MCA IN CABINET

1. Helen Ang, in an open letter criticised me for welcoming MCA’s decision to rejoin the BN cabinet. She pointed out that the MCA won only 7 seats while DAP won 39 seats. The MCA therefore does not represent the Chinese.

2. The BN is a coalition of like-minded political parties. They may represent their race or they may not. But they believe in the creed of sharing the wealth and the political power of this country between the different races.

3. The DAP does not believe in sharing between the races. It believes in meritocracy – the best takes all, and the devil takes the hindmost.

4. DAP knows that for example on a basis of merit the indigenous people of Malaysia would stand little chance of winning a fair number of the scholarships. This will deny them the opportunity for improving their station in life.

5. Chinese parents can afford to send their children for university education at home and abroad. With Government scholarships largely going to them their numbers would even be bigger. Less number of indigenous people parents cannot afford to support their children for university education.

6. Currently the Chinese dominate the economy and own a large portion of the wealth. Even with the NEP the gap in wealth between Bumis and non-Bumis is very wide. Prior to the NEP, the Bumis who make up the 60% of the people own only 2% of the wealth. Even as Bumis’ wealth grows through NEP schemes, Chinese wealth with a higher base would grow faster. The disparity in wealth ownership would get worse.

7. At the moment the UMNO Malays seem to dominate politics. They are willing to share some political power with the Chinese and Indians. For this they are willing to give up some of their constituencies to their partners and to vote for them. Their political strength balances somewhat their lower economic power.

8. The DAP is bent on seizing political power from UMNO without giving up any economic dominance. It believes that through meritocracy and the split among the Malays it can do this.

9. The DAP does not want to join the BN coalition because of its Malay majority. In 1969 it was invited but when everyone else accepted, DAP refused. It rejects totally the concept of sharing with other races, unless the Chinese dominate completely in politics as they dominate in the economy.
10. Its willingness to work with PAS and PKR is simply because it needs their votes. It may even accept a PM from PAS or PKR. But as shown in the Pakatan Government in Perak, the DAP controlled the PAS-led Pakatan Government. The DAP will control the PM if Pakatan wins. PAS and PKR knowing what they are and will always be totally dependent on DAP and Chinese votes, will accept being subservient to the DAP.

11. The MCA maybe small. That is because it cannot counter DAP‘s racist politics. It knows very well that its commitment to share wealth and political power with UMNO Malays will cause it to lose Chinese support. But it still believes in the sharing concept of BN.

12. This is a multiracial country. No one race can have both economic wealth and political power. For so long as each, wish to retain their ethnicity, the sharing of political and economic power between races will be necessary. Until everyone is totally identified with this country, and everyone shares fairly political and economic power the fact of race cannot be ignored.

13. Whether the DAP has more Chinese support than the MCA is irrelevant. What is relevant and important is the rejection of dominance by any race and the willingness to share wealth and political power fairly between the races.

14. I therefore welcome the decision of the MCA to rejoin the BN cabinet.

  1. Salam Tun.

Kemudian dengan muka tembok dia mengajak semua pengunjung chedet “come f_c_ my mother’s a_s”.

  2. HBT456,

ape susah if I am ISMA. all i do is apologize like u guys selalu buat ma.

Settle. Ckp bende kasi org melayu marah pastu apologize. Then repeat balik. U boleh buat why we cannot

  3. Cincai, kat mainland china, mereka dah berjaya membawa wonders of the world pakai duit hasil peluh dan darah rakyat untuk mengembangkan eknomi mereka. Hari ini, dah basi jika cincai masih cakap pasal sin taxes of arak dan rokok. Yesterday, china talks about research, today they talk about cross culture. Tomorrow, they will talk about world climate. Tu apanama, acting democrat president who fully support world climate, selepas bill clinton didapati salah langkah moral, who came to malaysia in the 90s lost his bid to presidency because he ignored christian SISTER call on bullies that gave opportunity to bush jr to serang iraq atas nama 911. If umno baru punya AG di putrajaya masih tidak bertindak kepada bullies pakai isma, umno baru will loose in ge14. Kaum china tak suka gaduh atau berperang kerana sejarah bagi tahu peperangan hanya bawa kemusnahan negara. Japan learned their lesson, americans learned their lesson, what about putrajaya?

  4. Today, some ungrateful dan mudah lupa melayu pakai topeng isma telling the world that has gone viral in internet accusing the chinese do not pay tax. If isa is not abolish, isma can be charged under isa today under federal constitution.

  5. Tun

At times like this, the turmoil in our friend’s Thailand and worms trying to upset our beloved Malaysia which all of us loyal and hardworking citizens have toiled not only since 1957 but also for centuries before this, IT IS TIME WE ALL STAND PROUD, STRONG AND UNITED TO FACE WHATEVER CRISES WHICH HAVE BEFALLEN US. NO MORE. NO LESS.

We should be CONFIDENT WITH SELF ESTEEM that our large MIDDLE INCOME GROUP OF MALAYS TOGETHER WITH THE CHINESE AND INDIANS OF A SIMILAR ILK recognise and appreciate the hard-work and fore-sight of their forefathers and political leaders like the Tun because future generations of leaders will come from the MIDDLE INCOME GROUP. This is the heart and soul of a credible Nation which is our beloved Malaysia.

To evolve to a better level of human endeavour is a must in all Humankind activities. This must be a given for us all MALAYSIANS. And the bulwark of our endeavour ?

YES ! ALL OUR ICONS THE ROYAL SULTANS, THE CONSTITUTION, THE BN GOVERNMENT, THE JUDICIARY, THE DEWAN RAKYAT AND DEWAN NEGARA, AND OF COURSE THE RAKYAT. This success in our political milieu can only work for the benefit of all with a MALAY BIAS which means THE MALAY MONARCHY AND THE MALAYS WITH THE HERITAGE AND LEGACIES in a happy harmonious and prosperous association with the Chinese, Indians and all. WE SHOULD THROW AWAY THE PANDORA’S BOX of the OPPOSITION !

THIS HAS TAKEN PLACE FOR CENTURIES. THIS HAS TAKEN PLACE UNDER ALL THE BN LEADERS with varying degrees of wisdom and vision and by the Royal Sultans before them.

AND WE WILL HOLD HANDS AND STAND PROUD AND UNITED TO FEND OFF LITTLE OR BIG SLIMY SPINELESS WORMS WHO WILL PARASITE ON US IN A MOMENT OF WEAKNESS, like selling our grandmothers down river for free by the Government !

WE SHOULD NOT PERMIT OUR BELOVED MALAYSIA TO CRACK-UP. WE WILL NOT PERMIT OUR BELOVED MALAYSIA TO CRACK-UP AT THE INSTIGATION OF LITTLE OR BIG SLIMY SPINELESS WORMS. FACTS AND TRANSPARENCY WILL DETER THEM.

We stand with our beloved Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, a true Malaysian Nationalist – A MALAY ! And he is no WORM BUT A GREAT STATEMAN OF ASIA AND THE WORLD who speaks home-truths which are unpalatable to esoteric interests.

  6. Mca does not contest in bukit gelugor is the wisest choice in today’s political climate to show us that mca is a party representing all malaysians of different faith except muslim. A lot of mere speculations down there that say penang may declare themselve an independent state like singapore. After 40 yrs behind singapore, there is no way for them to go for this because the legacy of dap national chairman is to maintain the federal constitution.

The best way for penang ruling party of dap or gerakan party is to preseverse the multi diversity of traditions and cultures according to the world herritage left by the british.

Indeed, penang is the pearl of malaya that must be preserved at all cost by the federal government.

P.S. nasi kandar in penang is still the best.

  7. Salam YAB & Yg diKasihi Tun,

    Terima kasih Tun.

*** Semoga Allah SWT sentiasa melindungi Tun sekeluarga. ***

  8. Salam Tun,
    Salam geng chedet..

Hari2 semua orang cerita pasal melayu, cina, Islam, bumiputra, cukai, bla bla bla bla bla bla…..

Kalau kaum/parti/ agama yang lain rasa tak puas hati, ataupun Singaporeans macam ahso rasa dengki , go **C* yourself.

Dua bulan lepas Theressa Kok (tek), berbahas di Parlimen untuk mengharamkan sebuah website Anti DAP, atas alasan website tersebut menghasut bangsa Melayu untu BoikotBaranganCinaDap. ?. Konon macam hero penyatuan Kaum.. Tapi tak sampai 2 bulan hal ni berlaku, ia sendiri bikin video panas (bukan video lucah), yang menghina dan menghasut… Satu Malaysia pun dah tau… so sendiri pikirlah kawan…

(yak payah sebut siapa2, u all sudah tahu siapa.) Hehehe..

    Cincai cincai bagi sama u…
    Sekian, terima kasih Tun..

It is so surprising that some Malaysian Blogs are not aware that the Singaporean Trojan Horse DAP and the brilliant Lee Kuan Yew with the 17 failed Policies is one and the same thing. Like the MCA, they are scared to say anything negative about the brilliant Lee Kuan Yew. I told them IF THEY WANT TO DO MALAYSIAN POLITICS THEY MUST ALSO DO THE POLITICS OF THE BRILLIANT LEE KUAN YEW. This is the GEMINI TWINS OF MALAYSIAN POLITICS – DAP-LEE KUAN YEW . Why ?

    1. In 1966, the Singaporean Trojan Horse DAP was founded by the brillliant Lee Kuan Yew and the retreating Singaporeans. The record shows that its intention was to shout ‘Malaysia for Malaysians’ and do things which might bring about this change contrary to the Malaysian Consititution. But lawyers have always said that possession is 9/10 of the law. So, these lawyers turned politicians definitely are aware what they are shouting about !

    2. In June, 2009, the brilliant Lee Kuan Yew made his ill-advised Grand Tour of the Ulus to exhort his digits, cohorts, spies, minions etc. This act puzzled me for sometime because he made this trip at 85 when even his most hardy supporters and family avoid Malaysia like poison. The the TPPA poisoned chalice for Malaysia, popped out after 4 years of secrecy. Everything fell into place. When he visited the hot and humid ULUS, he already had President Obama’s agreement to revive the Singapore inspired and created TPPA in 2006 in his pocket ! This explains much.

    3. Spying on the sexuall peccadilloes of prominent Malaysians since 1972 and the information passed on to Third Parties. If the information is not for a purpose, it cannot be pornography for fun !

Just these three acts of the brilliant Lee Kuan Yew alone tie THE POLITICS OF MALAYSIA AND THE OUTSIDE INTERFERENCE BY SINGAPORE TOGETHER LIKE THE GEMINI TWINS. How can anyone denies and pretends that the brilliant Lee Kuan Yew is not out to conquer and control our beloved Malaysia for the everlasting survival of Singapore. This is his legacy the poisoned chalice TPPA for Malaysia to finish off the heritage and legacies of the Malays, the main road-block. The Chinese and Indians and all will go as well.

And yet in the 21st Century the majority of the Malaysian Chinese is so ignorant who their real enemy is that they voted over 90% en bloc for DAP hoping to get the brilliant Lee Kuan Yew.

Furthermore, pro-Singaporean slanted news on Malaysian Politics had a specail page in the Straits Times for many decades up to 2014. BUT THE SINGAPORE BUSINESS TIMES SUDDENLY STOPPED THEIR POMPOUS AND SANCTIMONOUS ADVICE BY JUNIOR STAFFERS BASED IN KL TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IN JANUARY 2012.

If we carefully study the NEW STRAITS TIMES STREET CENTRAL SUPPLEMENT PAGE 8, MARCH 8, 2014, we will know why.

A moment of weakness by a Thai leader brought our friend Thailand on its knees from outside interference.

IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT OUR BELOVED MALAYSIA AT THIS TIME AND AGE MUST RECOGNISE WHO ARE HER FRIENDS AND WHO ARE HER ENEMIES.

    Man proposes. God disposes.

  10. http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/262532

ISMA is no different from those parents who brought their children to street demonstration. The difference here is ISMA pakai internet for political propaganda. Opposition parties buat salah kena charge, ruling parties buat salah tak perlu charge?

  11. sharing principle yes. but if One does not want to share but still pretend to be sharing as what MCA is doing while at the same time having no real interest in helping BN, what would that say about sharing principle?

does justice only apply to you? we were also denied justice when promises were made and not honoured.

Dear Tun what do you say to the recent development, MCA wont contest in Bukit Gelugor?

if MCA just wanna be cancer, we might as well remove it while its still in its 2nd phase.

  12. Agree principle of sharing is basic, not only to BN but also humanity and, if I might say, the Judeo-Christian heritage to which Ms Ang belongs.

Pointing to 7 seats vs 39 while ignoring social sins which oppress the majority – how does that contribute to ‘doing justice, loving kindness, and walking humbly with your God?

I believe the dimensions of LORD’s measure of justice is larger than ours.

Our battle lines have been fogged, due to deceitful tongues in our midst. We who try to be pious have to be clear about what constitute’s piety.

  13. Dearest YAB Tun,

MCA leaders must not make any comments on HUDUD and Islam/Malay – just shut up. Let DAP do that job. Their comments are not going to assist in making Malaysia more harmony; they will only add to racial tension.

    Thanks Tun.

*** May Allah SWT bless Tun and family ***

  14. Salam Tun.

I am with Helen Ang not to put MCA in the cabinet, however for totally different reasons.

The vast majority Chinese believed that the PRU13 has all the ingredients to present them the grand opportunity to rule Malaysia by proxy, very optimistic the Malay votes will be evenly split thus giving the Chinese the single largest reps in the PR government. Even with just 40% Malay votes were to choose the PR, BN will still lose the Parliament. Unfortunately for those Chinese ingrates, only just over 30% Malays voted for the opposition and the BN scraped through.

PKR winners clearly show their Malay reps only form the minority who are only interested to manipulate every issue into political gimmick, 99% of the DAP winners are with pure non-Malay blood, and PAS reps are merely amateurs still trying to convince everyone of their presence. The Chinese will actually rule if PR wins.

Every sensible Malay has clearly noted the renowned proxy king called Nizar Jamaludin who was only interested and happy to be known “I’m the MB”, thus sufficient Malay voters in Perak made a turnaround and ensured BN turned the tables, depriving the PR a repeat performance of PRU12.

Since the MCA has repeatedly decided not to be included in the cabinet, and furthermore the large majority of Chinese have rejected MCA, they are OUT.
The Chinese can’t have the best of both worlds forever, which they have continuously enjoyed since before independence.

To those Chinese ingrates that have always believed Anwar maniac can fool all of his followers all of the time, wake up!
A 10% turnaround of Selangor Malay voters to go for BN will suffice to change the state into zero Chinese reps in the state’s next government.

  15. Salam Tun,

Just to add on the talents list that we have produced which are not limited to one race. Let’s not label us by the race and call us all Malaysian. Here is another good example of top world class professional (Tan Sri Dr Yahya Awang) that we have produced in which Tun entrusted his life to him and his team instead of turning to overseas medical treatment. Being a doctor yourself, Tun knows the risk and the decision that you took back then. This decision is not taken lightly and Tun has shown us that “Malaysia Boleh” is not just a mere slogan but it’s something achievable by promoting and entrusting the best capable person to the right job.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZw2tDtEzGQ

Once again, I wish Tun the very best of health in many years to come.

  16. Salam Tun,

Allow me to share my point of view.

    1. Tun can ignore the letter from Helen Ang. Number of seats won is not / should not be the only determining factor of who will be part of the government. That being said, it does need to be considered. The question is how to maintain the balance. And, it is up to the prerogative of the captain.

    2. There is everything to gain from Politically and economically in doing that. I believe more Chinese votes will come back. BUT, if our country is continuing in the course that we are going, I do NOT foresee there is a big change. The only way to be able to woo the votes back is to show their people that the current government can be entrusted with this responsibility.

    3. I am not convinced that meritocracy is bad. This is similar to the earlier article that Tun wrote on Democracy. It is only bad when it is implemented without limits, responsibility and accountability. I believe that Tun will agree on this; judging from the action toward the end of Tun’s administration towards bringing in some form of meritocracy by easing University admission based on racial ratio in certain department. By doing this, it is hoped that our fellow Malay will start to learn to compete with others and let them stand on their own feet. Very good move. Any change needs to be gradual and results needs to be monitored

    4. Government Overseas Scholarships should not only be based on results but also the applicants financial/economic background. Both factors will determine who is the successful candidate. It is not fair to say turn away a talented citizen as a result of his/her race or his/her family political connections and not based on their needs. Monitoring to make sure that the scholarships are not dominated by one race is also necessary. More weight should be given to results, followed by financial background and then racial background. Maybe we are already doing this. If this is true, any opposition party trying to gain political mileage by disputing certain application can be easily tackled. We should groom our best of cream in every race (for overseas “assignment”/”training”) and therefore, most weight would need to be on the applicant’s results but not ignoring the financial background of the applicant if there is two similar challenger for the same one vacancy.

    5. On local scholarships, the weight on the applicant’s result could be less and more on the financial background of the applicant without one race dominating all the scholarships. Statistically, I believe we would have quite proportionate number of successful applicants in each race.

    6. Lowering the result for one specific race too much just because of we are trying to reduce the disparity will have its side effects. This is probably the easier way out to get the fastest result but should not be the long term solution.

    7. The long term solution and key is in our education system. How do we identify the best headteacher? And, how to we encourage and mobilize the best teacher/headteacher to the area that requires attention (esp. rural areas)?

    8. How does the Education Ministry assist and give flexibility and authority to these headteacher to bring forward changes to these schools? How do we assess the performance of the school, head teachers without burdening the teachers with all these administrative work and let them focus on how to help the students? It needs to be an independent body going around each school to assess it from different area and the reports made available to monitor the progress. Example of these independent body in the below.
    http://www.ofsted.gov.uk/inspection-reports/find-inspection-report

    9. Forget about all these so-call Smart School, etc. The British has left us with a pretty decent education system which is recognized around the world such as University Malaya which has produced some of the world class professionals such as Liver Transplant Surgeon Dr. KC Tan, Dr. Tan Chong Tin (Leading the major breakthough in the Nipah Virus discovery), many more (from those 70s).

    10. Where do we stand today? If Tun have not read this news recently, our Education Minister just mentioned that these global varsity ranking is nothing to be concerned about. Well Done! Keep it up…

    11. With this kind of mentality and leader heading such an important institution, the light in this dark tunnel is quite far away and yet to be seen.

  17. Quote ahso bingai {Chitchat, hari ini ko melawan, ko ajar anak2mu melawan, besok anak2mu ajar cucu2 mu melawan, lusa, cucu2mu ajar cicit2mu melawan. Jadi, pabila you lihat kampungmu masih tidak mengembang, jangan marah Tuhan}

do practice ur bahasa more. your insult doesn’t come out as one, it came out funny hahaha.

  20. Begini lah ringkasnya………

Selepas kejadian 13 Mei 1969………

  21. Tun

Since HockBengTeohhalfpastsic has so much time on his/her hands, I request him/her to identify all the spies in the pictures and descriptions in the New Straits Times Supplement ‘Steet Central’ Page 8, March 8, 2014 – the diplomats, the military attaches, the important Civil Servants, the journalists, the swallows, the ducks, the socialites, etc. No baksheesh for full marks.

As I mentioned before, our beloved KL is now the World’s centre for espionage. Everyone is welcome and we have overtaken Bangkok’s and Singapore’s role during the Cold War. 1948 – 1989.

  22. Helen Ang, in an open letter criticised me for welcoming MCA’s decision to rejoin the BN cabinet. She pointed out that the MCA won only 7 seats while DAP won 39 seats. The MCA therefore does not represent the Chinese.

Since these are true confession of DAP leaders
DAP meant for the Chinese ,Its a Racists Party , a non Democratic Party
The Malay , the Indian MUST NOT acknowledge it
Yet they are trying hard to get the support of the malays & the indian for their benefits
Once they get it ! You had it !

ISA will be Reborn by DAP

As much you can see in Lim Kit Siang facebook picture
Is all those malay kampung kids who knows nothing
Lim Kit Siang misleads us as if they like him
What behind him We mature adults knows

  23. This is to maintain political stability, and ts willian cheng is one the pioneer of nep too. Without his support, malaysia can never come this far.

  24. Can mca send someone at the frederal level to hear the fear of local steel industry of ts william cheng so that his fear is being passed to miti?

  25. Sentinel3, you can vote bn or pr, it wont affect the chinese here. It is really wasting taxpayer monies to teach old cats with new tricks.

  26. Chitchat, hari ini ko melawan, ko ajar anak2mu melawan, besok anak2mu ajar cucu2 mu melawan, lusa, cucu2mu ajar cicit2mu melawan. Jadi, pabila you lihat kampungmu masih tidak mengembang, jangan marah Tuhan.

  27. Tun,

    Izinkan saya menjawap tulisan sitinur,

Quote, “Sebagai marhein terasa panas membara mcm masa dollah..maseh perlu ke kami ni sokong umno kalu pemimpinnya cakap tak serupa bikin….”

    Salam Tun.

  28. Tun

I consider the Federation of Malaysia is a great success in human terms. Forget about personal power ambitions. Forget about the nitty-gritty, Devil in the details etc.

Of course, nothing is perfect but a comparison with the rest of the World on the success of our beloved Malaysia since the beginning of time and now with the manual of the Malaysian Constitution to drive our Malaysian Democracy forwards and EVEN OVERTAKE THE SINGAPORE OF THE BRILLLIANT LEE KUAN YEW WITH HIS 15 FAILED POLICIES IN THE PRESENCE OF MOST OF THE PLAYERS IN THIS MALAYSIAN-SINGAPOREAN CAUSEWAY SHAKESPEAREAN ACT should be something to be marvelled at by our small small World.

Let the naysayers and the spies now drop out of the woodworks in droves into extinction.

OUR BELOVED MALAYSIA IS THE HOME, THE HOMELAND OF THE MALAYS AND THE BUMIPUTRAS AND THE MALAYSIANS OF CHINESE, INDIAN AND ALL ORIGINS. LET US NOT BE HYPOCRITICAL. THIS IS A FACT. AND UNDERLINING THIS FACT IS THE COMPLETE RECORD OF ALL OUR SUCCESSES AND FAILURES.

SEE HOW FOREIGN INTERFERENCE DISRUPTED OUR FRIENDS THE THAIS AND THAILAND ? Are we to permit such under-handed tricks like the Singaporean inspired and created TPPA of 2006 to do US ALL IN.

WE HAVE BETTER BRAINS THAN THIS HOLLOW BEHAVIOUR !

We must always remember like our successive Prime Ministers that our beloved Malaysia has come so far because OF THE IRON PYRAMID OF MALAYSIAN DEMOCRACY. In the days of old centuries ago, the Royal Sultans held sway right through the present day but now democratised with the Consititution and its ICONS WHICH SHOULD NEVER BE REMOVED OR DESTROYED but maybe evolved into more modern forms.

AT THE TOP OF THE PYRAMID IS THE GOVERNMENT OF THE DAY LED BY THE PRIME MINISTER FROM HERE THE GOODIES IN INCREASING VOLUME AND VALUE MUST FLOW DOWN TO THE RAKYAT OR PROLETARIAT. Since 2003, goodies were seen to defy Newton’s Law of Gravity and flowed to the tip of the pyramid.

IT WAS THE GOODIES FOR THE RAKYAT WHICH HELD THE CONSTITUTION AND THE NATION TO TOGETHER. The moment this formula is forgotten MALAYSIA IS VERY DIFFICULT TO GOVERN. AND SOME WISE GUYS WANT TO CREATE AND OPEN A PANDORA’S BOX. THIS IS SHEER MADNESS PLUS PLUS !

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad is the great implementor of this hallowed formula of how to rule Malaysia for 22 years in peace, harmony and prosperity. And he brought up THE MIDDLE INCOME MALAY GROUP WHICH IN TURN THE NON-MALAY MIDDLE INCOME GROUP WITHOUT WHICH OUR GREAT NATION HAS NO POLITICAL STABILIZER OR BALLAST WHICH WE THANKFULLY HAVE TODAY. Let us all open our eyes to see, our ears to hear and OUR MINDS TO THINK !

HENCE, THE EFFECTIVENESS AND THE PROMISES OF THE MCA IS AS GOOD AS THE POWERFUL GUY AT THE TIP OF THE PYRAMID. But the understanding of the levers of POWER CAN EITHER MAKE ONE VERY POWERFUL AND STRANGE TO SAY VERY WEAK.

On power, I met a Minister of Finance once and he showed me ALL THE INCOME TAX EVASION FILES IN HIS DRAWER WHICH HE NEVER USED BUT THE PERPETRATORS KNEW and they were loyal to a T to this wise Minsiter of Finance ! DO NOT KILL THE GOOSE THAT LAYS THE GOLDEN EGG !

HENCE THE MCA ROLE IS NOT TO PLAY COURT JESTER AND SAY THEY DID NOT KNOW WHEN IT COMES TO A CRUNCH BUT TO HELP OUT THEIR COALITION PARTNERS WELL IN ADVANCE OF ANY CRISES AND ADVISE WITH WISDOM ACCORDINGLY. No more. No less. These folks have already been alleged to have provided unqualified and uneducated leaders and leadership since 1951. It is recorded in HISTORY !

AS LONG AS THE MCA PLAYS A NORMAL ROLE IN SUPPORT OF THE BN AS LED BY THE UMNO WITH ITS 15 COALITION PARTNERS WITH A CLEAR UNDERSTANDING WHAT COMMUNAL POLITICS MEAN AND OPERATE, WE WILL SUCCEED. AND THE MCA MUST UPDATE ALL THE STATISTICS OF OUR NATION FROM AT LEAST 1820 !

AND SHOULD NOT SPEND SO MUCH TIME ENJOYING 10-COURSE CHINESE DINNERS IN TIMES OF AUSTERITY !

The ancient saying, ” A Mandrin should retire with empty sleeves ” holds sways for all political Chinese, from the BRILLIANT TO THE STUPID ! And from the West, I pluck ” THE MCA LEADERSHIP (underlined) SHOULD BE LIKE CAESAR’S WIFE BEYOND REPROACH. ”

NO MORE EXCUSES FOR THE MCA LEADERSHIP – just behave NORMALLY ( no need many Stars from Cambridge U ) and HOLISTICALLY ( I copy ) AND WE WILL ALL BE THERE AND ONWARDS FOR AT LEAST ANOTHER 50 YEARS.

There are all sorts of indices but not one on the successes of Nations yet !

    MAN PROPOSES. GOD DISPOSES.

  29. Tuntuah, Pusat Kerajaan Persekutuan Putrajaya, and all Sultan takes turn to be Agong in every 5 years in the NEW ISTANA under taxpayer monies. Therefore, Malaysia cant have 2 sets of law under the Federal Constitution and Rukun Negara. In every 5 years, we will have general election. There is no way BN can maintain 2/3 majority in the peninsula again. As I said, if these opportunists hive Islamophobia, there are not only terrorizing all the heads of State Sultan, they are threatening non-Muslim and foreign ambassadors in the country. Please dont make our official religion a tool to win only Malay votes just to be lobbied to hold ministry position for government projects. The era of Government knows all is over.

  30. 1. Helen Ang, in an open letter criticised me for welcoming MCA’s decision to rejoin the BN cabinet. She pointed out that the MCA won only 7 seats while DAP won 39 seats. The MCA therefore does not represent the Chinese.

SHE IN FACT ADMITTING MCA LOSE NOT BECAUSE OF UMNO FAIL
SHE IS ADMITTING RACISTS IS TRUE
DAP WON BY CHINESE VOTES BECAUSE THE MCA IS CHINESE

    ITS A CLEAR PICTURE HERE
    ITS NONE DENIABLE
PERHAPS VETERAN MCA JOIN UMNO FOR SECURITY REASONS
    NOT MORE OF SUPPORTING UMNO
NOW THEY FEEL THEY HAVE THE BREATH
    WITH DAP QUIET INFLUENCE
THEY DO WHAT THEY INTENDED TO DO
ITS TIME TOO EARLY BUT NOT TOO LATE FOR UMNO

    UMNO MUST REALIZE THIS
    THESE IS FACTS
    RACISTS IS FACTS
RACIST BEGINS BY DAP BY INFERNO UMNO FOR BEING RACISTS
BLAMING UMNO INCOMPETENCY AS IF THEY ARE COMPETENCE

THIS SHOULD BE A WAKE UP CALL FOR THE SULTAN
THIS SHOULD BE A WAKE UP CALL FOR UMNO

LET THERE BE RACISTS THAN EVERYBODY PRETENDS NOT TO BE RACISTS
MAKE UMNO BE A CHANGE THAN RELYING ON
MUSUH DALAM SELIMUT , GUNTING DALAM LIPATAN

I AM RACISTS YES I AM
HBT IS RACISTS YES HE IS
LIM KIT SIANG IS RACISTS YES HE IS
DAP IS RACISTS YES THEY ARE

    SO WHERE IS DEMOCRACY ?
ITS LIES BEHIND ALL THOSE LIES PUT UP BY THESE CHARACTER

    NOT HAPPY RIGHT HBT ?
I,M MAKING SENSE THAN BEING HYPOCRITE LIKE YOU

THESE SHOULD BE A CALL FOR UMNO LEADERS

    Azlan
    KL

  32. Tuntuah, you rugi a lot in business due to poor taste speculation? If you are so dam racist, go kow tim yourself, why barked at me?

  33. Aso, lu tak racist ker?
Aso, saya bayar taxes more than you. Lagi mau kecoh ker?

Aso remember this. The most expensive and forever be expensive taxes that malayu have paid. Give the million pendatang warganegara. Damn expensive, more than aso and.keturunan aso pay the taxes sampai 10000 billion years pun.

So aso think aso pay more taxes? Hahahaha crap talk.

  34. Dear Tun Perak,

I guess its just me no longer having faith in them and you willing to put your trust in them. To me its way past my limits already and I believe I do speaks for the vast majority of the Malays and bumis.

they don’t understand history or they don’t bother to understand, worst still some do know the facts but pretend like they don’t, hence crying to the US calling us racist and discriminators. After what we had done we are rewarded with the brand racist !

To those who complain about STPM students. Last I saw during my time JPA scholars now open to all. It really is againts perkara 153 in perlembagaan, we do know this but we kept our cool.

before you guys complain, lets look around and do realize all the things that you have gained here and more.

Now that the government remove the “bangsa” in any formal gov form and yet again hurting the Malays who has been supporting the BN in the last election, you guys should again be thankful that we do not start any riots, as would be the case had this been done in Indonesia. Sometimes Im truly amazed at how patient we the bumis can be or perhaps the line between patience and stupidity is blurring now. Do not test us further.

    Dear Tun,

The last stunt done by our PM (removing bangsa in the forms). its the last straw. Had ISMA become a political alternative to umno I would not hesitate to vote them. As it is I would no longer be voting BN for as long as Najib is the PM. its a complete betrayal to our votes tht ensured BN yet again victory. you would think that he learn something with the Chinese tsunami.

the last time he announced 1 Malaysia, he opened a floodgate and we suffered a lot. With this latest stunt who knows what we would lose now? It seems like he is opening yet another floodgate. It cant always be us who is giving in the give and take. A PM cannot be a liberal Malay. This is unacceptable.

please do something about this. grkumar is right (thanks grkumar). Please embrace the reality now and restrategize for umno’s sake. the fact is they no longer want to share. A no brainer would have know that dap will still win big in the next GE. this is a fact, you know it, I know it and even Najib knows this.

As I understand or was told, you were once warned many time about Anwar by so many people but you choose to ignore them dismissing the claims as you had your utmost believe in him.

Well I do not want to go so far as to suggest that you should take the warning blindly but had you perhaps do investigate yourself you would have perhaps know his true nature sooner.

If Im not wrong you only began suspecting him during the 97 economic crisis. By then it was way too late and the damage were done and Umno really was walking on a tight rope for the then coming PRU.

Well what was told to me might be wrong. I would love to here it from you instead.

Please do not take this as me blaming you. It is not. However I do hope there’s some lesson you could take from tht. Do not repeat the same mistake here. If there’s a claim that MCA is secretly helping DAP, please at least initiate an investigation to check the claims. May I suggest that you began with Halen Ang’s blog. you’ll be very surprise with what you would learn.

I would stop here. The racist brand would come now, I do not give a damn. Kerana agama bangsa dan negara. Wallahualam. and thank you.

    Melayu Hampa

  35. Malaysia is and always be lagging behind in many facets of the modern society if this race politics goes on indefinitely. As what is done by the first British colonists many decades ago, it is still done by the current government of Malaysia by the “divide and conquer” strategy using the race card here and there indiscriminately. With a divided society, be it Blacks, Whites, Yellows whatever colour is your skin, the government has got the upper hand in controlling society. Like in America, with the abandonment of slavery, the society flourished and became stronger as a whole to become what we see today, the strongest nation on earth. In diversity we stand tall and prosper. I wish Malaysia all the best in its journey towards a better future and the people to start realise the value of being indifferent towards skin colour.

  36. Dearest YAB Tun,

    1. I’m sorry Tun because this time I disagree with your opinion on MCA joining the Cabinet. MCA must honor its promise/pledge. MCA leaders promised NOT to take any cabinet post if they fail to get better results during the 13th GE. MCA leaders must prove that they have gained enough support from the Chinese voters before joining the Cabinet, but they also FAILED in Kajang.

    2. Furthermore, MCA nowadays acts like DAP. MCA and DAP have the same set of objectives (‘Ini Kalilah’). Just look at how they fight for Chinese Schools and other Chinese agendas – same voice.

    3. Both MCA and DAP can agree (work together) in maintaining Chinese Schools for the sake of maintaining their ‘Chinese’ identity (originally from mainland China). But, at the same time MCA is threatening UMNO just because UMNO agrees to support ‘Hudud’ along with PAS. If MCA wants to leave BN just because UMNO supports ‘Hudud’, then just go ahead. This proves that MCA is ‘duri dalam daging / musuh dalam selimut’ in BN. MCA can fight for the Chinese, but UMNO cannot fight for the MALAYS/ MUSLIMS / Bumiputras – what kind of rule is this? MCA ‘boleh’, UMNO ‘tidak boleh’. MCA thinks that it’s the ‘Tuan/Bos’. I say, ‘boleh belah to MCA’.

    Thanks Tun.

*** May Allah SWT bless Tun and family ***

  38. Salam Tun !,

    grkumar
You have lines it very well ,very much agreed with you . Knowing Chinese all our life I supposed , Tun must have very much far thought I supposed which I would consider it,s not worth an effort , Chinese would forever be a Chinese and that won’t change ,SJK(C) is dominant example that they, could never be true Malaysian that thinks Malaysian first .

Corruption is their games of success ,wit no thought of guilt , they blamed others for their share of inborn tradition that they bring along with them.

  39. Dear Tun,

Some people are still confuse. It is not about tongkat to us the bumis. even if I do not have the need for one I would still want it for my people and my generation. It is the bumis rights. So what about the comments about malays need to change their mindset?

It is about our rights, which is justify by justice and history and our forefather agreements. Things didn’t just come out as it is. Events are forever bounded by reasons and history. If I do not have any special rights in my own place then I might just as well migrate to Brunei or UK.

I find it to be ridiculous that if one made a promise 57 years ago and framed it with the perlembagaan, and after 57 years one goes like hey by the way, the promise we made before, lets just forget it.

This is manipulation at its best. had they not agree to what have been agreed they would not get the citizenchip. but now tht they finally get it, they say lets forget about it? Had bumis know this would have happen, would the bumis agreed to it in the first place.

lets not miss the fact of why the arrangements were made in the first place. in fact we have been nothing but accommodating to others ever since. what we want is for our rights to be remained. and that too they want to take from us. The share policy that you proposed would perhaps works, but if they decided to go beyond it then do not blame us for retaliating too.

    melayu hampa.

  40. Assalamualaikum…
saya tersangat hairan dgn kekdah pemimpin melayu…kalu melayu walau tak cakap rasis di katakan rasis dan pentadbir negara dgn sepantas kilat menahan melayu yg menyokong pentadbir negara..tp kalu melayu dan bukan melayu pembangkang boleh bebas memperlekehkan bangsa lain..melayu terutamanyew, agung, islam dan dgn mudah pentadbir negara memaafkan org cina yg menghina, menghasut org lain tuk jatuhkan kerajaan…apa yg peguam negara pak menteri yg jaga keselamatan buat…depa buat kerja ke dak..maaf ayahanda tun runsing ngan perangai melayu tunjuk garang bila nak jawatan jer…dapat jawatan hilang suara..abes menteri amaran timbul plaks menteri kemaafan m’sia…maaf pd yg terasa..sebagai marhein terasa panas membara mcm masa dollah..maseh perlu ke kami ni sokong umno kalu pemimpinnya cakap tak serupa bikin….

  41. Well, grkumar, it does not matter whether you want to bodek the UMNO ex-president, it does not matter at all. Today, Chinese in Malaysia does not need you at all as Mr LKY of Singapore is the true patriotic son, pendatang China, to South Asia before WW2.

  42. HBT456,

thts a common argument, bout paying taxes. kalau derang bayar tax, org melayu sejak belum ada tax dh berjasa pada Tanah melayu. added to tht barangkali sejak 600 masihi lagi dgn empire sriwijaya.

siapa yg bermandi darah cuba utk menghalau penjajah? siapa pula yg mendapat laba keuntungan dr penjajah?

kalau mereka membayar cukai 57 tahun maka added to tht pada jasa2 nenek moyang kami selama ini yg berates tahun bertapak disini.

bangsa mana pn bila hak mereka dipertikai akan melawan. its just common nature.

  43. The comments of the Tun in respect of Helen Ang’s open letter above are slightly (and I say this respectfully of Tun) are misplaced and based on sentiments that were perhaps valid in the 1970′s and 1980′s but not today.

The Chinese cannot wag the dog anymore than they did in the past. Much of the Chinese “power” based on their economic prowess and capacity (which still provides and endures) is no match for the ballot box and the power of the administration in government that wields it. And when I say Chinese I apply that word in its generic sense in context of this argument.

Much like how the Arabs of the late 1970′s were no longer the tent dwelling Bedouin the Israelis walked all over in 1967 when they defeated Israel in the Yom Kippur war, the Malays, urban and rural are a more sophisticated bunch exposed to the same influences and forces the Chinese and Indians had accessed, manipulated and benefitted from immediately post independence to this day.

Much of the advancement of the Malays in this regard (education, business experience, confidence, employment opportunities) is the result of the Tun’s policies, much criticized by the urban privileged Malays and mainly Chinese opposition.

A betrayal of the kind the Chinese demonstrated at that Tsunami last year was a “do or die” moment for them. They demonstrated their true colours at that final hour when the they believed the ship was sinking. Rats do that.

They the MCA and the Chinese who defected should not be rewarded for their betrayal. And I agree wholeheartedly with Helen Ang in this regard.

It is a gamble they the MCA and Chinese took and lost. They should not be pampered and molly coddled for losing that gamble. At least Judas Iscariot was honourable enough to hang himself after betraying Jesus Christ for 30 pieces of silver.

What sort of a message does that “forgiveness” of the Tun send out to the many Judas’ in government?

“And Brutus was an honourable man”. I doubt Ceaser would have forgiven him and taken him back to the senate if he Ceaser had survived the assassination hat killed him. That’s what the Tun appears to be proposing or am I and perhaps Helen Ang wrong in that regard?

We must rid ourselves of that hype that the Chinese are somehow invincible and genetically possessed of the magic midas touch of commerce no one else can emulate. Everyone is given a fair opportunity. Especially so if they adopt the Chinese method of success of threats, blackmail, bribery and corruption.

Now lets see the magic of a famous and wealthy Chinese clan in Thailand weave their magic in the face of the constitutional courts decision to remove another Thaksin from government. Like most of their counterparts who achieved their positions through sleight of hand, patronage, corruption and bribery and crime the veneer of respectability is beginning to peel off them in a new generation of indigenous people’s whose advancements the Tun gave seed to.

For all their faults the Hindraf mob inspite of the kick in the pants they received at the hands of government, showed loyalty and put whatever skin they had in the game. The government came through. Loyalty counts for much if not 90% of everything in politics.

Without the enormous financial resources of the Chinese the Indians who had everything to lose and some say lost much in that gamble at least stayed loyal to a very large extent. But that’s for another day and subject to what government may yet have in store for them.

Corruption in government as the popular media and opposition to government claims exists, is largely and almost to a fault and to a man the indulgence of Chinese entrepreneurs bribing low paid and ambitious public servants to access public property and opportunities without having to submit to a meritorious assessment of their capabilities. It is not a racist anti Chinese rant but a well documented fact with many thesis written about it by highly rated researchers from Dr. Alfred McCoy to Joe Studwell and of course David Barr.

Yet the blame and stigma of corruption is always conveniently directed at people like the Tun and the Malays and to every element o the BN government.

Not one of the beneficiaries of the largesse of the Tun’s era in politics including the late Eric Cheah, Vincent Tan, the Kwok Brothers, the Lees, the Tans and wnyone else you could name who benefitted immensely during that era has bothered to stand up and say, “I got my license and my opportunities through merit or at the very least, the Tun is not guilty of the corruption he is accused of”.

Unless the Malays wish to be relegated in eternity to the role of highly paid peons, baggage boys and drivers of powerful Chinese and foreign interests in Malaysia, they should stand up now and show the Chinese what consequences there are for betrayal.

There is an old Sicilian saying that goes like this:

“Revenge is a dish that is best served cold!!” and cold it must be served.

To the Tun: Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it.
You have an enormous degree of influence amongst Malaysia’s majority: its Malays and Indians (at least of the latter those who do not support Ambiga and her Brahmins).

The Tun must re think his strategy because many in Malaysia especially amongst its Malays hang on to his every word. Once given the opportunity to rule the Chinese will never let it go.

Let Singapore be an example of that point. However rich a Malay may be after that, he would have lost his position of primacy in a land destiny, God and history gave him his dignity and his right to be wrong. And if that happens which it could, all of us who stood by and did nothing or said nothing about the Tsunami approaching in its second round will be responsible for it.

“If a man slaps you on your right cheek, give him your left.” Its very biblical but not practical in politics. I’d rather prefer this” “If thine right eye offend thee pluck it out. If thy right hand offend thee then cut it off”.

Every one in politics which is a sacred vocation based on trust (which unfortunately also attracts a disproportionate number and percentage of weasels) should be dealt with harshly where that trust is breached.

Salaams to the Tun and well said Helen Ang.

  44. How can one be labelled a racist for advocating that smart people get rewarded?

For example, would you want mediocre engineers to construct a skyscraper?
Incidentally, during Dr. M’s tenure, the Petronas Twin Tower was built with American designers, Korean and Japanese engineers, and foreign construction workers. You and your ilk always complain that Malays should be given opportunities…..now with a mega project like the twin towers, why were the foreigners the majority of the workers? The simple answer is there weren’t qualified Malay engineers.

We need smart and qualified people, period.

Dr. M you are confusing folks by proclaiming Malays would be sidelined if meritocracy is promoted; if you persist in maintaining the current system, smart people would leave the country thus resulting in brain drain and all we get is a disproportionately huge number of average joes. This does not bode well for the nation as we can’t compete well and the Malays would lose out. A better system is to reward the high achievers (don’t deprive them of what they deserve) and at the same time practice positive discrimination (help the disadvantaged but not to others’ expenses).

Dr. M you are also deluding others into believing that sharing wealth (by instituting laws) would distribute money evenly to others. First of all this system perpetuates the concept of the disadvantaged forever believing it’s their right to partake in someone’s wealth. Secondly, these poor folks would not have any incentives to improve their own lot. People who dare take risks and make it big should be rewarded! People who work hard and are successful should be rewarded! If someone has worked hard and smart to be rich, is that a crime?

Malays can be successful, too but only if they change their mindsets.

  45. Tun,

This is the billion ringgit question, how to share economy and political power. Unless both parties give-up the idea of taking control there will not be a answer.

    Your comment

The answer is to choose only one as any one (political or economy) both also bring lots of money. If ask my opinion I choose political power as it is a safer bet while in economy the risk of losing money is there. The olden days any Chinese need license to conduct business need a Malay to sign for them and that sharing way was more peaceful then. Can that be consider a sharing era?

  46. Tun

It is again good that this topic of MCA in the Cabinet is brought up. After the results of the 13th General Elections concerning the MCA( unless the MCA is made of stone,) it augurs well for this Party to undertake reforms which matter most in the political milieu of the Nation. The performance of the past leaderships of the MCA left one to wonder what had not been done for the Chinese, Malaysian Chinese vis-a-vis the National Psyche since the good old days of the Federation of Malaya.

Two important matters spring to mind.

    1) The Mandarin language which is now politicised 2) The vernacular schools also politicised.

With a proper leadership of the MCA in place, these two matters could have been trivialised and minimised for the sake of National Development. However, let us hope with the brand new MCA leadership, something maybe suggested to resolve these two prickly issues once and for all.

THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO BAKE A CAKE ! Malaysia is the only country in ASEAN where such a situation exists which gives rise to the perrenial misunderstanding of the Chinese, Malaysian Chinese.

I hope the new MCA leadership will not TRY TO CREAM OFF THE POOR HARD-WORKING DOCTORS AGAIN IN THE INTEREST OF WEALTHY INDIVIDUALS.

As for the MCA being invited to the Cabinet, the perfunctory performance of the MCA due to its top leadership in the past caught up with them in the 13th General Elections. They were stripped naked against a tough and relentless opponent who were taking advantage of the momentum so created since 2003 and the money that pushed this forward.

THIS WAS THE HIGHEST EBB TIDE WHICH WE NOW SEE RECEDING DUE TO LACK OF SUBSTANTIVE ISSUES – so we must expect something else to happen.

I have heard so many times that the UMNO let the MCA down in recent years that I WONDER WHETHER OUR CHINESE, MALAYSIAN CHINESE UNDERSTAND THAT THE MALAYSIAN GOVERNMENT IS A COALITION OF COMMUNAL PARTIES. IN OTHER WORDS, IT IS NOT UP TO UMNO TO LOOK AFTER THE POLITICAL INTERESTS OF THE CHINESE HOLISTICALLY BUT FOR THE MCA TO DO SO AND ACT ACCORDINGLY.

A lot of misunderstanding, hatred and ill-feeling arose because of the lack of explanation BY THE MCA LEADERSHIP TO THE CHINESE, THE MALAYSIAN CHINESE. As it is the UMNO has already so many Malay matters on their plate ! OK ! We now have a new MCA leadership ready to go.

Ready to go ? There are certain requirements for a major political party like the MCA to observe and understand whilst in the cockpit of power.

    These are :-

    1) Sovereignty, national interest, self-esteem

    2) The Chinese interest vis-a-vis the Malay interest

    3) An ancient saying, ‘ Those who hold public office should retire with empty sleeves !’ No Singapore bank accounts, condos, etc.etc. to avoid conflict of interest. The PAP cadres have nothing to do with Malaysia since the 1960s !

It is the wisdom of our Prime Minister Dato Seri Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak and his Government to invite the largest Chinese political group which shares the same belief on the sharing of political power and wealth amongst the Rakyat as the BN. THIS FACT IS WELL-HIGHLIGHTED BY TUN !

Meritocracy has failed in the spiritual homeland of the Singaporean Trojan Horse DAP under the spiritual leadership of the brilliant Lee Kuan Yew with his 16 failed Policies for Singapore. In 2013, 2 senior Ministers announced that in future, not only academic qualifications will be considered but also hidden talents as well. Kudos to the Singapore Government for correcting an age-old injustice to the enslavement of 99% of the populace. How many can be first in a class ? And yet the Singaporean Trojan Horse DAP shouts out of date slogans like ‘Malaysia for Malaysians’ and ‘Meritocracy’.

I believe the Singaporeans are shouting ‘Singapore for Singaporeans’ these days and that brilliant fellow avoids his old haunt Hong Lim Green !

As the Chinese, Malaysian Chinese had always been around for many centuries and have successfully
co-operated with the Malays and the Indians and all during this time, it is only REALPOLITIK TO INCLUDE THEM IN THE CABINET THE POWERHOUSE OF THE PRODUCTION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF POLICIES. The age-old MCA excuse of negotiating behind closed doors should be discarded and be transparent so that all will know that they do a proper job.

IF THE MCA WANTS TO BE SUCCESSFUL, IT PAYS FOR THEM TO RECOGNISE WHO THEIR REAL ENEMY IS ? And they should not pretend that ALL MALAYSIAN POLITICS ARE UNDERTAKEN WITHIN THE CONFINES OF A PRESSURE COOKER WHICH IS MALAYSIA ? Two wrongs do not make a right !

MCA LEADERSHIP IT PAYS TO FOLLOW CHEDET BLOG AND DO NOT FORGET WHAT HAPPENED TO THAKSIN/YINGLUCK IN THAILAND !

  47. Dear Tun, as a long-serving PM, I would like to hear your view of having alternative coalition in Malaysia so that the ordinary rakyat can choose alternative regime to govern the country every five year like in advanced countries – UK, Japan and Australia. The ppl have supported BN for the last few elections. No doubt. Rakyat have voted for you for your long-serving tenures of 23 years, and also to your successor through BN. But are we allowed to exercise our right through democratic process to elect whoever we like for the next 5 years? While the rakyat have no issue with special rights given to a special group of ppl, we are equally sad to read in the news of incidents of top scorers in STPM not being given courses they choose or the worse case, they are not even being given any course to study at our IPTA. If we do not advocate meritocracy at higher education, how can we become top 50 in the world? Nobody opposes special rights for some special group of ppl, but do give some places to those top scorers who have excelled in their studies whom have come from not well to do families. The implementation of NEP has brewed success stories. I believe every Malaysian accepts the implementation of special rights for some people, but can we do it at the expense of denying our talented Malaysian sons and daughters their opportunity year after year? Not every Indian is a lawyer, not every Chinese is a businessman.

  48. Salam Tun,

    Dear Kaederokawa11,

This is the best article from Tun that I have read, for years.

The willingness of the BN dominated UMNO seats to give some Ministrial posts to MCA is akin to helping someone who are not strong at this point of time to regain his footing after a whole lot of infightings done within the organization.

This is the first step towards the reconciliation between races in Malaysia, the power sharing it would be, must be replicated with understanding by MCA on the importance of sharing wealth and educational opportunities in Malaysia with the less fortunate majority indigeneous race – the Malay and Indian. With these mutual understanding, then a new whole world of friendship can be created and bonded.

We live in a world not disconnected to each other, no one lives in silo, and we have a concept callled – “Give and Take”.

The problem in the last Election was that the Chinese communities and youngsters were taken in by the promise of DAP, and we understand that even if Pakatan won the election and the DAP wanted the “best” takes all; in term of economy, scholarship and religion; none can be succeeded because above the political parties is the monarchy – the Sultanate which has some rights in not endorsing the changes in the constitution, and the rights to declare “State of Emergency” when the country disrupted with racial dis-order.

With DS Liow Tiong Lai, I think more cool heads will emerge within the MCA in term of race relation with the other BN parties.

Indeed, as what you have said, the MCA newspaper such as The Star – reporters and editors that reported biasly or intended to play issues sensitive within the fabric of Malaysian society need to be checked and put in order by MCA. They are done by the racial and religion provocateours reporters, and not the politicians. The best is to have them checked and warned.

Of course there are many Chinese racist who gives comment here like HBT456 and etc. but remember they are not MCA. They are DAP that has three stars on their cap, and their intention is to ensure the racial and religious harmony are broken to pieces.

  49. Racist apa Tuntuah? Racist tak perlu bayar taxes kepada Putrajaya to run its operating costs ke?

  50. 14. MCA must rejoin Malaysian Cabinet because Chinese race is 25% of Malaysia population to maintain political stability.

    15. DAP or Gerakan should remain as CM in Penang.

    16. Always see the glass is half full politically and economically as Malaysians, tomorrow will better and we are one step nearer to Wawasan 2020.

That’s all Tok Det, it is my pleasure to voice up my little voice here to make Malaysia Boleh in Chedet Blog.

kenapa….. sendiri tengok sendiri faham lah apa maksud saya.

    Pedang Allah

  52. Spot on
    DAP is racist
    Aso also racist
Tapi Aso sibuk kater org racist
So org lain tak boleh racist macam aso jugak ker?

    Damn

  53. Dear Tun,

Have you ever consider the fact that the MCA is quietly helping the DAP. after all I believe they both share the same goal. Chinese dominance in all aspects.

I think this is what Halen is trying to convey. she has been exposing the fact that the mca newspaper is quietly helping the dap.

The idea of collaborating force between races is most ideal, but realistically speaking I think we are pretty divided already.

At least this is what the majority Chinese think during the election. Ini kalilah meant for them to dominate. tht is why almost 90% turn their vote to DAP.

we the malay can extend our hands, but if they do not want to share (when I said share it is to be read with accordance to the perlembagaan we all held dear to) and respect the perlembagaan then theres nothing we can do.

personally I no longer trust the Chinese. have they ever thought of what would become to the malay comunity had the dap won? frankly I don’t think so. Id like to believe theres more like Halen, but im afraid im only talking about 1% of the Chinese.

I would respectfully of course ask that perhaps you should embrace the reality that the era when all races would stand united have long gone. I don’t think its the malays fault. how can we trust them with the risk of loosing everything when we have reasons not to trust them anymore. I see Singapore and Penang and what is happening after 57 years of independence. and how fast they would change…. and the promises made suddenly no longer valid they say. I guess you can call this the new malay dilemma. to trust or not to trust.

like how you would be branded in the past, they would also call me racist after this. well I don’t give a damn. after all its their own definition of racist.

    melayu hampa.

  54. salam Tun..
