1. I read an advertisement in a Malaysian paper by a Malaysian Steel mill wanting to buy iron ore. I also know of another steel mill importing iron ore.
2. I think this is very strange. It is known that iron ore is being mined in Terengganu and Pahang right now. I understand that the iron ore is being exported. Without being processed in any order to add value.
3. Why cannot the people mining for iron ore in Malaysia sell the ore to Malaysian mills. The ore they have to buy comes from Australia or even Latin America. The price must be higher because of transportation cost. If Malaysian ore is sold to Malaysian mills, the profit would be higher for the miners as the transportation cost would be lower.
4. If the Malaysian mills are given mining concessions, the price would certainly be lower. It would enable Malaysian mills to compete with imports. If we must export , there should be some added value by conversion to pellets or billets or even construction steel. Malaysia would gain much by so doing.
5. I hope the government authorities concerned will look into this. There is something wrong when we chose to export the raw material needed for our own industry!
YAB Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamed
3. Jadikan perkara ini sebagai undang-undang negara.
4. InsyaAllah negara dan rakyat akan sejahtera.

Salam Tun.
Once upon a time there was this superhero called ‘Tongkangman’. Unlike Superman who helps everyone in need, the Tongkangman only helps the ‘tongkang mari’ immigrants in then Semenanjung Tanah Melayu who are bent on converting the beautiful land that contain tin deposits (iron came later) into pools of death, whilst enjoying the monetary & citizenship rewards that followed.
After achieving his purpose, Tongkangman slowly disappeared into obscurity.
Recently a direct descendant of Tongkangman introduced himself, almost unnoticed and in a different approach but with the same intent -to stamp the might of tongkang mari descendants upon the world’s most hospitable race, the Malays.
Even being a ‘warga emas’ this newly ‘discovered’ Tongkangman finds GREAT JOY when he picked almost every good Malay as his ‘sparring partners’ for his upcoming grand bout.
This Tongkangman browsed through Dr. M’s blog only in split seconds, and looking at the end product it will require some 15 hours daily by an average adult to achieve the same!
True to his identity, this Tongkangman refused any payment from the kiasu masters (as he claimed). His limitless power enable him to own and/or browse 30 blogsites, each one being more significant than Dr. M’s!!!
Wake up ecompute, your resultant indirect declaration that “I’m the greatest hypocrite” contradicted the numerous admissions of your proclaimed true self.
Take note of this; especially to warga emas, all Muslims are reminded “rumah kata pergi, kubur kata mari!”

1-The sad fate of Perak is due to our beloved Tun.He would never during his power days entertain any suggestion to build a highway to link the Klang Valley 6mio pop to these most beautiful beaches and islands nearest KL for that would threaten his billions invested in his Langkawi oh Langkawi.
2-At the moment it takes close to 4 hours by coach or maybe 3 hours by car to reach a place that should only take one and a half hours on a dedicated highway. How do you expect to sell these places as compared to the less beautiful beaches up South nearer Malacca?
3-The people of Perak should righfully never give our votes to the Govt for we are truly a state that has been terribly neglected especially during the time of our Tun.
4-Supporting the present Govt is only ensuring supporting them to continue depriving us of development and progress that is instead channelled to that very poor state that is now not even supporting them anymore after having used billions of our money all these years for their development.
5-This is what you get when you are unjust and have erred, even your own people don’t appreciate you,Tun.
Thanks Tun

So pathetic that some people think that only they and the Malay race have the freedom and the right to live. How unIslamic can one be? And this seems to be what is happening to some Malays in this country these days.
And what’s wrong with spending time in Tun’s blog while I am enjoying my retirement, writing in my 30 odd websites where I study everything under the sun from religion to philosophy, computer stuffs to health and I also study my hometown, Johor Bahru, as well as Southeast Asia, China, India, and Australia. Most of these websites appear new only because I have been spending time writing articles on all these topics in my first website, Do You Know, which I am now breaking up to these new sites as it is becoming too large to maintain.
I also have some Malay sites, such as Malay translation, and Ensiklopedia Bahasa Malaysia. Unfortunately my biggest Malay website, Sejarah Komputer, went down the drain two days ago while I was trying to update my software and I am still trying to salvage it, not quite remembering what my database password was, as it was started a few years back.
All these is enough to debunk your accusation that I have been paid to write in Tun
Dear Tun,
1. With the emergence of another alleged sex scandal, Parti Keadilan will be gaining many votes of sympathy just like what they received in the previous election. Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim is said to be very good in gaining public sympathy.
2. Additionally many educated youths will find this new accusation insulting their intelligence, although they know that thorough investigation should first be carried out.
3. The Malays are yet to unite. Good luck to BN in Sarawak Election!
Salam,
Firstly, thank you for the revelations in your memoirs. It opened my eyes quite a bit. True its from 1 point of view but still its a good account of whats been happening the last 20 years.
As for the iron ore, perhaps its the same case as our petroleum exports. Malaysia’s petroleum is regarded as being low in sulphur content therefore of premium quality. We don’t really need premium grade for most of our uses except for some specialised industries so we sell it to those who need it and buy the proper grade for our use. Makes good business sense.
Perhaps someone in the steel industry can comment?
Regards
Perak goes berak. Teluk Rubiah, a cosy, tranquil cove not far from Setiawan has numerous delipidated 2 storey wooden bungalows and unkept golf course.
Millions had been spent on the project. What when wrong with the investment with no returns? What I guess is that it was meant to be an exclusive project for holiday niche for the rich. The flattened site for their holiday homes is now full of lalang.
Destined for its exclusiveness for the elites Tlk Rubiah was not promoted for public use and thus little income. On the other hand the elites would only go there at their whims and fancy.
The guard told me that such an idyllic place has been leased to a Brazillian company for an iron/steel mill. Even his statement was wrong, Teluk Rubiah has been wronged!
Salam Tun.
The iron ore business only relates to big corporations, and as shown from the past & present tendencies it mainly suits the non-Bumis. Unlike before, they will now employ Bumis AS REQUESTED (they say threaten) by the government, thus the treatment/creation of ‘2nd class or adopted’ employees to show their dissatisfaction.
I strongly believe the monetary loss in the process of exporting the iron ore and to import the quantity required by our mills is negligible as compared to the monetary losses to middlemen’s greed which were experienced by the Malay smallholders, fishermen and farmers.
These kampung Malays were the key to all of BN/Alliance’s election wins. PM Najib MUST ensure the greedy towkays look for new jobs! The effectiveness of FAMA, RISDA, NEKMAT, Majuikan, etc. will determine whether the 1001 slanderous garbage spread by PKR/PAS fanatics can penetrate the thinking of the rural Malays!
There is no necessity for PM Najib to give in to any of the crazy demands/ultimatums issued by the ungrateful non-Bumis. We assured them 70% of Malaysia’s riches and they want more!!! So so greedy! They want to emulate ‘ikan yu'(kuanyew) alias the little shark, who gobbled everything, not even leaving credible scraps for the Singapura Malays!
They are even paying the kiddo ecompute just to belittle us. All this semi-sane kid ever do is look at Tun’s entries and the subsequent comments; 12midnight, 1am, 3am, 7am, throughout working hours, 7pm, 9pm! Wow what concentration! Dear Tun,
1. The local steel plant do not have the area to mine.
2. All mining concession for iron ore either go to the royalties and families and some goes to the politician.
3. They enjoy high tribute, some of the miners who has a contract to mine from the owner pay big money to the royalties and politician.
Tribute ranges from Ringgit 5 to Ringgit 50 per ton of iron ore with 60percent iron content.
4. Just imagine how much the royalties and politician get for a mine producing 20thoudsand tonnes per month.
5. As for the transportation costs, the miners sell it FOB price ex-Kuantan port. As such transportation cost does not arise.
6. Foreign millers and investors are willing to give the contract miners start up capital to mine and even give substantial up front money to the owner to secure the iron ore.
7. Our local bank do not believe in mining..they said that it is a dying industry. Environmental expert in our country also very much concerned about the environment..they are too much when come to the do and don’t. As we know that in mining we have to dig and process the ore..Look at Sg Besi Mines and Sungai Way..both are ex mining land and look at it now..how profitable it is now in turning the area into tourist attraction.
8. For your info, I have make a study on my own expense to revive the tin mining industry in Perak. From the preliminary results it show that Perak has still got substantial tin reserves..18000 tonnes equivalent to 540 Million USD at the prevailing tin market price of USD30,000 per tonne.
9. For you information I was formerly from MMC Berhad, a tin mining scholar and was retrenched from MMC following the downfall of tin price. I then ventured into construction industry and I went burst in 2002. Since then I was looking for mining area since it is my expertise but until today I have failed to secure any mining concession. Many area in Pahang,Perak,Selangor and other states were given out to royalties and politician not the actual people who know the business.
10. Kumpulan Semesta, also is not doing the right job whereby they only sell sand without processing the fine tin and related minerals such as Illmenite, Zircon and monazite whic are high in price
11. I really wish that you would look into the reviving the mining industry in our country.

Salam Tun,
off topic, i am a little confused as to our official government stand on Libya. Russia and China are against the millitary intervention, as are other similiar countries.
i would have thought the world would agree that the killing of civilians as a means to rid them of democratic ambitions would be cruel and against “human rights”, and therefore UN would have unanimous vote.
apparently some do not think so. they seem to feel it is quite alright for Gadaffi to stamp out the protests as he sees fit. i fear this is an indication of something very disturbing, i.e. that a state is more important than human lives and that thought is very dangerous.
i hope Tun could shed some light.
Thank You Tun.
Maybe government should impose levi for iron ore exports like they did with the CPO.
FIY, palm oil companies will have to pay RM300/ton levi if they want to export their CPO. This is because government want them to sell CPO to local end product manufacturer so Malaysia can export added value product thus the process will create more job opportunities and prevent outflow money.
Salam Tun and Bloggers,
I think the problem with our domestic trade is all about the price which translate into profit. The Iron Ore could worth a lot more outside than locally. As a result, the miner will sell it outside rather than the local manufacturer. The local manufacturer in turn, have to purchase the Ore from the world market.
To have the synergy works well, the government need to intervene. For example, controlling the price. But the miners will loose big especially when the price is a lot lower than the international market.
It should be sold to the local manufacturer at similar world market price minus the export cost. This could be cheaper to the local manufacturer while at the same time, not affecting the bottom line of the miners.

Sekian terima kasih

Sorry Tun & All.
Menyimpang sikit.
Our southern neighbour busy reclaiming the sea to get extra land. Our People are busy to supply sand to them but failed resulting our jambatan bengkok tinggal kenangan.
Because of the reclaimation works, our navy based kat selatan tu now having problem with silting.
i like to suggest this.
Since the british (the robber) are busy body (why uhh?) to save sarawak ( please be reminded that the british has colonised us over 300 years and a lot of gold, tin, rubber etc. were robbed from us. how to claim back from them? any idea?) and our southern neighbour do not care about the environmental implication to our country n the navy base, I am suggesting we build nuclear power plant at the navy base area.
Since we are not good enough in “everything” (perception by the Malaysian HR, if not our salary will be the same like the mat salleh) let it be like fukushima….
hahahahaha i believed this could stop the reclaimation works…
hahahahahaha

Assalamualaikum Tun,
Tun saja buat-buat tak faham kot kenapa raw iron ore di ekspot. Its a win, win situation for the seller and the buyer, why should the country benefit. They are not nasionalist, they are capitalist. Membujur lalu melintang patah.
In fact Kinsteel is mining iron ore and processing it….You are right, it makes sense for local steel mills to mine and smelt the iron ore to reudce price of steel…

Perhaps there is small percentage of profit when they sell Malaysian ore to outside Malaysia comparable in selling or to Malaysia company.

Dear Tun,
It stands to reason that a Nation should maximise the benefit it can derive from the natural resources that it possesses. We need to explore how we can add value to these resources before exporting them.
However, it is a complex process with a whole lot of factors to consider. Yet it is NOT impossible.
There must be good sharing of information and trust between the goverment and private enterprises. The goverment must be committed and introduce systems where the best options can be considered.
The goverment needs to seek the best minds (in the world at large)in the areas of interest to provide a well informed studies for the best decisions.
In the case of the natural resource of Iron Ore. The relevent Goverment Body needs to work with the concession holders to find out the quality and qualtity of the ores. Then it needs to help the concession holder to seek the best technologies to maximise the added value of the of these ores. In terms of material add value and market add value..aka market demands, market potential etc.
Such technologies and information may not come cheap. These are where the goverment needs to lend its support to encourage investments in them.
The goverment needs to invest in such “infrastructure” to encourage these activities by the private sector. The goverment need not be directly involves in them.
Providing support to allow our natural resources to get added value before exporting them will create more jobs on our shores, increase or foreign reserves earning potential and best of all bring in the best technologies for our people to learn from and from there maybe even develop and improve these techonoligies..as what the Japanese did and are doing.
God Bless Malaysia.
This is a sign of failure of Malaysia Inc. or 1Malaysia. Dont be surprise if the Malaysian ore is sold to Malaysian mills via third countries.
Salam Sejahtera buat Tun Dan sekeluarga,
Nampaknya banyak perlu diterokai.
Jadi, sekadar komen kosong.
Just backed from Putrajaya International Balloon fair.
It is a failure to call international event without participation of foreign countries.
Peoples are complaining the road map in Putrajaya is very bad. Don know who design the roads in Putrajaya, they are missing all the way for 2 hours.
Driving in Putrajaya is oil-consuming and wasting a lot of time.
Hi Mazai, you gotta be careful with such suggestions because it is just too simplistic. As a general rule, nature must always be allowed to take its course and when it doesn’t take the course that one wants, one must thoroughly examine why… not hastily introduce new legislation as a quick fix. Your suggestion may well give birth to numerous new problems. Going back to first principle is to me the safest and best way to solve any problem. This problem may well be due to more fundamental problems that, when solved, will make all secondary problems disappear automatically.
this matter need to be investigated before deducing to any conclusion. it could be due to the quality or may be also the quantity of ore produced by our country. but then again if investigated properly it could be different matter altogether.
Salam Tun,
Mohon maaf Tun,tersasar sikit.

Hello Tun,
As Proton adviser you might want to ask the management team to discuss the possibility of a local mill teaming up with proton and the mine. Alternatively, Tata are interested in working with Proton, they have extensive steel making experience, perhaps they could be persuaded to set up shop in Malaysia?
I’m interested in getting you onboard with the OU proposal utilising Lotus and Proton. Better education would certainly open peoples eyes to the benefits of ‘ADDING VALUE’ to raw materials.
Thanks for your time.

assalamualaikum,
Assalamualaikum Tun,
aren’t we generous? reminds me of the water agreement between Johor and Singapore.
Someone must have got the concession – then got a foreign party to operate the mine and extract the iron ores. Then take the iron ores out and sell back to our buyers at higher price.
Depa semua tak mau atau tak tahu buat sendiri….
Haiyah, kalau nak proses iron ore kena buat kerja la..Why don’t we just sell it. So much easier and profit is enough just by selling the ores. Somemore i got this mining consessions without tending, who’s going to compete with me. Its not like there would be another company who can mine and process the steel and be able to compete with exports price anyways.
My Salam to Tun and Tun Dr Hasmah.
If I may. ‘Checker’. You say that was hot? Hotter things are on the way. Tun is such an amazing person. He can raise topics so hot that it makes a volcano eruption a stroll at Hyde Park in the autumn.
Thank you Tun. Have a good day.
Dear all esp MHI,
Comissions taking is normal in trading business.
What do you expect – almost all mega project holders are comission takers.
Bersabarlah.

Sir,
I am sure there are good reasons for the present “odd” situation.
Let the market forces decide/ work by itself. It sure will, just give it time and stop tampering with market forces
The last thing we want is “crony capitalism” that can cause havoc and false market situations.
We don’t want a Proton like situation where the rakyat is burdened with approximately RM20,000.00 for every car they make and sell.
Dr. M, please enjoy your retirement.
Cheers.
Askum tun..memang menarik apa-apa yg tun tulis di blog ni,banyak yg saya dapat tau dari apa yg tun jelaskan disini.
Syockit comments are quite sharp. Could this phenonmenon be the same as that where Petronas exports high-grade oil and simultaneously import lower-grade oil for use in cars? Or could it be as what checker says, “Somebody need to make money in between.”
The comments in this post so far are really perceptive and an eye-opener for me in that participants in Tun’s blog can discuss an issue sensibly and professionally, sans the emotions, LOL. And I agree with checker that this is a “new topic that should cool everybody down for a while”. Yet this topic is something that requires some technical knowledge but it is good to share, whether be it our knowledge or even our ignorance, so long as we are not dogmatic in the case of the latter. We speak up, make some mistakes in the process, but we learn and grow together.
Tun,
As we know development require a massive amount of iron/steel and other materials. The ability for Malaysia to add value to its natural resources which are exported and used locally, will be beneficial to our country’s development in advancing technical knowledge and also reducing cost of imports. It also help us not be dependent on imports from other countries.
salam tun,
i didnt get to watch forum perdana last night-what a waste!
the way bussiness is done in “tanah melayu” has not changed in the last one hundred years i guess.i can say this through my grandfather’s experienced selling “getah keping” to the dutch in siak.the british was not happy about this and my grandfather ended up being jailed for selling what was his to whom he wanted to.this was then.
in today’s “satu malaysia” these practice/s is still happening.whether you are importing or exporting a product you can’t just choose “your” client unless someone/something from “somewhere” agrees with you.
aslam taslim to those that is arguing about “alkitab”

biasa la Tun…rakyat Malaysia yg kebulur pun byk tp bantuan makanan sampai kat negara luar ja…rancangan “bersamamu tv3” tak pernah kering bahan…nak buat camana…’kesengsaraan rakyat didahulukan, keuntungan sendiri diutamakan’…
i’m sure there’s a valid reason for it.
maybe it’s the quality or grade of the ore.
same story goes for our petrol, we have them but we export them due to better price/quality…..and we import the cheap crappy for our own usage
Salam,
Whatever it is, as long as these private industries do not go the way of Perwaja Steel (TDM’s brainchild) which caused the government to lose (or somebody siphoned it off) billions. However, now no one will ever know as Eric Chia has taken the secrets to his grave.

1. Well, Ayahanda Tun, in order to get the attention of the political parties
Nothing great about this.
As usual if malaysian mining try to sell their iron ore to the malaysian mill, i think, for sure the malaysian mill will ask for the rock bottom price. why? because the supplier is malaysian. if the supplier is australian or other country in this world, they do not mind to pay for higher price. AND THIS IS MALAYSIAN STANDARD.
same goes to the malaysian people. they pay malaysian salary very very cheap. but when come to mat saleh they pay 5 times or more complete with house, car etc. WHY? Because malaysian HR envy if malaysian got higher salary than them. ENOUGH N WAKE UP MALAYSIAN HR. THROW AWAY THE WORMS IN YOUR BRAIN. STOP THIS CRAP.
THE MAT SALLEH ISN’T BETTER THAN US. PERIOD.
YAB Tun,
Theory 1:
Selling iron ore to malaysian market probably bring less profit to millers. Export markets may offer higher price. Therefore, why should millers sell low price in domestic market? even with added value, the cost of production may be too high.
Theory2:
Demand will always be there from importing countries. If millers are willing to sell higher to foreign than to local steel related company, that is the fact of business operation. As long as there is profit. Profit.
Theory 3:
Reexport of iron ore. Buy low from foreign market, sell high to another desperate foreign market.
Theory4:
No need invisible hand to intervene the market. Let the market determine demand n supply. once gov step in, will create market distortion. too much gov intervention. if the gov is able to control, then maybe putting some controls may the right thing to do.
theory 5:
maybe excess supply of iron ore in the country due to steel makers producing below capacity. Stocking more iron ore won’t benefit them. therefore, sell iron ore to foreign markets to get instant profit without added value with no stock holding costs.
Let market determines demand and supply before gov intervene.
http://bajetwang.blogspot.com/ wishes the construction related industry will grow as before.
With skim pinjaman rumah pertama, it is a signal of many property overhang in the country especially in unfavorite location. even with SRP, none can afford housing in klang valley, jb, penang…(prime location)it relates to why maybe the millers are favoring export of iron ore rather than selling to domestic. due to sluggish construction sectors which affect demand for iron ore.
Dear Tun,
Ask your son, he’s the Deputy Minister of MITI. Perhaps you could suggest this to him.
Regards
Hafiz
Dear Tun
Well, you know that some of our business practices and policies sometimes does not make any sense at all. It would be common sense that if one is supplying iron ore that is sourced locally, one would be inclined to first sell it to the domestic market. Unless, the export has value-added or the export price is much higher than the domestic market price.
Nonetheless, if both parties, that is the domestic supplier and the domestic user, could work out a long-term price that is profitable to both parties, then a lot of our foreign exchange can be saved.
It is hoped that all parties involved, including our Government authorities, can work out a rational solution soon.
Tun, Thank you for giving us the opportunity to share our thoughts with you and all Malaysians.
Live long and prosper.
Best wishes

Tun, If what you have said is true it is really embarrassing. The attitude or thinking of our current leader is not much differ from some of the leaders in several years ago. Never want to work more, never want to think but more concern of quick money, the culture UMNO have created. They only focus on selling but not developing. Never bother of national interest. Never try to take care of local business.
I would like to suggest that all raw material especially mineral deposit should be classified as security items. Should only be processed in Malaysia In order to benefit from it value added.

Salam Tun,
Perhaps the same can be said of fruits, fish and perhaps even many other produce. There is indeed something very fishy about all this.
Pahang and Terenganu is obvious ( to me at least ).
It is well known and acknowledged that if we want to do something successful, we need to do it outside and “export” it back to Malaysia. “We” make much more profit that way. It is also much easier. There are so many things we can do with our own resources, but it is of course easier to just export them out. It does not require much thinking or much organising. No need for Science and Technology.
There is a very distinct “dishonesty” about many things in Malaysia. It is not a case of “might is right”, it is worse. It’s a case of “rich is right”.
And if or when combined with political power, it becomes absolutely devastating.
Thank You Tun.
Alam sekitar jangan ceritalah!
Dear Tun,
Thank you for being alert on such discrepancies. It would do better if Tun can write to the Prime Minister and copy to Director General of the relevant Ministry. Without fear or favour. The relevant officers may not read this blog.

Salam Tun & Fellow Bloggers,
New topic that should cool everybody down for a while after hot debated issue.
1. Tun, of course something is wrong but it is not suprising at all. Somebody need to make money in between. It has been like that until now and will likely to continue. It cannot easily be classified as corruption but purely business consideration. Those who is in the position has the power to decide.
However as frequently highlighted, corruption within the public sector is “rampant”. There are too many little Napoleans around who normally call the short. But do not overlook that similar thing are also happening in the private sector but nobody can coin the right term other than corruption because it was done purely in business consideration. Nothing wrong about that, is it really?.
2. It is all about interpretation what is right and what is wrong. Each appear to be different in technicality but morally it is also wrong. It is called white collar crime maybe because done by “honorable” men. It must also be recognised that usually, it will take 2 to tango, i.e private & public sector working hand-in-hand for mutual benefits at the expense of tax-payers money.
3. Take an example when an investment company in a Group of Companies selling quoted shares from their investment portfolios through a remaiser to another company in the same Group. Technically, there appear to be nothing wrong about that business transaction but morally? Why not sell directly between each other thus saving the commission in both ways, buyer & seller? As long as there is money-leakage to outside the Group, it is a loss to the Group. Can the decision maker be charged? On what possible ground? Well, the remaiser need to have the business too. Similarly, in the case mentioned by Tun, somebody in between need to earn money too. Who cares about the public interest.
4. This cannot easily be solved unless the people entrusted in their job are God fearing kind. They must not take what is not theirs. They must emphasise that ” kejar akhirat, dunia akan kejar kita” and not the other way round.
May Allah bless us all and show them the right path.
A case of left hand, not knowing what the right hand is doing. Maybe the government will wake up after reading Tun’s post.
Seems like Tun has a lot of verve still. I know that some Ministers work very much harder under Tun than now. But now is still better than under AAB. During Tun’s time, the staff of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry had to work overtime every day. No overtime pay for senior staff and no chance for replacement. During AAB’s era, they recoup back many times what they put in before… there’s a Cantonese saying, when you draw a picture, there is no need to fill in every detail, so I will just leave it at that. Is it any wonder then that even with the dismal 2008 election results and a step-down call by Tun (the only logical thing to do to save UMNO), the Ministers still support AAB? Who doesn’t like country-club management style of management where I scratch your back, you scratch mine. I ponteng, you cover for me, you ponteng, I cover for you, LOL.
As Salam,

yeah, the same thing happens on the Hot Roll Coil(HRC) industry which Megastell is the only monopoly set by our authority. Price price is ridiculously expensive than overseas market. At the end the final consumer bear the expensive cost while the Chairman of The Lion Group remains as top 25 Billionaires. Sugar industry, telecommunication industry, energy industry all have its only monopoly who set expensive price from overseas market. Well, our authority like to keep the 25 top billionaires instead of distributing the wealth to the 28 Billion people. Please help our country Tun!
Loving it Tun!! Something do smell fishy! Maybe it is to promote sustainability or green tech by our own ‘first lady’.who knows, but still, I think you hitting a jackpot here Tun. Awesome.
Assalamualaikum. Good day.
The best ores come from Brazil. Japan is known to import all the way across the globe in other to produce the finest steel. I am not aware of the Malaysia’s ore grade, nor do I know the state of the refining technology as to whether it is able to rid of various impurities found in low grade crude ore. It is very vital that a mill is able to extract iron in its purest as possible form in other to ensure output steel quality meets the required standard.
So, in a scenario where both the facts that Malaysia’s ore are too crude and the mills aren’t equipped with advanced refining technology, you can say everything is going as planned. Otherwise, feel free to attribute it to malice or incompetency.
