1. In America a black man was throttled to death by a policeman kneeling with his knee on the neck of the unfortunate man.
2. Another black man in America was shot to death by the police for no reason.
3. In France a black man was dragged and beaten by the police.
4. In India long lathis were used by the police to beat people who did not immediately obey their orders.
5. But not here in Malaysia. We don’t see this kind of incidents. But there are rumours of people being detained for no reason.
6. There is the case of Shafie Apdal of Sabah and several of his friends. They were arrested, detained for eight days, had to wear the orange shirt and thrown into cells with no bed. So far, no charges have been made against them.
7. Then there is a rumour that a man had his office raided, his files confiscated. He was detained and thrown into a cell for five days. Why he was arrested is not known.
8. Another rumour is of a man who was remanded for more than two years without being charged for anything. It would seem that some powerful person ordered his detention.
9. Another lady was similarly detained in a dark cell, also without clear charges being preferred against her. Her sequestration was ordered by powerful people. It seems that powerful people are above the law.
10. There are other rumours of people just disappearing.
11. This is Malaysia where we believe in the rule of law. These rumours seen to be contrary to the rule of law if they are true. These are frightening stories. I hope they are not true. I have no evidence to prove they are true. But the rumours keep circulating.
12. They tell me not to say anything. It can hurt me. But this is not America. This is Malaysia. The Government must not allow these things to happen.
13. No one should act above the law, no matter how exalted is his or her position. Malaysians should feel safe, should believe the law is there to protect them.
14. We have seen other abuses of the law by the authorities. It is time they stop.

Alasan bodoh seperti ‘permohonan tidak teratur’ sangat memualkan. Tun seorang yang amat teliti (umum tahu).

Kita pun tidak tahu bila pandemik ini akan berakhir. Jumlah kes baru pun sudah lebih 3,000 orang sehari. TSMY dan geng sudah hilang kawalan ke atas Mr. Covid-19 – gagal. Tawakkal sajalah…

For the Federation of Malaysia to survive in its current form, I suggest that the Prime Minister Post be rotated on a five-yearly basis between the three partners – Malaya, Sabah and Sarawak. Failing which, I can see both Sabah and Sarawak getting out of the federation, and Malaya will be left alone with its Chinese/Indian population and Malay population almost equal; the political situation will only be stabilized when a Chinese Malaysian is selected to be the Prime Minister of MALAYsia. I can see it happening for sure.
Then HBT can really drop a couple of nukes on Beijing and Shanghai without getting caught by the commies, as she won’t need to be shipped back with a Chinese sitting permanently as Malaysia’s future Prime Minister, eh.
Corruption.
“Corruption” is the middle name of almost every Malaysian government whether at Federal or State level. From independence right until now. No exception. Wait, perhaps the only possible exception are the Penang State Governments. What the country needs are leaders who are not corruptible, which is like finding a needle in the haystack, and the opposite are a dime a dozen.
What is the solution? Perhaps hand over the administration of the country to Chinese Malaysians? May be. But they will encounter tremendous objection by Bumiputeras, perhaps even being shipped back to China before the first Malaysian Chinese Prime Minister-elect can take office the next day.
Furthermore, the country today is indeed living on a knife edge. Its very existence is very much in doubt with the rapid rise of nationalism in both the states of Sabah and Sarawak. It could possible end up with the Chinese taking over the Peninsula when the country breaks up, with the huge population that the Chinese Malaysians have, not to mention their incredible brainpower relative to the Malays and their world-class work ethics, which I would rather not say much.

Once, a friend of mine from England came for a one-week stay at my place during his rare trip outside the Western world. He just arrived from Nepal and it was his first visit to Malaysia. His first question when he put his rucksack down at my house was whether it was safe to brush teeth using the water from the tap. I said absolutely yes, without asking why he asked. I expected it, not a strange question at all. At least it saved the trouble of him buying liters of bottled water for brushing teeth.
The point is, Nepal and Malaysia. What’s the difference.. none. Malaysia was often confused with Malawi in Africa, unless I corrected my fair-haired classmates at school in Cambridge. Not a problem.
It is very easy to cocoon ourselves and ignore the fact that Malaysia is only one in 195 countries. To begin with, I am not against writing in Bahasa, for I speak it at home with my family equally as much as English too. But the blog readers are not 100% Malaysians and Indonesians. It would be great for the blog admin to reveal the readership countries, and my guess is that Tun being a global figure, the Arabs and Pakistanis would be equally keen to read the comments as much as the average Malaysian on the street too. So would the French people and Press when a certain article was written about the French handling of a recent tragedy in this blog. The Chinese (and this is a well-known fact btw) are well known all over the world for speaking in their own language right in front of people who don’t speak their language, and laughing too; if that’s not rude, I don’t know what is.
If the country does not want to be treated as an outsider and dumped together with the other “rest of the world” countries forever, it is this vital to change the mentality.

Today is the 6th of January 2021. The Covid Virus-19 first appeared in Malaysia at the end of January 2020.
By March 2020, the Government took measures to eradicate the coronavirus by activating the National Security Council and the Director-General, Ministry of Health. From then onwards, we saw the Minister of Defence and the D-G appeared on TV at 5 pm on weekdays. Months later, we saw cartoons featuring clowns miming at odd hours in odd channels. In the recent weeks, the numbers of infected cases spike without hesitation. Hence the above Headlines.
Since March/April 2020, I have suggested that a TASK FORCE of specialists in epidemiology, virology, infectious diseases, hospital administrators and senior matrons, officials of the Ministries of Health, Finance, Information and Interior be established. Nothing happened. In fact, I repeated my suggestions every month which included the Government to raise RM 250 Billion + RM 150 Billion as a contingency whilst it arranged to borrow 3,000 ventilators from China.
I also stressed that the FRONTLINERS are not the hospitals and staff but the 32 MILLION RAKYAT themselves which are actually the frontliners who are attacked by the virus first.
Since the 32 Million Rakyat are the FRONTLINERS exposed to attack by the virus which once inside the human body no drug can cure, IT IS PARAMOUNT THAT PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE BE IMPRESSED UPON THE 32 MILLION RAKYAT through the Government propaganda machine, Ministry of Information (no allowance in the 2021 Budget), RELA, FELDA, D.Os. Penghulus of kampongs and new villages etc with the disbursement of information on the dangers of the virus beginning from the cities and towns outwards to the countryside – Seeking the co-operation of the Rakyat to wear masks at all times outside their houses, wash hands frequently or on return, keep a social distance and away from crowded places or transportation and obey Government directives. THIS IS STANDARD INTERNATIONAL EPIDEMIOLOGICAL MEASURES ADOPTED IN THE EARLY AND MID-20TH CENTURY ON PLAGUE, LEPROSY, TB, POLIOMYELITIS, ETC. Vaccines are no cure all for virus infections but only to prevent infections and last only for a short duration in the case of the Covid-19 virus vaccines.
Since the above measure of educating the 32 Million Rakyat was not implemented but only chasing after ever increasing clusters of virus infected cases, we must expect more and more infected cases to crop up all over the country with millions of the Rakyat not understanding anything about the Coronavirus.
For example, it was reported today that a family of 16 went out as a group in the Klang Valley and returned home with the whole group of 16 was infected. One of them died. This clearly showed the Rakyat have not got the message that they are the FRONTLINERS and not the hospitals and all 32 Million Rakyat must be educated simply on the dangers of a coronavirus infection by which there is no cure. THE EDUCATION MUST BE REPEATED IN SIMPLE TERMS OVER AND OVER AGAIN – exactly like what Lee Kuan Yew did to the Malaysian Chinese that he was the greatest for decades ! In the case of the coronavirus, it is for Life !
Accumulatively in time, this measure is far cheaper and effective to reduce the infected cases as proven years ago in other countries. And China and Taiwan imposed these epidemiological measures on the Pandemic strictly due to their experience during the Harbin, Manchuria outbreak of the plague at the turn of the 20th Century.
The Coronavirus will be with us forever and ever.

My advice for Chinese (and Indian, but especially Chinese) Malaysians is simply this. Be grateful that you are allowed to stay and given (some Malay leaders say accidentally) citizenship in Malaysia. Yes, may be the Federal Constitution protects your minority status. But remember also in 1965, Chinese-majority Singapore was ejected by Malaysian Parliament with just a simple vote. Yes, just like that. What you have received can also be taken back if you lot misbehave and talk too much. Federal Constitution or not.
Take this as a good advice from a fellow Malaysian, a Sabah native, Bumiputera, Muslim, son of the soil, or whatever you lot want to call me. But they aren’t many of my type among Bumiputeras in Malaysia. You can make fun of me and I will just treat you as an idiot, that’s all. But if you lot insist, I can also ship you back to commie China.
There is a limit how much economic prowess can sustain China’s journey in the modern era.. the basic fundamental is still the same. You lot are the only country that speaks Mandarin. You have no friends other than yourselves. Just like Japan. That’s why Japan lost the war; it had no allies. But since then Japan knows its place and behaves herself and just toe behind the US President today. Japan even refuses to send troops and build a globe-trotting navy, because it knows it is a waste of money and effort. Only the Japanese speak Japanese, no one else. It has no real allies. No one they can say a Special Relationship with. Not even their American dad.
So for China, here is my advice. Only the Chinese speak Mandarin as their official language. Absolutely no one else. It has no friends, no allies. Just opportunistic people wanting to sell trinkets to 1 billion gullible Chinese consumers from everywhere including Malaysia.

3. Khabarnya AIH melalui International Court of Justice (ICJ) telah mebatalkan semua perjanjian pinjaman dari harta AIH ini yang selama ini diberikan kepada banyak negara di dunia (74 buah termasuk Malaysia).
4. AIH juga telah menuntut SEMUA hartanya yang dipinjamkan, dicuri beserta faedah dikembalikan. Jika tidak AIH tidak akan benar Perjanjian Baru Pinjaman (PBP) dilakukan.

ADDENDUM TO MY COMMENT ON SINGAPORE’S GDP in response to ‘sc’.
I have listed out the GDP of Singapore through the years, courtesy of Wikipedia and the Straits Times, Singapore. There is a small detail which I left out which is this :-
The GDP 2019 for Singapore was 1.9% as was reported in the Wikipedia.
The GDP 2020 -ditto- was -5.8% as was reported in the Straits Times Singapore.
Therefore the GDP actual contraction for Singapore in 2020 was -7.7%. The Straits Times Singapore reported it was only -5.8%.

Kes 1MDB adalah punca kekalahan UMNO di musim GE yang lalu. Namun sekarang pun mereka rasa masih power, boleh rampas apa saja, seperti mereka rampas Johor dari Bersatu dan rampas Perak dari Bersatu.

‘ SINGAPORE GDP SHRINKS RECORD -5.8% IN 2020. ‘ Singapore Straits Times.
The Singapore GDP was estimated to be -4% to -6%.
In his exuberance without facts, ‘sc’ claimed US$ 64,000 per capita GDP for Singapore without a date ! ‘sc’ has to retract the stupendous GDP performance of Singapore now with its ‘pathetic’ -5.8% GDP in 2020.
Here is a record of Singapore’s GDP from Wikipedia.
1. 1965-1977. GDP 12.7% average annually with Singapore Keppel Harbour using Indian coolies.
Where did Singapore get its wealth from ?
Smuggling scores of cigarettes and liquor factories to Indonesia and Malaysia, both teetotaller countries to achieve US$ 300 Billion by 1990 to push Third World Singapore to the First ? How many such factories to make up to US$ 300 Billion?
Why Singapore with Keppel Harbour and Indian coolies, 1965-1977 could achieve a fizzy 12.5% GDP annually and now Singapore, a First World country could not breach 3% GDP from 2002-2020 ?
2. 2002-2014. The GDP did not breach 3.2% annually.
3. 2015-2016. The GDP was just 2% annually.
4. 2018. The GDP was 3.1%
5. 2019. The GDP was 1.9%

a) According to the Wikipedia, ‘sc’, your use of per capita GDP is incorrectly because it is not a measure of personal income.
b) Singapore’s wherewithal was already in DECLINE throughout the 21st Century. Lee Kuan Yew’s 4 Initiatives to save Singapore and his Inheritors eg. Temasek, FTs, 2 casinos, TPPA (CPTPP) the Malaysia/Malays/Malaysians/SMEs Killer, all failed by 2017. In 2020, the Covid-19 virus Pandemic stripped Singapore naked and gave it a final push into NEGATIVE GDP TERRITORY. His GDP components were based on Transportation, Tourism, Construction, Finance, Manufacturing, Services, Property, Trade, Miscellaneous. These were old World pre-20 Century and pre-Covid-19 virus Pandemic ideas which are now outmoded and happened well before the sudden arrival of the Covid-19 virus Pandemic !
d. Lee Kuan Yew did not invest in 4,000 tons of GOLD at US$ 300 per ounce from 1959-2000 when he was the blue-eyed boy of Uncle Sam ! If Singapore now has 4,000 tons of GOLD, she would be King of the Hill and not just a Knight in rusty armour with our beloved Malaysia in her little back pocket !
e. MAN PROPOSES. GOD DISPOSES ! Singapore now scrambles to make ends meet. In 2020, Singapore spent S$ 90+ Billions to keep afloat inclusive of S$ 32 Billions from her reserves from the Cold War 1948-1989 ! This clearly showed the yawning deficit void, Singapore had to bear in 2020. And 2021, S$ 50 Billion ?
f. I have proposed that Singapore confederates with the United Kingdom for some years to benefit Singapore, the UK, ASEAN and the World. The Mother of all confederations. A FIRST for Singapore again ! My proposal envisages that Singapore abandons Lee Kuan Yew’s Policy of being superior to our beloved Malaysia. This was his obsession. This was his mistake!

Jadi kalau di Malaysia mengkritik utk kebaikan dan masa depan negara pun tak boleh sprt waktu Bos Tak Malu memerintah, bila rakyat mengkritik beliau akan diganggu oleh agensi2 kerajaan, maka apa bezanya Malaysia dgn China sebuah negara komunis? Rupa2nya Dr Moran Si Plan ini telah dicuci otak sekian lama hingga tak boleh berfikir kritis. But he goes SILENT and avoid my examples and explanations of Singapore remarkable achievements with Singapore airline, Changi airport, city safety and cleanliness, top-notch medical doctors where our sultans and politicians seek medical treatment, James Dyson’s Electric Vehicle but now called off project, her total GDP is equal or higher than Malaysia with less than 6 million population, low GDP growth rate of advance economies, Britain using Singapore success and achievement after breaking away from Malaysia as an example and model for Brexit.
He gave his usual long winded and boring story about his proud achievement in 1962 of building first condo in Singapore and other story that I am not interested in continue reading. He diverts the topics and goes on to talk about HSR project. Even bold head and twinpeaks also praise and recognize success of Singapore and not on same page with him. Twinpeaks even talks more sense about economy than he is now. He wants to show his patriotism here but I have never seen him write a comment in Malay. I have written comments in Malay numerous times and his memory has failed him. I can understand the feeling of a 100-year-old man. It is better for man and woman in general not to live too long as people you know might have passed on before you. In the end, you might feel lonely like this 100-year-old man. I am too busy to engaging with this old man and perhaps HBT can keep him away from loneliness.
On Malaysia’s future.
This is my list of things if I was in charge (a Big IF, that is).
1) Double the minimum wage after a careful study of the needs of ordinary citizens and the families vis-a-vis the profit motives of corporations operating inside Malaysia. The right balance can be reached. Inflationary tendencies can be controlled through prohibitory legislations.
2) Introduce a new National Industrialization Policy that redirects the focus of financial support from banking institutions and the financial market towards export-led high technology sectors and global brands. Corporations currently in the plantation and construction sectors will be required to gradually phase out of these industries and redirect their resources towards the high technology sectors ONLY.
3) Introduce a new Infrastructure Policy that relieves the Federal and State governments from financing major road, airport and seaport infrastructures nationwide, towards requiring all major corporations headquartered in the country to contribute jointly towards their own infrastructure needs as well as contributing jointly towards financing the infrastructure needs in the rural areas of the country, including village roads construction and maintenance, water, electricity and telecommunication supplies.
4) Introduce a Corporation Policy that penalizes specific corporations that abrogate their new obligations in the form of higher corporate tax rates and other financial penalties.
5) Introduce a New Education Policy that focuses on training students to become financially independent in their future, rather than training for the needs of corporations.
6) Introduce a New Equal Opportunity Policy that enables free enterprise to flourish in every corner of the nation, backed by government trainings in free enterprise upstarts and seed capitalization. Major corporations will be required to jointly contribute to assist the government in this regard. Small business upstarts should become a national habit in future and not just a slogan as currently the practice.
7) Introduce a Constitutional amendment that prohibits race-based and region-based political parties. All vernacular schools will also be closed. Bahasa Malaysia and English will be the sole official languages in the country. All races will be required to see themselves as Malaysian first, albeit with a Bumiputera slant as expected.
That’s just for a start. It is quite drastic especially for a country that has pandered to the whims of big business since colonial times until today. A neo-liberal future that will drive Malaysia towards becoming a truly developed country.
BUT, THE UMNO BARU MP FROM PERAK WAS THE ‘SELECTED’ MINISTER TO REPRESENT MALAYSIAN OF 32 MILLION POPULATION IN UNITED NATIONS, NY, USA, SIBOTAK.

Does news item such as this true or false, meaningful or otherwise ?
I dare say this is the result of a slowing economy with no positive Policy to drive our economy forwards which is now coupled with the rising cases of Covid-19 day by day. Unless, standard epidemiological measures are applied on the whole 32 million population, no one can really predict when our beloved Malaysia will emerge nearly free from the virus which is now forecast to be with us forever and ever !
Let us hope the Spirit of Unity of the Malays 2021 will rise in 2021. Let the Malays realise that for our beloved Malaysia and her Rakyat to be a strong, united and progressive again with dignity and self-respect, it is as simple as this – the Unity of the Malays.
We should buy a ticket home for those who say otherwise – the papalist Leaders, the political Pied Pipers of Hamelin, trouble-makers etc.
We Malaysians should do our own thing through consensus, rule of the Law under the revered Constitution as safe-guarded by the Yang Di Pertuan Agong and the Royal Sultans and our
Golden Values with Justice and Fair-play which have stood the test of time and brought the Rakyat, PEACE, HARMONY and PROSPERITY to the envy of our rivals from 1945 to 2003.

Singapore is a developed economy and in general developed countries such as Europe, Japan, Korea, USA have lower GDP growth rate than developing countries.

Per capita income is not income per se but the economic output of the nation calculated on a yearly basis. What it indicates is the productivity level of the economic system of that country. Normally for a developed country, anything less than USD30,000 GDP per capita is sub par. A developed economy comprises high-end manufacturing and services mainly, including defense industries and financial centres. Singapore belongs to this category. Malaysia on the other hand is considered a near-developed economy because it is still reliant on extractive industries, agriculture and low-end manufacturing industries for exports. They don’t fetch a very high price in the world market, thus Malaysia’s per capita GDP or economic output is still around USD10k level. In Malaysia, the minimum salary is RM1,200 and a 2-bedroom apartment rent is around RM1,000 per month. In England, the minimum salary is 1,400 pound sterling and a 2-bedroom apartment rent is around 1,000 pound sterling.

The Consortium did not bring out a single sen to save the textile mill, the biggest in the country. They expected me to abscond in 2 weeks. The mill’s coffers were empty. But in 2 years, I made millions of ringgits for the shareholders even though I was not a shareholder and kept the 1,200 Malay workers happy and satisfied working 3 shifts day and night for 9 years. I was paid only RM 7,000 per month, with an Alfa Romeo, no housing allowance and one month’s bonus. At the end in 1984, the Consortium collected their money in full and walked away as though they did not know me.
What do you know, ‘sc’ ? The satisfaction was I became Malaysia’s only home grown real industrialist to this day ! I could make textile machinery, light arms, motor vehicles, steel etc. But I found Government Policy was for the FTZ and the closest aides were each having a Project. I believe all Blogs which permit strangers to comment do attract racists and religious bigots like the 2 snakes in the grass, “LOOK EAST” and “HBT”.
The former of Jaffa origins, the latter, Hainan. Both are psychotic hate Islam and the Malays because of their own stupidity and laziness when young as they spent time playing marbles unlike us working hard and saving lives.
Snake “LOOK EAST” emigrated to Melbourne, Australia long ago whilst “HBT” lives in the Subang area of Selangor.
Both the cowards hiding behind a couple of alphabets only have Dutch courage to bully, victimise, insult, libel and slander as non-entities. They are definitely NOT doctors, lawyers, engineers, accountants or other professionals but bombed-out shells of Humanity from the Seventies and the Eighties watching their descendants grow up in poverty because of their own failings which have nothing to do with others.
Both took to comments of verbosity with no official statistics but snippets from newspapers of ill-repute.
For example, the snake in the grass, “LOOK EAST” still insists 1 Million Malaysian Chinese emigrated to Singapore between 1990 to 2020 in the face of the reliable Singapore’s Statistics Department, 2010 which was the last official survey done.
Scientifically, from 2000 to 2010, we get only 8,600 per year, Malaysian Chinese entered Singapore to work and return later. If we extrapolate, from 2011 to 2020, another 86,000 entered, this brings a total of only 471,000 Malaysian Chinese now living temporarily in Singapore.

My Hong Kong friends told me such crazy snakes are best thrown into the sea because these are so crazy even a lousy snake soup no one wants in Hong Kong.
