1. Tony Blair, the disgraced ex- Prime Minister of Britain, who was recently paid RM 1 million by “Malaysian achievers” to personably teach them how to achieve, says that Israel has a right to defend itself, when commenting on the killing of Turkish volunteers on the Mavi Marmara.
2. This is to be expected of a British Prime Minister who lied so he could send the British forces to kill Iraqis. Killing innocent people is to have almost a pastime. That the Turkish volunteers were on a mercy mission to bring food, medicine and building material to the Palestinian in Gaza; that Turkey is not at war with Israel, that they were unarmed mean nothing to Tony Blair.
3. Just as he feels justified telling lies so he could war against Iraq, shooting and killing aid workers is to him part of defending a country.
4. The achievers in Malaysia must have learnt a lot about how to achieve by lying and by killing innocent people. The one million Ringgit (200,00 Pound) they paid him is well spent.

The issue of the Israel commando raiding the Mavi Marmara flotilla is so obvious and clearcut that I don’t know how the Israelites and Benjamin Netanyahu can get away trying to lie about it. And they try to lie not only to a few people but the whole world, and still they succeed! The facts (according to our people on board) are that :-
1. The Israel commandos came down from their helicopters on ropes to ilegally board the Mavi Marmara 34km from the shores of Gaza which is internationally accepted as international waters (not yet Israeli territory) so they illegally boarded Mavi Marmara.
2. Benjamin Netanyahu said that their commandos coming down the ropes to board Mavi Marmara were met with a hostile crowd and receiption. This may be true but the activists only used sticks, hose and water and even so, they prevented unauthorised intrusion on to their ship which was still in international waters.
If we are trying to pursue this legally, why can’t we stress the points that :-
1. Firstly, the actions of the Israel commandos are illegal as it was done in international waters.
2. What about the 9 Turkish nationals that were shot dead ? Are the murderers ever going to get tried ?
I read the Star yesterday and unbelievably enough, Obama keeps on stressing that their “friendship” with Israel is still intact and that US will defend Israel as it believes Israel has a right to defend itself against its (hostile) Arabic neighbours. My question is : is the US willing to do this even after knowing the fact that the Israel boarded Mavi Marmara in international waters and after murdering 9 Turkish nationals who did not pose as threats ?
The sad fact is that when the world finally decides to unite to confront the “small” country of Israel with its 1 or 2 million people, unfortunately there will be about 5 or 6 gigantic US aircraft carriers waiting at the Gulf Straits armed with its Tomcats and F-15s. The strength of Israel comes from the US. The world must first disarm the US after which it can easily beat Israel.

I’m very sad with what has happened to humanitarian flotilla to Gaza. Tony B – what can I say,,,,obviously he and G.W. Bush are the most dangerous terrorist in the world during they were in power.
In the name to defend own country, do any country in this world is justified to kill others in the international water especially to the humanitarian mission????

deification of the West has not entirely disappeared from our midst though we’ve been independent for more than half a century.
Western scholars and ex-statesmen or political leaders are still venerated in spite of the skeletons hidden in their closet. One probable reason is that few of our own leaders or ex-leaders can be considered to have risen to the the level of an international speaker. Unlike yourself many can only grace an international podium while in office. After that no one wants to listen to them.
The question is why. Why do we fail to produce international speakers like the Indians, the Philippinos and even the Thais? One reason could be that few of our politicians are scholars with a wide breadth of knowledge. Even listening to some speaking in Parliament make us feel letdown. The standard of English used leaves much to be desired, not in terms of pronunciation and articulation but in terms of vocabulary and conceptualization. I feel that even some of the Bahasa used is substandard, some sounding like a schoolboy reading in class. Sorry to say this but we have to say it out because sarcasm and cynicism don’t seem to have any effect sometimes.
Maybe our Parliamentarians should also attend some advanced English and Bahasa classes.

I read with much surprise and disgust some of the comments posted here.
But I guess that’s what freedom of speech is all about.
Allow me to remind friends out there about the international law, particularly on controling a ship in international waters by force a.k.a HIJACKING.
Article 3 of the Rome Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts against the Safety of Maritime Navigation of 1988 states that it is an international crime for any person to seize or exercise control over a ship by force, and also a crime to injure or kill any person in the process.
So the act by the Israeli Defence Forces in controlling the aid ships like Mavi Marmara by force is in a nutshell committing the act of hijacking a ship. An act that is no different from what the Somali pirates are doing or the Lanuns in selat melaka.
Actually the IDF’s action is worse.
So the counter argument of the Israeli of self defence does not apply.
Self defence is a defence only available to the victim on the boat not the aggressor who attacked with their war machines.. unless of course one is arguing that sailing in international waters is an unlawful act.
A special mention to the “high achievers” – I hope that they can sleep well at night knowing that they have paid a War Criminal for his opinions and well thought out advice.

Previously, Turkey who had good relation with Israel, was the moderator between the two opposing groups. Now Turkey openly is not happy with Israel.
2-One of the participants in the tele-discussion, is a Malay professor from UKM. He beleive, since Blair is against waht Israel is doing to the floatilla, Blair is one of the appropriate person to be the mediator.

1. Israel already said there is sea blockage and no ship will be allowed, until the dispute in Gaza and with Hamas is resolved. Mavi Marmara just ignored and challenge Israel forces, if you were Israel PM you also will instruct to attack. The Israel force used this to eliminate some of their long standing enemy.
2. Today Mavi Maramara will bring humanitarian aids… Tomorrow Hamas will bring in missile to attack Israel, for which Israel will send missile back to Gaza and close boarders… The people of Gaza will surfer again.
3. I remember reading Readers Digest (issue 2009), that one Gaza mother took her 8-years old girl to Tel-Avie for FREE open heart surgery, because her automotive-electrician husband could not afford one in Gaza. From this article what I note is that the actual situation is Gaza is not what been projected by our main-stream media. Yes there is suffering and help is needed, but not as bad as other countries.
