1. Kerajaan Malaysia akan membentang tiga rang undang-undang (Bill) bagi mengganti Akta Hasutan 1948, demikian janji Perdana Menteri. Akta Hasutan dianggap tidak sesuai dengan keadaan zaman dan dasar keterbukaan Malaysia.
2. Apakah rang undang-undang yang akan dijadikan pengganti kepada Akta Hasutan? Dibawah diperturunkan nama-nama akta berkenaan:-
1) National Harmony Bill
2) National Unity Bill
3) National Unity and Integration Commission Bill
3. National Unity Bill dan National Harmony Bill bertujuan menghapuskan dasar pemilihan berasas kepada agama, bangsa, keturunan, tempat lahir, jantina atau ketidakupayaan dan lain-lain yang berkenaan.
4. Malaysia adalah negara berbilang kaum dan bangsa.
5. Di Malaysia kita kekalkan bangsa asal kita, bahasa dan budaya kita, sekolah kita, bahkan universiti kita. Susulan dari itu kita tinggal di tempat-tempat berasingan, amalan cara hidup dan kegiatan kita juga berbeza dan berasingan. Dalam bidang perniagaan masing-masing mempunyai network sendiri berasas kepada kaum/bangsa, bahasa dan budaya. Sistem “guild” atau kesatuan jenis perniagaan tertutup kepada orang lain.
6. Pencapaian masing-masing kaum/bangsa juga berbeza dengan kaum Cina mendahului kaum India dan Melayu dan kaum India sedikit sebanyak mendahului kaum Melayu.
7. Keadaan terpisahnya kaum/bangsa dan pencapaian kaum/bangsa yang tidak sama tidak membolehkan penyatuan dan harmoni di kalangan mereka dengan mudah. Kerana kaum/bangsa tidak boleh dihapuskan percubaan dibuat melalui DEB untuk mengurangkan jarak pemisahan antara mereka dalam bidang ekonomi.
8. Dasar Ekonomi Baru dibentuk bertujuan untuk mengurangkan jarak perpisahan antara kaum ini. Untuk ini perlu ada diskriminasi untuk satu kaum yang ketinggalan mengejar kaum lain. Apabila National Harmony Bill dilulus maka DEB tidak boleh dilaksanakan lagi. Ini bermakna negara akan amal meritokrasi – iaitu mereka yang mempunyai merit atau kebolehan tertinggi akan dapat segala-galanya. Biasiswa, tempat dalam universiti Kerajaan, kontrak, peluang kerja dan bermacam lagi akan diperolehi berasas merit. Di luar Kerajaan segala-galanya sudah pun didapati oleh mereka yang memiliki merit.
9. Memanglah ini amat adil. Tetapi besar kemungkinan kaum yang miskin, yang kerananya tidak berpeluang atau tidak memiliki persekitaran untuk belajar, pergi ke sekolah swasta yang baik dengan yuran tinggi, tidak cukup makan, kurang sihat, terlantar di rumah sekejap-sekejap, kaum ini tidak dapat memenuhi syarat, tidak memiliki merit untuk mendapat apa-apa. Mungkin mereka tidak pun dipanggil untuk ditemuduga.
10. Kerana keadilan sistem merit yang miskin (bumi) akan terus miskin dan yang kaya akan lebih kaya.
11. Di Eropah di zaman industri, yang kaya memiliki semua perusahaan dan yang miskin bekerja sebagai kuli. Tidak ada peluang sama sekali bagi kuli yang miskin menjadi kaya, kerana tidak ada pelajaran dan tidak ada modal, tidak memiliki merit.
12. Ini bukan kerana diskriminasi. Kuli sebenarnya tidak ada merit, justeru itu mereka tetap tinggal sebagai kuli. Yang kaya memperolehi merit maka mereka tetap kaya dan menjadi lebih kaya.
13. Akhirnya kuli mengadakan kesatuan sekerja, mengadakan mogok dan bermacam tindakan perusahaan, Kedudukan mereka menjadi lebih baik dan mereka berpeluang untuk mengejar ilmu dan kecekapan, kekayaan dan kejayaan. Wah! Rupa-rupanya mereka ada kebolehan, mereka yang tidak ada merit dahulu, apabila berpeluang jelas mereka ada merit dan mampu menjadi pengusaha dan majikan.
14. Kalau tidak kerana kuasa kesatuan sekerja dan mogok, potensi dan merit yang ada pada kuli tidak akan menjadi nyata.
15. Jika kita ambil iktibar, maka jelaslah yang kurang merit pun jika diberi peluang akan memiliki merit dan berjaya. Jika kita hapuskan diskriminasi yang memihak kepada yang tidak ada merit dan terus utamakan yang sudah ada merit maka tidak adalah yang kurang merit yang akan berjaya.
16. Memusnahkan diskriminasi berasas kaum atau bangsa akan menjadikan kita semua sama – sama sebagai warganegara. Tetapi ia akan kekalkan ketidaksamaan dan ketidakadilan yang sedia ada.
17. Baru-baru ini ada tokoh yang mendakwa keadaan di Malaysia amat buruk kerana amalan kronisma dan pilihkasih iaitu diskriminasi yang memihak kepada satu pihak. Oleh itu ia tidak ingin berniaga di sini. Apakah dia dilahir cukup kaya untuk pergi berniaga di negara yang tidak ada kronisma atau apakah dianya mengumpul modal yang banyak dari Negara ini dahulu sebelum dapat pergi ke luar negara untuk menikmati meperintahan tanpa diskriminasi. Kita tahu Negara ini yang begitu buruklah yang memberi peluang kepadanya mengumpul modal yang banyak untuk ke Negara lain. Jika dia dapat peluang, salahkah jika orang lain juga diberi peluang di negara yang kurang baik ini supaya dapat sedikit nikmat dari yang banyak yang sudah dinikmati oleh tokoh ini?
18. Peluang ini bagi kaum/bangsa yang ketinggalan tidak mungkin datang melainkan ada diskriminasi berasas kaum. Cadangan untuk rang undang-undang yang akan dibentangkan oleh Perdana Menteri bukan akan menghasilkan persamaan (equality) atau keadilan. Ia akan mengekalkan ketidaksamaan dan ketidakadilan yang terdapat sekarang.
19. Sesungguhnya rang undang-undang ini akan hapuskan saki-baki dari usaha mengimbangkan ekonomi antara kaum.

Aside from aiming to accelerate the operation of the Weda Bay project, Komiya said, Mitsubishi had also planned to build an automotive factory in Indonesia this year.
“Thailand has become the fastest-growing car industry in Southeast Asia, but its current [political] situation is not good. In terms of population, the Indonesian market is bigger in many ways. So, we have to follow that logic,” he said, adding that a detailed study on the plan was still underway.
Komiya hinted, however, that the factory would probably be mainly dedicated to producing multipurpose vehicles (MPVs), the favored car type in the country.
The Association of Indonesian Automotive Manufacturers (Gaikindo) recorded that total sales of the 4×2 car type (comprising MPVs and a few sport utility vehicles [SUVs]) accounted for 787,712 units or 64 percent of the total auto sales last year.

When I opened the Financial Daily this morning, Wednesday 18 June 2014, the following headines stared at me ‘ MOF WITHDRAWS CONTROVERSIAL IRB BILL’ and ‘ YTL POWER TO BACK OUT OF PROJECT 4A ?’ and when I opened your Blog, there was this Singaporean slimy spineless worm doing the ablutions. ! I thought what a wonderful world our beloved Malaysia is today !
Many thanks to you Tun for making so many people very rich and your single handed creation of the significant and large MALAY MIDDLE INCOME GROUP WHICH BROUGHT UP THE NON-MALAY MIDDLE INCOME GROUP ALSO. This gave us the DEMOCRATIC BALLAST TODAY.
Naturally, my thoughts returned to the 3 new Bills now tabled before the Dewan Rakyat :-
1. The National Harmony Bill
2. The National Unity Bill
3. The National Unity and Integration Commission Bill
And again these bring to my mind the 3 antiquated but vital Acts as follows
1. The Companies Act 1965. Not revised or updated since 1965 – 49 years !
2. The Trustees Act 1949 – Not revised or updated since 1949 – 65 years !
3. The Bankruptcy Act 1967 – Not revised or updated since 1967 – 44 years !
As a layman I believe that the practise of the Laws is a much more difficult profession than the practice of medicine which normally deals with common ailments. But in a law practice, every case or Suit is different. In other words. law cases are alive and living which entail dependence on precedents and the latest judgements of the day to gain an advantage. It is alleged Singapore could change its Laws on the spot !
Who is responsible for the state of affairs concerning the 3 antiquated Laws which were enacted more than 40 years ago and in use everyday ? The politicised Bar Council which is now immersed in POLITICS ? The Attorney General who is now immersed in POLITICAL SUITS ? The Minister of/for Law, whoever he is ? Or erstwhile general election candidates who spewed forth promises but only bent on getting re-elected ?
Whoever is responsible, it is crystal clear that antiquated laws will not attract serious investors into our mega projects especially the financial ones like the Tun Razak Exchange.
Now the 3 New Bills were drafted by a few ennobled personalities who were plain enciks not too long ago. Are they there because of their titles and decorations or is it because of their insignificant records ?
All in all, the Republic of Singapore which is known world wide as the country with a brilliant leader who achieved a Star Double First degree in Law at Cambridge and its supreme leader from 1959 – 2014, 55 years and beyond, and an expert in the Laws, is now beset with increasing human and money problems even though its Judiciary is second to none in support of all the Laws as promulgated by the Government which governs a homogenous population of 75% Chinese. The super-efficient Laws are defective in their application. Let us recall that the British who governed Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaya could control the whole lot with only a basic set of the Laws !
Then, we have Libya, a country which is supposed to embrace Democracy and the Laws now showing up the cracks even though she is purported to have a Democratic set-up of Laws and its institutions. The gun is mightier than the Laws without the human touch and commonsense ?
Finally, the sad and tragic case of Iraq, with Democracy in action which must be accompanied by the Laws and the Parliament, is predicted to split into 3 ways despite the Laws and the Parliament.
The human problems of our beloved Malaysia today can only be resolved by :-
1. Commonsense
2. The Abillity to Think out of the Box
3. Compassion.
The qualities which guided our Tun for 22 years of his Administration as a wise Ruler does not need or require
require the Laws to guide, protect or advance his interests – a normal way of life will do and to a much greater and effective extent.
Before we forget the ‘ MOF WITHDRAWS….IRB BILL.’ I have paid my taxes since 1952 and through all these years it was my fervent belief that the IRB was collecting the money for the Government. It is wrong to unhinge the IRB and then turn it into a GLC managed and control by CIVIL SERVANTS WITH NO OWNERSHIP AND ACCOUNTABILITY. The IRB is a key money collecting component of a holistic ( I copy ) Government which activity is connected with money and revenue collection – closely monitored by important international Agencies.
IF THE TAX-PAYING RAKYAT AFTER HEARING OF NEGATIVE THINGS ABOUT A GOVERNMENT AND ITS PRIVATISED IRB AND REFUSED TO PAY-UP, AN INSTANT CRISIS IS IN THE OFFING !
I HAVE ALWAYS EXPRESSED THAT THE BEST WAY FOR THE GOVERNMENT TO RAISE MONEY IS TO SELL OFF ALL THE GLCS BACK TO THE MALAY PRIVATE SECTOR AND ONLY TO RULE OVER US AND SHOULD NOT COMPETE WITH THE PRIVATE SECTOR IN BUSINESS IN A SMALL COUNTRY .
It is alleged there was another set of proposed Bills designed for EASY governing and the raising of money was hastily withdrawn not too long ago.
Finally, the infamous YTL Power to BACK OUT OF PROJECT 4A ? headine, begs more information to be known about this ungrateful founder who is alleged to have sold a private club memberships but WITHOUT THE CLUB LAND which launched him to get the right connections through a draughtsman.
ON THIS SCORE ALONE, HE DISQUALIFIED HIMSELF FROM ANY MONOPOLTY WHATSOEVER ! If this is TRUE THEN VITAL INFORMATION WAS WITHELD FROM THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT WHEN THE 22% RAKYAT GUARANTEED PROFIT MONOPOLY WAS GIVEN TO HIM.

tajuk topik Tun kali ini, “Harmoni dan Kesamarataan”, seolah-olah suatu pertanyaan samada Harmoni boleh dicipta dengan Kesamarataan, dengan satu dasar yang MUSTAHIL akan dilaksanakan oleh pengurusan yang dimonopoli oleh orang Cina, memandangkan sikap rasis dan anti-Melayu yang tebal di kalangan mereka. Adakah pengurusan PETRONAS dan GLC lain telah menjadi lebih bagus, setelah berduyun-duyun exec bukan-Melayu diserap masuk? Apakah Hong Leong Bank akan mengambil exec Melayu jadi top-management?

As the Laws deal with human beings and are not as dead as a dodo, the latest reported utterings by a clever Chinaman who is so very clever as to be so very stupid, make me wonder how these remarks fit into the 3 new Bills eg. The National Harmony Bill ; The National Unity Bill ; The Unity and Integration Bill.
His alleged remarks as reported in a pro-Oppostion Blog today are as follows :-

This clever Chinaman’s very first MONOPOLY IS SUBSIDISED BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF MALAYSIA TO THE EXTENT OF 22% GUARANTEED PROFIT WHICH IS WAY ABOVE THE 12% UNGUARANTEED GROSS PROFIT RECOGNIZED WORLD WIDE.
HOW DID THIS CLEVER CHINAMAN CON THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TO GIVE HIM SUCH ABSURD TERMS ? The most absurd is our Rakyat’s hard-earned money through sweat, toil and tears subsidised this ungrateful recepient of a largesse which HE IN TURN WITHOUT REMORSE SUBSIDISED CASH STRAPPED SINGAPORE, AUSTRALIA AND THE UNITED KINGDOM with money which should have stayed in our beloved land !

This is the normal and usual Opposition tactic to misinform by attacking on a personal and abusive basis. IT IS NOT THAT THOSE WHO SEE THE NEGATIVITY IN THESE THREE BILLS ARE AFRAID, IT IS BECAUSE THERE ARE ALREADY IMPORTANT PRECEDENTS THAT SUCH LAWS WILL FAIL WITH SADNESS AND TEARS FROM THE FOLLOWING FEW IMPORTANT EXAMPLES :-
1. THE FAILURE OF THE SINGAPORE ELITE TO FURTHER THEIR EXCLUSIVE RULE ON 99% OF THE POPULACE THROUGH THE PROMULGATION OF THE LAWS SINCE 1959 EVEN WITH THE PERSONAL TOUCH OF ITS LEADER WHO IS AN EXPERT IN THE LAWS.

Book Review: Once A Jolly Hangman

The contents of this well-researched book were so depraved and disturbing, that it took me several weeks to (1) finish reading the book in its entirety, and (2) gather my thoughts about it in order to write a cohesive review.
I would have thought that the book was a work of fiction were it not for the ‘non-fiction’ label at the back of the book in the print version.
Back in 2013, former ISD director Mr. Yoong Siew Wah mentioned “the callousness of the Singapore government” on his blog.
This callous and insensitive aspect that is completely lacking in any compassion for humanity, is certainly apparent in Once A Jolly Hangman. The title alone points to the bizarre nature of the system, where the macabre act of hanging a human being is undertaken with joy as if it were a festive occasion and cause for celebration.
Perhaps the most morbid fact mentioned is the “Death Row Diet.”
As it says in the book, “Beyond the walls of Changi Prison hanged prisoners’ organs are worth tens of thousands of dollars each.”
As if this fact of profiting from dead prisoners’ bodies were not deplorable enough, the prisoners on death row who sign the consent form to donate their organs for transplant or research are put on a special regime known as the Death Row Diet. This diet consists of high-quality, nutritious food to “ensure the organs are in perfect condition for transplant after they are hanged.”
Is this not a form of ultimate exploitation of human life, where one profits handsomely from the dead and forgotten?
The other thoroughly disgusting component of the book has to do with the racial bias of the elites. The author, Alan Shadrake, structures the book around several real-life accounts to show how people with money and the right connections have the means to prevent themselves from being executed by the state. If you’re poor, uneducated, or of an undesirable race (or, to phrase it a little better, your skin colour is not the right one), yours is the “pitiful, hopeless situation” where even the innocent may end up being executed.
Alan Shadrake went to jail because of this book — for contempt by scandalising the court. A scandal can be defined as an action or event regarded as morally or legally wrong and causing general public outrage. How is the author scandalising the court when his book is based on scandalous facts?
What Alan Shadrake did with this book was to give the deceased a human face, since their lives weren’t worth anything to the Singapore authorities (apart from what could be gained from their organs, post-mortem). This further highlights the hypocrisy of Changi Prison’s motto.
I didn’t even know Changi Hilton — I mean, Changi Prison — had a motto until reading this book. That motto is:
“Captains of Lives: Rehab, Renew, Restart.”
From their own website:
“RENEW is a commitment an inmate makes to change his/her life for the better. Through the CARE Network, our offenders are given opportunities to restart their lives.”
Renew? Restart? Tell that to the families of Flor Contemplacion, Angel Mou Pui-Peng, Amara Tochi, Shanmugam Murugesu (a Tamil Singaporean former jet ski champion and army regular), Nguyen Van Tuong, Vignes Mourthi, and countless others who were executed in Singapore for being at the wrong place at the wrong time, without the riches or powerful connections to help them out of their dire situation. Or to the family members of Huizuan with regard to her tragic death in Changi Women’s Prison in 2011, which could have been avoided if more care had been shown by the prison staff in her medical condition before her death.
What is even worse is that Changi Prison sends out a letter to the families of the individual on death row informing them of when the execution will take place — a letter which has that same motto emblazoned on the bottom of the page.
This was truly one of the most despicable and morbid books I’ve ever read. It reveals a darker side which the authorities would likely prefer to keep hidden beneath the country’s veneer of justice, cleanliness and efficiency.
The bible issue is a good lesson to christians from locals, sabah, sarawak and the world. If mais and jais dont return the bibles, they are in fact putting the sultan In a very difficult situation that HRH is anti christians, or anti non muslim.

Book Review: Beyond Suspicion

Towards the end of Once a Jolly Hangman, Alan Shadrake shares some details about his arrest in Singapore. There is one paragraph where he says:
“Was I in danger of being arrested? I consulted well-known Singaporean Francis T. Seow, a former president of the Law Society. His advice: as long as it’s all correct, you have nothing to fear.”
We can thus hold Francis Seow to his word, in the sense that the research in his book, Beyond Suspicion? is based on facts, not fiction. This was yet another book that I would have thought was a tragicomical political movie script or novel, had I not already been familiar with some of the well-known, real life members of the cast.
As the former solicitor-general of Singapore, Francis T. Seow was one of LKY’s right-hand men — the top man after the attorney general (the attorney general being the principal legal officer who represents a country in legal proceedings and gives legal advice to the government).
The publication’s core strength lies in Francis Seow’s references to a complete set of court documents to present his points. That this book is written in a vibrant, intellectually lively style makes it both an educational and entertaining read. For example, Francis Seow doesn’t simply use the word “corrupted” to describe Singapore politics — he describes it as “a dirty gladiatorial game [that’s] also dangerous.”
No time is wasted with giving the reader a bit of background information on Yong Pung How (“an old crony from Lee’s college days”), who became the chief justice of Singapore in 1990. This happened despite the fact that Yong never actually practiced law in Singapore. To paraphrase an insider’s quote, “no judge [in Singapore] who values his rice bowl” would dare go against his political masters’ expectations when it comes to political court cases.
Amnesty International underscored the “notoriety of Lee and his government’s use of defamation laws to stifle the opposition via compliant courts.” Garry Rodin, Director of the Asia Research Centre from 2002-2009, wrote about “the PAP’s manic desire to crush the slightest semblance of serious scrutiny” in his blurb on the back cover of the book. These quotes further illustrate the extent of the politicization of the judiciary.
Even when armed with this knowledge, the reader will still come across an array of mind-boggling dialogue and logic-defying actions (thanks to the PAP leaders of the time), through Francis Seow’s intense presentation of the case involving Tang Liang Hong.
Tang’s “crime” was questioning the Lees’ controversial purchases with the Nassim Jade properties, and asking why the matter wasn’t handed over to a professional body like Commercial Affairs Department or Corrupt Practice Investigation Bureau.
In Tang’s own words:
“[The CAD or CPIB] are government departments. . .well-known for being [firm and impartial]. They would be more detached and their reports would have been more convincing to the people.”
The real crime is that Tang Liang Hong was in opposition politics, an individual whom the PAP elite recognized “as an immediate threat to their electoral prospects in the Cheng San GRC” during the 1997 General Election. Back in 1981, LKY once dismissed the value of a political opposition as being “irrelevant.” How can someone or something be a threat and irrelevant at the same time?
The rest of the chapters give a detailed account of the political gangsterism and character assassination Tang Liang Hong experienced. One would think that the text was describing the bullying that occurs in a children’s playground, and not the behaviour of highly-ranked politicians in a court of law.
We are shown how The Straits Times provided coverage that was “more favourable to the PAP leaders than reports from foreign journalists,” and how Tang Liang Hong was branded by PAP leaders as an “anti-Christian, anti-English-educated Chinese chauvinist,” with Goh Chok Tong taunting Tang as a “coward and a liar.”
As if these obnoxious epithets were insufficient, LKY likened Tang Liang Hong to “a serial killer” during an hour and a half monologue in court. LKY and his “PAP digits” were “like ravenous hyenas in a feeding frenzy” when they demanded a grand total of S$12.9 million for the lawsuits over Tang’s remarks on the Nassim Jade purchases, along with his other actions.
Other memorable gems include the Singapore government misusing taxpayers’ funds to support a private quarrel, LKY’s comments on how J.B. Jeyaretnam — who represented Tang Liang Hong in court — should be “skinned alive like a skunk,” and Wong Kan Seng, then the leader of the House, “loyally leaping to the patriarch’s rescue” when LKY made a grave and thoroughly unsupported allegation that Tang was backed by people who wished to destroy Singapore. There are plenty of other juicy details which I can’t include in a book review, though I will endeavour to feature bits and pieces in future articles.
The nature of the PAP leaders involved in this dreadful fiasco can be seen in the final outcome of Tang’s case. All the charges against Tang were dropped when the main property asset of the Tangs was no longer worth as much, due to the Asian financial crisis and other factors (and therefore less of a boon than the PAP leaders had originally hoped for, in terms of being awarded their millions in damages).
After all the litigation costs, mental/emotional distress, and disruption caused to him and his family, Tang was declared a bankrupt, so that he could not hold any political position in Singapore and directly partake in politics. Tang himself succinctly described the law in Singapore as being an unequal struggle, and “a test of financial strength, not of legal arguments.”
As a June 1997 editorial by The New York Times wrote:
“Singapore’s leaders are masters at using libel suits in a compliant court system to silence or intimidate their domestic opponents. . .”
The purpose of books like Beyond Suspicion is not to ridicule or be derisive. It is to expose flaws in a political party or system, and provide a record of history. Note that on Page 241, it is mentioned that one of the legal documents to do with Tang Liang Hong was ordered by Justice Chao Hick Tin to be destroyed — at the request of LKY, via his counsel, Davinder Singh. Who knows what else has been requested to be destroyed?
Another purpose is for future generations to remember what this party has done to opposition members whom they viewed as a threat. Were the opposition members viewed as a threat to Singapore; good governance; or to the PAP’s own stronghold of political power?
If leaders are wise and less arrogant, they would seek to produce less scripted videos which appear to be more propaganda-inspired than patriotically inspired. Instead, they would seek to learn from mistakes of the past — and make genuine amends — so that they can prove to current voters/citizens why they should still be in office, as well as justify their high salaries drawn from taxpayers’ dollars.
In the context of Singapore’s political scene, it is only by the party’s own words and actions that they make the choice to be regarded as the “People’s Action Party,” or a “Perpetually Arrogant Party.”

The Malaysian law provides very easy means for all Malaysians to be acknowledged as Bumiputra, and hence the privileges that comes with that Bumiputra status as specified under article 153. A marriage with any Malaysian Bumi, the Christians, the pagans or us Muslims will suffice for everyone of their offspring being bestowed as a Bumi.
However there exists these Cina bukit louts always looking to create and instill racist feelings among Malaysians, and undoubtedly they chose to remain as the most racist of them all, and very proud to hear calls as a Cina bukit species!

I have always thought that Singapore was a country in which a homogenous population was well-controlled givne that it has the best brains in the World. But since August 2011, when I delved into the humongous and all embracing State apparatus which was set-up for the specific purpose of controlling the minds and thoughts of its citzens, it became fascinating for me to find out more from such a unique pile set up by one person in his life-time. These are the following ingredients of the highest quality which should make the perfect State in the whole wide World. But this did not happen.
1..The leader who achieved a Double Star First in Law at the University of Cambridge.
2. The team he built up and worked actively with him up to the 1980s.
3. A small island of only 25 miles by 75 miles in dimension.
4. A practically homogenous population of 75% Chinese, and the balance Malays and Indians which are urbanised. But the middle class has dropped down by 40% since 1959.
5. Hardly any new infra-structural development required with the exception those as advised by Dr Alfred Winsemius.
4. A full fledged military.
5. One of the best spy systems in the World as assisted by Singapore’s Caucasian friends which activity is in Asia.
6. An education system which is second to none.
7. A first class network of Government hospitals working in conjunction with the private sector.
8. A garden city with a network of roads second to none and with buildings which are befittiing those of an international city.
9. The finest set of Laws to monitor and control the citizenry with the support of the Judiciary which has never claimed to be World Class. This is the reason why the full complement of the Police Force maybe only about 4,000 for a population of 4 millions.
10. In terms of US dollar income per capita, it is on top of the World.
I mention the above points not for the pleasure of getting brownie points from the brillliant Lee Kuan Yew with his 18 failed Policies for Singapore sympathizers BUT TO ILLUSTRATE THAT EVEN IN A TIGHTLY CONTROLLED MONEY PARADISE LIKE THE REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, LAWS LIKE THOSE BEING TABLED IN OUR AUGUST DEWAN RAKYAT will be ineffective and are non-starters. AND YET SINGAPORE FAILED TODAY.

What is happening in Singapore today is a middle income group revolt or a middle class revolt against the power of the State which festooned itself with the finest set of Laws which the 1% elite found it necessary for them to rule since 1959. The surprising thing is that it took so long for these Singaporean citizens to find out what their Rulers/Ruler have been doing with their CPF money LEGALLY but not in their INTEREST. Not only that, the Singaporean middle income group bore the brunt of all the failures associated with the birilliant Lee Kuan Yew’s 18 policies failures for Singapore. They will be replaced by brand new imports.
All these happened at a time when our Tun to his everlasting credit built up the huge Malay Middle Income Group which pulled up the non-Malay Middle Income Grooup in Malaysia. This is our DEMOCRATIC STRENGTH today.
THE RULE BY WAY OF LAWS WITHOUT THE HUMAN TOUCH which is unlike our Tun’s successful 22 Year Administration, can only end up with anguish and tears. And I would like to remind those who had forgotten that our Tun’s is a Malay Statesman.

I am most happy when my honest and factual comments touched a raw nerve of a crypto-brilliant Lee Kuan Yew with his 18 failed Policies for Singapore sympathizer.
This proves my comments were true and the failure of incessant brainwashing from the huge Ministry of Information, Singaore which is the descendant of its British predecessor sited at Phoenix Park, Singapore. Of course, this information gathering outfit is micro-managed by the brilliant Lee Kuan Yew who is intimately aware of all our intimate details like our full-blooded sexual peccadilloes from puberty.
Does one qualify for the Nobel Prize by this ungentlemanly act ? The Singapore Secret Service works with this Ministry of Information which employs Penangites who still think they are British. It is a complement of a motley crew who work for want of a better living. With the commissioning of the super duper computer in 1972 or thereabouts, it was a cinch for the controller to switch it on to watch the bed-room antics of the friendly, hospitable and naive Malaysians of prominent status. I really do not why this is done as we are not squeaky clean or strait laced Singapore where high Government officials queued up to be punished in the redoubtable High Court for all sorts of sexual offences, some of them done under water in a swimming pool !
It was good of the Wikileaks to expose the waste of Singaporean taxpayers’ money for this puposeless activity unless it is for a more sinister political purpose.
The above-mentioned shows one aspect of a Singapore which is already festooned by laws to monitor and to control its citizenry to the nth degree.
And the laws of Singapore are the best in the World. It is alleged that laws could be changed on the spot. But this might not be true as those who suffered dare not speak out or they might end up in Changi like Alan Shadrake for 4 weeks for contempt of the Court.
And our beloved Malaysia is now on the threshold of copying Singapore with its myriad of laws with the support of her Judiciary which operated on an invisible codex of its own. In Singapore, every Law could be implemented within 3 hours and the culprit nabbed and charged.
Can our beloved Malaysia able to implement all the laws in like fashion ?
I do not understand why some Malaysians find it difficult to respect and recognise the political overlordship of any country especially Malaysia. I have never known that Malaysia is not Malay biased since the beginning of my time. And yet, there are people who want to be hypocrites and who benefitted from this historical fact that they want our beloved Malaysia to be something else. And there is no such antecedent in this World.
Singapore now is experiencing the backlash of doing things BY THE LAWS AND NOT BY THE WILL OF HER PEOPLE viz. the uproar of thousands over their CPF money. This clearly illustrates there is a LIMIT TO THE RULE OF THE LAWS. This is where the intangible compassion and commonsense come into play. LAWS ARE DEFINITELY GOOD BUT THE DISADVANTAGE IS ALL HUMAN BEINIGS BECOME A ROBOT like the embedded slimy spineless worm here or DIGITS – cold and inhuman. This is where DEMOCRACY COMES INTO PLAY over a DICTATORSHIP. This is where the majority of any country rules the roost. THIS IS WHERE LAWS WILL NOT STEER OR VEER THE WILL OF THE MAJORITY BY THE MINORITY. This is sheer commonsense and should not be avoided or pretend that such desires or feelings of the majority do not exist. The 3 Bills now tabled before our august Dewan Rakyat will not reduce or wish away the problems which have RECENTLY beset our beloved commniities since 2003. These Bills will only make matters worst because human problems are infinite beyond measure. Already our Courts are loaded with many suits which are covered by our out-of-date Laws.
Is the Bar Council sleeping on their job and now become a political entity serving certain quarters at the expense of 99% of populace with no legal expertise ?
Apart from the huge GLC empire which was established since 2003, and it runs contrary to pulling up all deservinig Malaysians as promised by all BN Governments, we are now faced with 3 new Bills which can only be effective in a 100% high literacyand homogenous population and supported by effective implementation. If nothing is done on any breach of these 3 new laws. I can forsee more problems.
Both the GLCs and the creation or the control of the populace behaviour through the Laws and not through commonsense, LIKE IN SINGAPORE, is bound to fail.
Fortunately, the CPF fiasco hits the headlines every day. And the GLCs Temasek and GIC are stll licking their wounds of 2008 – 6 years ago. We as normal human beings must admit that we do not have the wherewithal to control everything by way of Laws and leave problems to the Police and then depart for a holiday. Politics is very hard work from young and not from yesterday.

Dengan perjanjaian IPP yang berat sabelah itu YTL telah membuat keuntongan hanpir $500 juta satahun.Yang rugi ialah Tenaga dan Petronas yang terpaksa membekalkan gas dengan harga yang murah.
Ada kah Tun tidak menyesal dengan pertolongan itu.

In recent times, our beloved country is never short of exciting events threatening to tear apart the very fabric of our national unity, comity and harmony.
Befroe the issue of the ‘STUPID AND UNGRATEFUL’ Malaysian Chinese had died down, up popped a blabbe- mouthed ‘ stupid and ungrateful ‘ Chinaman who openly confirmed exactly what others had already unfairly labelled the members of his tribe. His arrogant timing cannot be bettered by his insouciant behaviour in front of the Pemandu crowd. He must be absolutely bonkers to think that our beloved Malaysai can be like the great United States, the United Kingdom or Australia even if he has 2 life-times !
In 1956, Chou En-lai called these Chinamen, ‘ Yellow bananas ‘ – that they are yellow on the outside and white inside.
Meritocracy has alrready proven to have failed in the green, green grass of Singapore which is the spiritual homeland of the ignorant and the ill-informed. This enslavement of the populace by the 1% elite of Singapore with the smartest fellow on top, proved to be a pipe-dream. The populace was left with insoluble problems when faulty policies were formulated by the Singapore meritocratic pyramid which came into existence siince 1959. I have not known of any other country which boasted so much about meritocracy based on academia as much as Singapore which eventually failed miserably within a life-time. In reality, we threw away all our books after leaving a university’s portals and began all over again except for the professionals !
In 2013, two Singaporean Ministers announced that in future, applicants applying for jobs and promotions, would be considered not only on their academic qualifications but also their other merits. This underlined the total failure of Singapore’s meritocratic policy and the unfair treatment of her citizens before 2013 ! Vide. Channelnewsasia. 2013.
And yet our Government still flogs the dead horse and we are not Singapore !
We should avoid shooting ourselves in the foot like the Western Powers with their mis-conceived Weapons of Mass Destruction Policy of 2002 resulting in the deaths, injuries and maiming of hundreds of thousands of innocent Arab men, women and children to this day ! The jealous outsiders are only waiting to ridicule us as confirmed by the Singaporean spying on the very personal sexual peccadilloes of our full blooded prominent citizens since 1972 and the information was passed onto Third Parties. The 3 new laws now tabled before the Dewan Rakyat are superfluous and supercillious to the country’s needs and mean nothing. These laws are CATALYSTS for DISCONTENT, TROUBLE-MAKING AND CHAOS because there are no means to implement them. And trouble-makers are aplenty these days !
However, the 3 important laws, the wherewithal to a country’s normal economy eg.
1. The Trustee Act 1949 – not updated since 1949 – 65 years.
2. The Companies Act 1965 – not updated since 1965 – 49 years.
3. The Bankruptcy Act 1967 – not updated since 1967 – 47 years.
have been neglected for decades without regard to their absolute importance in the commercial sinews of a well-administered economy in a World financial community. These are the laws which help to provide the real, not virtual unlike the 3 new laws, goodies to the populace in every developed country of the World.
And to bring the whole picture into perspective, please consider the following :-
1. Further, are these 3 new laws consonant with the Constitution which arose out of the ashes of the aborted Malayan Union of 1946 ?
2. The new Johor Housing Bill is already out of consonance with the spirit of the Constitution and the rest of the country. Do we need more of the same ?
3. The very weak Malaysian Chinese political leaderships have contributed nothing to the formulation of national policies since 2003.
4. The 3 new laws are opening the Pandora’s Box which rightly belongs to the Opposition and not the BN.
The successful age-old power pyramid with the goodies flowing down its sides to the proletariat at the bottom has been forgotten since 2003. Hence, all sorts of problems cropped up when there were none at all – our beloved Malaysia became difficult to govern ! And from 2003, Singapore political cadres and other rich trouble-makers openly interfered with the domestic issues of the country at a time when the traditional goodies were seen to gravitate to the top of the pyramid in defiance of Newton’s Law of Gravity.
Stability, harmony and prosperity have always been with us and are our watch-words until after 2003. Before this, the glue which held the Nation together was always in place and the Rakyat could look forward to material gains from the policies of the Government of the day. Thus, a huge Malay middle income group which brought up the non-Malay middle income group was created during Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s 22 year Administration. This was his finest hour ! Without this creation, we have no DEMOCRATIC BALLAST TODAY !
The brilliant Lee Kuan Yew with his 18 failed Policies for Singapore and he is an expert in the Laws, stumbled on just one Policy – the 2 Child Family Policy for a population of 2 millions. This was enough to finish off the image of Singapore according to him.
Fiddling with the laws is not the panacea or an option to resolve the problems. It is a human problem. It is a problem concerning the delivery of goodies to the proletariat !
THE WEAKNESS OF THE BN TODAY IS NOT BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF LAWS BUT THE PERCEPTION OF THE MIS-PLACEMENT OF PUTTING THE PEGS IN THE WRONG PIGEON HOLES COUPLED WITH A VERY WEAK MALAYSIAN CHINESE POLITICAL LEADERSHIP WHICH CONTRIBUTED NOTHIING AT ALL.
Fortunately, the bungling dull, colourless and obstinate Singaporean Trojan Horse DAP could not think out the 3 EASY STEPS to gain power at Putrajaya as I commented before. And now its redoubtable leadership is enthralled with a muse. TWO WRONGS DO NOT MAKE A RIGHT !

3. National Unity Bill dan National Harmony Bill bertujuan menghapuskan dasar pemilihan berasas kepada agama, bangsa, keturunan, tempat lahir, jantina atau ketidakupayaan dan lain-lain yang berkenaan.

Jadi pemilihan akan berdasarkan apa? Jika akan berdasarkan merit, persoalannya ialah apakah definisi ‘merit’ ? Adakah amalan sekarang tidak berdasarkan merit?

Kerajaan Singapura menganut Meritrocrasi
Jadikan modal kuat mereka bagi menonjolkan
Membezakan Kita sama mereka
Mereka menganut Meritrokrasi SEBAB mereka tahu
Kaum Melayu , India adalah Kaum yg Lemah
Dalam segi Ekonom mahupun Pembangunan
TETAPI SEKIRANYA KAUM INI BERBEZA ,SEBALIKNYA
KAUM INI BAKAL MENGUGAT KAUM CINA
MAKA SAYA YAKIN KERAJAAN SINGAPURA AKAN BERUBAH CORAK
MERITROKRASI SUDAH TAK BOLIH PAKAI
ALHAMDULLILAH SUARA SAYA DI BLOG TUN Persoalan

As a bumi, this is outrageous. This so called PM is also the presiden of UMNO. Dare he say this in front of all umno members?
I am really seriously losing faith in umno. the liberal strikes again.
should we stay loyal to the party tun? to wht extend? how much should we sacrifice by being patient?
why should we vote for umno?
