1. This is the third in the series on the above subject. What Najib will do or is likely to do to win the 14th GE would require a whole book. I am listing only a few based on what he had done before and during the 13th GE, what he did during the by-elections and what other things he had done to stifle opposition against him.

2. The nation will remember the 5th Bersih demonstration. He declared that he would not ban it. But we all know the strenuous efforts he made to prevent the demonstration from taking place, or at least to reduce the scale.

3. All sites proposed by Bersih were not approved by the police. Certain streets were also classified as unsuitable. The demonstration must not be violent. It must not result in rubbish being thrown by the demonstrators. Yellow shirts were regarded as criminal wear.

4. Bersih complied with nearly all these restrictions. Unlike street demos in other countries, the demonstrators did not fill the streets but kept mainly to the sidewalks. They obeyed all instructions by the police. They had teams of people to pick the rubbish. The demonstrators avoided littering the roads. There was no violence, not even when the red shirt Government supporters came into contact with the yellow shirts. The world had never seen such an orderly and peaceful demo. No tear gas, no tyres burnt, no cars overturned.

1. Saya kembali ke Kubang Pasu, kawasan saya dahulu, buat kali pertama untuk berbuka puasa di Kodiang selepas 14 tahun meletak jawatan sebagai Ketua Bahagian UMNO Kubang Pasu.

2. Ramailah juga ahli-ahli UMNO Kubang Pasu yang hadir dalam acara iftar itu. Saya sedih kerana ramai lagi dari mereka yang masih berada dalam UMNO.

3. Dalam ucapan saya, saya jelaskan bahawa UMNO sekarang bukan UMNO yang saya pimpin dahulu. UMNO sekarang bukan pun UMNO yang ditubuh pada 1946 oleh Dato Onn, UMNO yang mengalahkan Malayan UNION, dan mencapai kemerdekaan. UMNO sekarang telah dihijack oleh Najib untuk menjadi alat pelindung jenayah yang telah dan sedang dilakukan olehnya. Ia menggunakan duit Kerajaan dan duit 1MDB yang diselewengkan, untuk sogok ahli-ahli UMNO supaya terus menyokong dirinya. Sogokan ini dibuat melalui pelbagai cara.

1. I have written about Najib’s attempts to deprive the opposition of funds to campaign and develop an effective election machinery.

2. That is not all of course. The Election Commission has redrawn the boundaries of the constituencies so that the Malays are separated from the Chinese. He believes the Malays can be easily bribed to vote for BN but the Chinese will continue to be dead against him as they were in the 13th General Election.

3. Beyond that he will change the location of the voting stations so that the voters will find their names no longer at their usual stations. The voters have not been informed of this change. Opposition parties are denied access to the lists of voters. On polling day voters would not be able to vote if their names have been transferred to voting stations far from their usual one.

1. Bangsa yang tidak hargai maruah bangsa tidak akan dihormati oleh masyarakat dunia. Lebih dari itu bangsa itu tidak akan berjaya, akan dihina dan dipermain oleh bangsa-bangsa lain di dunia.

2. Kita berjuang untuk dapat kemerdekaan kerana hasrat menebus maruah, dan menebus kuasa yang boleh menentukan maruah kita terpelihara.

3. Sebenarnya jalan yang termudah dan tidak ada kos ialah dengan menerima penjajahan dan menjadi hamba kepada orang lain. Tetapi banyak negara yang penduduknya sanggup bermati-matian untuk mencapai kemerdekaan, menebus maruah.

1. A personal letter to his friends by Tan Sri Dato Seri Paduka Lee Kim Yew has gone viral.

2. It is a sad story; a story of the depths to which the Government of Malaysia, it’s Prime Minister and civil servants have sunk. It is about daylight robbery in which tax is levied on money without legitimate reason, in which a willingness to pay the tax was basically rejected after many negotiations in which LHDN (Inland Revenue Board) has agreed on the terms but subsequently reneged on it’s agreements, in which money earned through legitimate business in the savings of the victim was labelled as money obtained through criminal acts and the victim is to be charged under AMLA, Anti Money Laundering Act for trying to launder money. Under AMLA, the victim can be arrested, detained and charged in a court of law. In the meantime the savings, all RM126 million would have been seized by LHDN.

3. This money will no doubt become a part of Government revenue and will be spent by the Government. If later it is found that the victim had not done any money laundering and the money should be returned, the Government will have used all this money for free while the victim would lose earning on fixed deposit. The Government will of course not pay any interest on the money it detained. Recovery would take years.

3. Hari ini orang Melayu sudah banyak berubah. Bagi ramai dari kita, sudah tidak ada lagi kesayangan kepada bangsa dan negara. Semangat kebangsaan dicemuh sebagai perkauman – racist. Kita malu jika bersemangat Melayu.
