2. Take KLCC. The twin towers were once without partners. Now the garden area is completely surrounded by high-rise hotels, condos and officers.
3. It is the same with the railway station. It is now hidden by a palisade of hotels, offices and apartments.
5. Perhaps they are empty. I know about cities going through a building boom only to precipitate a bubble. But at night I see lighted windows of the condos indicating that they are occupied. The bubble may yet come. But for now the building boom is not yet a bubble.
6. The suburban parts of Kuala Lumpur now see a number of new towns, linked to the city. There is Mont Kiara, Sri Kembangan, Puchong and many others. Then there are old Petaling Jaya, much changed, Subang Jaya, Putrajaya and Cyberjaya. In between there are the well-laid-out housing estates, small towns in themselves.
7. When the Kuala Lumpur International Airport was relocated to Sepang, Subang became deserted except for the occasional military aircrafts of the transport squadron landing and taking off. Today the second terminal has been refurnished and upgraded and is the hub for the Firefly turboprops. In addition there are two FBOs serving scores of private jets and other aircrafts. Many foreign aircrafts are parked in the huge AIROD complex, where they are being serviced or repaired.
8. Toll roads and flyovers help to reduce traffic at ground level. But the number of motor vehicles being put on the road each year continues to cause congestion.
9. Foreign investors invest billions for each of their projects. And Malaysia companies also report billions of Ringgit of profits. And they are also going abroad to build power plants, roads, ports and airports. I remember in my time when profits of a hundred million Ringgits were considered great. Now profits for a quarter may exceed one billion for banks and other businesses.
10. The rural areas are not neglected. Roads, schools, clinics, water supply and electricity reach even the remotest villages.
11. There may be unemployed graduates but their number are really small.
12. I have been visiting many countries and in none of them do I see growth as I see in Malaysia.
13. I also notice that many richly endowed countries of the developing world remain backward and underdeveloped. And invariably they fail because of politics, because dictatorships or wrong ideas about the freedoms of democracy. In both cases the love of self is greater than love of nation. Consequently they would rather see their nations remaining poor and undeveloped as long as their selfish ambitions remain supreme.
14. Malaysia is really well on the way to achieve the objective of becoming a fully developed country of 2020. But politics may still get in the way.
15. Some who see the Arab Spring seems bent on proving that the Government of this country is like the Governments of these Arab countries. The Government is being demonised despite the fact that this country with less resources than the Arab countries has developed beyond expectations; has given its citizens a good life and has seen democratic election being held wherein the Government party suffer serious losses and the opposition make very substantial gains. In Malaysia, unlike in the authoritarian countries in the Arab world, there has never been elections in which the Government gets 90% of the votes. Admittedly the same party has won all the 12 elections. This is frustrating for the opposition parties. But as much as the people can reject the Government party, the people also have a right to return the same party in any election. What is important is that support for the party is due to its success in developing the nation and meeting the needs of the people.
16. Change is not always for the good. There have been many instances when changes have brought disaster for the nation.
17. On the other hand the people have a right to criticise or even condemn the Government they elected. This is necessary to keep the Government on the straight path.
18. Some time between now and mid-2013 Elections must be held. I hope the people will not be swayed by the campaign of hate but should make a proper assessment of the qualities of the people and parties which will contest. Think of the development and progress of this country and choose wisely.
Malaysia memang sentiasa berkembang. Tapi berkembang bagaimana?
Sayang Malaysia! Bangunkan Malaysia! Hidup Malaysia!

You have rightly presented the true picture of life in Singapore which is led by a leadership with ambitions of creating the State to be the World’s Best. Your facts came from facts in the Singaporean Blogs. No more. No less. Well-done –
Because our good fellow citizens do not realise how good and unique our beloved Malaysia is – even now.
In Malaysia’s case, we plodded along normally, happily with freedom the Malaysian Way. We have come a long long way !
The scandalous problems of today will be microscopic (if our beloved Nation reverts back to her normal form) 25, 50, 100 or even 500 years from now.
Actually, the most important problem of Malaysia today is the fact that very rich people and fly-by-night types want to be the Government of Malaysia without a proven record !
A very rich friend asked me once whether he should join politics or not. I told him that 50 percent of the population is jealous of him and if he joins, the other 50 percent will hate him. So, he is hated by 100 percent of the population always !
Salaam Tun
Singapore going through a lot of trying times despite being ‘The Third Richest Country’ in the world.
Lately a lot of corruption case, prostitution….anti-foreigner feeling is on the rise etc
All these are happening in the name of money $$$.
I hope Malaysia dont grow too fast and at the expense of her citizens like what is happeining to ‘rich’ born and bred Singaporeans.
You dont have to be like Singapore…actually if given the opportunity, average Singaporeans want to live in Freehold landed house, cars that can be owned forever as opposed to 10 years life-span etc etc.

Malaysia media can move in to Singapore
There are many untold truth
Malaysia Ministers also can visits Singapore Opposition Party
Chee Soo Juan, late J.B Jeyaratnam son, and many more timid opposition. Just a friendly visits like Lee visits Anwar, DAP,
Nik Aziz
Invite their opposition to be frequently media interview
Like the series talking point
Salam Tun and All,
I’m impressed with Joshua’s observation. I do love Malaysia. We are living side by side with distant background and faith but are able to do better than other single race and faith countries. I maybe bias, but it is apparent that the quality of life in numerous amount of countries in the world are somewhat poorer than Malaysia.
There are improvement opportunities, but to bring down the entire scheme for the cause of one guy would be too extreme, fanatic and radical. The price we going to pay if we are ignorant, obsessive or carefree. Be careful of the devil you don’t know, you may not know what you got till its gone. RM3 billion is really a lot of money for one guy and it seems that lust is difficult to be satisfied.
A mistake by one PM last time have made our cost of living shot up dramatically. This will take God knows how long to be resolved. If we increase more pay it will increase more cost of living. We just got to work harder than before, there is no other way out. Some other damages can even become quite permanent.
Now if we gamble all the money for charity purposes and relax lifestyle, the effect may be unreversible like the Grecian. Theoretically, it is best that if we can improve our productivity rather than involving ourselves to some nonsense politics and rhetoric.
It is ironic how all the gung-ho’s happening during two PM/DPM personalities which starts with the letter A. It is all the big hu ha during Abdullah and Anwar’s era..
Peace.
Dear GOD, forgive me if I do not write the truth.
Normally our General Election will be held every four years although by constitution it could be held every five years.
Why did our government held the election every four years, not every five years?
The reason is… prior to the next general election, BN will conduct a survey. The survey will be carried out by tuuut!!!… (self-sensored!). This survey is to gain information on whether BN could win in the next incoming general election. If the survey result shows that BN has good chance in winning the general election, the government will then call for the general election. If the survey shows that BN does not have a good chance to win, the government will postpone the election because they still have one year to rectify whatever need to be rectified.
The only exceptional case was during Pak Lah’s tenure. Pak Lah failed to utilize this intelligence service by tuuut… (self-sensored!) and for the second time (the 1st time in 1969), BN failed to gain 2/3 majority.
Now is already end of June 2012 and the government still has not called for our next general election.
This is a CLEAR indicative that BN is not in a good position to win in our next general election. Thus, the government needs to wait until their next survey shows that BN have good chance to win the general election. The government has one year period to do this.
My sincere opinion is… whether the government called the general election now or delay it until mid 2013, BN will still have a TOUGH fight with PR. This is due to some scandals by some of BN leaders and some of these scandals are not allegation but facts, and these scandals involved huge amount of money.
From unofficial information which I received, PR is ready to expose few more scandals by some of BN leaders. Let’s wait and see.
I also noticed that BN is still rewinding and playing again and again the same old issues regarding Anwar Ibrahim… old stories about his moral, old stories about him being an agent to USA, old stories about his RM 3 billion account, and few more bad old stories about him.
My sincere opinion… BN should stop attacking Anwar Ibrahim. Indirectly, by keep on focusing and attacking Anwar Ibrahim, BN is acknowledging that Anwar Ibrahim is still a big, significant threat to BN.
Most of the matured voters do not care about moral of the politicians. What they care is whether the politician is capable to deliver the services.
An MCA politician had a ‘hot’ video but he still being chosen by MCA members.
An UMNO politician had a love affair with a newscaster’s wife and married her but until now, he is still a very prominent politician.
A PKR politician did not file a ‘saman malu’ (defamation suit) although the three datuks exposed a ‘hot’ video, allegedly connecting it to him (the PKR politician) but no PR leader(s) ever question why did he (the PKR politician) never file a ‘saman malu’.
I hope that from now and onward, both parties (BN and PR) will stop playing the moral issues as it is obvious that both (BN and PR) do not have the credibility to speak on moral issues. I prefer to see other issues eg. oil subsidies, PTPTN, AUKU, ISA etc.
I just don’t like the word ‘L*W*T’ or LGBT appear in the front page of Utusan Malaysia as I will face difficulties to explain it to the minors.
To all voters, please bare in mind that only with a strong opposition, all the scandals involving the ruling party politicians could be exposed. Without a strong opposition, all the scandals by the ruling party politicians will be kept hidden.
As such, I think that the status quo is good for us… BN as a ruling party and PR as a strong opposition for check and balance.
Rgds.

Well-done my friend. Vote for BN in the 13th General Elections. Vote for Malaysia’s greatness in keeping peace and stability through the Royal Sultans of yore and successive Governments since Merdeka 1957. We all make mistakes but the mistakes made by the recent Government were administrative ones. These will be corrected and things will be normal again. We are Malaysians.
Let there be no blood shed on the streets of Kuala Lumpur, our beloved capital city.
Vote for evolution and not revolution !
Asalamualaikum Tun,
I was born in 67.During that time Malaysia is just a country with full of jungles. If you ask any mat saleh during that time, they will describe the same, but if you asked them now the answer will be much positive different. Not to imagine but proof is now and for you all to see what has Malaysia transform into. A global recongition in economy and islamic. Thank you 2 u TUN for the vision and changes not to forget to the past PM’s. As rakyat, what else do we need more. No doubt humans make mistake weather in the goverment or private. We have the right and obligation to reconigse the mistake and make changes, but not thru street demonstration or hiting thru media. We have proper channels that we can go to. And another thing, don’t be fanatical about other people mistake instead we should understand why and look for solutions. For me the country is at the highest peak of success, why must we destroy it for the sake of someones bad dreams.
YAB,
31. I will vote BN in GE13th Keranamu Malaysia.
32. In GE14th, if BN still thinks of their personal politics that can make them god dam rich via PM that do not make any geo-economical sense, be prepared to loose.
33. Siapa makan cili, siapa rasa pedas.
Take care, YAB.
Good evening,
Amin Tan you nailed it with your response.
Sarcastic yet truly poignant as PR is apt to promise.
However, our present govt hasn’t exactly delivered on the fundamental needs of the rakyat at large. Costs are still spiralling upwards and the ordinary man in the street is still finding it hard to make ends meet.
All the 100/500 rgt given out will eventually be returned to the govt’s coffers via increased cost of goods. Again i stressed that almost all that I’ve spoken to laments on this rather than the excellant report card figures hyped by the govt.
I could be wrong but I do not think that all I’ve spoken to are wrong as well.
Malaysia is still a wonderful country to live in but it could be better right? Enough of the rhetorics, just get down to the job and perform!
Cakap kurang sikit, bikin lebih la!
Thank you.

Dearest YAB Tun,
1. Yes, Malaysia is still growing, fast!
2. I visited an ASEAN country recently (not Indonesia or Thailand; I have visited these two countries too), and from my observation, this country is still far behind Malaysia in terms of development. The people over there have to work very hard just to earn small amount of money (not much) to survive. Corruption level is very high; it is like they have (force) to participate in bribery all the time. In Malaysia we can still avoid being involved in bribery/corruption; we can always say NO.
3. In addition, the opposition leaders who accuse the Government of being corrupt are actually more corrupt – “cakap saja berdegar-degar; tapi berlumuran tahi…sampai nak cuci pun tak sempat…dan rakyat tidak bodoh untuk menilai..”
4. We must maintain the current Government (BN) in order to maintain whatever we have. Be thankful with what we already have. Jangan nanti YANG DIKEJAR TAK DAPAT, YANG DIKENDONG BERCICIRAN.
5. Many foreigners told me that Malaysia is a blessed country and they feel safe here, and they are happy to become a Malaysian (if possible). May be those who are not happy here can swap places with these foreigners.
6. Oppositions are not interested in the country’s development and growth. Just see what they did during BERSIH 3.0. They are more interested in destroying the country, and creating havoc just to fulfill their own personal agenda.
7. So, vote for BN. Having said that, I hope BN will get rid of those leaders who are corrupt and have no desire to serve the people.
Thanks Tun.
*** May Allah SWT bless Tun and family ***

How appropriate is the title of your latest comment ‘ Malaysia is still growing ‘!
I am proud to be a citizen of Malaysia.
As we watch the current events unfolding in Singapore, one after another, I suppose those admirers of this country would soon realise they were admiring the wrong icon. Then, how DAP ?
First, the desperate attempts for over a decade to recruit millionaires from China and India to fill in the void of 200,000 Singaporeans which should have been born and not ended up in the wash (longkang) due to the failure of the Singapore Government’s 2 Child Policy during 1970-1980s.
This immigration policy has led to a clash of communities trying to adopt multiculturalism which has so far been non-existent in Singapore.
Vide. Channelnewsasia. DPM Statements. 2012 and media on the Sino-Indian Curry Incident 2011.
Second, the gigantic financial loss of US$ 108 Billions on Wall Street in October, 2008 of public Trust money.
Vide. Channelnewsasia. Lee Kuan Yew. November 2008. All Singaporean Blogs. January 2009-2012. Financial Times London. Gillian Tett. ‘Singapore’s Harvard Model’. April 2010
Third, the increased opposition (40% of the electoral roll) to the Singapore Government in the 2011 General Elections.
Vide. All Singaporean Blogs.
Why Singapore’s own citizens dislike Lee Kuan Yew and some of our citizens admire him ? Those Malaysians who admire him please explain.
Fourth, the failure of the meritocratic pyramid which largely benefits the elite 1% based on academic qualifications and money and not the 99% proletariat at the bottom.
A fine example is the Pyramids of Egypt which are devoid of meritocrats, absolutely dry and foreboding – there is no human touch !
Fourth, the general uproar over the ‘Woffles Wu’ case as handled by the Singapore Judiciary. it is alleged he is a nephew of a former President of Singapore. And it is also alleged there is a law for the rich and another one for the poor.
Vide. All Singaporean Blogs.
See how absolute power corrupts absolutely !
These are the true facts as these unfold from ‘ meritocratic world class ‘ Singapore !
Please Malaysian Chinese have respect for yourselves, your families and your friends and compatriots. Vote for BN who has delivered and do not admire foreign icons with proven feet of clay who have their own secret agendas which may not be to your interest.
Malaysia has treated the Malaysian Chinese best of all – better than Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China and the rest of the World !
Benefit yourselves and your compatriots for a Greater Malaysia to come !
Vote BN ! If you vote DAP, you may not get Lim Kit Siang and definitely not Lee Kuan Yew…..you may get PAS !!!

GOD knows the Truth
BBC, CNA, CNN, make News NOT Truth
Media News frame and mould our life
These media broadcasters are capable of lying
Capable of fabricating
They are fond of broadcasting others Backside
Instead of broadcasting their very own backside
So their News is about broadcasting peoples backside
As if they have no backside
Perhaps they feel ashamed, it,s dirtier and the blackest
That,s besides theie Stinks
It,s like Americans Hollywood movie
Lots of lies, lots of propaganda
So New Generations learn this
Western News and their Alliance News
Is news about fabricarting others backside
They cannot show their own backside because they are embarass
We can see CNA news of Malaysia Politics differs from RTM
CNN news differs from Aljazeera
I like RT news
Wikileads,they are different
Mind my languages
I prefer straight words

The current brand of politics that highlighting negativities, hatred, lies etc should be rejected. Having in power for so long, BN should have enough experience and track record that can transform Malaysia to a greater high, rather than trying to dance to opposition tune. That will be a step backward. If many wrong-doings that BN have done as highlighted by the opposition, then they should take action through the proper systems that have been established to protect the public interest.
As for the people, they should be knowledgeable enough to think rationally/professionally if they are truely love Malaysia. They should realised that despites many known shortcomings, Malaysia have developed, progressed, remained peaceful & in harmony and these should be maintained & protected. Malaysia has been the envy of many nations especially the developing countries, and we all, the majority peace loving Malaysians should be proud it. Whatever internal problems we have ( who do not have ? ), we should try to solve them ourselves ( at our own pace ) because we should know our problems and shortcomings, better than outsiders. We should totally reject policy in inviting outsiders’ interference.
In this respect, I totally agree with comments from Sentinel5.
May Allah SWT protect us from all evils.
Salam Tun,
“Build or Perish” the working formula since the birth of time.
even Lim Guan Eng knows that(ie. Penang Tunnel)
In my opinion.
BN might lose Sarawak, if they don’t build railroads there.
Connecting places, Connects People.
Plus borneo have so much resources that’s awaits to be produce for the goods of people.
Peninsula, Double Electrified Railroad Project. Work Hard!
Electric Train Service (ETS) was Amazing.
“Woe to every scandalmonger and backbiter
Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by
Thinking that his wealth would make him last forever
By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into that which breaks to Pieces.”

Assalamualaikum Tun,
Terima kasih Tun. Allah sentiasa memelihara Tun.
I think the government can easily gain support easily by just making today’s street safer. At least it shows the government is doing something.
My Beloved Dato’Seri,
The growth we have experienced under your leadership is felt until today. That is why despite the five years under Tun Baduah, we were cushioned with the fruits of your labour. Any clear thinking person would agree with me.
Now we have the current PM, if he wins well for UMNO-BN, then he should stay on moreover we do not have a suitable person to take over his seat. Muhyiddin Is Bad News and should be retired off in his current seat as DPM.
Now about Anwar, it was your mistake because you insisted in exclusively teaching him your knowledge and wisdom. You should have known better, he was from ABIM, he was known for street violence. Accusations thrown at him should have been known by you from the start. The social structure laid down by Tunku until your leadership was one based on Moderate Islam and Secularism. Secularism is very important for a cosmopolitan country such as ours and it’s in line with the federal constitution and civil laws. At the same time, Islam was never sidelined. You struck a perfect balance.
But Lo & Behold came Anwar who recognized his short comings, He decided to drive this country into a pandemic of feudalism and narrow mindedness, ultra racism & ultra fanatism which broke the social structure in the early 90s whereby Malays were seperated from Non Malays and the racial divide became seriously wrong and unhealthy. He was the founder of Islamisation that he caused to spread like wild fire but it wasn’t the Islam Of The Holy Prophet, It was Anwar’s Islam to create racial divide and fanatism beyond the mind of any reasonable humanbeing.
He lived a stand of an ultra Malay and ultra Muslim but was in the best of relationship with the United States for his own personal agenda. There he was slowly but surely breaking down every social structure. He also founded moral policing which never exsisted in our land whereby we were denied from our constitutional rights to privacy.
He went on further which his insensitivity towards other religions especially to mine, the things he did, i clearly remember. Even to the extent of raping our missionary schools from her history, arts and structure. Everything he did was not the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad. He thrived on his Lucifer-Centric Islam to garner rural votes and Malay popularity. He was plain evil. Can you imagine, i was force to start my school year in the middle of december and he blamed it on the floods! Everybody knew his intention and it was obvious and it was rather foolish of him. The education system further dropped into the gutter under his as education minister.
To begin with, this man’s academic credential is a BA in Malay Studies. How does this help him in anyway of becoming a PM with International Standing? All he did was harp on his views of Islam because in actual fact he saw it as a means of building Malay Popularity.
Things that Malays lived and the lifestyles they chose suddenly became unacceptable to him. He interfered so much with the lifestyles of Muslims, banning them from this and that. He went on a rampage to create a Malaysia based on his own half read view on Islam. Being half read is rather dangerous.
Today, he parts from his history of draconian feudalism ad fanatism because he wants the support of all citizens. He speaks about the constitution and freedom, civil right and human rights which he completely ignored as Minister and DPM.
He did work with the US to bring You and UMNO down. The same party that made him rich and the Man that tutioned him to be a great leader. Isn’t he a Double headed Snake?!
Tun
Before I could say ‘ Good Morning, Tun’, my eyes were caught by the following headlines – NSTP ‘Ministry summons Singapore envoy’ and the Star ‘ Different strokes of justice ‘.
Right away I recalled the ‘ 5 Essential Attributes of an Administration ‘ which should form the guide to the efficient form and function of the Government of any independent State.
The 5 Essential Attributes of a successful Administration.
1. Money should not be used as an instrument of foreign policy to kill, maim or harm innocent men, women and children. There should be no blood on the hands of the Prime Minister. Malaysia’s record on this is clean and clear.
2. The Sovereignty, the National Interest and the Self-Esteem of the Nation are safe-guarded.
3. Public and Trust Funds should not be placed in lesser institutions than those of a sovereign state, which line Wall Street.
4. Humanity and multiculturalism as pracitised by the Royal Sultans for centuries and also by successive Governments since Merdeka 1957 –
even Norway the home of freedom and democracy lost 77 innocent souls in her inability to adapt to multiculturalism.
5. The buck stops at the Prime Minister’s desk of whoever in power –
legal or illegal methods of money aggrandization are verboten !
I sincerely appeal to the Malaysian Chinese to respect themselves, their families and friends and vote steadfastly for the BN – for continuity and evolution and not revolution.
Do not be conned by the magic shows of smoke and mirrors with the same magician behind always.
The true story will unfold and will be told.
The War on Terrorists
Does not Exists
It,s the War of United States Agenda
Their greeds,their importance
Media War to instigates opposition to topple the ruling govt
Selling of US Excessive weapons to kill among the innocents
US supplying of weapons NOT to topple the ruling govt
BUT to Breakdown the Nation
UN ,Iran involvement for Syria Peace was strongly put down by US for fear of US agenda being obstruct
US has accused lies of propanganda Soviet sending weapon, helicopters does not exist.
US sending expensive weapons to oppositions was admited by US
YAB Tuan Guru Dr Mahathir Yg DiRahmati Allah swt.
3. Syabas Malaysia!!! ………… Syabas BN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
4. Tq DrMahathir.
Salam sejahtera Tun,
Thank you for putting things in perspective and for the reminder to vote wisely.
i am in real dilemma, I know I will not vote the opposition because the one voted in for my constituency at the last GE has proven to be very incompetent and dishonest. However I am not happy with the BN way currently. BN has not shown me that the have changed or want to change. YAB Dato’ Seri Najib is doing a fair job but his Ministers and many other government agencies are not making impact where it matters.
Here are my frustrations:
1. BN politicians are still busy fighting for individual gains. until today the old guards are all bent on sticking around and not readily willing to let go of their position of power. if Dato’ Seri Najib continue to field these MPs who have been in more than 2 past GEs, I will have to stop my support. and I know many others feel the same.
2. The Government is not concerted in putting together a good propaganda machinery to educate the public about the Global Competition and on how each and every Malaysian can and must prepare to be an effective citizen in the developed Malaysia of 2020. TV3, RTM and all Ministeries are still seen to be promoting the culture of festivals, Rakyat gatherings and free concerts to the Malays. I am almost sure these big crowd mobilizing events are just one of many ways that some lucky connected few make millions thru baju resmi, khemah and caterings, entertainment etc.
3. Frankly the government must stop being event and khenduri organizers. Dato’ Seri Najib must bring in young and newer blood who will have the courage to leave behind all the legacy practices of UMNO.
4. i desperately want to vote an MP that can bring the following to Kuala Lumpu
* clean streets and unclogged drains(KL especially Bangsar) is filthy compares to itself 10 years ago and compares to Shanghai, Singapore or even to Central Business District Jakarta.
* better security to citizens. Forget trying to. convince the public that the Police crime index is showing improvements. As far as I am concerned I am less safe now and I feel insecure in my home and when I am out driving or walking in the streets. In the past 2 years My house has been broken into, my neighnours houses too. Other neighbors’ cars are broken into and one was stolen. I know
of more than 5 people who are victims of robbery and snatch theft. in all the cases the criminals are not caught.
* put a stop to citizens having to pay thousands to private security and alarm systems to protect family security
* stop building more skyscrappers. KL has more than enough. we need more parks and better pathways for safe walking. We need public football fields and basketball courts.
thank you Tun. I will wait and see.
Dear Tun,
This time around it is going to be tough for Barisan Nasional because of the Opposition election propaganda and promises. If you vote Opposition you can
1. Go to heaven as promised by PAS
2. All chinese and Indians can have Bumiputra privileges, as promised by PKR. No more jealousy of non Malay and everybody now can have Malaysian Malaysia as advocated by the DAP.
3. FREE EDUCATION up to university level. Even though in England and America, every one has to pay for their university education, in Malaysia it is free, thanks to PKR
4. All tols would be abolished
5. All utilities, water and electricity to households and factories would be free of charge with the complement of PKR
6. All public transport would be free, bus train and MAS and Air Asia because patronas has the money to pay for the fuel
7. Proton cars and perodua would be given free to all voters who has driving licenses because these cars belong to the government and therefore the people. PAKATAN RAKYAT now has become the government. It is now entirely up to the discretion of the government of the day as it see fit.
8. All income tax would be abolished as in the sultanate of Brunei Darulsalam. If Brunei can do it, why not Malaysia. We have more oil than Brunei, only Barisan National government under declare it. Anwar Ibrahim should know better because he was the Finance Minister when he was sacked.
9. Every form of taxes and fee would be abolished as they are burden to the voters
10. Minimum salary would be raised to rm5000 per month and 4 working days week same as in Australia. Singapore is third richest country in the world, after Sweden and Denmark. If PR rules, Malaysia would be the richest country in the world, Number One, no less and second to none.
11. INSHA ALLAH says Karpal Singh of DAP

Salam Tun,
I hope everything is good with you and your family. May Allah always bless you and your family.
I find this article very interesting due to its content regarding the things that have been done and created by the government to help Malaysia to be a beautiful country like it is today. I must say Praise be to God for the bless country I am living in. I can’t deny that. I appreciate everything about our achievements done by all Malaysians. Peace and harmony.
But many people in the government need to grow too Sir. We need to work harder and tolerate others well. We need to be more friendly and understand about other people, their culture, opinions and respect them. We need to live without having hatred in our hearts. We need to treat everybody equally and call us Malaysian and not Malay, Chinese or Indian. We need to install this in our current situation where everybody is talking about its identity rather than the identity of Malaysian. After all, 1Malaysia concept is for this purpose.
Once we can do that, we should teach our ministers about good values. Teach them about good governance. Teach them about integrity. Teach them about discipline in order to lead the country to a greater heights. Or else better let others who fit the bill to rule the country. Do not waste our time or risk our future.
The attitudes of the ministers in UMNO, MCA or MIC have to change. Their mindset and games have to be cleaned up. They need to rule the country like professional but with a good heart. Judge fairly, rule peacefully, give equal rights, treat everybody the same, respect others, respect the elders, no bribery, no corruption, and most of all, believe in God.
Ministers in UMNO think that they know everything. They are untouchable. No one can say anything about their way of ruling even though it is obviously not right. So this attitude of ministers in UMNO has made a lot of people especially the youngsters, frustrated and lost hope with UMNO. I am not surprise if the youth will decide the outcome of the next election, not because they hate UMNO, but because they feel UMNO is no longer relevant to them. Once it hits them, it is difficult to attract them back again. I know the old people will always vote for UMNO because of the past history but the youth, I doubt they still have any hope on current UMNO leaderships.
The only hope I see is UMNO has to be cleaned up within just like how you said it before. And get rid of the corrupt leaders in the Cabinet. We need a strong leader Sir. A leader like you. A leader with a vision. A leader with strong will power who knows exactly what he wants to achieve. With our current Prime Minister, he has so much on his plate to answer to. He’s scandal everywhere and plus he is a bit shaky with regards to ethnic and Malay unity. He can’t get the support of everybody even within UMNO itself. Forget about the Chinese and Indians. They like Anwar more.
I pray that whoever wins the next election will be good for the country. Enough of power crazy minister to be in it. Enough of corruption practicing within UMNO and BN. Enough of mismanagement of government’s fund. Enough of being a child and lead us to the light.
Hope Malaysia will grow to be a beautiful nation with its own identity and always be blessed by God with peace and harmony. God willing.
Thank you Tun

Salam Tun,
Terima kasih Tun,
Good evening,
I beg to differ on your opinion that Malaysia is growing.
1) Financially yes but only for selected few.
We still see a lot of sad looking ordinary man/woman lamenting on the raising prices and low low wages.
BNM’s figures somehow do not reflect the sentiment and well-being of the ordinary rakyat. Just ask around and you will hear people complain on the high cost of living. Please do not ask those who will only tell you what you want to hear and NOT what you need to hear.
2)Maturity wise it’s still lacking as seen by the wakil rakyat’s actions/antics in and out of parliament, not to mention the civic conscious level of my fellow countrymen. We still litter the country, we still act as if we are the only driver on the roads, etc etc.
3)Roads are only being resurfaced when elections are round the corner or if a VIP is making a visit to that area.
4)People are not as hard-working anymore. We delegate them to the indonesians, bangladeshis, myanmarese, vietnamese etc while we sit comfortably on our ever growing fat asses in air-conditioned environment. We put it as work-smart and not work-hard. Another word for this is LAZY!
I’m still proud to be a malaysian but I don’t go around shouting about it for I believe in deeds rather that words that makes the world move on.
I regret that today I am being negative but sometimes we need to call a spade a SPADE, right?
Thank you
I’m a student from uitm shah alam.. bachelor in physics.. and my vote goes to BN for next GE.. nuff said
Assalamualaikum Tun,
I don’t think I can vote for PKR. The party’s symbol is a one eye. In this “akhir zaman”, this is very sensitive, since the one eye symbol is associated with dajal. If dajal was to see Malaysia being ruled by a party that has a one eye for a symbol, what would he say?
Happy weekend Tun.
Malaysia is indeed a lucky country. Each of her prime ministers is a good prime mininster. Each recognised the necessity for the various races to live in harmony. Indeed, Malaysian is blessed.
However, you do not have a good press when you were prime minister. I recalled visiting a rubber tile factory in Victoria, Australia. They have just opened a factory in Sri Lanka. I asked the CEO why did he not open a factory in Malaysia. Malaysia has plenty of rubber and many of her people are educated in English – therefore, it should be the ideal place for them to put their factory. His reply was that Malaysia is an unstable place. My response was of course, the obvious, Malaysia does not have a king or a prime minister who has an eye blown out. I realised then that it was just bad press and this CEO believed his newspapers. I then asked him if Singapore is stable. He said yes. I asked him further is it possible for Singapore to be stable if Malaysia is unstable? He had no reply.
Salam Tun
1-I concur with you.Malaysia is still growing like there is nothing wrong with the world economy.I hope its not artificially boosted for the elections only to become eyesores later.
2-For a country that has only started to be developed after the separation with Singapore in 1965 we surely have done very well. The credit goes solely to you.If you are like most leaders who are more interested to secure your backside and not take any chances I don’t think we have not much to grow today.Whatever we can grow today has been created and initiated by your regime.God’s blessings to Malaysia you definitely are.
3-In these growth areas we have no issues with BN.Jobs are aplenty, we gave employment to almost 4 million foreign workers in Malaysia. Our infrastructure is almost first world.People who understand can tell the level of development of its people by the infrastructure it has.
4-These achievements are actually outstanding considering we are a country that is so divided with a significant portion of its people are the more global immigrant races that had dominated its economy while the majority of the locals who are Muslims are rural people impoverished and left out in development by the Colonialists.
5-A country that achieved its independence during a time of emergency when the country was experiencing its worst civil war in its history which saw another racial riots nine years down the road. A country the British never gave a chance could survive as a viable nation in the long run,esp that it was being led by Malays, people who never really prepared to take over. But this nation inspite of its volatile racial composition and divisive sentiment could 40 years down the road be transformed from its raw material based economy to become a newly Industrialised nation .No other nation so divided had come this far.
6-Only people who have come from former colonies like India and Indonesia nations also rich in natural resources but with no racial challenges like Malaysia would know how to appreciate Malaysia.Of course Singaporeans will not because they are the greatest people in this world. They turned a poor ‘fishing village’ that had nothing into a first world city state!
7-For the opposition to belittle these achievements as though BN had done nothing worthwhile at all is simply too much.It tantamounts to creating a lie about the BN and not giving credit when credit is due.Its more jealousy than a fact.
8-The only problem with UMNO/BN however is that it has allowed success to get to its head. The temptations as a result of their material success is simply too strong to resist. We don’t want arrogant leaders like Khir Toyo to emerge again within BN.
9-I don’t trust absolutely any politician be it BN or PR.I have more confidence with the proven albeit, now maybe a little malfuctioning BN model than this marriage of convenience of strange fellows PAKATAN model. They are only together because they share a common enemy. This sort of alliance cannot last.
10-If they secure power it is only a matter of time before they will start fighting amongst themselves.Do you think PAS and Keadilan would dare withdraw the special privileges as DAP would demand.Would DAP support hudud laws once PAS wants to implement it? Has PAS really abandoned its Hudud and Islamic state struggle? It would be political suicide for any of them to be supporting all the different political aspirations of the component parties.
11-Absolute power corrupts absolutely. We must not give absolute power to any body.We only want a BN that is being closely checked by the opposition that’s all.I totally agree with CH liew.
Thanks Tun
Tun,
Just like Walt Disney, we all now see it ,
because YOU first saw it !

Tun
It is appropriate and stimulating that you bring up topical subjects which concern our lives and presence in our beloved country.
There seems to be a lack of concern about what really makes up our civil society with its diverse communities. Despite the critics who want fast action without due consideration to human sensitivities and history, I am confident that a country administered by Prime Ministers like yourself will deliver the right goods at the right time in the right manner.
And they can only come from the BN.
At the end of the day, the magic shows with smoke and mirrors will be shown to have no effect when compared with the solid achievements of the BN since Merdeka especially during the 22 year Administration of your Government and the well-being of the peoples including the Opposition which spawned families fully engaged in Malaysian politics.
If you fly above France or England, you will notice below you that the countryside is carved up into pieces like that of a quilted blanket. I thought Canada would be one large blank piece of land considering its size. But to my surprise, I could see down below me were large pieces of land which were also carved up and clearly delineated with borders. In both instances, the countries are fully developed.
However, if we fly above West Malaysia or East Malaysia, we see large patches of green which are the future areas of growth and wealth.
This is the wealth of Malaysia – the raw and undeveloped land. And through the State Executive Legislature, this land is converted into commercial and residential land for the use and wealth of the Rakyat.
This forms the backbone of our democracy – the Malaysian Way. A house or dwelling for a Malaysian family. This is the solid achievement of the BN.
Of course, the Petronas Towers is the nexus of the Nation and is reinforced by the Multi-media Corridor to bring it up to the 21st century terms and enhanced by its connection with Putrajaya.
But without the spider-web nature of the highways put up during your 22 year Administration, the fleshing out of the whole national edifice would be impossible.
This is one main reason that the BN should continue steadfastly in the development of the country for the benefit of the Rakyat.
Unfortunately, during the period after 2003, it was thought that the ways of administrating a Government were simple and easy – free-wheeling. The Rakyat waited and waited.
Yes ! The latter holds if it is understood how to turn a power pyramid into a vital one with goodies flowing down the slippery slope for the proletariat. Otherwise, the pyramids of Egypt will be a prime example – dry and fore-bearing without its ornamental meritocrats sic. the much touted meritocratic pyramids with the smartest fellows at the top.
An important point I like to draw your attention, Tun, is that from day one of Merdeka 1057, it was this signal policy of the Government to encourage the builders and contractors to flourish and prosper. This is one of the core industries to this day. So much so, I am of the opinion that it was the Government who made these entrepreneurs great – right up to this very day.
A similar scenario has been unfolding in China – development for progress.
We must give credit where credit is due – to the BN and the successive Governments.
The Malaysian Chinese are not only treated well as compared with Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China and the rest of the World but have a first hand opportunity to continue to create wealth for the Nation in conjunction with our compatriots and the BN as mentioned above.
Malaysia Boleh !
Tun M and all,
Since when did the Bar Council thinks that they are the only “legal authority comprising lawyers” which has to be listened to by the Government?
There is nothing wrong on having a Law Academy. It represents those legally qualified people (non practising lawyers but with brains too) in various field which opinion and “authority” might be important and better than the Bar Council.
I sense some jeolousy and monopoly here.
Tun M and all,
I have read in the newspaper today about the statement by the Singapura High Commissioner Ong Keng Yong that their three ladies High Commission officials were at Bersih 3 rally and were free to make use of the weekend to go to the scene……
Yeah, right. We Malaysians will definitely do the same when there is such a rally in Singapura in the future.
However, there will be most likely no such rally allowed in Singapura eh, so that is why those three idiots are so curious to “watch” the rally.
Typically Small Singapura Kiasu People…..canned Singapore Lychee….errr Malaysian Rambutan lah………………………….Pathetic and Disgusting.
Tun,
Let me tell you the feeling of our young generation……
UMNO policies has been benificial for our country…
I to benefited from the education policy that BN implemented since our independence……
The problems now is Crooks inside UMNO and its allied parties….
These crooks treats the nations money as their own…..
Their sons are rich…..
Their family and cronies became richer by the year……
UMNO party goal and policies are not wrong….
But the people and leader they elect is crooked….
this problems has spiral down even to grassroots….
they only care of what project that that can get their hands on…
Kindly name any UMNO divison chief who doesnt have Bungalows and fleets of expensive cars in their possesion…..
Yes Malaysia has progressed and became a well develop nation…
But we can do better without missusing the funds…..
Better policies that doesnt supports any cronies…….
My family is hardcore UMNO supporter…..
But TUN…..
WE ARE THE NEW GENERATION THAT ACCES FACTS….
Not just people who takes INFO from RTM,TV3,UTUSAN etc
LOOK at NFC…….
How can acompany created to manage cattles can go aroud and buys LUXURY condos and still maintain that it was desicion…..
U r by far wiser than me….
For that i respect you…..
But Change is imminent…..
Im sorry…….
This is no era for “yes Boss ” mentality…..
Just to share my opinion……Thanks Tun….
So far DS Najib is doing a good job for the country and the people.
I am from Penang. I also see DAP is doing a great job in Penang. I see Penang is developing tremendously. Most of the industrial lands provided by PDC are mostly booked.
I think Penang folks will vote BN for parliment but DAP will remain as the government for the state of Penang.
Assalamualaikum,
We are enjoying this growth because of great leaders especially you. Thank You Tun.
Tun,
I will vote for the ruling party in the next GE but could not do so because the nature of my job.
I hope the rakyat will not be swayed by the empty promise of the oppositions but iam sure that the ruling parti will prevail in the next GE.
Tun, i would like to make a suggestion for the post 13-GE if BN win the elections.
I think i have to agree with your detractor, Nazri Aziz that it is time for the ruling party to have a new ruling within BN parties to limit the tenure of its wakil rakyats to a one term or the most two terms if the ruling party want to be relevant forever in this country.
Tun, it is also time for the old guard to make way for new faces including in the Cabinet in the subsequent GE.
I think small changes can be done starting from now in the coming GE.
Eventhou we are not like the authoritarian Arab countries before the Arab Spring, we still see some ministers since the era of Hussein Onn’s still around.
BN should also do something against its politicians that wants to become wakil rakyat to enrich themselves and their cronies. It is time to put a stop on this greedy, selfish attitude among its wakil rakyat once and for all.
And yes, i also hope there will be no more ‘bodoh sombong’ wakil rakyat if BN wants to continue to stay to be relevant in this country.
Salam Tun.
