4. People may read, but they may not have the guts to understand what they read.

   DrM is a good friend of, and who even considers himself a brother to, Suharto, the most corrupt leader in the modern history.

   They share a common value in terms of political cronyism and style of leadership.

   Both are alleged to have siphoned billions of dollars from state wealth for their personal gain. Suharto held at least USD15 Billion under his account says a WSJ report.

   Will DrM too get his name listed as the top 10 most corrupted leader by his association with and his admiration for Suharto? Very likely, and understandably so.

   In contrast to DrM’s friendship with Suharto, we are witnessing King Salman’s friendship with Najib as a real-time affirmation of good standing for the Malaysian leadership.

   It is important who you are friends with. I believe King Salman would have avoided meeting Suharto and DrM.

   Who actually is running down the nation? They are the very people who glorify thieving and lying and gave white lies as excuses to cover-up their bad deeds. Their main roles in the 1MDB financial scandals and RM2.6billion ‘donation’ saga have shamefully placed Malaysia in the chart of corrupted countries.

   Malaysia should not have been on the record any where in any downgraded chart in the first place. Since our founding ‘fathers’ of yesteryears, Malaysia has worked so hard to be a successful democratic country run by the dominant Malay-Umno whose leadership were evidently trustworthy, honest with great integrity. But after being in power for too long – greed set in and the temptation to cheat and lie became too great to resist thus so agitated the seeds of downfall of a nation. Any country in the chart of corrupted countries translates into corrupted leadership which eventually lead to a fail state, fail because the economy will not grow as money meant to develop a nation has gone into their personal pockets.

   Unfortunately Malaysia is listed in the chart because she is run by these corrupted MalayUmno leaders who are so loyal and obedient (for the wrong reasons), they would do anything to save their positions that would stay them in power – power means making wealth. MalayUmno has taught the Malays to be so materialistic – have this have that, take this take that – it has become the food of live, without them the Malays cannot survive, so they say and the unfortunate un-informed Malays believe what are fed to them. Is this how the Malays want to live?

   They can sweet-talk some of the kampong folks and suburban Malays some of the time but not all of them all the time. It’s time Malaysia needs a thorough check-up and given a large dose of antibiotics by The Doctor in the House to kill off the bad germs. May Malaysia be free from these bad corrupted germs forever.

    I do not know about Chinese religious beliefs whether they can marry more than one or not as I’m not the expert. I do not know also why many Chinese have a small red house which they pray upon everyday…. No I do not know, so I do not like to talk about it.

    For a Muslim, do not forget, once a women officially married to a man, she has equal rights to every other wifes that particular man has. Unlike mistresses, they can come and go and can be replaced easily without having the burden of paying alimony or anything as such… which we know many of our upscale community members are practicing now.

    Again, please refrained from talking things which we do not know.

    We are in the front group, and so looking Good, that the Chinese and the Arabs are wooing us like there’s no tomorrow – with billions and billions of FDI’s – just like they do in the UK, Australia, Europe or wherever they can find a healthy returns on their investments.

    To the investors, it is simple economics not U-Turnomics.

    Now, I’m beginning to really wonder how much FDI from China and Saudi Arabia that our good doctor in the house managed to clip together during his 22 years as the PM?

    I really don’t know what to say-lah. But the more important question for you to ask yourself is, WHY they avoid DrM like a deadly virus back then, and even now?

    Anosognosia: The Most Devastating Symptom of Mental Illness

    Mental illness comes in many forms. Depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and the anxiety disorders all have the potential to be crippling, and ruin lives. Yet as terrible as depression, mania, psychosis, and the other symptoms of these disorders can be, there is one that stands out as the most damaging of all:

    Anosognosia

    This obscure word, which is pronounced “uh-no-sog-no-zha,” means “denial of illness,” and is more serious than you might think.

    Most people understand the psychological concept of denial, which is a refusal to believe an uncomfortable truth. Who hasn’t heard heard a heavy drinker, eater, smoker, or drug user say, “I can quite any time I want,” or someone with a chronic cough (which may indicate a serious illness) say, “It’s not important–It’s just a cough.” Pressing the denier on the obvious gap between reality and his belief typically yields a flurry of thin excuses that support his position, and can provoke an outburst of anger if continued long enough.

    Denial serves a useful purpose in helping people cope with sudden change, and is harmless as long as it is not maintained too long. Denial becomes harmful when it interferes with a person’s ability to cope effectively with the challenges he faces. Fortunately, denial is temporary in most cases, and even chronic deniers can can learn better over time.

    Anosognosia is quite different. It is not simply denial of a problem, but the genuine inability to recognize that the problem exists. It is a common consequence of brain injuries, and occurs to varying degrees in such disorders such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and Alzheimer’s disease. (I hasten to add that “common” does not mean “universal!” Most people who suffer from these illnesses are quite aware that they are sick.)

    Someone who has anosognosia isn’t being difficult, or refusing to face the truth. He is literally unable to believe that his illness is, in fact, an illness. As a result, he does not see any reason to take medication that can control his illness. Many people who have anosognosia will refuse to take medication for schizophrenia or bipolar disorder, because they do not believe they are ill. If pushed, they may give the appearance of cooperation, while secretly discarding their medication.

    In the case of paranoid schizophrenia, where the patient believes others are conspiring to harm him or control his life, the combination of anosognosia and paranoia can provoke the him to violent action in an attempt to escape his “persecutors.” (Sadly, the often debilitating side effects of antipsychotic medication, which, unlike his illness, are all too apparent to the patient, provide supporting evidence for his beliefs.)

    For a symptom with such an obscure name, anosognosia plays a prominent role in both law and medicine. Treatment for most illnesses is taken at the discretion of the patient, who is free to seek, select, or decline treatment, as he considers appropriate. However, there are times when the individual’s right to control his medical treatment conflicts with other important principles, namely, the sanctity of life, and the protection of others from harm. A person who is in the grip of a severe psychotic episode, who is judged likely to harm himself or someone else, may legally be committed to a psychiatric hospital for evaluation and treatment, on an involuntary basis. Such treatment usually consists of antipsychotic or mood-stabilizer medications, observation, and possibly restraint.

    Most patients who are prone to psychosis (primarily, those with schizophrenia) do not have any particular desire to harm other people. The danger comes not from a desire to harm, but from hallucinations and delusions that can drive violent actions. (For example, a patient may sincerely believe he is fighting for his life against an evil force, when in reality he is attacking an innocent person.) So it is not surprising that patients who are aware of the nature of their illness, and the risk of such harm, generally do prefer treatment to prevent violent incidents. Similarly, patients who have anosognosia about their psychotic symptoms, but whose behavior is harmless, may not have a need for medication that justifies removal of their right to make decisions about their treatment

    However, those psychotic patients who are at risk for committing violent acts, and also have anosognosia, are both dangerous, and unable to believe that anything is wrong with them. Because of this belief, they will refuse treatment, and remain dangerous. These are the patients whose right to control their own treatment conflicts with the right of others to safety.

    In the end, each case must be handled on its own merits, and someone must make the difficult calls–and be prepared to live with the consequences. It is because of anosognosia that such calls must be made.

    If you probed further, Malaysia actually ranks TOP 5, that’s right TOP FIVE. That was when Pak Lah (2003-2009) and Najib (2009 – present) were PM. Can you believe it? Corruption since “Mr Clean” took office?

    Mr. Najib took the opportunity of King Salman’s visit to Malaysia by claiming that when even oil-rich Saudi had increased its fuel price by 50%, Malaysians should be grateful over a small 20 sen hikes. The cunning Najib deliberately hides the fact that before the hike, Saudis pay only US$0.16 a litre and has gone up to US$0.24 a litre after the hike.

    At US$0.24 a litre or RM1.06 a litre of petrol / gasoline, Saudis are paying 117% lesser than Malaysians, who now pay RM2.30 a litre of RON95. Najib also conveniently didn’t explain how the unfortunate Saudis enjoy free healthcare, free schooling, zero income tax, public pensions, subsidized water and electricity, and even unemployment benefits.

    Our leaders should always hold in their mind, “Leadership by Good Example”. Always show patriotism. Love the country. Don’t ever commit corruption.

    Worth to note, despite National Audit Department’s audit report showing incidences of abuse and misuse of resources, many governmental agencies heads are still kept in their power, as if their post is something granted and untouchable.

    Government should sack the government agencies heads who have committed wrongdoings, to alert others to maintain good discipline in not committing corruption or misuse of resources. Don’t ever treat the audit report as just for formality and ignorable!

    The last administration of Mahathir was number 33 least corrupt , today it is number 54 least corrupt and the trend is frightening increasing.

    But isn’t this claim ridiculous? (for those who believe in that claimant, I will still not use big words like idiotic to describe them)

    Purportedly, Malaysia is ranked 29 notches ‘less corrupt’ than China on the Corruption Perceptions Index reported by Transparency International.

    Keadaan Malaysia zaman sekarang agak menakutkan dgn Tun sendiri pun diorang bole menyatakan mcm2 infact betul kata pepatah “kacang lupa kan kulit”. Dengan berkuasa as PM dia bole ckp apa2 utk menegak kan benang yg dah basah.     It seems Najib is much harder to dislodge than I expect – he is blind, deaf and mute when it comes to 1MDB. Meanwhile his sycophants seize every opportunity to spread their alternative facts.

    The problem with Malaysia is not just Najib and UMNO, it is the apathetic rakyat. These people do not care if their country and resources are being sold of not for the benefit of the current and future generation of rakyat, but for the privileged politically connected few. Wonder if these people will behave the same if a burglar entered and ransacked their house
