1. In the aftermath of the bombing of Doha killing six people, Netanyahu warned “that any country that harbours terrorists like Hamas should expel them or else Israel will take action”.
2. If the bombing of Doha is any indicator, the Israeli action would consist of bombing and rocketing.
3. Now the Muslim countries may, without their knowing it be harboring Hamas people or refugees, whom the Israelis identify as terrorists.
4. Israel may bomb that country claiming to kill terrorists so Arab countries face this kind of possibility. The world including the USA will condemn Israel but the US supports targeting Hamas.
5. Nothing can happen to Israel because basically the US approves.

1. I am sick of hearing the declaration that Israel has a right to defend (secure) itself.
2. Don’t others have the same right to secure themselves. Don’t the Gaza Palestinians have a right to defend themselves.
3. You may ask what is the insecurity of the Palestinians? There have been and there are numerous assaults against Palestinian security.
4. Firstly Palestinian land has been seized to create Israel. There was no plebiscite or referendum to determine whether the Palestinians agree or not to their land being given to the Jews to set up Israel.
5. Then the Israelis expelled the Palestinians from their land. No compensation was paid. And no return was allowed.
6. Israel then built settlement on Palestinian land. This is another seizure of Palestinian land. Then Israel seized Jerusalem, an international area. Israeli soldiers entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque and killed Arabs who were praying.
7. All the time Israel arrested and detain without trial thousands of Palestinians. The detention was not for any specific time. Many detainees had died in custody. There was no way to free them. The families suffer, not knowing what happened to the detained members.
8. The killing of tens of thousands of the Palestinians is continuing. Even children and babies have been killed.
9. Clearly the Palestinians have no security.
10. And so the Palestinians decided to capture Israelis to make them hostages. The Palestinians expected an exchange of prisoners could be carried out. So the Israeli hostages had to be kept alive.
11. But what do the Israelis do. They rampaged and committed genocide. They killed more than 60,000 Palestinians – not the Hamas soldiers but the non-combatants men, women, children, babies, new born, the old and the incapacitated, the sick patients in the hospitals.
12. And their claim is that the massacres are in defense and the security of Israel.
After killing more than 60,000 Palestinian in Gaza, a ceasefire was initiated on condition the Israeli hostages would be released. There would be an exchange of hostages for the Palestinian detainees.
13. The numbers were telling. The number of Palestinian detainees released were huge. These people had been detained for years. Hundreds of them were released in exchange for less than ten Israeli hostages each time. It is clear that the claim by the Palestinians that Israel had detained thousands of Palestinians is true. There had been no trial of any kind. The world has never heard of the trials because there was none.
14. Detention without trial is morally wrong, even though some countries including Malaysia have laws which permit this. When Israel detains thousands of Palestinians without trial the great liberal democrats in Europe and America oppose because Israel has a right to secure itself.

GUNUNG JERAI
1. Not many Malaysians have visited Gunung Jerai, the mountain that arise from the flat rice fields of Kedah. Yet Gunung Jerai has some of the most unique natural features of a forest on the mountain.
2. There are many waterfalls. The temperature is cool and nice. Jungle tracts take you to many beautiful sights.
3. Then there are the giant trees. It needs sixteen men or women to circle the base with arms outstretched. They are actually bigger (and probably older) than the red-wood trees of America. No one has measured their height.
4. The reason why they are not so well known is because their huge trunks are hidden by the rich undergrowth of a tropical rain forest. There are jungle tracts leading to their bases. They are really worth the effort to walk along these tracts.
5. The waterfalls are not big. But the water is cool and clear. They are pretty.
Good tarred road winds through the slopes to the main habitable area. There is a hotel. From this vantage point there is a beautiful view of the plains of rice fields below and the coast of Kedah. The beauty is breathtaking.
6. However the hill cannot take too many visitors. So there is a need to book well ahead.

He stated in Jakarta “But if they themselves admit – not as an accusation but as a declaration – that ‘I (Mahathir) or my son own RM1.2 billion, and another one RM4 billion’, then the money must be returned. “You must pay it back, unless you can clearly explain where the funds came from”. I never admitted and I have explained where my wealth came from.
3. Where does he get all these figures and statements? His Chief Commissioner of MACC had carried out a full investigation and has stated that Mokhzani’s declared assets are worth around RM1 billion while Mirzan declared RM246.2 million to the MACC.
4. And the Chief Commissioner Azam Baki, stated SPRM (MACC) was satisfied (berpuas hati) with the declaration made by Mokhzani and Mirzan as given above.
5. Was Azam Baki satisfied without knowing the sources of this wealth? The MACC questioned my sons many times, each time for many hours. Did MACC ask about the sources of the wealth as declared?
6. Azam Baki did not talk about cash. He was talking about the value of the wealth of the two. These were made up of property, shares, liabilities etc. which were acquired during 20 years plus of doing business. Such properties appreciate in value over time.
7. The MACC did not state that the sources are “unclear or illegitimate”. The MACC and Azam Baki cannot state they are satisfied “if the declarations are unclear or illegitimate”.
8. Why should I or my sons admit to something that is not true. I or my sons never declared we own the RM1.2 billion or 4 billion. The MACC said we declared that Mokhzani’s wealth is worth RM1 billion and Mirzan’s wealth is worth RM 246.2 million. And the MACC is satisfied with the declaration.
9. Is Anwar demanding that we sell all our property and give the proceeds to the Government? On what grounds is he making this demand?
10. As for the demonstration on 26 July, it was not about supporting me or my sons. The people are asking Anwar to step down. They don’t want him because his being PM has caused a lot of misery among the people. If he doesn’t believe the people don’t want him as Prime Minister, he should dissolve Parliament and hold a General Election. It is not the members of Parliament who demonstrated. So a motion in Parliament is irrelevant.

2. What is the deal? In return for the U.S. reducing the tariff from 25% to 19%, Malaysia is abolishing all taxes on 11,000 U.S. products entering Malaysia.
3. And the Prime Minister has stated that Malaysia will supply the U.S. with rare earth.
4. Now rare earth as rare earth fetches little money. It is only 5% of the total value of the material. Malaysia should process the rare earth and extract the elements in it because the return would be as much as 30 times higher than just rare earth.

4. The only country which can intervene is also the United States of America.
5. But it is clear that America will not intervene. In fact its intervention is in favour of Israel.
6. What kind of people are the Americans. They talk so much about human rights, about the sanctity of human life. But they approve genocide by bombs and rockets. And now the genocide by starvation. Obviously they, the Americans, are hypocrites. They are in fact savages with no sense of pity at all.
