1. President Barack Obama of the greatest and most powerful nation in the world slipped secretly into Afghanistan in the darkness of the night. Hardly a triumphant entry for a conqueror. The world only got to know it after the event (read here).
2. And why was the great leader there? It is to find ways of getting out of a country which the US had spent a trillion dollars to conquer.
3. After killing a few thousands of America’s youths not to mention maybe a hundred thousand Afghanistans to rid Afghanistan of the Taliban and to bring about democracy, the US finds itself accepting a possible Taliban coalition with the Karzai Government. I suspect it is not going to be very democratic.
5. So far the most powerful countries have lost to the poor, unsophisticated fighters of the very weak in Korea, Vietnam, Somalia, Iraq and Afghanistan. The only place where they have won is in the Caribbean Island of Grenada.
6. Those trillions of dollars spent on research, development and productions of ever more effective murder weapons will prove to be a waste. In the end to claim the rights of the victor you have to be on the ground. And on the ground the people of the defeated countries will use primitive hand guns and home made bombs to kill the victors, within their countries and everywhere else. Like Obama, the victorious leaders will have to slink about in the darkness of the night, frightened by the hatred of those they had terrorized, despite the massive security personnel around them.
7. The victory would be meaningless.
8. When will the great powers learn that their overwhelming military power will avail them of nothing in this modern age.
9. When will they realise that war, the killing of innocent people is futile.

I did some homework, and found that, as per point 4, as it was the custom to place a sign stating the crucified’s offense on the cross in Latin, Greek, and Hebrew, so, depending on whom you refer to, they will base their “eye-witness’ account” on either Latin, Greek and Hebrew.
I would say, different sources of of different background (Latin, Greek, Hebrew), all describing the same event with such high accuracy.
It shows to me how credible it is that the event two thousand years ago has indeed taken place.
If someone refute that event many hundreds of years later, in his own language, then, what can I say.

I don’t think there is any fight between the REAL Christ’s followers with the Muslims.. because by following Christ’s teachings in the New Testament, they could not have possibly made enemies with anyone. Even if they do make enemies, they are supposed to love their enemies as commanded by Jesus.
Without any hatred towards the Muslims in the first place, what is there to reconcile?
I am just a layman. Christ may have revealed more detail to people close to Him, like dtan, than to the general public who may not have enough knowledge to handle the truth.
But I do find this keyword “transfiguration” helpful in explaining the question you are asking.

I forgot mention one very important point in my last message, regarding the person whose creatinine tests showed that he was healed after his prayer and repentance.
In his prayer, he mentioned that if G-d willing, that if he got healed, he would spend the rest of his life serving G-d.
This reminds me of the following which I learned at around the same time (only if you would allow me to quote without infringing on the law):

Speaking of sins, perhaps Tun will find the following thought provoking.
I have heard from a person who suffered from kidneys failure, and needed dialysis. The doctor said he had no chance of surviving except to undergo a transplant operation.
Out of desperation, he went to a 24-hr prayer session. During the session he was praying and crying for help from G-d.
Then, with the support of the other elders, praying earnestly, suddenly flashback occurred to him.
The scenes he saw were those sinful acts that he performed since his early childhood (like stealing other people’s rambutan, cigarettes) till the very recent act. It seemed that G-d showed him and guided him along to repent, in the name of *
He repented as flashback continued, till the very last scene.
The next day, he went to the hospital, and the doctor told him he was totally healed, and no longer needed to undergo the operation anymore.
He went for a second opinion in Subang Jaya, another doctor confirmed his recovery too.

Per 4: The canonization of the New Testament was compiled by multiple scriptural text on the accounts by Jesus’s disciples. If it was copied i.e. exact wording then the argument could be made that the disciples plagiarized from each other. This I accept, for sure, agreed there variations or inconsistencies (New & Old) for the Zakir Nairs and Dedaads of the world to throw ‘Red Herrings’. It diverts attention away from Jesus and who he is. It depends on what you consider as a benchmark. If I made a chair. What would I consider to be an except-able benchmark. Made of wood, 4 legs & a Back rest? If that’s the case. Is a bench, couch or stool not a chair or variations of a chair? I did make a ‘Six Sigma’ case against the Quran a while back simply to prove that you can make a case against anything. Not to prove that the Quran was wrong. I believe people who are inspired by the Quran will continue to be inspired by the Quran but it does not change what Jesus said or did despite many attempts to obfuscate the Bible.
Per 5: Well, apply Occam’s Razor methodology as I suggested at the end of my last message. 1 person, 1 prayer (Eg. Who are you Jesus?) and 1 answer from God. Complexity is not a requirement to know Jesus.

I was also thinking why G-d ignored Jesus, and I prayed for an answer. Nong later, I got the answer from someone whom I never asked. He told that at that time on the cross, Jesus was bearing the sins of the whole world, even including the sins of the unborn.. so “sinful” that G-d could not help him, until..
(sorry, I could not elaborate more, especially what happen the third day after that Friday, as I have to observe the law of this land)
I am not as great as one of those early believers in Rome, who were willing to be burnt alive, than to renounce their faith and escape the flame. And to be fed to the lions in the Colloseum.
That kind of faith had touched many people, and the whole city started believe, until even the emperor himself started to realize.
Also, I am not as great as the early deciples of Jesus.. who were willing to die for their faith.
They did not return to their old professions (fishing etc) after Jesus’ departure, but rather, followed the painful path of spreading the good news everywhere they went to. Many were captured and sentenced to death.
Had they not seen the extraodinary things while Jesus was still with them and not long after Jesus had been sentenced, surely they would have returned to where they came from, since their Teacher, Jesus had already gone anyway.
But they didn’t.. Something must have happened which had convinced them about their faith.

They are only meant to explain things related to them, that they think others might have misunderstood them.
To clarify misunderstanding is what we need to to live in this planet peacefully, and not to force our believes onto others.

In my opinion,
Not only G-d made Adam, but all other materials in the world.
I believe you also think the same.
But according to certain source, there is this “Word” which has been with G-d from “alpha” to “omega” (from infinite beginning to infinite end).
As for the reason why G-d participated in the birth of Jesus in a way that, G-d let the other half of Jesus parent be a human being, instead of creating Jesus straight out of a template just like in the case of Adam, is worth pondering.
But I am only a layman.. perhaps those who study theology in that field are more qualified to point out to you. But due to certain restriction found in this country (which i also not very familiar of).. I guess you will never know their findings and understainding by way of two-way discussions in Tun’s blog.
I just wish to point out that, there must be a reason.
If “thing” created by G-d, sacrificed to redeem us, it would surely be futile.
On the other hand, if the other half is from “Word” then it will be according to G-d’s plan, as understood by this group of people who endeavor to understand G-d’s plan according to their bible.

Successor? What successor? I don’t think “Son of G-d” means “Successor of G-d”. G-d is of course eternal. So, how to succeed Who is eternal?
For the Christians, I belive, It is of utmost importance for the sequence of “in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit” mentioned in prayers, to be strictly followed “in order”.
They never permute them.. such as, saying the “Son” in front of the “Father”..
I happened to know an elder who used Jesus name to heal, and he had specifically reminded us about the importance of having the “Father” first, then “Son”, followed by “Holy Spirit”.
Hope this helps clarify some of your doubts..

I guess St Paul must have mentioned “Jesus” name, to serve as a “bridge”, between him and G-d the Father, so that his prayer could reach G-d.. if he didn’t quote Jesus, who he belived serving as a bridge, the message may end up in “someone”.

1-Further to my earlier comments to ekompute on the preemptive initiative of the Prophet I have quoted the Bible Isaiah 21 to have prophesied about a people who were fugitives from persecution who would later succeed in ending the glory of the persecutors.If this prophecy ‘concerning Arabia’ is not about the conquest of Mecca then it has not been fulfilled until today.
2-Now what is interesting to note here is the number of the soldiers involved in this triumphant entrance into Mecca, a total of 10,000.This is the number recorded,accepted and recognized in history.So for those of you who find it difficult to swallow that the Bible actually was prophesizing about this triumphant entrance of the Prophet into Mecca please now refer to this other prophecy in the Bible.
3-Please check the revised edition 1901 Deuteronomy 33:2 ‘the Lord came from Sinai and dawned from Seir upon us;he shone forth from Mount Paran he came from the ten thousand of the holy ones with flaming fire at his right hand.’Flaming fire from his right hand merely means he will issue powerful laws over the people.That is what the Prophet did from Mecca after he has entered with the 10,000 of the holy ones.If it is not about the Prophet then again this prophecy after 3,000 years have not yet been fulfilled until today.
4-The Christians claim that this is one of the Prophecies about Jesus.May be he would do all these in his second coming.The Jews on the other hand is still waiting for the fulfillment of the Prophecy until today.To the Jews that great Prophet foretold must only be a Jew.Although Jesus was a Jew the Jews didn’t see him fulfilling all these prophecies in his lifetime.The Jews reject Jesus totally. Since they do not buy this immaculate conception idea,Jesus was just someone born out of wedlock to them.
5-The Muslims accept Jesus as one born miraculously without a father just quite like Adam who was born without both mother and father.If the Christians could be convinced by the Muslims,which is unlikely,to accept that God Almighty being eternal requires no successor,the Muslims and Christians could be reconciled.
6-The Jews and the Muslims are also actually one if only they could accept ‘that Prophet’ to be a non Jew.They both believe in a one absolute God.They share many of the Prophets .Their male must be circumcised.They do not eat pork ( swine) for it is considered unclean as commanded by God in the Bible Old Testament; Deuteronomy 14;8 and Leviticus 11;7.

Every time the President of USA visited Iraq or Afghanistan, no one would know until he has landed in the country. Same goes to President Bush last time. For security reason I guess.
But it shows that they are scared of their own doing by killing innocent people of Iraq and Afghanistan. Let God deal with them all.
But talking about war, it has been more than 60 years since the WW2 and yet country like American, Australia and Britain want to go into that part of history again. They want to conquer as much as they can to pursue their dream and become super power of the world. Yet they never learn from their lesson given by the Vietnamese and Iraqis.
I am totally against war under any circumstances because it is not relevant in today’s world anymore. We have the brain and we can discuss properly and try to work things out accordingly. People are smarter now and nobody would like to see bloodshed around them and innocent people being killed.
The most sad part is that the reason behind the war is nothing real. They made it up to fool people of the world to justify their reasoning on going into Iraq and Afghanistan. And yet people believe them.
On the other hand, war is something important to the people of those time. The time of Prophet for example. He was called to go to war not by his choice but because of the situation forcing him to. In fact, in Islam, we have rules and regulations regarding war. We cannot simply go into war and claim it to be in the name of God. God does not like human taking another human’s life. Unless the person is attacking you first or self-defense.
Maybe we all should read the Koran about war because it has many stories about how prophet handle it and treat their enemy.

The Arabs then would not have a chance later to achieve a Golden Age that would later influence all its once mightier neighbors like Egypt,Mesopotamia and Persia.
5-In all the wars you will find that the Prophet was only seeking to minimise casualties on both sides.Mecca was not a potential threat.It was a real threat.Otherwise all the wars between Mecca and Medina would not have taken place.In the treaty of Hudaibiyah the Muslims were even willing to accept the unfair terms as long as they could secure peace.And of course during this time of peace the Prophet was wise enough to strengthen the army so that they would be able to ward off future threat to devote their time and energy for the real mission God had sent them,that is to spread the message of Islam.
6-The preemptive attack on Mecca was only done when the Meccan had violated the treaty of Hudaibiyah.But this preemtive attack was the most awesome and least violent one in history.The prophet with his 10,000 strong force invaded Mecca without a fight after successfully confusing the Meccans.Only 4-8 people were executed after they have refused to repent for their sins against the Muslims while all the rest were given a general amnesty.
7-All the staunch enemies of Islam starting with Abu Sufyan eventually accepted Islam.The original mission of the Prophet to convert Mecca has eventually been accomplished.Once this centre of the Arab civilization has been converted,it was then just a matter of time before the whole of the Arabian Peninsular,lock stock and barrel came into the bond of this Islamic brotherhood.

There are many resolutions and wishes for the new year 2011. However, I wish that Malaysians can start with 3 simple matters;
1) Improve cooperation – 1Malaysia is a good start.
2) Improve prosperity – There are many poor Malaysians especially in rural areas.
3) Improve governance – Be it a home as a family unit, state level whether Barisan State Government or Opposition and National level.
Well enough said about Malaysia. It is still a warm and peaceful country which attracts people from the south like myself to it every holidays.
Going back to the issue of war issue brought up earlier. Apparently, American military commanders still assume they have the best military in the world and they can conquer and defeat any opposing force. Thus, it shows clearly in their arrogant stance in wanting to liberate Iraq, then Afghanistan, Iran next ??, Malaysia perhaps on the waiting list of countries to be invaded God knows what is inside the mind of the military commanders of USA.
Don’t those well trained and schooled military commanders learn their art of war properly. The best victory of war is NO WAR. Well we have seen great ancient empires like the Romans,Mongols, Mughal, Han, Qing, Song etc after conquering masses of land crumbled at the expense of prolong war. We have seen that as American economy had crumbled and mind you people are living in the streets in USA not Malaysia.
Thus I urge all Malaysians, please read up history of ancient empires and learn from their history. Not you being a subject of history lesson.

You have to understand that the Prophet was hounded out of Mecca when his uncle Abu Talib died. The Quraish of Mecca wanted to kill him for spreading Islam in Mecca. He had to escape from Mecca under cover of darkness and had to take detour to escape from the marauding Quraish. With this kind of background, the Quraish of Mecca were the aggressors. At the Battle of Badr, the Muslims took the initiative to intercept the Caravan of the Quraish as these people were persecuting the Muslims in Mecca even though the Prophet had left for Medinah. These enemies of Islam cannot be left alone because they wanted to destroy Islam and Muslims. Don’t you think that is self defence?
But the Prophet never sought to destroy these people. He only wanted to convert them. Those who refused to be converted were left alone like the jews of Medinah. Eventually when the jews colluded with the enemy of Islam, the invading Quraish of Mecca at the Battle of Khandak, then they were told to leave Medinah. Don’t you think that is reasonable?
In the end, almost all the great enemies of the Prophet in Mecca converted to Islam except Abu Jahal who was killed at the Battle of Badr. Those are the historical facts. You can check it out.

4-This is the only industry that the Americans are still the key player and competition is not so great.In most other sectors they are no longer respected.In carmaking American cars are only trying to make a comeback.In electronics even the Americans are going Japanese or maybe Korean these days.Only in this big war industry,a company like Harliburton,also a big supplier in the industry is still formidable.
5-So whether the Americans will be embarassed or not that they will be defeated on the ground through these guerilla warfares the Arms makers as proffesional people don’t give a hoot.All that is important is that the war must go on as long as it takes.The longer the war the more weapons they can supply and that is a lot of money for them to make.Its good for America anyway.
6-Afterall the wars are always done away,on foreign ground.And with all these destructive missiles they have tested on the Afghans,Iraqis etc. they may now have the necessary experience to fight the comets heading our way as difefu has warned us.They can actually help save the world!

Most of the facts on what the US is doiing to force its hold on other countries, are already known, Tun. The questiion is: what can we do about it? How can we stop the bully? It’s so powerful and it has most of the developed and rich developing nations ( the oil-rich countries) under its thumb.
One possible approach is to flood the US with students from all over the world – maybe increase the number by three or four fold. Jointly they can initiate or join protest movements condemming some of the US foreigm policies.
Student movements can be ifluenced to represent our interests and influential student leaders overseas shoul be financially supported by thei governments including Malaysia, to undertake the task.
Next, keep the US government busy on home and domestic issues with adequate security problems to keep the US military’ s hamd fully occupied. Existing threats and natural calamities can be highlighted to ensure thar Americans focus their attention on domestic matters.
Finally, US ambassies oversea should be fed with so much information by the government that there is no opportunity for other parties to give distorted information to suit their own interest. It’s always a lack of iniformation which allows distorted information to creep in.
That should be enough for a start. i think these efforts would be better than trying make the US listen to empty curses and threats.

But if I could offer a bit of advice, perhaps the government can help the land owners to build high rise condo / apartment / flat and rent the condo / apartment / flat to the KL people, the congestion in the city will be greatly reduced.
Because, the office workers will no longer need to commute between the CBD and the outskirt day in and day out.

I totally agree with Tun on the futility of war. Wars have been fought over such abstract things as ideological differences, not to mention wealth and even spices. Alexander the so-called Great spend almost all his life fighting and what happened in the end? His empire died with him.
But one thing I never manage to grasp is why the Prophet also had to engage in wars and pre-emptive strikes. In self-defence, one has no choice and cannot be considered a willing participant, but pre-emptive strikes belong to a different kettle of fish altogether. Everyone is a potential enemy and if that is sufficient reason to start a war, then we can safely say that war is a necessity.

Despite historic knowledge at the effects of war. Just like the Vietnam war which is a unique war with much lessons to be learned. The great powers still think that modern warfare will have positive results. They do not. Especially when conflict arise in our time where there is possibility of a nuclear war.
Their defense budget seems to be always larger that for budgets that actually do count like education, health care and retirement programs and many more that could benefit (they could spend it on poor nations to help them, maybe develop sustainable clear water supply). They should also call it attack budget since all the weapons they spend it on seems to be designed for one purpose only to eliminate human life.

Untuk ape dihidupkan democracy dengan membunuh bagitu ramai manusia termasuk kanak kanak yang tidak bserasah dengan hanye menyatakan in beraku sebagai ‘justified coleteral’ atau something like that. The american has a lot of blood on their dirty hands and this is not only to be borned by the US government, but also by the american people who voted the cruel regime to power. Barrack Obamma has been given the opportunity to remedy the atrocity committed by the previous regime, and if he fail to do so he is also accountable to god, if he bilieve if there is god. Uptill now he has not been able to deliver anything simply because of his colour, the american white is not going to allow that to happen and they have their watchdog in the pentagon to ensure that it does not happen.
Tun, back to the issue that you have highlighted, there will come a time, in order to ensure that they achive victory in some of their crusade, and especially in the contack oh Iran and North Korea a country that have the capicity to develop necluar weapon, a mad president or power crazy general will deploy the usage of the ultimate weapon and i believe the possibility is there. And assessing the game played by their secret services and their capabilty to built up disinformation to justify and to give the justification to use the weapon, as clearly proven in their campaign against Iraq that led to the using of tradinional missiles again the defenceless country. They might get their hands burn if they use the same tactic against North Korea or Iran for that matter, but then it will to the detriment of mankind if they do that.However if ego and the need to achive victory to prove to the world how powerful they are, this can happen So Tun, thats how close we are now for the world to be embroiled in a necluer war which as you know, there will be no victory to any particular side but will be the distraction of the universe as a whole.
Some might say that my commet is a bit naive, but then again look at what is happening in the world today, promise have never been kept, instead of withdrawing the war in afghanistan is escalating, the killing in all these area of turmoil, i.e palestine, iraq, african states, south/north korea is still very high and there is no sign of resolving. So Tun, its a trouble world and its all due to one reason a superpower trying to impose their brand of decracy on to others and are prepared to kill for it. There are others involve coining the words of Bush, the …. of evil and the countiees are England, Australia, europe etc.
So Tun in order to stop the strategic onslaught of these powerful nation against the weaker nation who does not conform to their ideology, the third world countries should unite especially the OIC and asian nations, in order to correct the imbalance that is prevailing now. In order to achieve this, in my humble opinion OIC countries will have to dismantle the hold the US have on all the OIC and Arab states. Until this can be achieve, the possibility of uniting the OIC and the Arab states is very slim.But if this can be done, with the Russian and the Chinese nation in play the whole ball game might change.
I was interested in your comment on using the dinar as oppose to other monetary system, if the arabs withdraw all their assets in US and convert tp dinar, the US economy might collapse overnght, but alas as i have said earlier, the hold the US have on the OIC State have to be broken first. The UN, assisted by the US, should spend more research money on developing certain kind of methods, which do no harm to human lives, merely make them sleep, faint.
Then, base on the intelligence gathered, just remove the identified fainted negative elements away from among the sleeping crowd, and make sure that the whole process is transparent (video taped or even broadcast live to the participating UN members) and when these elements are awake, find out from them what are really want, what their plights are, and if necessary, reform them in a UN reformation prison / camp, and after they have been reformed, just release them.
War without death, and transparency are the keys to avoid suffering and future lawsuits from these reformed “victims”.
There is a world power which with earlier global navigational triumphs and access to gunpowder technology chose not to go beyond it’s borders and also chose to develop fire crackers instead of arms – China!
