1. In a democracy there should be Opposition whose job is to oppose the Government. In the more mature democracies the Opposition may at times support the Government or take a bipartisan stand. But mostly, and certainly in new democracies, the Opposition simply opposes.
2. The objective of the Opposition is to bring down the Government and to take over. They are not really interested in issues or the wrong things the Government is doing. These issues are good only for blackening the governing party so as to bring it down..
3. It is a mistake for the Government to accede to or meet the demands of the Opposition. Acceding to their demand will not result in their supporting the Government. They will make sure their supporters too will not switch their support to the Government.
4. They will either belittle the Government’s decision or they will come up with new issues.
5. This was what happened to the Government’s decision to drop the ISA. The Opposition never said thank you or praise the liberalism of the Government. Certainly they would not support the Government because it had met their demand. The attack against the Government continued. And the result was the performance of the Goverment party becoming worse than when the ISA was in the statute books.
6. On the Government side compliance with the Opposition stand angers its supporters. They would regard the Government as weak and withdraw their support.
7. In the case of the ISA the law enforcers too felt they have been betrayed. The crime rate grows and the security people gets the blame.
8. The people will also feel betrayed and angry with the rise of crime rates
9. The Government has gained nothing and has lost a lot due from trying to please the Opposition. Has the Government learnt the lesson?
10. Apparently the Government is still bent on pleasing the Opposition rather than Government supporters. There is now a move to accede to the Opposition demands for meritocracy. Three laws are to replace the Sedition Act which will have the effect of ending the affirmation Action of the New Economic Policy.
To comment is good and I fully support Tun stand.
As a resident of Selangor, I have been following the development of PR political crisis with interest and amusement.
The fact that TSKI is adamant to holding on the MB post is a big question mark. He does not need the money and is not by nature, I believe, power crazy.
Getting the initial support from the Sultan and PAS gives the impression that something could go really wrong should another PKR leader takes over the post of MB. My respect for PAS grew when Majlis Shura to support Khalid as matter of principle. as a Muslim, that was totally lost when they make around about turn. I am now convince that they are weak and have deviated from the initial principles.
Their leaders had been silent on many pricking Islamic issues raised especially by certain leaders of PKR for fear I believing of offending their partners. This is a let down to their supporters and all Muslims in general.
Pas could have controlled the Selangor state government with the support of UMNO had they stuck to their initial stand.
Should the UMNO assembly man decided not to take any of the Exco posts then the Exco would be totally PAS. Not that this an ideal position as we are a multi racial country, it would have at least drive home the point that they should be leading the State Government by virtue of having the most Malay assemblyman within PR.
What is next?
I would strongly suggest that Pas leaves PR and stand alone.
This way they could stick to their political principles and be vocal without obligation or fear. I believe the support from the masses would increase. Focus on forming the Government of Kelantan, Trengganu, Kedah, Perak and Perlis. They can still form and opposition state government by one coalition and be a strong voice in Parliament.
Looking at bigger picture, the voters now would have to really think before they vote. They should vote the candidate palatable for them and not because of emotion.
This is democracy!

I must take my hat off to the brilliant guy who thought up of breeding the sturgeon to produce the luxury food known as caviar. The idea is ingenious and tantalizing. According to the Wikipedia, this sturgeon produces the most valuable flesh per pound of fish today. Kudos to FELDA for making this innovative product which was considered an aphrodisiac for princes and emperors of days of old. I sincerely hope the good old standby the durian will maintain its sworned and renowned status by all who stand by it. Viagra is too expensive.
An investment of RM 120 Millions is not to be sneezed at. By all accounts, the profits should roll in as soon as the slow growing sturgeon produces its first spawn which turns into caviar for the cognoscenti.
The newspaper was not clear on whether the sum of RM 120 Millions is for the purchase of the sturgeons or for the whole deal. However, since this is such an exciting project for FELDA, we can rest assured that due diligence was properly undertaken backed up by a proper feasibility study. But these are all black and white financials.
What happens if the pampered sturgeons do not produce the certified quantum of eggs ? Do we get a refund ? Anyway it is not our business in sturgeon rearing of the Korean kind.
Only our naive, hospitable and friendly New Straits Times can see the connection between this great enterprise of FELDA in sturgeon rearing and the exhortation of our esteemed Government in the production of babies which a Minister suddenly claimed that like Singapore, we will be running out of babies soon.
Strange. IT WAS THE 2 CHILD FAMILY POLICY OF THE BRILLIANT LEE KUAN YEW WITH HIS 18 FAILED POLICIES FOR SINGAPORE THAT FINISHED OFF THE POPULATION. He did it his way. NO DURIANS, NO CAVIAR. NO VIAGRA. The measures now undertaken by Singapore are desperate measures to fill an intractable gap.

I would succinctly interpret that the headlines are complementary to each other and there is already a domestic market for this fine aphrodisiac product which is World Class ( a common Singaporean word ).

Kedah has entered the Tourism Age which is the World’s greatest industry for the future. The goodies for the Rakyat are not only bountiful but also immediate. We know of political parties with foreign backing who have talked and talked for 48 years and do nothing for the Rakyat. This Airport idea is holistic ( I copy ) and clean and powerful, politically and socio-economically.
Yes, Tun ! The Tourism industry is the way to go for all BN controlled States. It is an industry in which all can take part with minimum effort but the returns are of maximum value..
Let Kedah be the model State for Tourism in Malaysia. With the input of tourists whether domestic or foreign, the demand of goods and services will produce a quantum leap to the income of the Rakyat. The arts and crafts of Malay heritage and culture would be the first on the list for showcasing to the tourists who have come to taste the life-style of the Kedahans. The cuisine of the Malays, Chinese and Indian will bloom as part of the life-style culture which has affected the whole of the the Tourist World.
The middle-income group of the Malays and the non-Malays will benefit together with the Rakyat they will employ.
Comfort, leisure and a satisfied stomache are what a tourist wants at a reasonable price ! And Kedah and the BN States can deliver.
I envisage the Kulim International Airport as a mini-21st century city Airport with low landing fees. The tourist hub consists of 2 International Standard hotels, a 5 Star and 3 star budget hotel. The whole Airport City is geared towards the needs of a tourist in the 21st century.
The Kulim International Airport should have a design and facilities that it is at the forefront of the 21st century – A JOY TO SEE AND A JOY TO USE !
There are certain airports or railway stations around the World that we would like to see and use today. The Kulim International Airport should be a couple of steps better –
A MINI SIZED WORLD CLASS TOURIST HUB WHICH INCLUDES AN AIRPORT, BY THE WAY.
Private sector tourist resorts will pop up along the coast and the hills.
The influence and reach of the Airport should be at least 500 miles or more miles away within our own jurisdiction and also encompasses Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Singapore.
With the manifold 21st Century comforts and facilitities available at the Airport, when the Isthmus of Kra Canal is built which is very likely within 25 years if not 10, many tourists will use the Airport for its proximity to the Canal ! Fantastic !

With the impact of a burgeoning Tourist Industry, Kedah can up-grade all facilities for the tourist and also establish NEW INSTITUTIONS LIKE AN INSTITUTION FOR HYGIENE AND HOSPITALITY to train the young Rakyat to deal with hotel management, the preparation of food, etc at the HIGHEST INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS.
Transportation would be modernised and enhanced. Income would accrue to the State coffers and the Rakyat. All will be happy and satisfied with the ever-expanding Tourist Industry.
Airlines can use the Kulim International Airport as a transit airport for points East and West or vice-versa.
And further, a replica of the resthouses of old will be established at key tourist points in Kedah State.
The beauty of a burgeoning Tourist Industry is that it goes on and on if properly handled and revenue and income keep flowing out to the State and the Rakyat !

My humble apologies to those Bloggers who do not understand what I was talking about when I mentioned the TPPA. They must be thinking that I talk in riddles or gibberish. OK.
The TPPA otherwise known as the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement was crafted and designed solely for the benefit of Singapore in the post-Cold War period beginning 1990. The Cold War 1948 – 1989. This was replaced by the Pax America a form of American hegemony, espousing, ‘ Globalization, Free Trade, Human Rights.’ These three words are anathema to the traditional activities of Singapore but without realizing their significance until 1998, the Singaporean elite was definitely caught with their pants down after the DOT.COM crash of 2000. The Singaporean GDP dropped from 7% to rock bottom, 100,000 were unemployed and inflation was increasing all the time. Hotel room rates dropped substantially. The elite thought out 2 options after much hair wrangling.
For the short term, it was the 2 casino licences and for the long term sustainability , the Trans-Pacific Agreement.
The TPPA was launched in 2006 and Singapore could only recruit Brunei, Chile and New Zealand. An International Arbitration Tribunal was set-up in 2006 – so confident was Singapore with her pet project the TPPA. But Washington DC was not interested in 2006 but after October 2008, Washington DC was grasping at any straw.
The Grand Tour of the Ulus in June 2009 by the brilliant Lee Kuan Yew with his 18 failed Policies for Singapore mystified me until the 19 secret negotiations about the TPPA was exposed in 2013 ! When his proxies, cohorts, digits, spies, tycoons, etc were kow-towing to him on our beloved Malaysian soil, he already had Washington DC’s OK for the TPPA in his pocket ! Smart and cunning !

Without a captured market for Singapore and without a conquered and controlled MALAYSIA, Singapore cannot exist as before and has only 4 options within less than 25 years after her LEADER successfully screwed down his own 100% indigenous inhabitants down to 62% in 2013 ! As Singapore is now a VIRTUAL FAILED STATE, she has to consider the 4 options :-
1. To become the 53rd State of the Union. The American Ambassador has mentioned twice that they should be closer. Significantly, President Obama avoid a one hour stop-over in Singapore and the FOLLOWING WEEK THE SINGAPORE FOREIGN MINISTER WAS IN THE U.S. STATE SECRETARY’S ANTE-ROOM – apparently seeking assurances that Singapore has not been by-passed !

3. To re-merge with Malaysia
4. To maintain status quo with a full-fledged military and a dwindling indigenous population to zero for the National Service. There is talk that the daughters are next in line for the NS.

From reports which came to me over the past few days, all is not well in the State of Denmark.
The mainstay of our economy the construction industry has been cooling off for sometime. The banks are not lending. external factors like the recent Iraqi insurgency is already affecting the World which relies on the import of oil.
Tun, you have rightly warned a few months ago that unexpected events are expected to happen. And this is coming rapidly home to roost.
Our Federal Government has assured all of us throgh its agencies that all is well and is confident of riding out any storm to come. And even the El Nino which is now affecting us daily is a mild one. One thing we can be sure is that our plantations need water, lots of it.
With the coming of the lifting up of certain subsidies and the onset of inflation affecting our cost of living, are we certain our country’s well-being is going to be strong and stable. ?
The IMF has already revised downwards the growth for the whole World in 2014. And China during the month of May showed some promise in its manufacturing industry. But before this, it was 6 months down the slippery slope. In the EU, the Central Bank just revised their base interest rate further south. And the USA has all its money accumulated in Wall Street and not Main Street.
And with certain foreign religious extremists who were quiescent for decades if not centuries, suddenly become intimidating and provocative for want of better semantics,

HOWEVER, THE SINGAPOREAN MEDIA ALWAYS KEPT A PAGE OR TWO EITHER TO BUTTER UP THE YOUNG UMNO ASPIRANTS THE MORNING AFTER THEIR MOMENTOUS MAIDEN SPEECHES AT THE INSTITUTE OF SOUTH EAST ASIAN STUDIES ( a kind of brainwashing machine for FOREIGN ELITE ) OR TO MAKE A MOCKERY OF OUR MALAYSIAN POLITICIANS TO THIS DAY. Any unreported and unwritten understanding was not recognised by Singapore.
Here is how the Singapore Straits Times through the decades gave guidance to the astute populace from the 1% elite who decided when to release the news or information.
1. Many years ago, Page 2 was utilised for comments for social problems like as reported.

Because the Singaporean investors were organised officially and unofficially against the Malaysain investors who were disorganised and massacred in a crash. There were at least 13 stock exchange crashes since 1965 until the CLOB was clobbered in 2001.
SINCE 2002, THERE HAS NOT BEEN A SINGLE CRASH. As you can see now, this was how the brilliant Lee Kuan Yew with his 18 Failed Policies for Singapore USED THE CLOB TO SUCK MONEY OUT OF MALAYSIA EVERYTIME WITHOUT FAIL. And for the Singapore Business Times, THE JUNIOR JOURNALISTS FROM THIS AUGUST JOURNAL REGULARLY WITHOUT FAIL AND EVEN MORE SO AFTER 2003 GAVE THEIR POMPOUS AND SANCTIMONOUS ADVICE TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT REGULARLY IF NOT WEEKLY.
And then a strange thing happened, THE KL SINGAPORE BUSINESS TIMES JOURNALIST SUDDENLY STOPPED GIVING THE ADVICE FROM JANUARY 2012 !
The answer is to be found in the New Straits Times Streets Central Supplement Page 8. March 8 2014 !
NOT A SINGLE SQUEAK COULD BE DISCERNED ANYMORE ( maybe not to upset the Federal Government so that the BN beats the Opposition 1n 2013 – micro-management at its finest ! ) It was the all or nothing poisoned chalice TPPA – for the survival of Singapore coupled with the brilliant Lee Kuan Yew’s legacy !

1. DS Najib @ Ah Jib Gor tries very hard to please the Oppositions, but he does not realize that (ignorance? or stupidity?) at the same time he is causing anger/dissatisfaction among the BN supporters towards the Federal/BN Government.
2. Does he know that by making at least 5% of BN supporters to become fed-up of BN and end-up boycotting the next GE will cost BN a lot (might lose)? We are talking about LESS votes for BN but the number of votes for the Oppositions remain the same since none of them turn their support to BN (simple mathematics). I believe those seats that BN has won in the 13th GE by a small majority will fall to the Oppositions just because of BN leaders’stupidity (of irritating and ignoring their supporters).
3. DSN and gang (and CON-sultants) must stop pleasing the Oppositions by abolishing all kinds of laws that are supposed to keep Malaysia more peaceful and more stable/harmony. The Oppositions know very well that a peaceful/stable Malaysia is not good for their political strategy. They can only benefit from an UNSTABLE Malaysia. The more CHAOTIC the situation is in Malaysia, the better it is for the Oppositions to take over.
4. I hope DSN and gang will stop being SELF-DESTRUCTIVE. I have been a loyal BN supporter and still gave my vote to BN during the 12th and 13th General Elections (even though I was so unhappy with Tun Lah and DSN’s performance), but I am not so sure that I will spend my precious time to go back to my hometown to vote for BN in the next GE. It seems that DSN and gang do not know how to appreciate the support that I’ve given them all this while.
5. This is a good example of: “YANG DIKEJAR TIDAK DAPAT (support from Oppositions), YANG DI KENDONG BERCICIRAN (loss of support from BN supporters)”…and a ‘Lebai Malang..’situation.

Getting up late in the morning after a heavy dose of football, I was faced with the wonderful screaming headline ‘ PM: ADOPTING TPPA WILL GIVE NATION ADVANTAGE.’
And at the end of his speech to quote, ‘ THERE ARE IMPLICATIONS THAT WE HAVE TO CONSIDER.’ It is good, very good THAT A TIMELINE IS NOT MENTIONED AND THAT OUR DISTINGUISHED PRIME MINISTER WILL CAREFULLY CONSIDER ALL THE OPTIONS CONNECTED WITH CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME AND OUR ‘ SOVEREIGNTY, NATIONAL INTEREST, SELF-ESTEEM.’ Indeed this is wisdom of the highest level.
The realization of our distinguished Prime Minister that there are insurmountable obstacles to the TPPA from Malaysian interests is good and transparent. At the moment, I DO NOT SEE ANYTHING THAT OUR BELOVED MALAYSIA CAN OFFER AS A TRADE-OFF. I ONLY SEE THE HUGE AND POWERFUL FOREIGN MULTINATIONALS, THE MALAYSIAN GOVERNMENT’S OWNED BURGEONING EMPIRE OF GLCs MANAGED BY CIVIL SERVANTS WITH NO SHARE-OWNERSHIP AND NO ACCOUNTABILITY AND A MICKEY MOUSE OF A MALAYSIAN PRIVATE SECTOR with an even smaller MALAY/BUMIPUTRA PRIVATE SECTOR. And we are only selling NATURAL RESOURCES apart from soft manufactures like condoms, etc. It is good our distinguished Prime Minister recognises these facts because Malaysian businesses will support an incumbent BN Government if not killed off by the TPPA.
Yes ! As our distinguished Prime Minister rightly implied that our beloved Malaysia can sign in the future WHEN WE ARE READY. At the moment, it is ENTIRELY A BRILLIANT LEE KUAN YEW WITH HIS 18 FAILED POLICIES FOR SINGAPORE SHOW – PRODUCED AND DIRECTED BY HIM.

I dont reach much Law but to comment here, some understanding of the Laws is needed.. and after reading the Act, I too wonder why Sedition Act needs to be abolished ??
The 1948 Sedition Act provides the enforcer of the Law to punish any offences regarding item (a) to (f) below:
(a) to bring into hatred or contempt or to excite disaffection against any Ruler or against any Government;
(b) to excite the subjects of any Ruler or the inhabitants of any territory governed by any Government to attempt to procure in the territory of the Ruler or governed by the Government, the alteration, otherwise than by lawful means, of any matter as by law established;
(c) to bring into hatred or contempt or to excite disaffection against the administration of
justice in Malaysia or in any State;
(d) to raise discontent or disaffection amongst the subjects of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong or of the Ruler of any State or amongst the inhabitants of Malaysia or of any State;
(e) to promote feelings of ill will and hostility between different races or classes of the population of Malaysia;
or
(f) to question any matter, right, status, position, privilege, sovereignty or prerogative established or protected by the provisions of Part III of the Federal Constitution or
Article 152, 153 or 181 of the Federal Constitution.
I think the above Laws are good because it deters people from creating hatred due to any matters already agreed in the Constitution.
In every decision to be made, there are needs to analyse the consequences of that decision.
Now let us try to analyse what would happen if a new act contradict item (f) above ?
First , It is very much possible that the native of Sarawak and Sabah will become very discontent up to the extent of boycotting the current government. Why ? The natives of Sabah and Sarawak would be the one affected most by the abolishement of item (f) above. Second, they were never consulted and integrated into the drafting of these three new Acts. Third, the Chairperson and Committee of the drafting of that Act are headed by people who are controversially extreme “Liberal” who was not even voted in to governmental position by the people who would benefit most by the abolishment of the Acts. Fourth, regardless of any responsibility by the committees who drafted the Acts and get the Acts approved , the liability would be on the shoulder of the Prime Minister.
What happen if point (a), (b), (c), (d) and (e) is abolished ? It means that the Sultan and Yang Di Pertuan Agong would not be protected against unfair critics and it also means that the opposition has free hands in giving unfair critics to the government without being punished.
So, I wonder what are the real objectives of the abolishment of the Acts ? We has never seen the draft of new Acts and we have never consulted about the changes in the new Acts.
Instead, what the Prime Minister may do –
(1) To add new clauses to Sedition Acts without altering any original meaning of the 1948 – Sedition Act. That is maintaining the act only with addition on what being seen as insufficient. The addition would only be agreed when the committee drafting the addition includes all the extreme speakers of the bumiputras from Peninsular of Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak that represent the Malays, Orang Asli, Kadazan, Iban, Dayak, Murut, and every one of them.
(2) Point (1) above means that any moves liberals such as Mujahid Yusof Rawa and Saifuddin Abdullah will be checked by the extreme speakers of the natives. Just remember that Saifuddin Abdullah was an unappreciated liberal when the Chinese voted him out of his safe Temerloh seat.
(3) Point (1) about also means that any transformation would encompasses the element – “Conclusiveness” and “Fairness”.
(4) Point (4) also means that “fore-sight” un-gained up until now way be gained or re-gained so that , we dont blame on lack of “fore-sight” like when the ISA was abolished.

Already the Chinese have conclusively indicated so in Gelang Patah and elsewhere in Johor and Melaka. And not unlike a spectator sport, the MCA being the coward they are, will not get involved and are too afraid to stand in DAPigs way. The majority of Chinese now have aligned themselves with the DAPigs. The demise of Gerakan and MCA is just a delaying tactic that will unfold itself at the last minute of next GE to again betray the desperate and partnerless UMNO.
We have to wake up to this new reality. That there certainly exists a “New Chinese” population and politics in Malaysia that the UMNO needs to deal with in a totally new fashion and approach. The New Chinese are inspired by the so-called intelligence of Lie K-wank Yu, the brilliance tongues of the Bark Council, the diabolic Evangelistas and the spin masters in Malaysiakinki.
I can foresee that in the next GE, a great Malay catastrophe designed and driven by the
pemanduadvisers in PM office, will find UMNO thrown under the bus and crushed in all its 206 bones. Thank you for the lovely story which I dont understand as i am not American and dont know about Untouchable or Capone or Mallone but I know Mahathir, Daim and BN.
For some people to be “good” is just simply do “the best” without “side effect” or “after effect” or “self effect”.
For some to be “good” is to think “sideway (children/grandchildren)” or “backway (pocket and bank account)” or “upway (religion/heaven/god)” or “my way (race and colour of skin)” or all of four and millions of other intentions.
For Malaysian politicians they think too much of self image, pocket, legacy and etc.. and for some Malaysians they judge too much until they cannot functions without having thoughts of “I know all” or “I am always right and all others are wrong” or ” dont see my way I punish you” or “they are too inexperience to do the job only me can do the job well” (forgetting that everyone were young and inexperienced at least once in their lifetime, Ha ha).
Well, before anyone start telling others what to do or how to think, look into the mirror and ask the image of the mirror first. For me to be gentle is to try to think what if I am the ordinary public and what would the public (many type people) think. Is the Govt and its employees got nothing better to do until they have to interfere or take charge of/with how people getting married and how people need to do die. Dont you think it is foolish and waste of time? Maybe not!
Abolishing ISA should not be done just to please the opposition, it should be done for a better Malaysia so that some cannot abuse the system for personal gain.

The Laws of a Nation governs our conduct in public and in private. It seems our Nation follows to closely the failed Policies of Singapore since 2004 as regards the performance of her GLCs, her meritocratic pyramid which was dismantled in 2013 but not the ISA which should mean more to us Malaysians than to the Singaporeans. With the ISA, i estimate that Singapore has only a full official complement of about 4,000 police officers but supplemented by about 3,000 National Servicemen.
1. The GLCs of Singapore were established by the Singapore Government after a fling by the private sector to set up industries in Jurong. It was found that the Singaporeans at that time were mainly traders who had no experience in managiing factory or other business concerns which fitted in with the Singapore Government Policy then. By the early 1970s, most of the early private industrial ventures like Fair Lady Hair Wigs, Eupoc, Starlite Ceramics, etc failed. Singapore Textiles only lasted a few years later. The Government stepped in to bolster the industries which required a heavy capital and a long gestation period like Far East Levingston, Neptune Line, SIA, Sembawang, Keppel etc. Now, we find Singaporean entrepreneurs are mainly in property development and not much else.
Malaysia GLCs arose after the crisis of 1997 and 1998 through bailouts of PRIVATISED BUSINESSES WHICH WERE CREATED OUT OF PROMISES BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TO THE MALAYSIAN POPULACE. NOW THAT THE BAILED OUT GLCs ARE APPARENTLY NORMAL AGAIN, OUR GOVERNMENT SHOULD FULFIL ITS PROMISE IN THE 1980s THAT MALAYSIA SHOULD HAVE A LARGE AND MEANINGFUL MALAY PRIVATE SECTOR BUSINESS AGAIN. As long as the Federal Government gets involved in businesses which most of the GLCs are losing money and managed by CIVIL SERVANTS WITH NO OWNERSHIP AND ACCOUNTABILITY, sooner rather than later, we will all face another crises in this fickle financial World. As a matter of prudence, and in fulfillment of its promise to the Malaysian populace, it is time to sell back these NATIONALISED GLCs to the PRIVATE MALAY SECTOR AGAIN. We are not Singapore with her failed Temasek and GIC GLCs which legally derived their funds from the CPF AND A CENTRAL COMMAND IN HER MANAGEMENT OF HER POLITICAL SOCIO-ECONOMICS.
LET US BE LIKE THE GREAT UNITED STATES WHICH RETURNED ALL THE BAIL-OUT BUSINESSES AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TO THE PRIVATE SECTOR. IN MALAYSIA’S CASE, IT WAS A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT PROMISE.
2. If the intention of the Federal Government is to introduce MERITOCRACY and create a LEVEL PLAYING FIELD FOR ALL VIA THE 3 NEW BILLS, I really do not know what to say when historically, the aborted Malayan Union of 1946 was precisely proposed with THIS INTENTION which was heroically OPPOSED by the Royal Sultans and the Rakyat.
It seems that those who recommended and proposed the 3 NEW BILLS ARE FOREIGNERS WHO DO NOT KNOW THE HISTORICAL, CULTURAL, RELIGIOUS AND HERITAGE BACKGROUND OF MALAYSIA. That FOREIGNERS PLAY SUCH AN IMPORTANT PART IN OUR POLICIES ARE NOT SURPRISING WHEN WE VIEW THE NST. STREETS CENTRAL SUPPLEMENT PAGE 8. MARCH 8, 2014 AGAIN.
3. The only impression I get nowadays is that our Federal Government follows the FAILED POLICIES OF SINGAPORE CLOSELY LIKE
i) THE 3 NEW BILLS TO CREATE MERITOCRACY WHICH FAILED IN SINGAPORE AND
ii) THE FAILED GLCs like Temasek, GIC, SERONOK POWER STATION PURCHASED BY THE INFAMOUS AND UNGRATEFUL MULTI-BILLIONAIRE, the MRT, the CPF etc.

3. The Bankruptcy Act 1967. Not updated or revised since 1967 – 47 years. At least 100,000 young people are caught in this for no fault of their own. Singapore, Australlia and the United Kingdom have the latest Laws.

1. In a democratic state, we cannot live without ‘an opposition party.’ Sans it, she would become autocratic or directorial. Even in the days of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), he had oppositions including from his own uncles and cousins, but he still managed to fulfil his responsibility of spreading Islam the way Allah SWT would have him do. What was his secret? He focused on his God given responsibility instead of playing to ‘the Gallery.’
2. DSN is failing because ‘he is playing to the Gallery!’ And, he would continue to fail, for as long as he continues this way. To succeed, he has to change now! He has to get rid of ‘all the President’s man’ now especially his sons, daughters, cousins, nephews, nieces, et al, and start focusing on his God given responsibility!
3. Again, being ‘anak raja’, I doubt it if he could change, as all his lives, he has been surrounded by people that are willing ‘to kiss his feet and wife his ass!’ From my personal and professional experiences, this type of person lacks leadership ability to be good leaders. It goes with HH, MM, KJ (qualified by virtue of being sil of ‘raja tidor!’), and all those other ‘anak-anak rajas, tan sris, datos, towkays, etc. They are just big bullies for sure, but never big leaders. How do you expect them to know how it feels to be hungry and destitute when only times they felt that way was when they are sleeping! In fact, some of them even eat while shitting! And, you expect them ‘to lead us to glory?’ Come on, already!
4. All good leaders that had been successful were from the ‘grass-root levels.’ Those bad leaders whom had failed and are failing were and are those amongst ‘anak-anak rajas’ like George Bush Jr, Kim Il-Sung, and all those Princes from the Arab world, and DSN!
5. Let us be honest with ourselves. Enough is enough. We need to move forward to remain relevant. We cannot just talk but do not do. We are the laughing stock to the whole world already. People are grouping us with people from those god forsaken third world countries, Taliban and Arab speaking states. All the glory Dr M brought us are now just mere history. If we persist with existing politicians, for and against, we should be lucky if were not already a bankrupt state in 2020!
6. Let us find a good leader. A Leader that is fearful of God, and himself!

2. The UMNO govt must treat them severely as such and deal with these subversive elements without any fear or compromise. Iron knuckles are what UMNO need to deal with these animals right now.
3. It is utterly useless for UMNO govt to have full power but is unable to unleash it to discipline and quieten the dogs. ( or else even put them to sleep! )
4. It appears now that there is no more ‘JANTAN’ in UMNO leadership. And thus, no respect for a PM who is bent on pleasing The Sodomite, the Maoists and the Talibans. Please pardon the expression, but it has been a gang bang all the way for Najib since we can remember. No wonder he always spot that confused face and even more ineligible speeches everywhere he goes. Poor soul !
5. UMNO needs to go back to its roots – to being Mukmins, United, Nationalist and Organized. UMNO must consider themselves as Allah’s chosen people for the Malay politics and start to act and behave accordingly.

The concept of a parliamentary democracy is often misunderstood by many. The concept of democracy too is not simply misunderstood but also the subject of several interpretations that the word democracy is often used to describe the one man one vote idea in a multi party system.
After all China and the former Soviet states also practised the one man one vote system of government but with a single party meaning a single political ideology. But how different is that to say a democracy such as Singapore with the one man one vote the right to a multi party system but with restrictions that make it almost impossible for another party to exist without harassment, intimidation, curtailment of their rights to free expression and assembly when permits are denied them during election time to hold rallies?
Another example is that of the US, the self proclaimed fountain of democracy in the modern world. There 2 major parties exist. That they refer to as a “multi party system”. In that system two groups of people with different views as to how the same political philosophy (no difference) should be applied and to who and to what extent in government. There are no ideological differences between the Democrats and the Republicans sufficient for them to claim they represent two different systems of government.
Putting that aside and moving to the Najib government’s caving in to the opposition there are equally two things to be said of their decisions with respect to ‘getting rid of the ISA’. In fact the perception that they have gotten rid of the ISA requires some clarification here. If the ISA means the act referred to as the ISA, it is gone. But the effect of detention without trial remains in the hands of any government with or without an act specifically termed the ISA.
Any government in office has in certain circumstances the right to order the detention of persons without trial. Any government through its organs such as the police or armed forces may detain persons reasonably suspected of having committed serious offences either against the state or individuals or peace and good order, indefinitely without trial should the circumstances arise which would make it impossible not to do so.
The state is sovereign. The constitution is but a set of rules as to how the state operates and provides a guide as to how it deals with its relations with other arms of government and the populace.
What is disturbing though is the threat to the NEP. The failure of government to deal with the protection of Malay rights in this regard will be without doubt a political as well as a social disaster. It will further divide the people and embolden and radicalize the Malays.
Many believe the NEP is a magic wand for Malays. Whats not understood is the trickle down effect and how long it takes to bear fruit and show results. Those who benefitted and managed to advance through the NEP appear to have forgotten their obligations to remain a part of the chain of Malay development.
Every society has its elites in this respect. But thankfully they remain in a minority. Sadly that minority in Malaysia have become vocal well funded minority bent on being the only beneficiaries and a new privileged class to lord over the rest of us Malays and non Malays alike.
Unless the ground swell of Malay dissent is organized, there are those from within UMNO especially their elite who will seek to further divide the Malays and create fractures in Malay unity the last bastion of Malay strength that will not mend.

We have a weak government, that currently governing Malaysia , and we had low quality opposition too ,who just opposed to anything and never purposed something of good for the nation.
In democratic system of the government , both party should have a responsible for the nation ,not just for which side you belong to and opposed anything that come from the other ,that would be rather stupid ,as anybody can do it . You don’t have to be an elected MP just to make noise in the dewan .
The change of leadership would be proper , in current Malaysia situation before it’s going to be dooms .
There no other ways to do it , we had to gamble with new leadership ,and the chances had to be taken.

The Opposition over a period of 17 years could not take Putrajaya in 3 EASY STEPS and yet our incumbent BN Government tabled 3 new Bills to placate them in the unkown field of MERITOCRACY. the 3 EASY STEPS WERE :-
1. In 1997, if the Deputy Prime Minister had taken a holiday in Disneyland with his family, he would have returned as the Honourable Prime Minister of Malaysia. He probably took his kitchen cabinet’s advice and events which should not have happened, happened whilst the kitchen cabinet grew stronger with the BN !

2. In 2008, instead of sorting out the 32 seats BEFORE the General Elections, the Opposition sorted out the 32 seats AFTER and forgot that with the Khazanah under their control, the cost options would have been easily surmounted ! ONE EASY STEP !
3. In 2013, if the Opposition had announced a 100 day fast and booked into the 1st Class Ward of the KLGH together with a total boycott of the 13th General Elections, they woud have permitted the BN to win 100% of the seats with 49% of the votes followed by World condemnation. The Opposition would have been in Putrajaya for 13 months. ONE EASY STEP. The Thais showed how this could be done against might.
So, how could our incumbent BN Government tabled one Bill after another to placate the Opposition which LEADEERSHIP IS SO VERY WEAK ? WHAT IS HAPPENING ?
When the ISA was removed before I could say ISA, a few months later I had a gang of 4 waving parangs at 4 a.m. on my doorstep. And of course, the Bank across my house was robbed accordingly. This forced me to put up extra grills to protect myself and my family. I am sure millions of my compatriots have a feeling of insecurity as well. This is why I admire and respect Tun and Tun Dr Siti Hasmah for doing the rounds of the Malls and other places at ground level to have a feel of how the Rakyat live and play !
Singapore practised MERITOCRACY FROM 1959 TO 2013. In 2013, 2 Singaporean Ministers announced that in future, applicants for jobs and promotions will not only be considered based on academic qualifications but on their hidden talents as well. Kudos to the Singaporean Government for correctiong an injustice which was APPLIED ON A POPULATION WHICH WAS 75% HOMOGENOUS ! In simple words, a country with 75% Chinese found that THE MERITOCRATIC POLICY DID NOT WORK. In fact, it has brought countless human and money problems.
