks and assassinations. Leaders of unfriendly countries would be killed through contrived accidents.

14. We are really living in a lawless world, a primitive world. It is almost as if barbarians are again at the door. Only this time the barbarians are more powerful because they are well educated.

15. Despite all the praise for modern civilisation and the accompanying humanitarianism and human rights, we are not free to do what we like. We can only do what is advocated by the powerful. If they don’t invade us they would still finance more or less openly to put their candidates in power. They make no effort to hide the desire to achieve regime change so as to have only submissive leaders in place.

16. The law of the jungle govern us now – the law by which the strong will take what they will and the weak will surrender what they must.

17. At the centre of this collapse of human civilisation is Israel, the Frankenstein monster state created by the West which they must now obey unquestioningly.

18. Unfortunately there is no way for us to return to civilisation, to feel secure, to be free of political and economic oppression. This is because there is no one willing or capable of challenging the bully, the most powerful but least humane nation in the world.

I was active on some major Opposition Blogs not too long ago. I was showered with all the obscenities, the profanities and the vulgarities anyone could imagine. Then, I duelled with them up to nearly 90 comments on a subject which these Bloggers knew very little about eg. the award of a doctorate to Datin Seri Rosmah, the wife of our distinguished Prime Minister, by Curtin University, Perth.

They lost their arguments which were of no substance but vulgarity. In desperation, they even stole my name and put words into my mouth. ( I got the evidence ).

Through this episode of duelling, I discovered that the huge number of bloggers in the Opposition Blogs were fakes which were created by an employed fellow probably from the land of my hero, Mahatma Gandhi and most likely legally trained but deficient in general knowledge. I kept him up to 3 to 4 am. a couple of times.

I advised these Opposition Blogs to keep out all those obscenities, profanities and vulgarities, and they would be internationally recognised !

I am of the view that if the Blog is outstanding, the denizens of the World would discover it. No need to compete with the riff-raff. We are Malaysians.

Vote BN. All Malaysians. Do not be shy just because the Opposition Bloggers use profanities, obscenities and vulgarities to run down innocent people like me who do not compete with them for Putrajaya.

You are a wise, observant and intelligent person. The apparent ‘war lords’ of UMNO seem to upset some people. I myself have been treated likewise in my lifetime – I was scolded over 12 times by such persons, all with titles and they were all my friends. Recently, one warlord’s ‘side-kick’ jumped the queue at a railway station where I was buying a ticket.

I did not feel upset because I knew more about them than they knew me. Warlordism is only a sense perception and feel good feeling which is common to some people who actually are on the defensive with their negative complex.

Throughout my life, I liked to walk the streets, paid my utility bills etc etc and nearly bumped into Tun Mahathir and Tun Siti Hasmah twice at malls so that I could perceive on ground zero the sentiments of the folks as expressed in their faces and behaviour.

For example, when the Singapore Government said they have warm relations with Malaysia, the Immigration staff would be smiling at me and offer me sweets. But when the Singapore Government reported nasty things about Malaysia in their media, I would meet up with unsmiling and sullen faces at the checkpoints who would just threw my Immigration form like a paper arrow into the bin.

It is good to be Mr Nobody.

I even got attacked on this Blog for expressing the truth. And in all the Opposition Blogs I have been banned for saying the truth like defending Datin Seri Rosmah for accepting the doctorate from Curtin University. Perth. This gesture is the age-old practice by universities around the world since medieval times as an expression of their freedom or whatever. My college at the University awarded Li Ka Shing a Chinaman who does not speak or read English, a Fellowship and a complete outsider. No one complained because they were civil and understood the gesture.

This is the behaviour of ‘warlords’ and little lords. You have them all over the place. And many warlords in the Opposition too. These are the crypto types and not armed with power and money yet !

Quote Harry S Truman, ‘ The buck stops at my desk ‘. In other words, no one complained about warlords during Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s famous 22 year Administration of our beloved country.

Vote BN. All Malaysians be proud, stand tall and strong that our beloved Malaysia has been a runaway success as compared with Singapore under the one man rule of more than 50 years by Lee Kuan Yew. During this period our beloved Malaysia had 6 democratically elected Prime Ministers.

  3. Dear Tun,
Please allow me to reproduce the insightful exchange of personal emails between me and a good friend which I consider interesting to be shared publicly in this blog. The topic under discussion is
//berperang untuk menang bukan untuk dibelasah oleh Yahudi//

//amin, you are indeed wise. the examples of the prophet that you mentioned – is contextually appropriate for palestinians and the global muslim ummah. when you are weak, backward and poor, it is stupid to go looking for a fight with force of arms. if the palestinians had somebody like a gandhi or a mandela instead of the mufti of jerusalem, the super-powers support for zionism leading to the 1948 birth of israel would not have flourished to the point it has today, where western govts is prepared to turn a blind eye to injustices and state sponsored violence that clearly offends everything those govts believe and preach. when you act stupid, it is easy for your clever enemies to demonise you and make you appear less than human, and by extension, therefore undeserving of human rights. that has happened to the palestinians and is now happening to the global muslim population.

what did the beloved prophet s.a.w. do? did he go round banging on quraish doors that their breath smelled, their women have body odour and their cooking bad? no, he concentrated to preach to those nearest to him, and to those that sought to hear his message. when the momentum of interest started to rage and threaten the quraish status quo, there was a reaction. but did muhammad unsheathe his sword, invoke the angels to stand with him and strike at abu jahl and abu sufyan? no, he did not. he chose to send his best supporters out to Abyssinia and took flight himself. none of the heroic foolhardy suicide bomber heroism. as he build up strength, his tactics and approach change. that is not merely tactically opportunistic but ultimately wise. if you choose well where, when and how you fight, you will fight on your terms and your opponents superiority in terms of capacity for violence can be nullified. insyaAllah, the realisation will open up in the hearts, minds and eyes of not only palestinians in particular, but muslims in general.even the chinese bid their time – 200 years of having to put up with western nonsense – before reclaiming their place in world affairs. they assert their claim not because they are most populous (at one time, they had to accept that wretched kuomintang taiwan spoke for and represented the chinese people) but because they are the richest nation and the biggest lender to the world – so you arrogant and unrepentant creditors better take heed!

salam and regards, azmi.(Azmi Wan Hamzah, Tan Sri)//

The above is Tan Sri’s reply to my earlier email as below

    //Salam Tun,

  5. Tun,

Religion and belief is personal and it should be remain as such and the world will be a better place.
Think deep and hard what is the original cause?
    Is it because of religion??
    or
    Because of belief?
    or
    Just purely a untamed mind?
    or
    all three??
Don’t blame any side as “it takes two to tango”
It will end when both sides give each other respect
    or both sides collapse

A country without spelling out or shouting of its official religion is more peaceful. Why?

At least at the time of writing this comment, our beloved Malaysia has no Israeli rockets or bombs zapping down from us from the high heavens.

Thanks to the wise and experienced leadership of the BN as lead by the UMNO. We do it our Malaysian Way. We expect the BN Government to especially care for the lowest level of the income group as well.

The fact is that all sorts of alleged accusations and scandals have been thrown at this solid iconic institution, the UMNO, probably by detractors who benefitted much from its long record of service and contribution to our Malaysian Society since 1946.

The UMNO can only become better as a result of the eagerness of the Opposition to gain control of the Government in Putrajaya as soon as possible and at whatever the cost, like aping Lee Kuan Yew’s Singapore history of one-man rule for over 50 years. And over this same period, our beloved Malaysia had 6 democratically elected Prime Ministers by the Malaysian Way.

And further, I read in the Press today that the BN Government has taken the right and wise step in serving the populace at large who are under the pressure of inflation with rising prices of goods and services coupled to a slowing economy and also to ease their hardship which is beyond their control.

This is a moment of transition for all of us Malaysians and it is in the BN Government as led by the UMNO we trust.

And this important step to ensure the stability, harmony and prosperity of all Malaysians is the provision of micro-financing to the under-privileged Malaysians by the responsible agencies of the BN Government.

    Syabas !

This has come just at the right time in providing financial assistance of RM5,000 upwards to those in need who work hard daily to provide a living for themselves and their families.

In particular, the large population of hawkers, stall-holders, mom and pop shops, food and transport providers etc are right at the leading edge of our economy with all its political-socio-economic implications at the present time. As a frequent patron of their services, I could see the pressure of the rising food and energy prices and rental on these zero level workers who probably have no protection whatsoever from any severe downturn of the economy.

It is good for the BN Government under the leadership of the UMNO to do the needful for the lowest income group now.

Last but not least, the high cost of food for urban workers in urban areas is alleviated through the presence of this important group of provider of goods and cheaper food by manning our traditional hawker stalls in urban areas all over Malaysia. This is of paramount importance in keeping the cost of our daily food down for urban workers.

Hence, this far-sighted, wise and caring move by the BN Government for this large mass of self-employed provider of services, etc. as led by the UMNO is to be lauded by all.

But as always, the BN Government needs to up-date the laws, like the insolvency laws, in line with Australia and Singapore concomitant with this new socio-economic thrust so that we can proudly say we are on par with the rest of the world and the Government has no hangover afterwards.

Vote BN. All Malaysians. A caring and wise Government as led by the UMNO. You cannot ask for anything better and forget the fantasy dreams about foreign lands. The grass is always greener on the other side.

  8. malaysia pun lama2 jadilah macam nie…

ummat asyik berbalah jer…nak2 lagi time pilihanraya nie…ulamak/ustaz sepatutnya memandu pada penyatuan ummah, tapi ulamak parti kat malaysia menjadi agen perpecahan ummah…

    alahai palestine…

    malaysia masih lagi berdrama…

  10. Salam Tun,

I think the most important criteria for a normal everyday Joe Malaysian to select which party to vote into government is TRUST.

Any politician or political party who exhibits or allow themselves to be mistrusted by the voter will see their voter sailing away to another party.

And i’m afraid BN has simply lost the pubic trust. And we all know from experience that once a trust is lost, it takes aeons to recover, and sometimes it is never recovered at all.

For example, would you re-employ an ex-staff who was caught stealing and then dismissed ? This is perhaps something philosophical. And my own personal answer to that is a simple no. Once a thief always a thief. Once corrupt, always corrupt.

The only exception to this rule i would make is for a very young person or a child. For the rest, who are adults, i expect them to be responsible for their own actions.

It amazes me how such simple principle of trust is lost amongst UMNO members. It seems enriching themselves takes topmost priority to the extent of not caring at all for society and for others. How very sad.

    Thank You Tun

  11. Askm Tun. May Allah SWT bless we all in peace & good health.

To dtan …. Israel -Palestine issue is:

    1. NOT religious but humanity issue.
    2. NOT security but occupation issue.
    3. NOT self-defence but legalised thugry issue.
    4. NOT democratic but imposition of one’s values onto the weak/defenseless people issue.
    5. Realisation of “superior race” that belittle others with impunity through the protection of the only world super power dictated by Tel Aviv.

These are crystal clear but it is expected from people the like of you that have embedded hatred for Islam…

The article submitted by Ibnu Mukmin
    November 14, 2012

should reveal to you the answers you sought from Tun. However I truly believe that those points or any others for that matter, will not change your views that the faults is NOT the Israel’s but defenseless Palestinians’.

I do not hate you but I really pity you. May Allah SWT as our Creator, shine some lights into your heart to the right path and save you from fire of hell.

  12. Salam Tun,
I believe u have woke up early in the morning at this hour 🙂
Your views are all factual. Nothing can change it. God has created the most vulnerable persons at helm. The reason is basically to test men how best intellectual and inner drive of the gifted be used for the enhancement of faith and towards achieving blesses from God the Almighty.
Be it as it may, U have done everything u can to explain to the world about having to live in harmony with each other. They know that u r not alone. But till the day when the whistle is blown, we shall never wait and see, but do our best to uphold God’s true revelations to the mankind. I pray for your health and May God Bless u and ur family not for what u have done to yourself, ur family, our country or the world, but what u have sincerely given your inherent and infinite efforts and prayers to the betterment of the world order. Live in peace … Allah will definitely listen to our prayers and He is extremely so close to our ears, only men cannot defy. Wassalam…
    P/S : Thanks for everything 🙂

  13. As’kum Tun,

It is very sad to see my innocent fellow Muslim brothers and sisters in Palestine being killed by inhuman Israel. It is very humilating as billion of Muslims in the other part of the world could only see the killings without ability to prevent them from contineuing. This incident is actually a real lesson right in the Muslims eyes especially in Malaysia. Muslims will be weak if they keep on fighting againts each other.

    49. His case is not call for trial in the state court yet.

    50. Why?

    51. One stone 2 birds.

    52. No matter who they are or how well they are connected, if they are convicted and proved guilty, then they will have to stand trial in PRC.

    53. This would boost public confidence, investors’ confidence and political, economic and social stability for the next 10 years.

    54. Will Mr Bo be trialed?

Tun, it is true what is happening in US and Europe is a major financial crisis that will bring the world to the 2nd Depression next year. That is a fact. However the QE 2 or 3 that they are implementing, it will not bring any benefit because of one thing. US and Europe has NO Natural Resources. They have nothing to sell to other countries except for Apple I phones & Ipads (even that is made by China). They don’t have natural resources like Asia, we have rubber, oil, spices etc. The US and Europe had been robbing us (Asia) of all our natural resources for over 500 years and still it’s happening. It is just that now, the bubble has burst. Now the next question is how it will effect our Malaysian economy. We are still very much dependent on US and Europe market, most big companies in Malaysia that employs malaysians are from western countries… Dell, HP, Shell etc. I wonder what will happen to our economy if they plan to pull their investment out of here and in the name of giving job to their own people in their country, they may retrench Malaysians. Investment drops, Unemployment increases. What are we going to do? More BR1Malaysia?? and i don’t need to say about our countries national dept that comes up to almost 50% of our GDP. I would rather our leaders to plan and implement a back-up plan in order to avert this crisis when it hits us next year. Lets not have the mentality ‘ no, i won’t be affected’. coz we will be effected whether we want it or not…

    60. PEMANDU has the back-up plan to avoid Malaysia economy trapped into low income economy.

    That’s all, YAB

Please allow me to quote BBC News dated 17 Nov 2012

//Interior Minister Eli Yishai was quoted by Israel’s Haaretz newspaper as saying that the goal of the operation was “to send Gaza back to the Middle Ages. Only then will Israel be calm for 40 years”.//

  18. Assalamualaikum Tun,

I know it can be very disheartening looking at what Israel doing as it pleases with total disregard for international law. It seems we now live by the law of the jungle where the weak must becomes victims of the strong. Israel controls the world by virtue of it controlling the United States.

But we must never give up. We must continue to fight them and uphold for what is right.

It seems amazing how Israel with a population of only 7 million people can rule the world. Before Israel was formed, the Jews have are just immigrants, living on other peoples land. They have no country of their own. They started with nothing, now they rule the world, bombing any country as they like, killing and torturing innocent Palestinians, without any fear from anyone.

The problems plaguing Muslims today is not new and in mind opinion similar to the problems in the early days of Islam. Today, there is not a single Muslim country that is a superpower. In the early days of the Islam, the superpowers were also non-muslims, i.e the Roman and the Persian Empire. The Romans were pagans, whiles the Persian worshiped the Sun. In the early days of Islam, there was great division among the Arabs, just like today.

The Arabs of those time have many tribes and would often fight and kill each other. Their “assabiyah” are loyalty to ones tribe was very strong. They fight among themselves for generations to the extend the younger generations did not even know what was the cause of the fighting in the first place. Today, we see great fighting between Muslims in their own country like in Syria, Libya, etc.

In the early days of Islam, there not many Muslims. In the Badr war there was only 313 muslims against 10,000 musyrikins.

And yet, even by not being a superpower, even though they fight among themselves, with the arrival of Islam, the Muslims of yesterday was able to build one the greatest empires the world have ever seen.

Even with very strong Assabiyah, with the arrival of Islam, the Muslims were able to be united, irrespective of race or tribe under 1 caliph. It was said, that when the Portugis invaded Malacca, the caliph sent an army to aid the Muslim Malacca Sultanate.

Such is the Muslim way, an attack on one Muslim is an attack on ALL Muslims.

Even with very few Muslims, of only 313 Muslims, they were able to defeat and army of 10,000 musyrikins which was 10 times their number in the Badr war.

Why is it the early Muslims of long ago were faced with problems very similar to today’s Muslims but they were able to succeed where as Muslims today cannot?

The Muslims of today would often say we are divided, we are not a superpower, our army is small, that is why we cannot fight the US and Israel and defend Palestine. Can we really use this excuse during Judgement day?

The strength of Muslims of long ago came from Al-Quran and the As-Sunnah. Indeed, if a Muslim truly follow the Al-Quran and the As-Sunnah, would he fight and kill another Muslim from another tribe or country like we see in Muslim countries today? No. If a Muslim truly follow the Al-Quran and the As-Sunnah, would we allow Israel to kill innocent Palestinians? No. If a Muslim truly follow the Al-Quran and the As-Sunnah, would they become strong allies with the US, a strong supporter of Israel? No.

The answer to problems of today’s Muslims have already been solved by Muslims of long ago. The answer have and will always be for the Muslims to return back to the Al-Quran and As-Sunnah.

The current war between Israel and Palestine really put to the test for Muslim countries, especially those Muslim leaders that were elected during the Arab Spring. The Muslims must do everything in their power to defend and protect Palestine and its people.

Israel is now preparing ground troops to attack Palestine. I hope for once, the Muslim countries are united against this common enemy whether they are Egypt, Turkey, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Indonesia, etc.

The US, would know that Palestine is of great importance to Muslims around the world. We can already see Egyptians and other Arabs calling for jihad. The Muslim leaders must follow the will of their people and protect Palestine. It would be political suicide not following the will of the people.

It would not be in the US interest to be in the bad books of Muslim countries for its support of Israel at a time when it needs as many friends as it can get. There is also China and Russia which is sympathetic to the Palestinians cause.

Further, Israel had wanted Mit Romney to become President, and not Obama. Obama after winning the US Presidency for the 2nd term, have nothing to lose since a US President can only serve only 2 terms. Therefore I do hope Obama would use this opportunity to do what is right a call on Israel to back off

Israel is clearly the aggressor, not the Palestinians, having assassinated many Hamas leaders, not to mention innocent Palestinians.

Israel would do well to stand down and back off. Israel have created too many enemies for it to handle. To borrow the English phrase “Israel have painted itself into a corner”.

  19. Salam Tun,

    1. There is an obvious element of fear amongst BN/UMNO, also amongst government staff and public servants.

    2. The fear is of loosing political power, authority, jobs, and money. People hang on to the government and status quo for security and comfort.

    3. It shows how weak Malaysians have become, under BN rule. But it also shows how strong the opposition is, and the stronger Malaysians stand firm in their principles.

    4. It remains to be seen if the opposition strong is strong enough. Because in this country we follow majority rule, and i wish to note that majority did not do well in school, got most of their exam answers wrong, because they did not do their homework. These are the people who now hold key decision making positions, and of course they cannot make right and suitable decisions. This phenomena is widespread in all sectors and at all levels from Officers to CEOs.

    5. It is these majority who now rule us, and wants to impose their rules on us, the same rules which led to their failure to answer exam questions correctly. I will refrain from bringing the subject of Science and Maths into this equation.

    6. I think Malaysia can do a whole lot better if led by professionals who are masters in their own disciplines, and have compassionate hearts.

    7. It may not make the majority happy initially. They want easy life. They do not understand why we need to work hard and with discipline. But when the results show, they will be a lot happier. I am only afraid by that time, it is too late for them, for they have become old and ignorant, and have to learn much to catch up. In order words, they have to go back to school, which is a phobia because they did not do well in school in the first place, except for religious school of course.

    8. Could it be that mass education is the answer to the Malays dillema Tun ? Then we need to make it attractive and comfortable for the Malay society to learn, to go back to school, to acquire useful knowledge. I am sure there are lots of teachers. The same goes for religion, but religion has its own evolutionary track.

We will need very little laws to govern the land if people are well educated, we can then do away with all the stupid laws.

    Thank You Tun

  20. To dtan in particular.

    Salaam Tun,

The Muslims world at this time in history is undergoing a great transformantions and I sincerely hope that they are going in the right direction. As I said earlier, that the reasons for the weakness of the Arabs and the Muslims are mainly due to their wrong ways, mainly in the context of their understanding of Islam itself. Some of the Hadiths that you posted are actually not true and this is again bring confusions to Islam.

For your information, every knowledgeabe people will know that Islam had contributed tremendously to the shaping of this modern world with their share of the knowledge in philosophy, arts and the sciences which contributed to the Renaissance in Europe.

Coming to the problem between Israel and the Arab and Muslim world, we see that this has come about after the establishment of Zionism by the Jews who wanted to create a homeland for the world’s Jews. It is to be remembered that there were not more than 10% Jewish people in then Palestine some less than one hundred years ago and they were living in peace with each other until the Zionists came from all over the world. They came violently and started the war in the first place by taking the lands by all means, like cheatings and plundering. They started the whole thing in the first place and now they want to talk about who fire the first shot etc.

Many people whould say that the Arabs lost the war, but that is not true. The Arabs have lost some and most of the battles so far, but they have not lost the war. They are not going to remain stupid and divided forever. The war is still going on and at the end of the day I believe that the Jews are going to be defeated and they will take the world down with them. Very soon the West will turn against the Jews, unless they change their behaviours. The Christians have never shown any love towards the Jewish people in the past history and they will not do in the future too. The best way for the Jewish people is to ‘think’ of themselves as part of the Islamic world or part of the Middle East and stop being a tool for a’landing ground’ for the West in the middle of the Arab nations. Time, history and geography is on the side of the Arabs. Peace.

    Thank you Tun and all.

  21. Dear Tun,
Please allow me address Mr. dtan who requested for proof of Israel’s military strike.

//1. Please provide proof of alleged Israeli actions. I’m not saying they didn’t do it. I’m just not quite sure just as you surmise 9/11 may not be the act of Islamist’s//

    Dear Mr. dtan,
Please turn on BBC News. Israel is a gentleman bully. They showed video footage of how they tracked Ahmed AlJabari, Hamas military chief in Gaza and blew him up in a single guided missile strike in the street of Gaza. Israel herself provided all the proof you need because they want to show off their superior and modern air power technology. So, Mr. dtan don’t be childish and provocative and trying to belittle and insult Tun and at the same time expose your ignorance. I am appalled and saddened to read your comment of disliking muslims.

    amin tan

  22. Tun

In the whole wide world your Blog is unique to unblog the blogs. Maybe it is time to debunk the bunkums as dished out by the Opposition without factual support like confetti. The bunkums as follows :

    1. Malaysian Spring is coming like Arab Spring.

To the uninitiated, these words are very catchy but on deeper examination bear no factual meaning. For those who understand our history, Malaysia had the Malayan Spring as long ago as 1946 and the Malayan Union became aborted thanks to our Royal Sultans, the UMNO and the Malay patriots of the day otherwise it would be tough to have the Malaysian Spring now. As a result, only fellows from the land of my hero, Mahatma Gandhi and the well-endowed and well-fed Malaysian Chinese run around the streets of Kuala Lumpur even though the latter are the best treated in the whole wide world better than in Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China and the rest of the World, and should not be involved in other people’s causes like changing the Government in Putrajaya which has nothing to do with us and because the BN as led by the UMNO has always looked after our interests. Stupid !

The non-Malay members of the Opposition have already given up the senior posts of their proposed Government to the Malay members. See the fact. See the fiction. There is no difference between the BN and the Opposition. At least you know the truth with the BN as led by the UMNO and not the fiction as spewed forth by the Opposition.

Instead of staging scenic photogenic shoots for their financiers and the inquisitive paparazzi of the world, it is better if the Bersih-Bersih folks to go to Court if they have a case and not disclaim any mishap which might happen to the young and the old, the innocent and the not so innocent.

    2. Sex and Money Scandals.

We have the on-going trials of public servants in regulatory agencies in Singapore; we have the best General in the United States alleged by FBI to have broken the rules on sex and also, the second best General in the United States implicated; we have Bo Xhilai, an up and coming star of China expelled from the Party; we have the BBC ( a much respected and august propaganda set-up of the British ) most senior employees being involved in cover-ups of paedophilic activities for decades in the home of the Mother of all parliaments, illegal cash claims by members of parliaments, etc.etc.

As I have always said, if you have Man and you have Woman, you will have scandals. It is not normal not to have both, Man and Woman or we end up, like Man marrying Man, and Woman marrying Woman.

    3. Singapore is the paragon of good governance and meritocracy by Lee Kuan Yew and the Opposition will use this as the role model for our beloved Malaysia.

Hey! Hey! Hey! Have we forgotten this guy ruled Singapore with an iron fist with laws like the ISA which are still in existence ( No Malaysian squeak here ) for over 50 years, 1959-2012. He claimed to have made a few mistakes in 2010. Vide. New York Times. 2010. Which should include the following :-

    i) The use of investment as an instrument of foreign policy which resulted in the killing and maiming of innocent men, women and children, and sending Prime Ministers of friendly neighbouring countries into orbit like the Flying Dutchman. Vide. ASEAN Regional News.

ii) The loss of US$108 Billions ( RM250 Billions ) of her citizens’ Trust money in October 2008 on Wall Street. Vide. Channelnewsasia. Lee Kuan Yew. November. All Singaporean Blogs. 2009-2012. Financial Times London Gillian Tett ‘ Singapore Harvard Investment Model ‘. The Star. Seah Chiang Nee’s Column. Saturdays.

iii) The 2-child family Policy of the 1970s and the 1980s which led to the soon to be extinct Singaporean tribe and possibly the contravention of Clause 16 of the United Nation Universal Charter for Human Rights.

iv) The non-existence of humanity and multiculturalism has led to frictions at the lower strata level of society. Vide. Channelnewsasia. The Curry Smell Tribunal. 2011. The Toilet Fights. 2012.

    v) The perfunctory Judiciary System. Vide. Admiral Canaris was demeaned by Hitler by stripping him naked in a cell and then hung him naked with piano wires. The unfortunate and fortunate Mr Chee. Tan Koon Suan after being jailed 26 years ago was told by his then prosecutor of his unintended misfortune. etc. Woffles Wu. Shaw. etc.etc.

vi) The daily importation of 5,000 pigs, the contracts for flower nurseries, etc. etc. The sale of Kim Eng Securities to Maybank. etc.etc.

vii) Lee Kuan Yew ruled Singapore as a one-man rule for over 50 years. During this period, Malaysia had 6 Prime Ministers. Is this the wish of the Opposition ? And yet the above-mentioned are only some of his mistakes.

    viii) Miscellaneous

Vote BN. All Malaysians. Do not be hoodwinked by fly-by nite types who mislead you that the grass is greener on the other side. Vote BN as led by the UMNO and you would not be wrong.

  23. Salam Tun,

Don’t mind me but I’m not going to comment/say anything about ‘external matters’, as we’ve too many ‘internal matters’ that needed DSN’s immediate attention before he lost more states in GE13: –

    1. Stop AES immediately! Almost everyone who speaks of it are VERY ANGRY with the Govt, and has openly said that they wud show their displeasure in the ballot boxes…Moreover, we wud be THE FIRST (AND PERHAPS) THE ONLY COUNTRY IN THIS WORLD WHO ‘PRIVATIZED’ SUMMONING PUBLIC FOR SPEEDING ON A 70KM DOWNHILL ROAD IN AN HOUSING ESTATE!!!

    2. Talk about Putrajaya; When was the last time you’ve been around it? If you had not been around for a while, let me update you:- (a) ‘the Govt Quarters’ enclaves have turned into ‘Kampung Baru II’ less PATI inhibiting them with condition is worst than its brethren (as these civil servants were supposedly educated) with lawn left unkempt, rubbish left strewn indiscriminately, and motor vehicles parked indiscriminately and noisy to boot; (b) bus stops are mostly dark with rubbish bins filled to the brim; (c) guardrails into, around & about, and out of Putrajaya are either left missing, damaged, or dropped, and no one seemed to care; (d) all those nice eateries overlooking the lakes either being operated apathetically or just left closed notwithstanding these facilities were built to serve the public especially to those Tourists who came to view ‘the magnificent Putrajaya, the Govt’s Administrative Capital….”; and (e) 3/4 of shop-lots available are either empty or operated according to the Operators’ mood for that day…(and I wonder why?…)

    3. Nepotism and Cronyism: Pls run a simple check quickly on all GLCs and you’ll find that if he/she is not a Chinese or an Indian or a Punjabi or an Eurasians or a Sabahan or a Sarawkian, the Malay staffs are either related (mostly) or friends to the CEO or some top brass. And their “Vision & Mission” is “cover my backs”, and sometimes you wonder why these GLCs are losing public funds every time….

    Thank you, Tun!

  24. Dearest YAB Tun,

    1. You are right Tun. Now we are back to the Primitive World – “Zaman Batu”.

    2. Those who are physically strong (have the most powerful set of weapons) rule the world.

    3. Even in Malaysia, we have leaders who are being financed by the powerful nation so that we can be ruled through their candidates. If this happens, then we can say good bye to “Malaysia Merdeka” – kita akan balik ke zaman sebelum Merdeka.

    Thanks Tun.

*** May Allah SWT bless Tun and family ***

  25. Salam,

    Tun,

The time will come. It will not only one, but two men that will saves us all.

    InsyAllah

  26. Tun

On the ‘ Lawless World ‘, you have been mistaken as anti-Semitic. But a study of your life-long deeds and words will prove that this is not so and in fact, you are all for peace for all humankind in the whole wide world especially in our beloved country too. Jews and Zionism are 2 different things, like the Chinese and Communism. Your words were twisted and spun by powerful agencies set-up to do the job of denigrating your good deeds and your words.

For example, how the Malaysian public and the world have been brainwashed by the expose’ like the ‘ Malaysian Maverick ‘ by an author housed in the Institute of South East Asian Research, Singapore in 2010 after Singapore’s famed meritocratic pyramid with the smartest fellow on top lost US$108 Billions of her citizens’ Trust money in a jiffy in October 2008 on Wall Street. Vide Channelnewsasia. Lee Kuan Yew. November 2008. All Singaporean Blogs 2009-2012. Financial Times London April 2010.
Gillian Tett.’ Singapore’s Harvard Investment Model ‘. The Star. Seah Chiang Nee’s Column. Saturdays.

If the meritocratic pyramid with the smartest fellow at the top is really that meritocratic, Singapore should have invested all that money in gold bars at US$300 per oz. She would have controlled the world and the soft-under-belly of Malaysia.

Alas! This has now become a pipe-dream. However, a tiny attempt is now made by way of foreign ownership of a gold bullion smelter – gold would now be taken into account indirectly. Vide. Channelnewsasia. 16 November 2012. As it is said, ‘ A journey of a thousand lei begins with the first step.’ or playing catch-up.

She did not and has now imploded trying her best to sort out the demographics with the extinction of the Singaporean tribe, the key component of a viable State. By doing this, the deep fault lines against humanity and multiculturalism are exposed, giving rise to frictions between the inhabitants. Vide. Channelnewsasia. The Curry Smell Tribunal. 2011. The Toilet Fights. 2012. The Star. Seah Chiang Nee’s
    Column. Saturdays.

The reason why the Singaporeans are so mum about their official horrendous loss ( maybe much more if you take account into lost investment opportunities etc ) is that they fear the loss of international confidence and perception in their world class State after years of brain-washing the innocents of the world and innocent Malaysians from the Opposition ( some slaved for Singapore’s apparent beliefs a life-time ) with their brand of ‘ Bluffology ‘ or ‘ Bull-shit ‘ a word much used by the Malaysian riff-raff !

Hence, as alleged in the much revised book ( giving rise to doubts as to its authencity and professionalism ), ‘ The Malaysian Maverick ‘ that RM 100 Billions were lost over 22 years. If this is not for development expenditure, you would have lost it in one term, 5 years and not 22 years. And even so, you cannot beat the horrendous Singapore’s official loss
( unofficial would be definitely much more ) of US$108 Billions ( RM250 Billions ) of her citizens’ Trust money in a jiffy on Wall Street. We cannot put the latter down to development expenditure but only to speculation by the world’s finest meritocratic pyramid with the smartest fellow on top !

Tun, you were definitely not so stupid as to lose our citizens’ money wantonly like this even though we do not have a world class meritocratic pyramid to the consternation of some.

We are Malaysians. We, the Malaysian people, are humans and practise humanity and multiculturalism like the Royal Sultans of old and the present and the successive BN Governments.

Unlike you, Tun, who did the broad and bold strokes of your masterpieces and masterworks, I was only able to dot the i and cross the t in my own enigmatic way.

Since some of your Bloggers have a habit of running down another Blogger personally, with your permission, I release some information for their personal edification and to those who wonder why I strongly support the BN as led by the UMNO as follows:-

For ‘ Middle Ages ‘, if you live in your own house in Subang Jaya, then, you have benefitted at least 3 times from its value because this was one of my small contributions to our beloved Society and Malaysia in my own way. No more. No less.

All my Malay friends are independent and role models to all the Malaysians including those with household names – no crutches for any of them. They did not cheat or take advantage of others.

For ‘ WajaPerak ‘, I was awarded the Pingat Semangat Rimba ( National Scouts Association, Malaysia ). Also, I was appointed the only Asian ever so appointed, to be an Advisor to the world famous Smithsonian Institution, Washington DC.

For HBT456, my father when he was 32 years old founded Kuala Lumpur’s first Chinese Secondary School, the Confucian Secondary School, in 1906.
And I won a modest Bronze Medal for my beloved country in an event in the 1967 SEAP Games Bangkok.

Vote BN. All Malaysians do not be hoodwinked by false information to the detriment of our beloved country, Malaysia. Please realise we Malaysians do things the Malaysian Way and should not ape the World or Singapore ( Lee Kuan Yew ) You cannot do anything wrong by voting for the steadfast and dependable BN as led by the UMNO – solid as a rock.

  27. Salam Tun and fellow bloggers,

    1. Thank you again for not giving up hope to educate, to inform us, to remind us of the zionist devils.

    2. I can sense Tun’s concerns and fear of the zionists aggression which has no limits at all.

    3. Tun I presumed is angry because the whole world seems to allow this monster to terrorize humans who are not to their liking.

    4. Tun is angry because the big powers of the world are protecting the evil jews/israel.

    5. Tun is worried when scums like anwar is willing to bring the satanic jews to our door, because Tun can foresee the malays (muslims) becoming less pious muslims or maybe changing their faiths (its not impossible) — remember, anwar wants to pluralize Islam?

    6. some of the bloggers here (especially the malays)are trying to show their machoness, as though Tun’s concerns are something funny…to me, those non-muslim bloggers (except for mubarakchan or a few others) who showed less concern to Tun’s worriness of the jews, I can understand why. But when the muslim bloggers belittled Tun’s concerns about the jews aggression, this is so unbecoming. Or maybe these are anwar’s people in Tun’s blog.

    7. Actually we do not have to be muslims or non-muslims to condemn what the jews are doing – just be human beings! Only the hypocrites demand proofs and evidence and keep on denying the facts…I wonder where on earth are their consciences.

    8. These hypocrites, I wonder how they bring up (or had brought up) their children..to become like the jews? Not the good ones (there are a small portion who are good), but the kind of jews who believed in the protocols…that they are superiors and the rest are goyims. Mind you, these protocols are meant to destroy others!

    9. Allah wants us to do something to solve our problems…just like what Tun is doing…his words, actions have solved a lot of our problems – even though Tun had stopped being our PM, but he never stopped trying to help others, and he is not getting younger. But some of the younger people, especially those bloggers who belittled Tun are just ‘kaki sembang’ who are full of shit but no action to solve human kind problems. Criticizing Tun is easier right? where’s your maruah?

    10. Thank you for showing the real malay muslim’s attitudes and behaviors. You are my icon.

  28. Israelis terrorists. We should call them from now on..
Hence u r entitle to kill the jew bcause they are terrorist.
    Period

  29. Assalamualaikum w.b.t. Tun,

    1. What has happened to Sudan and is happening to Gaza showed how they have planned it all very well.

    2. They all happened in the midst of one government restructuring/changes. It seems like the attack on Gaza is an agreement/threat of somewhat (what they will do if B wins the presidency).

    3. People like dtan will somehow closes his eyes to the true terrorist acts and skilfully justify all of the actions. By ignoring the true facts and rechanting his karate master words of lies, he reminds me alot of the relation of ‘student-karate master’ of the black dojo in the karate kid movies. Rephrasing things out of context is another thing which amuse me, dtan better learn how to read the hadith right.

4.God forbid killing and oppression of any kind to innocence souls, Full Stop. To explain, it is not exclusive to Islam, Christian, Judaism, buddhism or any other religion. Dtan do need to recheck his logic, he sounds like a bully.

    5. You are right Tun, there is no Mr. Miyagi or karate kid beyond the tv screens but somehow these killings show the act of desperation that these terrorists are in as the UN starts to recognise the existence of Palestine. Its small but it is a start.

    6. We can’t really rely on the big guns in the UN, but I do trust there is good in most of the people of the world. The problems are, they have been fed with lies and hatred, and they are terrorised by the terrorist state of Israel.

    Thanks Tun.
    fbm

ps: May God grant peace and heaven to the children and people of Palestine who have lost their lives in the recent terrorist attack in Gaza, Amin.

  30. Dear Mr Mubarak Chan..
I am grateful that you are kind enough to contribute’s in Tun blog. However, I see thing’s different from your perspective.I believe many UMNO supreme warlord’s behave in thuggish manner like in “THE UNTOUCHABLES”..
This is my whole point of contention..
We adress whomever in the error by ‘dakwah’.
If anybody is good..well why not teach me?..
If both of us don’t quite grasp the matter at hand..Why?..
Don’t we seeks the expert in the field?..
If they behave like Israel’s..don’t blame me for our measured response’s..
Dtan have again showed his determined set of belief.
    We respond correspondingly..
He is of the firm belief that it is Israel that will last this ‘engagement’..How you have forgotten in Al Quran about Allah “..put out the fire every time Israel lit them?…:)”..
We goes through life by avoiding the pitfall of the history..
History need’s another 40 year for Israel..
    Just another 40..
    Terima kasih Tun..

  35. Salam Tun,

    Terima kasih,
    Emma

  36. Adhere to truth, for truth leads to good deeds and good deeds leads him who does them to paradise. Falsehood is wickedness and wickedness leads to hell.

  37. Tun

The pre-emptive strike in military parlance by Israel on a munitions factory in Sudan is just the manifestation of many illegal acts of war which are extensions of super-power world hegemony. These illegal wanton acts of war have taken place from time immemorial.

The list of such acts is long and could not be covered comprehensively due to the fact that some are covert and not publicised.

But Israel is part and parcel of the United States’ world hegemony. The more the United States is involved in the Middle East and Africa, the more armed incidents are bound to take place. With the absence of Russia from Africa, and the immense interest of China in the natural resources there, more and more clashes are bound to take place to the detriment of the progress of the nations and their peoples. Proxies would be used for greater effect.

These scenarios in the 21st century are just the replicas of the swashbuckling encounters between the Dutch, the English and the Portuguese in the East and West Indies in their long struggle for the control and command of the sea routes and the sources of produce.

As you rightly said, the most powerful takes all.

Our beloved country Malaysia has had a long period of peace, harmony and prosperity with the ending of the Communist insurgency war which tapered off by 1990. It is the skills and the know-how of our country’s diplomatic service which have guided us from the pitfalls of being ensnared in the more earth-shattering events of the globe.

We must always be friends with all as events become more and more volatile and unpredictable. We should always support international laws and conventions especially the United Nations and its many agencies. And to Malaysia’s credit, our troops are already serving in Lebanon and previously in the Congo, Somalia and Afghanistan.

As I mentioned before, Malaysia is the mother of all choke points because of its greater strategic geographic area, not Singapore’s Straits of Singapore. Because of the country’s importance in the interests of the super-powers, it pays to be friends with all even if a smaller rival or two might denigrate us privately to boost their own self-importance.

To the cognoscenti of world history, it would be surprising if Israel with all its might did not strike Sudan. And how the super-powers treat Iran remain to be revealed sooner or later.

Vote BN. All Malaysians for continuity in peace, harmony and prosperity as established by the BN led by UMNO in the wide wide world and be friends to all.

  38. Peace!

This is the forth time Israel attacked Sudan. The previous three attacks were carried in the Red Sea.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=–7GpjWmfsQ

Israel has been attacking her neighbours since 1948. Israel has has fought seven recognized wars and they claimed victory in all these wars.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wars_involving_Israel

Apart from these seven wars, Israel has been involved in a long list of major military operations, including against other countries.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_operations_conducted_by_the_Israel_Defense_Forces

Apart from wars and military operations, Israel had also involved in a ‘crazy’ military operation in another country’s airport to rescue her people.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Entebbe

Israel is a country which is capable to do impossible things.

I do not know how Sudan will retaliate. I am not a military expert but I think the only country which is capable to threat Israel is Iran.

What is Iran’s deadliest weapon which has caused concern in the west? It is just a small size high speed boats with missiles, not an expensive used French Scorpene submarine.

A war game simulation in 2002 proved that Iran is capable to defeat the US Navy.

    http://www.businessinsider.com/this-award-winning-british-speed-boat-may-be-irans-fiercest-weapon-against-the-us-navy-2012-8

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdFeNQtgOII

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ofmkikhAnA&feature=related

However, Iran is almost alone in preparing herself against a possible attack by Israel or America.

Even Malaysia went against Iran by halting the import of Iran’s oil.

    http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/03/23/us-malaysia-iran-crude-idUSBRE82M0CK20120323

If we are against Israel, we should then support Iran. If we are concern about our relationship with America, we should then forget about Iran, forget about Sudan, forget about the struggle of the Palestinian people and forget about criticizing Israel and America.

    Regards.

  39. Askm Tun. The message is crystal clear. It would be interesting to see anyone who can say otherwise except Mr Hannan who doesn’t want to become your friend anymore. Mr Hannan, we look forward to hear your expert comment, if your are still following this blog.

Israel may appear to have impunity for any international laws it broke but they obviously cannot escape the greatest and unimaginable punishment of Allah Almighty as clearly written in al-Quran. Let witness the present state of their great leader known as Sharon the “butcher of Lebanon” as a clear warning to their leaders, present & future, who are still harbouring their intention, because its power, continue to commit crime against humanity. Will they ever learnt? Definitely NO, if all along in history, they had defied God/Allah’s commands, why should they, believing as the “chosen people”, bow down to human kind? They were once prosecuted by the Nazis but have they ever learnt? No, insteads they turned on against the innocent Palestinians as revenge for their suffering in hands of the Nazis. Have they succeeded? They believe so. Will they ever feel secured? I don’t think so.

May Allah almighty give us, the Believers, all His protection & blessings.

  40. Salam Tun,

Thanks for being brave enough to expose the cruelties of the Jewish Regime. They really are “THE MODERN DAY NAZIS!”

They are inflicting upon the Palestinians now as what the Nazis did to them during WW2.

The only way we can counter them is to be knowledgable in the latest developments in science to enable us to develop own own weapons as a deterrent.

    PAShit

  41. Tun,

I’m enjoying your social political exegesis

    1. Please provide proof of alleged Israeli actions. I’m not saying they
didn’t do it. I’m just not quite sure just as you surmise 9/11 may not
    be the act of Islamist’s

    2. Those Islamist’s in Sudan are getting what they deserve. May the Lord
Almighty Bless whomever are teaching them a lesson for murdering their
their people Christians and Muslims in the hundreds of thousands. I hope
they also hit the headquarters of the Janjaweed. I hope Omar al-Bashir
stays up sleepless nights and realizes terror works both ways.

    3. The weapons (ak-47’s), rockets ( qassam, al-quds, rpgs etc) and suicide
bomb vests are strictly Palestinian defensive weapons? That’s like saying
that a Karate Master should not defend him/herself because they have
extraordinary skill against a bunch of thugs.

    4. Alleged Nukes, alleged compunction on bombings (Just like 9/11 is not
    an act of Islamists)

    5. I’m sorry Tun, you don’t like Israel defending herself. The blood of
Muslims are more precious just as it says in the hadith. The world will not
end until every rock is crying out. There is a Jew hiding behind me. Again,
Rachel Corrie and her family, i emphatize. The Lord rest her soul. She was
a pawn used by Islamist and continues to be used. Barriers are causing
suffering, so were the Intifada’s that were spilling daily blood. One is a
lesser evil than the other. Better Walls then dead people on either side.
The faster your negotiate peace. The faster the settlements issue will be
    resolved.

    6. History will proof, i believe. Islamofacist’s tried to establish a
Caliphate but one tiny winy country Israel. Held off the Gates of Hell
when a billion crazed fanatics tried to impose their Islamic Ethos on the
    rest of Civilization.

    7,….,18
I rather much prefer Western Enlightenment and Jewish Inventions than
a Mohammedan Caliphate. Technical, Scientific and the Arts, at least, recent
    innovations are non-islamic in nature.

    Shalom in Yeshua’s name

  42. Tun M and all,

No. 17 is the best. The whole truth and nothing but the truth.

As you said time and again. The Zionist rules the world by proxy, namely US and their many patners in crime.

The blood is in their hands.

They will suffer like Ariel Sharon. Neither live nor die. We are all going to die. We are all going to pay for what we have done.

    We love you, Sir.

  43. Dear Tun,

The below article is taken for Intelhub.

    By Stephen Lendman, Contributor
    theintelhub.com
    November 12, 2012

America does it in proxy wars and some direct ones. Israel waged war on Palestine since 1948.
Daily violence against innocent civilians persists largely below the radar. So does occupation harshness. Media scoundrels turn a blind eye.
In the week ending November 7 alone, Israel killed a Gaza civilian epileptic victim sufferer. Airstrikes killed two other Gazans.
In the West Bank Hares village, 12 civilians were attacked and wounded, including a child. Three attacks targeted Palestinian fishermen at sea.
Peaceful West Bank protesters were assaulted. Dozens were beaten and/or suffered from tear gas inhalation. Israeli security forces conducted 92 incursions into West Bank communities – an average of 13 a day.
They usually occur belligerently pre-dawn. Families are terrorized. Homes are ransacked. Property is damaged or destroyed. Adults and children are arrested, beaten, and detained.
Two incursions targeted Gazan communities. Five dozen arrests were made throughout Palestine, including five children and two women. One was the wife of Palestinian prisoner, Bassam al-Sa’di.
Several homes were demolished in ‘Anata and al-Tour neighborhoods. Tenders were issued for 1,200 new Pisgat Ze’ev and Ramot settlement housing units. They’ll be build on stolen Palestinian land.
EU Foreign Affairs/Security Policy head Catherine Ashton issued a pathetic statement. Doing so reflected Western contempt for Palestinian suffering.
Effectively she endorsed Israeli land theft. She called new construction “regrettable.” It’s lawless. She knows it but wouldn’t say.
Most important, she and EU leaders do nothing to stop it. Nor does Washington. They support it directly and by inaction.
Ashton added that new construction complicates peace efforts. In fact, none exist and never did. Israel and Washington won’t tolerate it. Officials like Ashton know but won’t explain.
She said nothing about Israel bombing and shelling Gaza. Reports that eight Israeli tanks and four armored bulldozers invaded the town of Abasan, east of Khan Younis, went unnoticed.
Smoke bombs and live ammunition were fired. Overhead Israeli drones were ready to attack. Civilians are targeted, killed or wounded. Incursions like this happen regularly. Western officials are silent. These are war crimes. Responsible officials commit them with impunity.
Gaza’s siege and blockade continues. Dozens of new West Bank checkpoints were established. About a dozen Palestinians were arrested at West Bank checkpoints, including four children and one woman.
Extremist settlers continue attacking Palestinians. They commit violence and vandalism with impunity. Other West Bank and East Jerusalem crimes against humanity were committed.
On Fridays, Bil’in village residents protest peacefully against Israel’s apartheid wall construction. It’s being built on stolen village land. An activist’s sign reads, “The occupation will not remove us from our land.”
On November 9, Israeli security forces attacked demonstrators. Tear gas and rubber bullets were used. Injuries were reported. An Italian activist was wounded.
Many residents suffered from tear gas inhalation. The Popular Committee Against the Wall and settlements issued a statement, saying its struggle against occupation harshness will continue.
On November 8, Haaretz contributor Roman Bronfman said:
“The forces of democracy in Israel must now to unite to fight the enemy within. That enemy is our own government, as a whole and in its components.”
“Anti-democratic legislation, inflammatory rhetoric, concentrated and anti-social economics and teaching racist and xenophobic – all are dangers to peace within Israel.”
Israeli Arabs and Jews for democracy must unite against dark internal forces threatening Israel, Palestine and regional security.
Bronfman urges support for candidates supporting real democracy. Netanyahu/Lieberman and likeminded extremists threaten it and humanity.
What kind of country bombs and shells innocent civilians? Israel does it often and much more. What kind of nations endorse Israeli crimes of war and against humanity? They do it overtly, through silence, and by not acting to stop it as international law demands.
On November 9, an explosion on Gaza’s Israeli border wounded four Israeli soldiers. Hamas and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine claimed responsibility. It followed earlier Israeli attacks.
On November 8, Israeli soldiers killed a Palestinian child. Multiple Israeli attacks occur before Palestinians respond. It’s their legitimate self-defense right.
Israel calls it terrorism. IDF attacks followed. Israeli tanks shelled Gaza. Four Palestinians were killed. At least another 30 were wounded. Ten are in serious condition.
Residents said a crowded mourning tent in the al-Shujaiyeh neighborhood near Gaza City was targeted. People there were paying respects to the family of a Palestinian killed by shell fire.
Israelis also targeted Khan Younis. Four injuries were reported. Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum said:
“The occupation’s targeting of civilians was a grave escalation that must not pass in silence. Resistance must be reinforced in order to block the aggression.”
The Popular Resistance Committees said it fired four rockets at communities close Gaza’s border with Israel. It referred to what it called “the revenge invoice” for Palestinian deaths.
Days earlier, Israeli soldiers shot and killed a Palestinian man. He threatened no one.
Defense Minister Ehud Barak said, “The IDF responded harshly to the incident and further action will be considered in the coming days. We will not tolerate any escalation along the border.”
He ignored Israel’s responsibility for initiating violence. He and other Israeli officials call it self-defense. It’s willful aggression. It’s cold-blooded murder.
As usual, The New York Times blamed Palestinian victims. On November 10, it headlined “Violence Surges on Israeli-Gaza Border,” saying:
“Palestinian militants fired an antitank missile on Saturday at an Israeli military jeep patrolling Israel’s border with Gaza.”
Israel returned fire. “Gaza militants then fired a barrage of rockets and mortar shells into southern Israel; one of the militants was killed by a return airstrike.”
A confrontational atmosphere “simmer(ed) for months,” said The Times. Hamas and other “militant” groups were blamed.
Ignored was over five years of lawless siege, the protracted humanitarian crisis, ordinary Palestinians defending their land, and Israeli belligerence responsibility for virtually all violent incidents.
Throughout decades of occupation harshness, Times reports are consistently pro-Israeli. Palestinian rights get short shrift. Other media scoundrels report the same way.
On November 11, Israeli bombing and shelling continued. Five more Palestinian deaths were reported. Others were wounded. Greater Israeli escalation is feared.
Weeks before Israel’s 2009 elections, Cast Lead was launched. Over 1,400 Gazans were killed. Around 5,000 were injured. Enormous damage was caused. Parts of Gaza remain barren. Broken lives aren’t the same.
Netanyahu may have Cast Lead 2.0 in mind. Stoking fear, talking tough, and attacking civilians called militants may be his reelection strategy.
It wouldn’t be the first time Israel waged aggressive war called self-defense. Targeting Gaza again is very possible and perhaps likely.
On November 11, Reuters headlined “Israel says ready to escalate as Hamas joins Gaza clashes,” saying:
    Israeli broadcasters quoted Netanyahu saying:
“The world needs to understand that Israel will not sit with arms crossed when faced by attempts to hurt us. And we are prepared to harshen the response.”
Netanyahu is a belligerent warmonger. He’s a world class thug. He menaces Israelis, Palestinians, and others regionally. He represents the worst of rogue governance. Anything ahead is possible with him in charge.
Palestinian activist Derek Graham told Press TV that Israel’s strategy is “slow genocide.” They intend to “wipe out the Palestinians.”
They’re doing it multiple ways. Illegal weapons and munitions are “used in civilian areas but Israelis use them with impunity. It is unjust and they are allowed to do this and get away with it because they have the Americans backing what they do.”
He also mentioned a recent UN report. It said Gaza will be unlivable by 2020. It’s practically that way now. Crippling siege and blockade causes enormous hardships. Enforcing it has nothing to do with security.
It’s about committing slow motion genocide. It’s been ongoing throughout Palestine for years. Nations able to stop it turn a blind eye. Gazans suffer most.
December 27 marks Cast Lead’s fourth anniversary. Missiles, bombs, shells, and illegal weapons caused mass slaughter and destruction. Parts of Gaza remain devastated.
Israel uses illegal weapons regularly. Densely populated areas are targeted. Toxic white phosphorous residue and depleted uranium contaminated large parts of Gaza. A spring 2012 International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health report said:
“Children with BD (birth defects) were born with higher frequency in families where one or both parents were under ‘white phosphorus’ attack, than in the general population.”
“Bombing of the family home and removal of the rubble were also frequently reported by couples with BD occurrence.”
In January 2010, the Baheth Center for Strategic & Palestinian Studies confirmed Israeli depleted uranium (DU) use, saying:
“The ruined buildings and debris left after the Israeli attack on Gaza are contaminated with depleted uranium and similar types of weapons.” London-based Palestinian Return Center activist Sameh Habeeb reported it.
Nuclear experts confirmed it. Contamination is permanent. Current and future generations will suffer enormously. Nothing is safe to eat or drink. Cancer and other diseases may become epidemic.
In May 2011, Press TV headlined “Cancer cases on the rise in Gaza,” saying:
Shifa Hospital is Gaza’s main healthcare provider. Doctors reported many more cancer patients. Norwegian physician volunteers said some victims have DU traces in their bodies.
Environmental damage and pollution are byproducts of war and continued conflict.
Post-Cast Lead readings show some Gazan areas are “1,000 times more radioactive than natural levels, and now cancer cases emerge on a daily basis.”
Affected patients live in mainly bombed areas. Others in Gaza are affected. DU munitions aerosolize on impact. Wind spreads toxic residue. Contaminated air, water and soil results.
Post-war cancer rates increased 30%. Expect continued escalation for many more years. Israel has no concern for human suffering.
Civilians are willfully targeted to inflict as much as possible. It’s official strategy in all violent attacks. Accountability is long overdue.
    A Final Comment
Beware of false flags. For months throughout the Syrian conflict, possible full-scale Western intervention loomed. It still does. Post-US elections, it’s more likely though not certain.
Easy to manufacture pretexts launch wars. America did it repeatedly for over a century. Most-recently, 9/11 initiated a belligerent holocaust. It continues unabated.
Syrian and Iranian regime change is longstanding US policy. All means are considered. War is the bottom line option when others fail.
On November 11, a stray mortar shell from Syria struck occupied Golan. No injuries were reported. A statement said Israel fired cross-border warning shots in response. It added:
“The IDF has filed a complaint through the UN forces operating in the area, stating that fire emanating from Syria into Israel will not be tolerated and shall be responded to with severity.”
Defense Secretary Ehud Barak said he expects Assad to fall, and “a new stage in the life of Syria will begin.” He left unsaid whether Israel will try to force him out. He warned Damascus that Israel would respond if shells hit Golan.
IDF head General Benny Gantz warned Israel’s Golan forces, saying: “This is a Syrian issue that could become our issue.”
Netanyahu said Israel is “closely monitoring what is happening on our border with Syria, and there too we are ready for any development.”
Earlier stray mortars also struck Golan. Israel knows they’re not intentional. Damascus is still held responsible. In January, Netanyahu faces reelection.
Anything he believes enhances his prospects is possible. He may decide it includes acting tough on Syria. The situation bears watching.

  44. Askm Tun, may Allah SWT bless us all with good health and others good virtues.

Again Tun have expressed a clear & simple writing for all people to really understand on issue of the current world lawlessness. I fully agree that the ONE to have caused the prevailing insecurity in this world is no other than ISRAEL who has the undivided support of the only super power, USA its powerful allies. As such, Israel has carried out many terrorist and barbaric acts to any country whom Israel deems to regard as a threat to its national security with impunity, without regards to any international laws.

Indeed, as you have correctly said ” Israel IS the Frankenstein monster state created by the West which they must now obey unquestioningly”.

So, what is the best solution? Since inter governments approach have failed and will more likely continue to fail in future, the global people power through NGOs, will be the best tools/weapon to defeat this monster.

As a Muslim, I believe the answer can be found in al-Quran and the defeat of Israel can only be done with united Muslims of the world. Obviously, Muslims/Islamic countries of the world have failed to heed Allah’s command as in 3:103 as an example. Ironically, this disunity among the Islamic countries also has been the work of the Israel and its USA allies with such skill of deceitful acts. Therefore, to all the Believers, praying for Allah SWT’s help will be currently the best way. However, sad to see that strong effort by Iran in confronting Israel, have not only received no support of the other Islamic countries but also Iran is being isolated for differences in religious views.

However, on positive side, this behaviour of Israel should further strengthen our faith in Allah SWT in the meaning of patience in going through such test in our belief and faith in the Almighty, as for those who read and fully understand the content of al-Quran will acknowledge.

May ALLAH SWT bless us all.

  45. Salaam Tun,

Much of what you just said are true.

At this time in history Israel is indeed in control of much of the policy of the United States government. But I believe that this will one day come to an end. Now we are beginning to see dissensions among the American politicians regarding the free tickets for Israel.

The Arab countries together with Iran should strengthen themselves with high technologies in weaponaries and beat the Jewish country at their game. Israel can only understand the language of force and power. That is why they are ruthless; they cannot be looked to be weak. So the Arabs have to make Israel REALLY weak in comparison with them.

    Thank you Tun.

  46. Salam Tun,

    1. Someone on the opposite side said of your counter remark to YB Nurul Izzah, “why dont he pick someomne his own size ?”

    2. I had a good time laughing, it seems pathetic for Dr. M to pick on tiny weeny Izzah to hit on.

    3. But people do not understand that magnitude of the remark she made is equivalent to magnitude 9 on the Richter Scale of Malay Politics.

    4. Is is utterly unthinkable for a Malay to have freedom. freedom of religion, freedom of choice freedom of our own free will to determine our way of life and our aspirations. It would go against anything and everything Malay, UMNO/BN ! have been trying to cultivate for 55 years !
    It is shocking !

    5. UMNO/BN would want Malays to remain in the prison of religion and Malay rule. If Malays are free, God forbid, it would be the end of the world !! Lol !

    Thank You Tun

  47. Salam Tun,

    1. Not my favourite subject, Israel, however i am game to comment on it. From my own following of this particular subject and incident, i am of the understanding that Syrian Civil War spilled over into Israel “territory” and this awoken the Israelis. I am also told that Isral and Sudan is oficially still at war, only under cease fire agreement by the UN.

    2. Therefore we can say that the Israelis in this instance is perhaps only reacting to the situation in their neighbouring country, and quite rightly so. What comes around goes around. However, i wish not to support Israel, for i do not support Judaism, or the concept of “chosen people”, but in this instance i am of the opinion Israel is not to be blamed entirely.

    3. Changing the subject a little, here is a story of a doctor turned comedian, a successsful muslim comedian, a rare comodity in the Islamic world, as muslims in general have no sense of humour. This good doctor however have the gift of being able to alter that, God bless him.

    Thank You Tun
