1. The great powers of the world have spent trillions of dollars to develop sophisticated weapons with improved killing power. They are sure that in a war they would be able to kill more of their enemies than their own warriors.
2. But as they produce newer and better weapons, their enemies come up with better defensive and offensive weapons. And more billions had to be spent to overcome the defence while new offensive weapons are invented, produced and deployed.
3. Already they are overjoyed with their capacities to wipe out whole cities and their inhabitants, including the babies who might grow up to become warriors.
4. The array of weapons is impressive. On the ground there would be tanks and armoured vehicles, rocket launchers and guided missiles of different ranges, radars and lasers and many others yet undisclosed.
5. In the air there would be a variety of war planes, some invisible to radar, equipped with rockets and missiles, manned and unmanned, drones, capable of taking out individuals or reducing to ashes whole towns. Satellites high above have eyes to detect ants moving on the ground, recognise faces with fantastic cameras.
6. At sea, new battleship carry all kinds of rockets, surface to surface, surface to air, short range, long range, invisible to radar, floating and submerged, manned and unmanned, nuclear powered and nuclear armed etc. etc.
7. They, the great powers are still researching, developing, training and arming, glorifying in their capacities to destroy their enemies and other collaterals.
8. More and more funds are allocated for upgrading the capacity to make this world uninhabitable by living creature. Each of these powers would be beating their chests like gorillas, roaring in their destructive and killing power. And still they would spend.
9. Then the enemy struck. The enemy had no weapons of any kind. But so powerful is the enemy that Kings and Presidents, Generals and strategists ran helter-skelter for refuge in their homes. They dare not come out.
10. All those powerful weapons afford them no protection. They are totally useless to protect their lives, their health and their wealth. Nowhere in the world can they be safe. They cannot even be near each other. They have to hide their beautiful faces behind masks. The ugly ones rejoiced.
11. And the enemy, which defeated these great powers cannot even be seen. They are so small that they can only be seen through a microscope. Yet, they can send the most powerful people shivering with fear.
12. That is the Nouvelle Coronavirus. It is capable of wiping out all humans in the world. The only defensive weapons are soap and water, gloves and mask, social distances, and stopping work and stopping making money. Many will starve to death as access to food is cut off.
13. The great civilisation we have built, the fantastic technologies we have developed, the great wealth of individuals, the luxurious life-style of private yachts and private planes, the palaces and holiday homes, the speed of travel, the connectivity, all these would change if not disappear.
14. A new life will develop, a life constrained by the fear of pandemics, the sudden painful death, the limitation on travel and holiday will replace the norm. In everything there will be new normals.
15. The enemy is microscopic but the effect is massive, more than the wars of the world. The great powers will be helpless before these microscopic creatures. Power no longer belongs to the rich and the developed. All those weapons of mass destruction cannot match the destruction by these microscopic creatures.
16. There is definitely a lesson to be learnt here. What the lesson will be is left to each and everyone of us.

On time wasters.
These Black lives matter demonstrations are like our own Bersih 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, et cetera. Mainly just an opportunity to get out on the streets to be part of something bigger than one selves. Most of the participants have nothing better to do at home. Those who shunned them are actually working at the offices and factories, feeding these time-wasting loafers instead.
What did the Bersih demonstrations achieve, by the way. With these time-wasters, I fail to see what they really achieved. Change of government(?) That’s was coming anyway.. not because of the demonstrations.
Did the demonstrations change the way the civil service operates, or corruptions inside Malaysian government.. yeah, sure..(!!)
So will the Black lives matter (or whatever) street protests get the US government to treat minorities as equals of whites(??) How the heck do you get rid of racial prejudice when it is already there (he..he..). By pleading for white employers to employ unqualified blacks(?!) By pleading the perpetrators for more mercy(?!), like better police treatment of black petty criminals, perhaps. Why should they(?!) Why are the poor looked-down upon in society, even in their own communities.. unfair(?), but that’s human nature(!). Try changing that in one’s own self, first. Deeds speak louder than words, indeed(!!)
Don’t blame society… look at one self in the mirror first. Forget the crap ancestors, admit it and move on(!!)

1. Apa yang Malaysia lakukan untuk menangani pandemik COVID-19 selari dengan apa yang negara-negara luar lakukan dan selari dengan nasihat WHO.
2. Lagipun majoriti rakyat Malaysia jenis yang tidak suka buat kecoh – akur dengan PKP/ PKPB/SOP/etc.
3. Vaksin perlu ada secepat mungkin kerana ini saja cara efektif untuk menghindari seseorang dari dijangkiti COVID-19. KKM mesti tumpukan kepada penyelidikan untuk hasilkan vaksin COVID-19. Inilah peluang untuk KKM membuktikan kemampuan kepada dunia.
4. Mengenai PM Kerajaan Tebuk Atap dari BERSATU, mungkin beliau tidak nampak (sekeliling) yang para pemimpin UMNO/PAS (dan juga dari feksyen Azmin dan katak2 politik yang ada dalam BERSATU) bakal merampas kuasa dari beliau. Mereka tidak perlu buat apa-apa, sebab TSMY sendiri yang merosakkan BERSATU dengan rakus.
5. Tidak mungkin pada PRU-15, TSMY diangkat sebagai calon PM kerana PAS/UMNO akan kekal dengan Muafakat Nasional. Beliau akan disisih dan disingkirkan.
6. Apa akan jadi kepada BERSATU? Ya, ia akan hancur di tangan TSMY yang kurang cerdik (maaf cakap…), tetapi fikir yang dia telah menjadi penyelamat keadaan (sama macam para penyokong beliau yang berfikiran dangkal – tidak cerdik).
7. Saya harap ada lagi MPs BERSATU (yang menang atas tiket BERSATU) sedar yang mereka juga BAKAL kecundang pada PRU-15 jika mereka kekal bersama TSMY. Insaflah sebelum terlambat. Mahukah mereka diketawakan oleh para pemimpin UMNO/PAS kerana kebodohan mereka?
8. TSMY galak menyogok MPs bagi jawatan2 penting dalam GLCs/ GLICs untuk mengekalkan kuasa. Inikah dia akhlak seorang pemimpin Islam? Merosakkan imej Islam!

Dalam keadaan pandemik COVID-19 masih berleluasa, hati pun mudah jadi panas membaca komen-komen yang tidak beradab di blog Tun.

However the pandemic does not levering the playing field, the powerful remains powerful, the rich remains the rich, the poor makes poorer and the salaried-men make less with many business (Hospitality and airlines to name a few) facing shut down and employment lay off if help and economy revival is not forth coming.
The pandemic has brought out the best and the worst of Malaysians: In one hand we have greedy and unprincipled politicians taking opportunities to grab power ‘Sheraton Move’ resulted in the fall of PH federal government. Human greed knows no bounds and our political frogs have a field day selling their dignity to the highest bidder. Johor, Melaka, Perak and Kedah subsequently fall to PN to the anguish, dismal and frustration of voters that their ‘YB MP and ADUAN’ had betrayed people mandate. The business as usual ‘cash is king’ and ‘abuse of power’ which we so despise and voted them out in GE14 has reared its ugly head again. Carrot and stick approach (bribery/threat) are now order of the day to consolidate and strengthen the unholy and fragile PN government.
On the other hand we have frontline healthcare professionals, security and emergency personals manning security and safety, all the workers in essential services and manufacturing and not forgetting the food producers and delivery workers who put their lives on the line in order to serve our fellow Malaysians and our nation. Shame on those greedy politicians and I take my hats off and salute our daily heroes ‘the essential workers’.
In the midst of a pandemic the viral video of African American George Floyd pleads for his life ‘I can’t breathe’ when white police officer kneed on his neck for more than 8 minutes, including 2 minute and 53 second after he became unresponsive (dead). The injustices and cried of ‘I can’t breathe’ stirred up a global outcry and protests over racism and injustices across the world.
And of all the people, Malaysian again makes headline for the wrong reason in lack of understanding, compassion, empathy and foot in the mouth comment:

Tun Mahathir, please pardon me to ask what had gone so wrong with Malaysians that we now view and accept racism as normal and those born with wrong color should accept it and take it as a challenge, makes you stronger and learn certain lesson?
I do not choose to be born as Chinese Malaysian and if given a choice many of us would like to be born in Malay Royal House. But as Chinese Malaysian we know no one owes us anything. We do not expect pities nor handout thus we work extra hard to be successful in this life and in return we do our best to raise our children and it is in our culture to push them to do better. Be smarter. Be stronger. Be faster. Be more righteous. Be more pious. Be more innovative. Be more creative. Be everything that they can be in this lifetime. The more successful we are, the more we give back to our community and society as gratitude for the good fortune bestowed on us.

But in Malaysia, we have leaders who do not try to unite the Malaysia people—do not even pretend to try (yes they do pretend to try when they want your vote during GE) and instead openly divide us with race baiting. For far too long our Malaysia Political sure fire playbook is using racism and religiosity to ‘Divide, Indoctrinate and Rule’.
Years of political posturing using religion and race couple with education that indoctrinate rather than open mind have now begun to show its ugly consequences. We have now group of self-serving unprincipled and corrupted politicians that are: rent seekers, bootlickers, backstabbers, political opportunists, political bigots, political hypocrites and political frogs misusing/abusing religion and race to get themselves elected as “YB MP or ADUN” and then instead of serving the people wellbeing, selfless devotion to duty, and complete willingness to dedicate their lives to the causes of nation-building and raising the peoples’ standard of living, unashamedly grab position, business opportunities, APs, scholarships and etc for themselves, their family members, their cronies and willingly selling their dignity to the highest bidder for more money and higher position. It all boils down to “what’s in it for me” where the spirit of service above self by our early founder’s is now a bygone era.
Corruption, Bribery, Racism, Religiosity and Indoctrination had undermined our unity, our nation building and our dream of achieving Tun’s vision 2020. Our nation is at the crossroads. Will right minded and progressive Malaysians stand up and tick off unprincipled and corrupted Politicians who seek to ‘Divide, Indoctrinate and Rule’ enough is enough, we can’t breathe and that in unity and diversity there is Strength. We must now summon that unity, diversity and strength to surmount this triple whammy covid-19 pandemic, political/economic crisis and racism—with believe and confident that we are better than our politicians.

Everyone in this blog is just a keyboard warrior, an armchair politician, self-appointed “advisor”, anonymous time-waster, and so on. If you have more urgent things to do, you shouldn’t be looking at the screen. As I write this, I have just completed my task for the hour, for instance. Then I will log off, and return to it to see if the posting is there yet. It is an exercise of self-satisfaction, that’s all. As long as you have that in mind at all times, then you won’t get bloated inside or take blogging too seriously. But the blog administrator should, as all the legal risks are under him (defamatory remarks etc. in the blog), and of course he knows this already.
Think before writing. The feedback will tell you whether you are thinking right or not, and discover yourself in the process.
Also, try not to write too much, as it gets too congested for others. And try not to repeat the same things over and over again (like copy/pasting previous remarks), because it shows that you are a bad writer to own self. Blogging can be a good way to improve your way of thinking and writing. So, take the opportunity to think before writing, and write in proper grammar and sentences.

P/S. A good blog administrator (including Tun) must allow dissenting opinions to his own, if the blog is to have any use. If the blog is only for his own supporters, then it is a biased blog. Sebagai pemerhati diluar sini to me mudah aje.
TSMY buang aje semua yang melawan dalam party. Tak payahlah nak bagi jawatan semula. Kurang membership, no hal, Azmin kan ada, ramai PKR members yang keluar party ikut Azmin, boleh bawa mereka masuk. The other choice masuk balik UMNO, UMNO dah war war kan sanggup terima members lama.
I cuma pemerhati, dah penat baca entah apa2 dalam social media. Hannah Yeoh pun sekarang dah kena sembur. Semua pemimpin PH dah kena. Mereka hanya cakap besar. Come to think of it, kalau ada pemilihan semula, Hannah bertanding kat Subang Jaya, I also tak nak pilih.
I ini penat cari duit nak cover losses dalam investment. My family sibuk cari duit nak cover hutang. My daughters sibuk cari nak tanggung anak2 dan tolong suami masing2. My son sibuk cari duit nak bayar hutang. Kalau PN baik hati bagi hubby and son BPN kami amat bersyukur. Sebab I memang tak apply BPN. Reason for this sebab my semi retired hubby dah apply. And also memang patut dia apply sebab hutang2 dalam rumah sedikit sebanyak dia settlekan.

My nasihat untuk anak muda jaga makan, senam. I dapat diabetes masa usia I 50han. Sekarang budak mudak muda pun ada diabetes dan heart problem.
Masa muda I ada love hate relationships dengan food. There are times I makan banyak, there are times I tak makan langsung. I pernah pitam sebab low blood sugar. Bila dah berumur dapat diabetes, blood sugar tinggi, sampai doktor panic, I dihantar masuk emergency ward. Doktor kerajaan wanita beritau I ini, Puan, makan kena ikut time, tak boleh suka2 makan. I fikir wah tau pulak sang doktor my past.

May be the WHO will produce a epidemiological map of the Covid 19 virus World which could be up-dated either daily or weekly or monthly as and guide for travellers around the globe. This map will be a best seller.
You are correct on your vision of the New Normal Life to come. Will there be any more over-crowded planes, trains or buses ? Will the HSR between KL and Singapore be feasible any more with the latest social distancing ? And at one stroke, have the Budget airlines also disappear for good due to health measures which will certainly imposed by countries to protect their borders ? The huge costs of socio-economic stimuli packages announced around the World will certainly force all governments to protect their borders to keep out not only the Covid 19 virus but others as yet unknown.
In each country’s Budget, the biggest allotment will be for Health which used to be placed last with the Fine Arts in Third World countries.
Certain epidemiologists have predicted the Covid 19 virus will surge again in Autumn and Winter. For sure, the age old pattern of our travels and holidays will change without any doubt. With the pressure to stay at home, all sorts of home entertainment devices will flourish. The birth rate will rise in all countries.
The huge capacity in planes and hotels will be the millstone around the owners necks for sometime. However, isolated holiday resorts with guaranteed disease free environment will boom like Bali etc.
