2. He is 64 years old and 50 years really means a life sentence for him. The prosecution was disappointed as they had asked for 80 years. I suppose the prosecution expects him to be discharged at the end of 80 years when he would be 144 years old! He must live to that age so he can suffer fully for his crimes.
3. There is no doubt that Taylor was guilty as charged. The prosecution told about how he was responsible for the killings in a
neighbouring country. On one occasion he did not stop a soldier from forcing a woman to carry a sack-full of decapitated heads. That was truly inhuman, more inhuman than the killings and the hideous injuries inflicted by another President on hundreds of thousands of Afghans, Iraqis and others, more inhuman than the tortures of prisoners in Guantanamo, Abu Ghraib and elsewhere.
5. But leaders of powerful countries cannot be arrested and tried, not even when their war crimes are much worse.
6. The leaders of powerful countries have starved little new-born babies, deprived them of medicine, and exposed them to depleted uranium until half-a-million of them died in Iraq. As Madeline Albright said, it was worth it.
7. Leaders of powerful nations who had set up the International Criminal Court, who had formulated the laws governing wars, who had tried war criminals and sentenced them to death; leaders of powerful countries are privileged, are above the very laws they formulated. No! They are actually heroes and their pictures are put up in the Presidential Palace with proper ceremonies, so the nation would always remember them for their bravery in killing babies and potential terrorists.
8. And we are told to apply the rule of law in our countries if we want to be democrats like them. If we don’t then we might be replaced through regime change or be arrested, tried and jailed for a hundred years. Truly we are living in a world devoted to fairness and justice, a world where full legal process would be instituted against us because we are weak. Only the weak will be punished; the strong will be celebrated as heroes for committing the same crimes.
9. Its like what our teachers told us long ago, “Do as I told you, but don’t do as I do.”
10. And the response to this would be that UMNO is much worse.
Salam hormat Tun,
Sekian, terima kasih.
Wahai Encik Sudin,
Glad to see you are back here and reading my comments. The question was geared towards Amin Tan who so clearly brushes aside every study conducted on Malaysia espc by foreign organisations. Thats that. I just wanted to hear his side of the story.
There is no need to be nasty. I know you are a patriot and so are all of us. Hence, we choose to come back here everyday to post our thoughts and opinion.
I jst mentioned the price of your soul coz you clearly stated how people are separated through status and taxes. So basically, I have a higher right than you to comment. Lets have everyone else see how ridiculous your statement is.
Good morning YAB,
65. In Herald Tribune newspaper, it was reported that the Muslim brotherhood rebel leaders with full of jealousy and vengeance on president Mubarak and his government that have orchestrated the most massive Muslims demonstration in “Teheran Square” that sent Mubarak to life prison by Egypt Court had realized the hard facts that they gained nothing after working so hard in this “middle-east war zone region”.
66. According to the newspaper, the rebel leaders realized that by sending Mubarak to jail had made them gained nothing economically nor politically by the end of the day.
67. The western journalist who covered a statement made by the rebel leaders as saying “We’ve managed to take off the plastic cover of the machines”.
68. What is that means to me as a simple strict principle voter who prefer to perceive trust as risk that we have to take once in a life time as Malaysian?
69. No doubt this Muslim brotherhood rebel leaders have uncovered the plastic cover via violence and revenge via viral effect.
70. Now, they have admitted that they still have a long way to learn how to fix the machine technically, with no financial backup from these poor and “berhutang banyak” demonstrators to get the machine run for them.
71. If UMNO VPs, PKR Anwar Ibrahim and PAS Spiritual Leaders think that their political unity stand can get more Malay votes, be the guests.
72. If MCA and DAP political parties think that their political ideology is the best of the best by not admitting their own “kow tow stail”, be the quests.
73. Why political parties choose to contest in their sure win constituencies, YAB?
74. More camps to be born inside UMNO is definitely a good returned value political moderate risk that Mukhriz has inherited from his kind and caring father that the SIL, Mr KJ cannot crook, I mean steal, dear old Joshua Lopez.
75. Want to learn the secret recipe, pay for it because they is no free lunch in this world, Joshua Lopez.
76. Sdr Zukliflee ni takut bayang2, let him deal with his Allah.
77. If anything bad or ugly happens to the pair of Panda Bears due to Malays jealousy, our Putrajaya and future PMs will be fully responsible.
That’s all, YAB.
Salam Tun.
Previously a joker reiterated that since the court declared Anwar was found not guilty (simply due to Anwar’s cement that was extracted from inside Saiful’s anus was not convincingly narrated), this joker just ignore whatever reasoning and he kept mumbling out loud “Anwar is clean”.
When the same joker read the 1001 slanders & twisted news reports by the foreign media about Malaysia, he believed them all and in fact on numerous occasions he helped to spread them in Tun’s blogsite!
Now when suddenly this joker came across a foreign news report which stated “Malaysia is the safest country in SEA”, he became most suspicious!
He claimed himself as a Malaysian citizen, yet he’s only very excited to read the purportedly negative reporting about Malaysia and despised/unconvinced at any good news written on Malaysia!
He’s also very proud to portray himself as NEUTRAL!!
Wake up ‘juks’!
Are you back in Malaysia? Six years is definitely a very long period to complete your 1st degree.
Probably the “name your price” phrase that you once directed to me did not work out to your liking in UK varsities?
You could possibly learn from that racist Dong Zong chief how to obtain the easiest and highest educational qualifications, just ask him “name your price”!
Dear Tun,
Please allow me to answer Mr juks
I quote
“Dear Amin Tan,
I recently came across a study that places Malaysia as the safest country in South East Asia. Yes, we are safer than our neighbour Singapore. I cant say for the rest as they are lagging behind us in terms of other aspects. Just curious if you would agree or disagree on that basis? I do recall previously that you are not too fond of index and studies done on Malaysia. Oh also, education wise, we are apparently deemed (perception wise) to be better than countries like Germany. You however, think that other index espc on Corruption is biased. Do you honestly think Singapore is safer than Malaysia?”
Mr juks,
I have been traveling quite frequently to Singapore lately. This is my sincerely and honest observation
1. I don’t feel threatened in Singapore or in Malaysia. Both countries are equally safe.
2. Corruption level in Singapore or in Malaysia does not affect me as they are not done openly. It is only exaggerated by political opponents of each political party to gain political mileage. If any body has proof, don’t just talk and exaggerate, please be brave enough and responsible, report to MACC or SPRM. I am sick of false allegations as found in the so called alternative media. Please help our society get rid of false accusation like this minister and that minister has so many millions in Singapore banks. It reflects the evil and spiteful hearts of those who manufacture such untrue stories. Some of them claim to have clean hearts.
3. Singapore is not politically tolerant. Singapore is run by the efficient DICTATOR, super intelligent Cambridge trained eminent lawyer. There is peace and tranquility in political Singapore. All the opposition politicians are sued into bankruptcy. Do you sincerely think Datuk Ambiga and Anwar Ibrahim can survive as street rebel rousers as in BERSEH 3 in Singapore?.
4. Let us support the legally elected government of the day. We have a compassionate government. Let us be thankful for being a Malaysian living in a peaceful and bountiful country called Malaysia, a multi racial country.

Simple mind
You have a simple mind indeed. Equality does not mean equal amount but rather equal opportunity. It is not about the White rights. It is about empowering everyone and giving them a fair go regardless of sex, race or background. The Whites had to go through a dark stage in their history. Do you think all White are born with the understanding of equality? What about the thousand of people who sacrificed their lives during the American Civil War to guard and preserve their believes that the Blacks are not meant to be slaves? What about the cultural revolution of the 50s to 70s, to change the perception of ordinary White Americans that Blacks are not second class citizens? The White were re-educated. They learnt fast and progress rapidly. In just 60 years, from the days where blacks were not allowed to share the same toilet with whites to a black becoming a president.
You may not be receptive to notion of equality solely because Malaysia does give equal rights to its people. The constitution of Malaysia does not even support the notion of equality. Special privileges just because you are born into the right race? What is this? The SS?
They tell us about Human Rights, but they have Guantanamo bay.
They tell us about war crimes, as in Bosnia, but George Bush who was charged was not jailed?
They tell us about Equality, but the poor farm hands in US are all Hispanics, colored people.
This is the reality of White rights. If you are white, Christians from a G20 country, you can get away with it.
That’s what they call democracy.
Dear Amin Tan,
I recently came across a study that places Malaysia as the safest country in South East Asia. Do you honestly think Singapore is safer than Malaysia?
I can agree with you for once on this. Studies and surveys done on Malaysia are indeed extremely biased and ludicrous.

the imperialist have the absolute control of the media. The control the way the masses behaves and reacts. Rockefella did says that all it need is to create a significant turn of event and the world will embrace the new order….people are just like herds…they are so predictable. It is the voices of the few left that is continuing to prevent the world being dominate by the imperialist again. NOw they are repackaging themselves in the guise of NGOs and have recruited many little generals to serve their interests. In due season these people will emerge one by one, nation by nation, as we have known of some locally too….
But will the people wake up?….Im afraid NO coz it is also been written in the good books….In the last days people will be lovers of themselves….incidentally the easiest way to convinced another is to say the things that they want to hear….

Mahathir holds a gun against Anglo-American Imperialist? That’s a laugh. Where is the evidence? It has long time been alleged that Mahathir had to employ lobbyists to arrange for tea with Georgie Bush Jr. This has never been denied by Mahathir.
I don’t think the opposition is any better. However, UMNO has been getting much weaker since the reign of Badawi. Najib is good but there are still many things not done despite the promises. One example is police reform. Crime level is rising, we now see snatch thief everywhere, but in the newspaper we have minister saying otherwise. What do you think of people reading news like that? Would they even believe it and put faith in UMNO?
Another is the issue of a sitting white elephant. Barisan has grown so big and people inside are sitting so comfortably not doing much work. Take MCA for example, there are so many infightings inside that nothing much is done outside. DAP on the otherhand is busy going out gearing support. The same for other parties in Barisan. So I think there need to be overhaul in the Barisan culture to reflect current issues and society.

Mahathir holding a gun against a bigger gun? Ha! Ha! Ha! Which big gun?
Rumours had it that Mahathir had to pay lobbist to have tea with George W Bush. Mahathir had never denied this.
Dear Tun,
C.H.Liew is level headed, sensible, reasonable and matured. You are truly neutral and non partisan. If only we have more people like you, there won’t be so much bitterness and more harmony, peace and prosperity.

juks,
Penang is better off with the chinese helming the state?
What about many other states and territories that the Malays are governing??????????????????????? If you think that you are superior you should have stayed in China and work yourself to become millionaire or successful there.
you come here and than you tell us that you are better and we “the malay head” are “stupid, idiots and bodoh”.
That is why we never like people like you. You really think that you know everything and tell us what to do. If we are not good enough for you here than you can always travel back or go elsewhere. Period.
What and Why ?
Is the basic foundation and formation of United Nation ?
What is it,s purpose ?
If these very important to have these very question answered correctly
If not United Nations existance is very wrong
It will drives the World to Discomforts, thus leads to Chaos
It,s proven now when United Nation was puppeted by United States, even any other nation, the World will not be at Peace
So, every single steps ahead United Nations do
Will be wrong
As the primary purpose, the very intention is wrong
None can be right if we cannot clear the doubts
Of the existance of United Nation
I think United Nation must resolves
The Basic purpose of the Existance of United Nation First
Before they can leads the World to Peace and Harmony
No need to interfere with what happen in Syria
They can manage own their own
The more interference the more killings will be done
None can solves Syria
Kopi Anan must identify the purpose
The existance of United Nation
It is important to the World
United States drives United Nations that drives our World
To War, to Unrest of the World
The basic foundations is wrong
That concludes to the World Today
Dear Tun,
May I refer to donplaypuks,
Mr donplaypuks,
Your wild allegation of corruption by the government has agitated and blinded you so much that you have become so bitter and vengeful as if you yourself commit sodomy. Much as you fancy sodomite as your future malay muslim PM, you do not have to parrot him verbatim on unproven allegation of government corruption and claim yourself to be righteous and angelic. It is all baseless allegation and defamation of the legally elected government of the day simply and purely due to election campaigning and propaganda. Only gullible people like donplaypuks are so totally consumed, blinded and carried away as if all those allegations are gospel truth and real. In actual fact, it is in your greedy heart to take away Malay special privileges, as promised by PKR that actually endear you so much to the future sodomite PM and make you what you are, a senseless and blind follower of false accusation of government corruption. You are not only unpatriotic but you make false and sinful accusation of government corruption which clearly reflect your evil heart and bad intention.

i think that the very problem with this laws is it is unfair and benefited only the might…
1) taking the theory of war for instance…according to theory of war..the leaders who lose the war will be sentence to death as committing war crimes even though they were not really committed the crime…if it is a war between state actor then the losing party will have to pay some amount of money…on the other hand, those who win the war must also pay compensation to the other state to help develop it back
2) funny thing is..this is “powerful state” had never obey the laws formulated by them…Saddam was punish for war crimes , the Germans were also punish for war crimes in WW2 not only because they commit the crime but also because they lose the war…the Americans were not punish for the killing for thousand innocent Iraqis..and also bombing of Berlin which kills thousand lives ..why ?…because the won the war..
3) but when they are fall on the losing side…they never actually pay the same price as this people does…us lost to Vietnam in Vietnam war…looking back on what have happened in those time, i think the Americans are fit enough to be charge for committing war crime…they used orange gas to kills the viet chong that hide in the jungle at the same time destroying the forest, tree, crops and polluted the river…that is against the rule in Geneva convention and law of armed conflict…killing civilian including kids and women s were also against the law of armed conflict as this people were protected group in Geneva convention…
4) however…you started to misleading us when you mentioned “we are told to apply the rule of law in our countries if we
want to be democrats like them”..i know that your “old friend” like to talk about rule of law in his speech…here’s the thing..it is true that the phrase “rule of law” was introduce by bush senior together with new world order to started one world government…but the “rule of law” mention by anwar is not the same as what was introduce by bush..when he said the rule of law he actually means that no one should be above the law..e
5) why we need rule of law in malaysia ?…the elites group in malaysia are imune to law…you may disagree with me on this part..but i have a strong argument to prove i am right…shahrizat escaped punishment although it is obvious that she is responsible for embezzlement of the 250 million of taxpayers money…Tan Sri Haji Hussein and Nor Mohemmed Yaacop escaped punishment for their involve in BNM forex scandals which cause minimum about 10 million ringgit…yourself and daim are also responsible for this…its is impossible that you and daim did not know about bnm involvement in forex market…khir toyo was only sentence for 1 year in prison although he stole million dollars of state reserve…najib and razak baginda escaped punishment in the murder of altantuya and the commission of 114 euro which they receive from the french defense company…
6) why ?…because they are the elites…that’s why we need rule of law in this nation so that this people including yourself are not above the law
Dear Tun,

If we support Pakatan and PKR, and it is led by a Malay Muslim, how do you conclude that people like me are anti-Islam? You think and write like an unschooled, immature and illogical imbecile!

You use pretty strong language, provocative and insulting words indicating you must be highly schooled from Cambridge, suffering from superiority chauvinistic complex. Your sweeping accusation against the legally elected government of the day is wildly exaggerated. From the way you attack others, you must be an angel or holy saint from Malaysia Today recruited to do battle in this blog. From the rough language you used, you must be descendent from foul mouth singkeh of which human race?
Success is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration. Perspiration means sweat or hard work. Inspiration means intelligence. Those who have both would be at the top of the ladder in society. Those who lack both would be assigned to abject poverty.

I cannot agree with you more of the hypocrisy of the US. However, this is not the monopoly of the US. In this world, might is right. When you were prime minister, you were not slow in using the ISA against your opponent and you were always right. Why? Because you are the most brillant person in Malaysia? Or is it because you hold the gun!

Hi
I am not pro-Anwar or whoever and I try not to be prejudice too and I hope you are too. As a matter of fact I do not trust people who put their children or relative into power via the backdoor. It is true that corruption or one-sided judgement is part and parcel of Malaysian daily life and you or anyone cannot deny that. The best for Malaysians is that have 2 parties rule with 60/40% so that the politicians can be the true guard to our country’s wealth and well-being. Let the politicians work as now they command too much power and work too little and best they talk too much. Let them fight among themselves and protect us Malaysians interest rather than to specific people only. Let the politicians sack each other. Today DAP, PKR, PAS or Anwar or whoever is in the opposition but if and when they become the Govt or PM or majority they will become and do exactly as the current Govt or PM or Ministers . It happens to every country in the world including us. Why, because when you want to test a person (man or woman) give him or her power and they will change into ……??? Politicians only cakap cakap sahaja like salesperson to win a sale or a seat so don’t fall into the trap!!!
Tun did a good job for Malaysians but could have been better if not for all those people using his name to fool us Malaysians. Take away all racial and religious prejudice and people can think and do better. Malaysian of all races and the world are too engross with these two subject and we see all those nonsense statements and comments from Ministers or Govt. representatives or bloggers that make matters worst. Take or give recommendation when or where it is due not because of emotional reason or narrow minded.
Anyway for fun, do you personally think Anwar can be PM?? Personally I think he got too much cobwebs and the task to untangle the cobwebs will make him too busy to concentrate on other matters.
REMEMBER NO RACIAL AND RELIGIOUS PREJUDICE AND PEACE WILL PREVAIL. No one race or religion is better than the other it is only in our mind and thoughts. Throw the bad thoughts and you see everything and everyone that our creator created in is world is so beautiful and peaceful.
YAB,
57. Our life is at risk everyday.
58. Does this mean we are living in fear everyday?
59. I always believe that “revenge” happens when we are hunger for wealth and power only.
60. There are many things that we can do for Malaysia.
61. Time to let go and hope for the best.
62. Time to learn to deal with human weaknesses.
63. Corruption and power abuse are snow ball effects.
64. If we do not start to deal with them, it will become the major disaster to the country.
That’s all, YAB.
Good morning YAB,
45. It’s time for me to move on with my life.
46. Non-Malay Malaysians are disappointed with Malay politics of PAS, UMNO, Perkasa and PKR.
47. I do not intent to influence YAB as Malay 1st.
48. Politics is just only a small portion of life.
49. The government of the day is facing rakyat confidence crisis and stiff competitions from hungry and bigger emerging economies like Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam.
50. Where would UMNO wants Malaysia to be 20 years from now?
51. Can the government of the day make fatwa on non-Malay Muslim and Christians to pay zakat to replace taxes as Moderate Islamic Model?
52. UMNO is not a friendly coalition in the past.
53. UMNO is not a friendly coalition today either.
54. UMNO will not be a friendly coalition tomorrow.
55. What is Putrajaya stands for, YAB in the context of Tunku Abdul Rahman’s stands as Bapa Merdeka?
56. Can Najib be Bapa Malaysia even if I vote BN?
Goodbye, YAB.
Assalamualaikum Tun.
UMNO memang worse.
Tapi Anwar Ibrahim korang takut nak sentuh pulak.Takut berlaku rejim change.
Mungkin orang politik ingat diaorang je main international.
Orang tasawuf tak main international.
Worse.
Terima kasih Tun.
Tun,
I think your Angst is against Justice being parsed out in
proportion to what you feel is equitable.
If a small country is run by a small despot only tiny
evil dictators are brought to Justice. So, if a nation
is powerful they get away with evil. That is not necessarily
so. The Axis, namely Hitler was defeated, albeit, it took
a World War to defeat him.
A powerful nation like the USA. Well, Yahweh will deal with
them in due time.
Per 6. I think you are specifically referring of the US invasion
of Iraq. I would like to know specifically what your true objections
are. Is it because the US responded to a despotic Sunni leader who
murdered many more during his reign (Iraqis, Iranians, Kuwaitis,
Kurds etc) or because of the deaths of Iraqis. Of the half a million
children that you claim were murdered by the US. Are the US DU munitions
and weapons the cause of all of that or are you just blabbing off statistics.
These are my statistics. There used to be over 1.2 million Christians
in Iraq. They’re down to 0.2 million. Mostly butchered by angry Muslims.
How do I know that? Cultural relevance, you get the picture.
Lets look at the issue of Evil from another perspective. Is doing nothing.
Ignoring Evil the righteous solution.
Assads Systematic Butchering of Syrians in Hula, Hama, Mazraat …
Town after Town. In-Action from Self Righteous Muslim Nations.
Russia and China specifically vetoing for Evil Staring at Humanity.
Lets not be cynical. Tun, when you compare Evilness on a relative scale.
The US is pretty clear when it comes to their foreign policy. You can compete
in their cut-throat free market geo-political system, pretend to be a Holy
Islamic System or accept a Socialist Despotic System.
Shalom In Yeshuas Name
Salam Tun,
Amin Tan says…
All the above who are regular commenters in this blog fail to realise that it is absolutely due to the ambition of only one person, Anwar Ibrahim to be the Prime Minister of Malaysia, by hook or by crook. All of us are the pawns of his very personal game.
Here, here now Amin Tan, calm down, he is not yet our PM. I thought howver he wanted to be President, and i think that is a grand idea. I think we need one.
Thank You Tun
Dear Tun Dr Mahathir,
10. And the response to this would be that UMNO is much worse.
Ah, you are so mean ! so unfair !
But i thank you all the same.
“Yes, UMNO is much worse and utterly corrupted says Anwar Ibrahim, juks, donplaypuks…They are the hard core incorrigible anti-UMNO, anti-Muslims group…” Amin Tan.

Sorry for commenting off topic.
Condemning or criticizing the government does not mean that we support PR, Anwar Ibrahim, PKR, PAS and DAP.
Until now, I never praise or promote PR, Anwar Ibrahim, PKR, PAS and DAP in any of my comment in this blog but someone wrote that I am the hard core incorrigible anti UMNO, anti Muslims group who would vote Pakatan Rakyat (evil collusion of PKR, PAS and DAP to brainwash the gullible voters).
I condemned and criticized the wrong doings by the government. Unless if I live in North Korea, I will then think twice before I condemn or criticize the government. Since I live in Malaysia, it is not a sin to condemn or criticize the government when the government did something wrong. We are allowed to condemn and criticize our government like what Tun did when Pak Lah was in office.
I don’t bother to condemn or criticize PR because they are not the federal government, they are not the government in my constituency, and they do not hold and spend the taxpayers’ income tax money.
Why should Tun bother to condemn or criticize the opposition party of the USA, UK or Singapore when they are not in power? Why should I bother to condemn PR when they do not hold the power? When they do not hold and spend the taxpayers’ income tax money?
My intention are righteous. I condemn and criticize the government with a hope that the government will become a better government. At the end of the day, the people will benefit from a good and better governance, be it from BN or PR.
Tun himself did condemn Pak Lah (which indirectly means he condemned the government under Pak Lah) so that we all would get the benefit from a good and better governance by Pak Lah administration. What was his (Tun Mahathir) intention when he (Tun Mahathir) did that? Was he (Tun Mahathir) a hard core incorrigible anti UMNO, anti Muslims group who would vote Pakatan Rakyat (evil collusion of PKR, PAS and DAP to brainwash the gullible voters) when he condemned and criticized Pak Lah?
If Tun or any government supporters do not wish to condemn or criticize the wrong doings by the government, that was/is their choice and I accept it with an open heart. Janji tak kacau aku sudah.
GOD willing, I will condemn and criticize the PR government for any wrong governance (if they become the federal government). At that time and moment, I don’t bother to condemn or criticize our current BN/UMNO government anymore as they are no longer in power and they no longer hold and spend the taxpayers’ income tax money.
It is not good to accuse or label other people of this and that. I thank GOD that I never label or call names to anyone in this blog as I realized that it never give any benefit to me. If I did, I repent and apologize then. Forgive me please.
It is good if we could respect our differences, respect other peoples’ differences of their views, respect the difference in our belief.
What good does it do for us when we labeled other people or calling names to them?
As such, I call for all to be more mature, to be more open in accepting the fact that not all people have the same belief as we do.
However, if you still prefer to accuse and call names on others, it’s your choice then and as usual, I will accept the fact that you are what you are.
Rgds.

For some people, the history of the world is interesting. Very interesting. The savagery of battles and wars are sprinkled like confetti across the wide historical kaleidoscope of Humankind.
We now see the behaviour of the victors over the defeated in living colour in our own homes which was not possible not too long ago.
In the past, we sensed such incidents might have happened but could not be convinced because of the lack of informative media which has turned the world on its head in milliseconds !
Even the near-forgotten 1948 Batang Kali massacres could be within reach for the curious in seconds.
As we all know, Liberia, was an African state formed from the ex-slaves of the United States and for years, there was a huge rubber plantation owned by an American tyre company to provide employment.
The empire ambitions of the colonialists in the 19th century led to the carve up of this great continent across tribal lines and when the colonialists left, there was a power vacuum which only the strongest groups with arms could control the restless population.
Religion was introduced in an attempt to pacify these disparate tribal groups. This failed as it was not sustainable due to the fragmented nature of the tribal societies and the huge size of the African Continent.
Hence, the likes of President Charles Taylor, and so forth rose to power in these unstable states – the attempts to control a state with the barrel of a gun.
I have always felt that the colonial powers had a lot to be blamed for abandoning all these ex-colonies in a lurch from their hasty retreat without the props of a fine government administration and a sound economy and nurturing the population to stand on their two feet. As a result, we keep having problems from these undeveloped countries today – and now these are facing the next round of economic exploitations like from superior countries e.g. the wanton extraction of their wealth whether mineral or timber resources or whatever that their rulers agree to give away for money.
In the today’s world of human rights, free trade, globalization and democracy, those who support the United Nations have a conscientious role to play in putting the African countries back on the rails to keep them abreast of the other fortunate countries.
But is this a pipe dream ? Or we will have more Presidents like Charles Taylor to stand before the International Criminal Court.
A significant reduction in the armaments or space research Budgets of all countries may contribute to the African Effort. As it is, small dollops of billions of US Dollars will only be a drop in the African ocean.
But the policies of those in power seem to be satisfied in snuffing out small outbreaks of massacres or skirmishes now and then. This is the present African scenario, an unending scenario. The basics of the survival and success of a nation are ignored.
We Malaysian Chinese should think hard and think deep about the political histories of Sri Lanka and some African countries that we have an important role to play in our beloved Malaysia by voting the right way, meaning, only vote for BN.
One day I may expound why there is no difference between the BN and their detractors.
The fracas is only about the tussle for power and money by the BN and the Opposition – the story of the Gemini Twins.
Dear Tun and Chedet bloggers,
I went to the US for the first time in the 70’s as a student, and had lived there at several places long enough to understand the American psyche. Back in the seventies when we in Malaysia were in the state of nation building – roads and bridges to be built, schools and universities and townships etc to be built, they were already saturated with development. When we young people were concerned about contributing to the nation, the Americans were already concentrating on having fun. It was dances and booze, games and parties, girls and dope. They were looking for jobs that fit their personal interest, while we students were filling the country’s needs. So we studied biology and chemistry when we were more interested in literature, because Malaysia then needed more scientists.
They are, even until today, at a different level of mindset. They don’t think like us. So when millions of innocent people were killed by American bombs and bullets in Iraq, Afghanistan, or anywhere the US government feel they should send their soldiers to, people like Madeline Albright would say “ it’s worth it”, and innocent people who died are termed “collateral damage”. They never apologise for the killings they do.
When they had the cold war with Soviet Union, we were on their side. Now that they are the world’s single super power, we don’t have any choice anymore. We used to think all the presidents – from Reagan, Clinton, Bush were mad people who had no heart, no pity, no feeling, and we were happy to have Obama for a change. It was not to be. He turned out to be the same as the others. It’s not just the President, but the whole entire Washington political might, supported by the Christian right and bribed by Jewish money, that decide where the American bombs will fall next.
We should not say all American people are bad, because that’s not true. Many Americans are just like us. I know many who are kind and helpful and are against killings. But they live in a country where Jewish money and influence control everything – the newspapers they read, the banks they borrow money from, the TV stations they watch, and even the Hollywood movies that they and we watch. Even Henry Ford’s book was banned in USA because of some “unpleasant” remarks about the Jews. Marlon Brando even complained about the Jewish control over Hollywood, and even some presidents were unhappy about Jewish control over their government. But they are powerless. Even Obama couldn’t “see it” until after a few months in the oval office.
So when John Cena says he is proud of the US troops who fight in Iraq and Afghanistan “to keep America safe”, no one make any sound on how ridiculous that phrase is. Keep America safe? So all Americans are made to believe, wherever the US troops go to, and even if they kill babies and innocent women and children, that’s to “keep America safe”. They, for all practical purposes, had been brainwashed, to believe that whatever their presidents and the Generals do, that’s “to keep America Safe”, “to safeguard our freedom”, and “so that we can enjoy our liberty, our democracy, our freedom” and “to make the world safe”. This brainwashing is 100% effective.
But the fact of the matter? So that they can control the world supply of oil and gas, supplies of important raw materials, markets for their good, flow of money, and whatever they feel they should get their hands on. And they need “good” people to do this. They had Noriega, Suharto, Marcos, Saddam Hussein, the Shah, and the monarchs and presidents of Arab countries. Unfortunately Taylor of Liberia is worthless, so they let him go to jail for life. If regime change is the only way, then expect that to happen to strongly independent countries like ours. They already planted someone to do their “good job”.
Matthias Chang wrote two very good books about all these. I would strongly recommend them to be read
I DO NOT UNDERSTAND
KNOWING,ACKNOWLEDGE UNITED NATIONS
IS AN INSTRUMENT OF UNITED STATES
WHY ON EARTH SHOULD WE AND MOST COUNTRIES
CONTRIBUTE TO THEM
EVERYONE SHOULD WALK OFF FROM THEM
IT IS PROVEN UNITED NATIONS
DOES NOT JUSTIFIED ITS EXISTANCE
IS,A SAFER NOT TO HAVE UNITED NATION EXISTANCE
THAN IT,S EXISTANCE IS BEING MUNIPULATED
Dearest Tun,
Agreed with what you wrote.
In response, NO, I don’t think UMNO is worse in that sense… BUT Tun..
1. As citizens of this country we can’t change the world. For now at this moment and in the near future, we are concerned about the future of Malaysia.
2. I think UMNO needs to change and it is NOT despite your best efforts during your time. End of discussion.
3. UMNO need to rid of corrupt leaders – so 1st let us admit UMNO is full of corrupt leaders.
4. UMNO and BN is still the best ‘platform’ to lead this nation – but a if we allow a corrupted UMNO to persist then we are not getting a better deal anyway.
5. The Opposition is making headway because of UMNO’s weaknesses in all areas. It is as simple as that.
6. UMNO will win again and will that make them want to change?
7. What is the best way to ‘teach’ a corrupted UMNO? to let them keep on ‘sleeping’ or ‘wake them up’? It seems that many are saying that ‘wake up’ is the potent cure.
In my mind Dato Seri Najib needs more ‘courage’ and ‘bravado’ in transforming UMNO, than you demonstrated during your time Tun.
4.
Askm Tun & fellow bolggers,
Another Tun’s insight that many don’t bother to think about.
” Wise men made their own decision. Ignorant people are mere followers of others ” – Chinese proverb
And we have a lot of the latter among us, even so called intellectuals & religious gurus.
Why is this happening? ‘POLITICS” is the only reason. Therefore, I had a privilege once to attend an international businessmen dinner and at the end of our discussion, we concluded that the world will be a peaceful and prosperous if we can get rid of the politicians. Think about it for those who still have the god-given brain to think.
Therefore let us call for ALL POLITICIANS to remember and remember well that ….. Only Allah SWT, the Creator, the Almighty, Knowledgeable & the Powerful present us the TRUTH and JUSTICE and to Allah SWT we therefore seek protection in this cruel world and happiness Allah’s in paradise.
May Allah SWT bless Tun & all of us with good healthy body & mind.
Dearest YAB Tun,
I am not surprised Tun. In fact to the oppositions Tun is the worst of all, and to them Tun is the most brutal and corrupt leader in the entire universe…and of course to the oppositions no other party in the entire world is worst than UMNO.
And yet Tun can go anywhere without having a convoy of security guards to accompany Tun.
Thanks Tun.
*** May Allah SWT bless Tun and family ***
Point #5:
5. But leaders of powerful countries cannot be arrested and tried…
Why is that so? It is because those leaders get to “appoint” key positions in the enforcement agencies of the so-called world bodies such as the United Nations, which by the way includes the “appointment” of the Secretary General.
The IAEA as an example. Who directs the IAEA to inspect the Iranian nuclear facilities? One reason why the IAEA goes to Iran is because CNN drums up such propaganda about Iran.
The IAEA never inspects Israel. Simply because they were never instructed to go there. And also CNN never drums up propaganda about the Israeli nuclear power.
And this shows how stupid the Iranians and other nations such as Malaysia can be. They are stupid when they allow these leaders using world proxies to do as they please.
Also nations such as Malaysia can be so stupid for signing the NPT. These nations should sign the Non Existent Treaty instead of signing the stupid No Proliferation Treaty.
The Non Existent Treaty would force the abolishment of all nuclear weapons thus creating stability to some degree. But instead they sign to an agreement which forbids them from acquiring what others are having.

Salam Tun dan Semua,
This article was crafted based on comparison of cases of trials worldwide. In one hand, some people tends to make me believe that USA, UK, Israel, etc will be treated equally against all other countries in the world. But it got me thinking, is it seriously?
Only a dead people will believe this. But one thing I can understand is that, what can we do about it? Because when you are might you will always be right.
Might can come in a form of political influence which translated into power, money that can buy almost everything, fearsome warfares, intelligence, brains, etc. Might has also include cunning strategy and dirty politics. You just got to use every little dirty tactics you got to get the ‘power’ to do whatever you desire to do.
In the case of Anwar’s sodomy case, Karpal Singh is indeed a mighty person. He himself knew that Anwar has record of sodomy activity. He said it himself to the Parliament in October 1997. He even said he have all the proofs. That got Mr Mat Sabu to reckon Anwar as ‘Al-Jubri’ that time.
When these three great politician combined their might later on, they have managed to convince the public that Anwar is a saint of God who would never do such an ugly thing. This case was successfully closed and if anyone says anything else will be sued. But they never do the same to the ‘Scorpene’ case. No matter what is the court verdict and all the ‘sumpah laknat’ which, Anwar really knew how serious it would mean for any Muslim.
Anwar have also afford himself his own media for propaganda.
There are also loyalist who would retaliate against anybody who tried to demonise him. All these power combined together will prevent anybody else to demonise them despite the fact that they are consistently demonising everybody else, every insititution even the country itself.
If Anwar says anything bad about anyone in UMNO or even about Malaysia for that matter, it is called the ‘truth’. If anybody says anything about Anwar and PKR even when they have all the proofs, it will be labelled as personality attack, dirty tactics and will be condemned. If he broke the law and you arrest him, you will be perceived as using your power to kill his political career.
Anwar is indeed a powerful guy ‘dulu, kini dan selamanya’. He is as powerful as Kerajaan Malaysia combined together. But the question is, is he equal before the law like everybody else in Malaysia. The same question will goes like, is Malaysia being treated equally with the West?
I say we just stop talking nonsense for a while….
Dear Tun,
The predator operated by CIA who are non-combatant is a crime according to some journalist. Kill civilian acceptable, then Abdul Hamid Kaldai wayang to be angry just like the Paki politicians. Maybe munafik?
Being an outsider I do not to claim to know much about UMNO. But everyone in them must do their utmost for their community rather then self. Look at China, everyman for himself like Bo Xi, every village head wants to be king! End result – Jahanam semuanya.
Even the Greatest king that ever lived, whose kingdom includes our world, the animal kingdom and the spirit world, Nabi Sulaiman A.S. (King Solomon) died holding a staff while his subjects proceeded to build under his watch. It took the humble termites to gnaw at the staff to break it allowing the king to fall whereby then his subjects knew about his passing on this world. (correct me if i am wrong) We are nobody, therefore strive for the betterment of the community.
The time has arrived. Recently Egyptians were told to disregard the newly elected president in favor of a new leader , King Abdullah of Jordan until the arrival of the Imam.
Until the arrival of the Imam I suppose Malays in Malaysia, should wake-up. If you do not want to loose “MALAYSIA”.
Also Tun Perhaps you might have the resource about certain truth that i am unable to find or does not makes sense to me.
What is the racial composition of Singapore in the 50s, 60s and 70s. I was too young to know from that time but i think the population percentages were different from what i found on the internet. Remember Singapore’s National language is Malay and not English,Mandarin,Malay and Tamil.

Hope Umno cleanup its act and Melayu tidak disingkir atau tersingkir di tanahair sendiri.
Assalamualaikum Tun,
I like your phrase “Do as I told you, but don’t do as I do”.
Another phrase that aptly describe the US is “Believe in what I say, but no in what I do”. Now, the US Secretary of Defense is touring asian countries to find potential bases for its navy and army. Among the potential bases are in Singapore, Vietnam and Vietnam. He is also keen to make have military cooperation with India and Malaysia. Japan, Korea and Australia already have US military bases. Clearly the US is putting in all the necessary pieces like in a chess game in Asia. With all this military presence in Asia, whom is the US targeting? Unless someone is totally blind, everyone knows it is aimed at China. Of course the US deny this, saying it is to stabalise the region.
One thing China can take comfort is, based on Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan wars, the US will not attack a country if it strong. Based on previous wars, the US will first apply economic sanctions so as to weaken the target country. Once the country is weaken economically, will the country be attacked. It seems two of the most powerful nations on earth, the US and China, both nuclear armed, have started the ball rolling in Asia. We will see the US continually try to win as many Asian countries to its side in times to come. China must stop this from happening.
For smaller asian countries, in this times of conflict, the best way is to stay united.
This is where ASEAN role is important. Individually we are weak against the US advances to Asia, but united we are a force to be reckoned with. The US will also be afraid of ASEAN, fearing if it bullies ASEAN members too much into joining the US, then ASEAN might side with China. China must assist Asian countries to counter the US from being bullied into joining the US.
I may not know much but foreign relationship affairs, but if a war do erupt between China and the US, it will be in Asian ground that will be shed with blood and tears. Worst, possible radioactive contamination if it turns into a nuclear war. On the other hand, Obama and the US people are happy in there cosy homes in the US watching American Idol.
If I had my way, I would tell the US to get the hell out of Asia.
Good evening,
If saudara Anwar were to become the PM of Malaysia we would be greeted with cheaper petrol for a period of time. Then he would give free education for all till university level. After that we would be give another RM500 or maybe RM1,000.00 per family. On top of all that he might just abolish personal income tax for those earning RM3,000.00 per month.
After approximately 6 months, Malaysia would be in the same S*** as Greece!
Ponder on this for a while my fellow Malaysians.
We must use our wisdom when voting for our leaders. Between the devil that we know rather than the *angel* that we think they are what would your head tell you to do?
Nobody’s pure in this world anymore.
Just do the needful and chose the less corrupt ones.
Thank you.
The very question United Nations should focus
Is Who, Why produce weapons and sell weapons throughtout
The World and Do We need more weapons, stronger weapons
To bring down these existing weapons
Or United Nations to bring down all these weapons
Human Behavoir when one has weapons the first instinct is to use these weapons,So weapons are not meant for peace
Weapons meant to destroy
No Men when have weapons their mind will be at Peace
These Billions of Metals, can be put to good use
For the Civilzations of Mankind
If they really need to fight
Let United Nation prepare a Battle Ground
Let them register to United Nations to Fight
Let them fight
Eye to eye
Men to men
As to satisfy their Lust
Leave the civilians and the innocents alone
Our Mother Nature at Peace
Nations that produce, and sell weapons
Is The Mother Of All Evils
They need a bigger guns
Then someone later will have a much bigger guns
So where does it leads to
Doomsday ?
Salam Tun
//5. But leaders of powerful countries cannot be arrested and tried, not even when their war crimes are much worse.//
1-This is what I meant by power being the obstacle to achieving justice. This is nothing new it had been this way since time immemorial.
2-And there is nothing we can do either. Not that we are being negative but there is really nothing we can do.This is that time we must say “from God we come to God we shall return”.
3-In fact we are only being positive by diverting our minds from all these injustices to something else so that we can remain happy.life is too short to let ourselves feel miserable over something we can do nothing about.
4-Trying to pretend that we can do something about it when we actually can’t will be unwise. We should never provoke unjust people who think that might is right. What if they feel offended and turn their fury on us?
5-The Roman Caesars have been ruthless and unjust with their powers so too were the Pharoahs , the Maharajas and the emperors of China.Closer to home was there justice in Sultanate of Malacca during Sultan Mahmud Shah?
6-But nothing last forever .All evil rule will be ended eventually to be replaced by kinder people for a while before evil takes over again, and the cycle goes on and on until kingdom comes.
Trust me this ‘ evil’ rule will come to an end,it is a promise.
7-Of course UMNO is not that bad..If it is that bad Anwar can’t be so free and powerful today. If it is we can just change it this PRU13.
8-The only fault of UMNO is that it has lost touch with the grassroots.Their leaders today are not like the leaders of yesterday. While former leaders like Tun have actually been on the ground and suffered like any of us, their sons on the other hand have only been surrounded by sychophants all their lives so they hardly know the reality on the ground.
9-Their insensitivies to what the rakyat thinks had been fully exploited by their enemies who are closer to the rakyat.
10-At the same time they still think the rakyat today are still the same people who voted their fathers into office.People who would believe everything the mainstream media say as the gospel truth.
11-No Tun, UMNO is not that bad.But not that good either, that’s all.It could be improved, like most things in this world.
12-Najib looks more innocent than Anwar. But of course looks can be deceiving but the impression can be fully exploited for it matters.Exploit also Anwar non denial that the face is his..he only denied the stomach is his.One more thing,Najib should really try to hide Rosmah somewhere until after the election…
13-Anyway kalau UMNO kalah pun its not the end of the World.Sometimes you need to taste failure to be even more successful in future.Important thing is that you never quit.Betul tak?
14-So don’t worry be happy,Tun.
Thanks Tun
“The leaders of powerful countries have starved little new-born
babies, deprived them of medicine, and exposed them to depleted
uranium until half-a-million of them died in Iraq.”
– I want to see these leaders go to trial x100
After leaving the World to unrest
After igniting War that affects
The middle east,Europe economy
Bush, Blair, Rumsfeld,Cheney
Hiding quiet at their homes
As if they are not the cause of it
As if they are innocents
It be good to sent these 4 Setan
To Iraq, Libya, Syria,Afganistan,Pakistan
These Nations loves them and are awaiting for them a peaceful missionary.
Americans Bullshit
They are much afraid of Soviet,China,North Korea
US cannot fight their own War
Dear Tun,
Thanks for another good insight. Its clearly shows how deep your thought is being someone who against a double standard practice whether in local or international scene.
It prove to me that, you are fully understood a true teaching of Islamic law, which propagate a fair trial against anyone, regardless of his/her skin colour, religion, race, political view etc.
Assalamualaikum Tun,
1) You are really one of a kind leader that I really admire.
2) I feel sad when I am thinking about the future of my country if PR wins the election. If PR wins the election, my country will be ruled by a leader (or leaders)
a) who hates malay and islam
b) who is the alliance of the powerful nations that also hate Islam
c) who carries the Islamic image and principle from head to toe but at the same time can’t do anything useful since (a) and (b) are so powerful and dominant
3) I am amazed with the people who easily being fooled by the politicians. I don’t understand how can the people who fight for the freedom of the Palestinian are supporting Anwar who gets all the support from THE powerful country in the west.
Thank you Tun.
Best Wishes,
Nadiana
Dear Tun,
Yes, UMNO is much worse and utterly corrupted says Anwar Ibrahim, juks, donplaypuks, dtan, MiddleAges, Joshua Lopez, Hidden Secret, C.H.Liew. They are the hard core incorrigible anti UMNO, anti Muslims group who would vote Pakatan Rakyat (evil collusion of PKR, PAS and DAP to brainwash the gullible voters). Strange bed fellows indeed, the most unlikely collusion in the history of mankind in the form of former arch enemies, Anwar Ibrahim was former Deputy UMNO President, Karpal Singh, Chairman of DAP who declares should PAS wants to set up an islamic state, it has to be over his dead body and PAS, the islamic party of Malaysia. PAS recently has made many adjustments to accommodate Karpal Singh who is a fierce non muslim ‘JIHADIST’, that, it is not interested in the struggle of islamic state any more. They are aiming for welfare state like Britain. They would not push for Hukum Hudud, but prefer its office bearers to be federal ministers sharing power with Karpal Singh and Anwar Ibrahim. PAS has become political murtad. Each and every one of them has been day dreaming like Mat Jenin to live the life of a federal Minister with the siren of police outriders and other perks and trapping of power and authority. The supporters are made to believe that are righteous, saintly and freedom fighters. All the above who are regular commenters in this blog fail to realise that it is absolutely due to the ambition of only one person, Anwar Ibrahim to be the Prime Minister of Malaysia, by hook or by crook. All of us are the pawns of his very personal game.
